"I note that Miguel Torres Flores previously launched two restaurants in Tijuana—Caccio Pizza and Rotisserie—which reflect his culinary background and that he will next help the group open another restaurant in Mexicali." - Helen I. Hwang

The pasta and pizza are so good! The spaghetti is very flavorful. The service is very nice, everyone so attentive to us. They have a patio area and a small indoor area.

Google
I really like the food and service. They have unique food combinations, like activated carbon waffles, pizza with beans; seems odd but the food combination work. Mixed drinks are also great. This place can get very busy so make a reservation if you can, especially on weekends or holidays. I think the prices are elevated, but you don’t leave disappointed.

Google
Very, very tasty Italian restaurant in Tijuana. Everything is made in-house and cooked to order. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere is upscale without being snobbish. The pizza has beautiful, delicate dough, extremely fresh and balanced sauce, and rich cheeses. The salads are rejuvenating and taste like they’re right from the green. I loved the chopped salad and the balsamic Brussel sprouts. The drinks are fantastic as well! Everything about this place is great. Service, atmosphere, crowd, ambiance, food, drinks. It’s a must-try in Tijuana when you’re craving Italian.

Google
Excellent pizza, maybe the best in Tijuana. Very good meatballs. Great service. Deducted 1 star for the tiramisu which tasted very little like tiramisu and was only so-so. Wine is overpriced but the cocktails are reasonable. Will definitely return.

Google
Enjoyed a lovely lunch at this Italian restaurant. The pizza was delicious — wonderfully fluffy crust. And the rotisserie chicken and cocktails were just right! Especially enjoyed the Mela Chu Sotol-based cocktail and the Carajillo. The wine selection seemed decent as well with Mexican and international options. Would definitely come back.

Google
Great Italian place in Tijuana, didn't think I could find real Napolitano Pizza from a wood fire oven, but this place has it and it is GOOD. They seem to have taken over a small "plaza" and it's a nice place. The Margarita Fior di Late is really nice.

Google
Wow! The best roasted chicken I've ever eaten. The next trip I would ask that the vegetables are only lightly roasted but overall a great experience and great service.

Google
OMG!!!!! Such a unique flavor!! I had breakfast and it was amazing! Each bite is full of flavor and the service really great! I tought with the portion serving I would ended up hungry, but I was really satisfied.

Yelp
Shared the rotisserie chicken here and OMG--SO good. I never order chicken when I go out (feels too boring?) but this totally changed my mind. Super flavorful, super moist--like, I'm already planning to order it again next time. We picked the risotto as our side and it was really rich--maybe a little too much for me, but if that's your thing, you'll probably love it. We also split the spicy vodka rigatoni, and wow... another winner. The veggies on the side actually tasted garden fresh--not just steamed-to-death filler like a lot of places. The vibe is really classy, but not in a "you can't laugh too loud" kind of way. I like grabbing a table on the patio--it's chill but still feels a little fancy. Also, service? Spot on. Friendly, quick, but not hovering. Will 100% be back.

Yelp
Good Italian food. I had the pasta carbonera and was very satisfied with my choice. Just as good if not better than the trendy spots in Little Italy.

Yelp

Yelp
This place lived up to the hype. Super cool vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. We'll pit for a night time visit. The staff was very good although my Spanish es no perfecto. They worked with me and my wife to feel comfortable. Even ordered drinks "Sin Alcohol" since it's sober November. I ordered the vodka pasta with chicken , my wife got the Blanca pizza. Both were delicious.

Yelp
Insanely good. While the allure of amazing tacos is ever-present when visiting TJ, if you're looking for something different or ever in the mood for Italian, Caccio is the spot! This was a midway stop on our culinary adventures but perhaps one of our favorites. It started with the ambiance and warm service: we were immediately greeted upon arrival and sat near the open kitchen. The decor is very chic and modern. It began with a glass of red wine, followed up with the Dealer's Choice on a gin-based drink. Both beautiful and delicious, this highlight of the meal became a talking point for the rest of the evening. We didn't plan on eating much, but the hand tossed pizza dough combined with the woodfire oven resulted in the carbonara pizza calling our name. Delish. Perfect balance of ingredients. Great texture and flavor. Genuinely can't wait to return.

Yelp
Incredible food! Anytime we're in Tijuana we always eat at Caccio. I like the mushroom pizza and my wife likes the half chicken.

Yelp
First time going here and probably last time coming here. I honestly didn't like their customer service. My mom and sister and I went here and we were all super excited. The person who sat us was friendly but oh my god!!! Everything everything took such a long as time. Even to get our drinks! It was just ridiculous! I ordered a glass of wine and then we ordered calamari a pizza and two pastas. The food literally took. Avery very long time. I was getting super frustrated. The dessert took even longer. I really don't recommend this place. The quality is not even that great. Is not worth your time. The penne pasta was good! It was the only dish I liked a the pizza was so so bad! Super dry and no flavor at all. Prices are okay for what you get. I don't get why people are so excited about this place. Maybe they were having a bad day I might give them antoenr chance but I'm not too sure about it it. My wine was good by the way

Yelp
Well done guys!! Food was fantastic, vibe was right! Wine selection is tiny but well offered.

Yelp
So I ordered Bucattini Amatriciana pasta And capricciosa pizza Not sure what to say, but both dishes were mediocre. It was not bad but it was not at the level where I thought, "I wanna come back here for this dishes again." I definitely should have ordered the pasta al dente, that was my mistake. But was that a pasta dish worth traveling to a restaurant? And artichokes on the pizza. Some areas of the pizza was moist. I am pretty sure it was because of the artichokes. I would have cooked artichokes and pizza separate and placed it on the pizza right before serving. Like, just place the artichokes on a frying pan with a bit of oil, and put the frying pan in the oven along with the pizza. Lava cake. This was great. I was happy about this one genuinely. I noticed many of the yelp reviews had the carbonera pizza. Maybe I will try that next time.

Yelp

Danny S.

Yelp
Always great food. Pizza pasta is incredible. Wish we had one in los angeles. Thank you see next time!

Yelp
This restaurant is amazing! One of the better ones in Baja California. Went here for brunch and they observed all the bullshit COVID protocols . Wait staff are top shelf and seem to know when to approach and when to stay away. Had the pizza here a few months back before the Corona. Amazing! They have a dedicated pizza oven. This place does it right! This place rivals any high end restaurant in San Diego at Baja prices. It's a rare find in a sea of marginal restaurants.

Vivian R.

Yelp
The best was the Carbonara everything else ok, a little pricy. We had a few appetizers and the staff was friendly.

Redgi W.

Yelp
We were just discriminated against. I have been here many times and never had such a terrible experience. We made a 115p reservation for brunch which ends at 2. Upon arrival we were told brunch was over at 1 and we would need to order from the main menu. All the while, there's a promo on the table showing brunch ends at 2 as we have known it to in the past. Its worth mentioning every other time I've visited it's been with another Spanish speaking person. This time it was two black American men. It's extremely disappointing because this was once my favorite little gem to share with friends.

Yelp
Whether it is brunch or dinner, this place is one of my faves hands down. The variety of savory drinks have won my heart. Nothing else can compete with that oven! I love their pizza dough, their complimentary bread, brussel sprouts, pasta and chilaquiles! My only complain is that they stop serving brunch early so check your times.

Yelp
The food is excellent and they take risks when it comes to their mixology fusion. I can't see the same about their attentiveness in service. They behave very knowledgeable and secure, but their pride is their prejudice in demeanor. What you need is waitstaff as humble as he is knowledgeable. I'll probably be coming back- there are other waiters...

Yelp
Very good, authentic Italian. Great service one of my favorite places. Pizzas are good as well as the pastas.

Yelp
I came across Caccio when I was browsing through the San Diego Magazine Best of Tijuana edition. My fiancé and I were in town so we decided to stop by and it was great! The customer service was impeccable and the food was amazing to say the least. The only suggestion I could make is if they added a chicken pasta option to the menu. My fiancé doesn't eat pork or seafood so a chicken option would of been great.

Yelp
Caccio is the new hotspot in Tijuana, the remarkable vision of its owner, Miguel Torres. The idea is a kind of easy trattoria, a bustling café where one comes with family and friends to celebrate the joy of Italian cooking. There are crisp pizzas from the same authentic ovens as used at Bruno's Pizzeria and Caffe Calabria in San Diego. There are succulent hormone free ("sin malas vibras") rotisserie chickens, topped with asparagus. Or why not a Penne Arrabiata, uniquely served with Italian sausage. The wine list is ever expanding, and Miguel will share with you some of his treasures from the nearby Valle de Guadalupe. The staff is uniformly pleasant, and I would like to single out Luis and Meynardo in that regard. Keep in mind that Caccio remains a work in progress, and we look forward to an upcoming wine bar, gelatos and sorbettos and cafe espresso. Cinco Estrellas for the idea, the execution, the professionalism and the love of the Italian kitchen that is Caccio!

Yelp
Great pizza!!! Authentic Italian dough and cooked on a stone oven...delicious! My true favorite is CALABRESE. Excellent service and atmosphere. I was there on a weekday and it was very calm and relaxing for a girls lunch date. I tried the sangria and it was perfect: Tangy, refreshing, not too sweet and you could taste the wine.

Yelp
Their pizza is delicious, nice beer selection and their macha tiramisu is to die for. The place is very nice. You can see the oven from up close and the outside sitting is very comfortable.

Yelp
Just ate here two nights ago and had some of the best pasta. Tried the carbonara, rigatoni, calamari, Caesar and chopped salad. Everything was perfect & delicious. This place was small and intimate really great atmosphere. 10/10 highly recommend for your Italian craving.

I keep going back there, everything is truly DELICIOUS. TOP quality ingredients! Wonderful ambience too! You'll love it!

Yelp
we have been driving by this place a few times and it is always busy, so we decided to give it a try. we left there with a great experience, the staff is great from start to finish. our menu (all to the center) included the: 1. Brussel Sprouts - pretty good with a bit of a lime flavor. 2. Then the orecchiette bolognese which was the most surprising out of everything - it is great, al dente and good sauce. 3. Roasted chicken, very flavorful not dry at all, it kind of disappears once you start eating it. 4.Pizza, following staff's suggestion, half Parma and half Al Tartufo (both great, but personally the Parma is by far one of the best pizzas I have had in a while) 5. Matcha Tiramisu- it was a surprise but it was something we expected, it's not too sweet and its an amazing take on the typical tiramisu. we will be back !

Ale G.

Yelp
This is my new favorite place in Tijuana. The best thing besides the Burrata salad is that the place is like 30 steps from my house. I highly recommend the burrata salad, calabria pizza and the matcha tiramisu. I've been and ordered for take out more than 50 times since they opened and today I made a reservation which they cancelled because they "forgot" the table was already reserved. I know we all make mistakes but I think cancelling reservations all of a sudden and the same day is rude and unprofessional.

Yelp
So so good ! The ceasar salad is amazing - it's a classic dressing but with a citrus twist. The pastas are delicious. I have never had chicken here but that is their specialty. Delicious Guadalupe wine. Service is always superb. Will be back again and again.

Gastón L.

Yelp
Excelent italian dishes. Fantastic pasta, napolitan style pizza, roasted chicken and good baja wine. It's a new establishment with good service. I really liked it.

Yelp
Amazing meal after the Superbowl. Great service and smiling staff. We had three pizzas, they were all spot on. We also enjoyed the beet salad and the penne. This is going to be a regular place for us!!!

Kelly G.

Yelp
Amazing food, wine, location! Tried salads, pizza, & chicken and all of it was amazing. Quality food, well prepared, fresh - check this place out asap!

Mark C.

Yelp
Fantastic food in a nutshell. I am a chef of cucina Italiana for 50 years and spend a lot of time eating in Italy so it is hard to impress me elsewhere. This place has mastered a number of dishes and I cannot wait to go back again and again. I did not even get to try their pizza but as a master pizzaiolo myself it is not hard to see that they have mastered the art themselves both in style (Napoletana) and ingredients. Their melanzane (berenjena in espanol) parm is to die for. They use a local sweet organic eggplant and fry it lightly with no breading or covering and then smother it in their incredibly delicious marinara sauce and quality cheeses. Their greek salad is so perfect with super fresh heart of romaine, sweet cherry tomatoes, delicate sliced Persian cuke, thinly sliced red onion, mild and flavorful feta, Kalamata olives, and an oregano laced dressing to die for. Lastly we had their spaghetti with 3 huge meatballs and again that perfect marinara of which next time I will ask for more sauce because it is so heavenly. The pasta could have been a bit more al dente for my taste, but overcooked it was not and am sure if i asked they would accommodate. We finished with their signature lava cake that did not disappoint. The service was excellent and attentive. This place is a winner. Forget about any other Italian restaurant in Tijuana and go to Caccio's or you will be making a mistake. We ate at the Hippodrome branch but am sure the other location is equally as good. The interior was modern, pleasant and comfortable. The tables were well spaced out for covid.

William T.

Yelp
Delicious food, excellent service and a chic atmosphere make this a delightful place to have lunch or dinner! The pizza rustica was divine and the rigatoni with vodka sauce was fabulous. Roger had pasta carbonara and said it was the best he's ever had !!! We will definitely be going back to this restaurant!!

Manuel A.

Yelp
I went to this place 1 week ago. The waiter gave me and my friend a candid welcoming, since it's new and it is booming in tijuana almost all tables are reserved and even though I reserved too we had to take a seat at the bar, no problem was found! This is something unique about mexico, we got to speak with the cooks and the chef, it made our dinner quite interesting and full with new learnings about the italian cuisine. What caught my eye the most was the length of the menu options, I loved it! My friend said that she was expecting some more options but I told her that what I have learned is that more options on a menu doesn't necessarily mean that the food will be exquisite or fresh, they have to keep the ingredients fresh or frozen because they don't know what might order someone. Small menu, fresh food. Also, I spoke with Miguel (The Chef) and recommended him on publishing a yelp page to make his place known by san diegans or other americans who come to Tijuana for the weekend or business trip, he did not know about this platform but as I can see he took my word. True leadership, always open for new ideas. We had 2 pizzas and we shared some pasta. We ordered the parma and the quattro quesos pizzas, and penne arrabiata. The quattro quesos pizza was my favorite. Unique dishes for its kind in Tijuana, you will be amazed.
