I had a very disappointing experience here on New Year’s Eve.
We paid $1,600 CAD for VIP, which turned out to be a very small setup. Roughly a 4’ x 2’ table with a short bench that seated maybe 4 people. The promoter who sold us the table told us the price included four bottles, but after payment we were told our only option was one bottle of Belvedere vodka and three bottles of champagne, with no flexibility.
When we arrived, our VIP section was already occupied and trashed. Drinks spilled everywhere, trash on the floor, and people from the general area dancing on our table. It took about 20 minutes just to clear a small space so we could even stand. The promoter collected payment outside before we ever saw the table, which felt misleading in hindsight.
The VIP area was not properly closed off, so people from the non-VIP area kept entering, drinking our alcohol, and dancing on our table multiple times throughout the night. The alcohol itself tasted extremely watered down and the supply felt limited for what we paid.
At one point, someone from the general area knocked our bucket of ice and chasers off the table, shattering glass on the floor. Staff did not replace the bucket and left broken glass around us, which felt unsafe and careless.
The music and crowd energy were decent, but it was clear they oversold tickets for New Year’s Eve to maximize profit, and the overall quality of the experience suffered badly as a result. The venue is very small and poorly managed for an event of that size.
If I return to Montreal, I will avoid this venue entirely. Definitely not worth the VIP price or the risk.
