On the Grid : Cacao Cafe

"You had us at gourmet chocolate. A variety of single-origin chocolates, coffee, hot cocoa, gelato, marshmallows and other goodies, all in this little cafe. With a beautiful atmosphere, and even better sweets, Cacao is the place to go for all things dark and decadent." - Polar Notion

Popular Bangladeshi Restaurant Panahar Closes on Buford Highway in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"The Virginia-Highland chocolate and dessert shop closed after owners Kristen Hard and Caline Jarudi were unable to obtain Payroll Protection Program funding or reach an agreement with their landlord; the retail space is now available for sub-lease, but the business continues to sell chocolates online for delivery and pickup." - Beth McKibben

I found this place by pure chance as I got off the bus at the wrong stop. I went in for directions but chose to stay for a coffee and one of their Empanadas as they looked delicious. I was not disappointed. A mother and her son have just recently taken over the business and they seem to be doing a thoroughly good job so far. It's only a short walk from the busy part of Little Havana which makes it a great place to start if you're in the area. Definitely more local than touristy. I look forward to returning there when I'm back in Miami 😬 If you are on the trolley bus there is a stop outside the cafe.

Very tasty perico Venezuelan style. Served by the owner. Stop by... You won't regret it. Can order to go or sit outside during C-19 restrictions

Best Venezuelan empanadas in town. We have eaten at so many spots and these were the best!!! They are huge and so yummy - reminded us of the empanadas my boyfriend grandma made back in Venezuela.

The empanadas are ridiculously thick, not at all like Venezuelan empanadas. The man working there is extremely rude, won’t ever come back. The lady is nice.

The tastiest and most generous filled Venezuelan Empanadas I have bought in Miami. Fresh dough 😋 and the perfect side of garlic cilantro sauce!
