The Best Coffee Shops In Miami Beach

"If you’re in North Beach, check out Cachito Cafe. They have a really long coffee menu with everything from a dulce de leche latte to a cortadito. But another good reason to stop by this place is for the food. Their empanadas are great and the affordable breakfast sandwiches will do the trick if your stomach has been growling from the second you woke up. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and this place works best for small groups of two or four." - ryan pfeffer

Google
Happy to find a good coffee spot on the beach finally. The beans looked specialty. Couldn’t really tell by the taste because I had a flat white. It was really nice. The Bakery is varied and I enjoyed it. Great price on the beans. Will they them home later.

Google
THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT. ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT WE ASKED FOR THE EGG TO BE WELL DONE AND THEY PREPPED IT OVER EASY AND THERE WAS NO TURNING BACK. BUT THE SANDWICH WAS GREAT. MY WIFE WANTED IT WELL BUT I HAD NO PROBLEM. WE ALSO JAD A HAM N CHEESE ENPANADA AND IT WAS SPECTACULAR. THE COFFEE WAS AMAZING.

Google
1.18.25 I've tried several cafes and bakeries while in town for 7 days, and this bakery has the best croissants. The pistachio croissant was absolutely amazing. They sell other yummy pastries and great coffee, and there's seating indoors and outdoors. Small place but very, very good.

Google
Very cute and delicious bakery! Great coffee and service for a quick stop. Guava cheese croissant was my favorite 🥐😋

Google
Coffee and service were good. My husband and I came in for a to go coffee at around 6:20pm on a Saturday. They were kind and let us use the restroom and made both an espresso and cappuccino, which were very good. Pastries on display looked fresh and delicious. Unfortunately I did not try any of them.

Google

Google
The go-to Cafe. Finding a spot to grab a good coffee/latte/etc is on everyone’s vacation list. You really don’t need to look far because Cachito is hands down some of the best coffee you will ever have. Easily walkable from the Northern South beach hotels, this spot is a true hidden gem. The staff is friendly, good amount of seating and freshly baked desserts. But you’re here for the coffee. Just unreal. The latte with a double shot of espresso is delicious. Some of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. We’ve been here two days and had it both days. Will probably be there daily for the rest of the trip. Can’t recommend this spot enough. If you’re looking for a nice place to grab a drink, this needs to be on your list. 9…10 out of 5 stars? Just amazing.

Google
Coffee was strong and bold in flavor. The breakfast combo 3 was a major disappointment. The sausage tasted like rubber tires and potatoes were soft and not crispy, bacon was overcooked. On the other hand the pastries were light, flaky and a delight to eat.

Yelp
LOVED this find on our beach day. We tried multiple empanadas, including mushroom and chicken. I will say the chicken was a little dry for my taste, BUT it was stuffed full and the flavor was great. I got the dulce de leche latte and then influenced one of my friends to go back for the same drink because it was that good. The only thing I dislike about traveling is finding gems like this that I may never get to visit again. If you're in the area, definitely check it out!!

Yelp
Nice little cafe in the heart of North Beach. I tried their signature iced dulce de leche latte and it was a bit pricey ($8.25) for a regular-sized flavored latte. While it tasted good, the latte overall wasn't anything special, truthfully. However, the humita (corn and cheese) empanada was excellent. There were about ten varieties of empanadas available when I stopped by in the morning, and they all looked delicious. Next time, I would try a hot drink--and, of course, get another empanada or two!

Yelp
Came here around 12:00pm today and it was packed! Everyone knew where to go ;) Chose this place because of the ratings on Yelp and they were right about it! Simple, quaint, and little cafe spot. Good menu options for food and drinks. Pastries also looked delish! I got the bacon burrito and it was scrumptious... the potatoes were soft, the eggs were fluffy, and the bacon was crispy. Also got the Dulce de leche latte and it was the perfect amount of sweetness not too sweet. Staff was very nice and friendly. Would definitely come back here.

Yelp
They make an amazing Cortado. The flavor and presentation was good. Service was great. The atmosphere was nice. They have a unisex bathroom. They offer breakfast options.

Yelp
The food here is excellent. The staff is very friendly and what no problem a little hidden gem!

Yelp
This was on my wishlist for a while and I finally got to go. Their food is just soooo good!!' The humita and the ham & cheese empanada were delicious. Seating inside and outside!! Street parking only

Yelp
They had me at Iced Dulce de Leche Latte...I ordered with 2% milk and it was phenomenal. Not too sweet but definitely can taste the Dulce de Letche. They had many bakery items and all looked delicious. I opted for the egg, bacon and cheese on their homemade bun. The bun was so fresh and delicious. This is a place to stay and enjoy and a rush grab and go so don't expect rapid service. But take away is an option. Small corner cafe but seating is available inside and outside.

Yelp
After accidentally boarding a trolley going the opposite direction from where we thought we were headed; my new-found solo traveler friend from Canada and I, had stumbled upon this gem! We were absolutely elated for the mistake! If we hadn't boarded the opposite direction, we would have never met Sabrina's jovial personality who introduced me to an amazing Oat-milk Cortadito! The cookie that was recommended was just as delicious! Since it was a bit breezy outside, the cozy and toasty ambiance was equally as welcoming! THANK-YOU, SABRINA for the amazing guest service, drink, and listening to our stories!!!!!!

Yelp
Super tasty food, good portion size - not massive and not dainty - with cozy ambiance that really makes you feel like you've found a great neighborhood gem

Yelp
Don't order for delivery! They're creating additional fraudulent charges to orders after they're placed. I just placed an order like I usually do, order from here at least once a week. And noticed they charge me extra because I added a note on the order to remind them to toast the bread. It's just an obvious effort to steal a few extra dollars for something they do for free every single day. They tried to charge it as an "additional item" which is wrong and fraudulent. Needless to say I won't be ordering from here ever again. I hope the extra couple of bucks was worth losing a customer over it. Oh and Uber Eats refunded me for the fraudulent charge.

Yelp
Biked here to grab some breakfast + a good cup of coffee. I was a basic biddie and ordered an oat milk latte with an egg, spinach and tomato sandwich on their homemade buns. The coffee was great! The sandwich on the other hand... although I can truly appreciate the fact that the egg mixed with the spinach was a decent amount and Fresh at that. I mean it when I say fresh too! The buns on the other hand had a rather tough exterior which was quite disappointing. If that had been fresh out the oven buns/toast it would have set the sandwich off. Sadly it was not. I ended up eating just the egg off the bun. The staff was friendly. The interior was a very decent size also.

Yelp
Everything down to the ambience was perfect. Absolutely fell in love with this whole in the wall bakery. Had a bacon egg and cheese croissant, it was something so simple yet so well done !

Yelp
5 stars for an excellent decaf latte! Sandwich left something to be desired. Pressed juice 10/10 Will return!

Yelp
Husband and I went for a morning coffee date and got two dulce de leche iced lattes and two of their massive croissants. Everything was amazing including the customer service. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good coffee

Yelp
This is such a little gem that you may just pass it on the way to beach. Before you head to beach, grab a little breakfast or lunch. The moment you go through the doors, you realize that you are in for a treat. The service was great and the energy of the place is lovely. They have fresh food that is delicious. I had breakfast while my cousin had lunch and both meals were delicious. We were able to enjoy our meals and the vibe was lovely...we stayed there for two hours. Can't wait to go back

Yelp
Sweet spot in Miami Beach for a lovely latte, delicious pastries and friendly service.

Yelp
Use to love coming here. Small coffee shop. With home roasted coffee and baked treats. Service was friendly and inviting. Come early it's a popular spot with the locals
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent coffee and great prices. I tried an oat milk latte as well as a soy latte. Both very good. Only downside is their large is only 12oz. Service was fast and friendly. Pastries look good too!

Yelp
This place was awesome. It seemed like all the locals came here. I went here on a Sunday morning and it was so busy but they handled it very well. I came here because it was close to my hotel but honestly didn't disappoint. I love when I can get fresh juice!!
google avatar

Shirene T.

Yelp
I live close by so decided to come for breakfast. Cute spot on the corner and it was busy! They had all sorts of pastries and a variety of breakfast items and coffees. A bit pricey but given the location a block away from the beach, it's expected. Had a bagel with eggs and cheese, cortadito and the combo #1. Nothing extravagant but I was hungry lol, so I didn't even get to take a picture of the food!

Yelp
SUPURB!!! First time here this morning and I loved everything I got. I just wanted something quick and a matcha before my hair apt that was one or two blocks away. I gotta sweet matcha latte and a mushroom empanada and a spinach. Tasted so fresh! I might go back today and get another for my mom to try. A new go to spot for me when I'm in the area

Yelp
Cachito is a cute and quaint little breakfast shop. I can appreciate uniqueness when I see it. The design is cozy and has a variety of photos along the wall that give this place a family feel. Breakfast burrito was so delicious. It had eggs, cheese, bacon and potatoes. I ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo! Very unlike me... As far as coffee goes, I wasn't impressed. I ordered the latte with dulce de leche flavoring. VERY milky. I'm aware that a latte is more milk than coffee but I almost felt I was just drinking milk with a splash of coffee. So, it has potential but I would recommend asking for more ice and less milk. Staff was pleasant, especially Carla. Love when I'm assisted with a smile. Overall, would return for the food but not the coffee.
google avatar

Lourdes A.

Yelp
Very nice place! It was packed, but the service is super fast! The croissant and danish were fresh and delicious, as well as, the coffee. The coffee doesn't have any bitter taste and the offer decaf . They also have non dairy milk. Environment is quaint. It's were the locals g

Yelp
Great empanadas! We went all around looking for them and someone suggested going to Cachito's so glad we did.
google avatar

Yelp
The first thing that comes to mind is $7 orange juice. This bakery is pretty expensive, but everything in Miami was a few dollars more than in Maryland. I also had their de leche iced coffee and it was packed with sweetness (a little too much) and chicken wrap. Both items were okay, but again, cost more than ot was worth.
google avatar

Vojislav Z.

Yelp
You gotta check out this local coffee spot--it's like my second home! The folks there are so friendly, they practically know my order by heart. Coffee is amazing and they have really good pastries too!
google avatar

Cristina P.

Yelp
Super cute cafe! Some of the best coffee and espresso I've ever had. Bacon egg and cheese sandwich was delicious! I got mine on a croissant and my Bf got his on a bagel. Both very filling! We also got some pastries and savory treats to take with us! All of those were fantastic as well! Best guava and cheese croissant I've ever had!

Yelp
We were in the area and stumbled on Cachito. Looked very cute and good reviews so decided to get breakfast. We ordered two breakfast croissants. They're supposed come with two eggs, cheddar on croissant. I also ordered an iced latte. Online, the sandwiches are $5.00 but in the cafe they're $8. Maybe this is a recent change and they haven't updated it online but it's quite a hefty bump. Coffee was around $6. The sandwiches were not the best. It was not cheddar cheese, but American cheese. Big difference in taste and quality. The eggs were very over cooked and the croissant was really greasy and buttery. The iced coffee was pretty good. Staff was really nice so that was a plus. I understand things have increased in price, especially in Miami but charging an additional $3 for that sandwich is not worth it. Maybe if it was better quality but not for what I had. Will give it another try and order something else next time but I don't think I'll be ordering this breakfast sandwich again.

Yelp
Great coffee and Argentinian baked empanadas. The sweet treats are delicious too and the service is great.

Yelp
I can't believe it took me 3 months of living in the neighborhood to discover this gem. I love local coffee shops with character and ambiance. Clean, good service, tasty latte. I found my new spot.

Yelp
Our favorite breakfast place in north beach. Quick friendly service. A tiny place with outdoor seating

Tanaire M.

Yelp
Food is delicious! Something for everybody on the menu. Pancakes, lox bagels, ham cheese sandwhiches, avocado toast, coffee galore! Fresh in house made juice! Can I say more?! Ohhh and pastries that we didn't try but they looked amazing and almost everyone coming in bought one of those picture worthy' pastries. Last but not least, service was great!
google avatar

Vancy S.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years. It's the best place for Empanadas! The owners are always friendly and I see the same regulars. It is what I call neighborhood place. They also have delicious breakfast sandwiches, juices, and don't forget the pastries!
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
I had their iced coffee and chicken empanada. The coffee was quite good, however the empanada was dry. The cafe was very cute and I loved the aesthetic.

Yelp
I would not feed my dog here. I went in and said I needed more potatoes and thought that three bitty potato slices were a bit less for what I paid (15$). The manager told me to my face that I needed to pay more and that is how it came. Do NOT go here unless you are a Miami native and used to this overpriced garbage. I paid 80$ for my family and they could not finish most of their food.. I would give this zero stars. I HATE this place! I felt cheated and disrespected as a customer. I must add that I asked for a manager and the girl behind the counter said she was a manager. Then she asked me to not be rude since she only worked there. What?! I was not rude. I just expressed my dissatisfaction. If you are a manager, you need to be a bit more proactive and take care of your customers. Look at the photo and tell me if you would be happy with those potatoes.

Yelp
Wowza, did this place surprise me ot what ? First off, the housemade empanada are great. They're not your typical empanada. The shell is a puffy pastry, which I absolutely love. I grabbed the chicken one and wow was it juicy. Its pulled chicken with a sauce sofrito! I am in love ! The guava and cheese croissant is a must get. Flakey croissant, stuffed with guava is something I want to have for breakfast for everyday! However, the real reason why I came here ? The God damn breakfast sandwich. Egg n cheese on a house made bun. Perfection. The roll is buttery and has a flight crunch. Egg is not dry. Right amount of cheese. I grabbed one of their green Juices and it helped my stomach and hangover so well its a steep 7 00 but tasted amazing.
google avatar

Ruby C.

Yelp
Best empanada ever!! And I love empanada and have tried a lot lol Very cute cafe with good menu selections and fresh coffee. Would come back everyday for the corn empanada if I lived here
google avatar

Cindy G.

Yelp
We found this gem of a café with very reasonable prices and good quality food. Service was very attentive and quick. The latte was especially creamy with the oat milk. The tomato, spinach and egg sandwich was very filling with their homemade bun and it came out very hot and fresh.
google avatar

Leland C.

Yelp
Excellent homage pastries and coffees. Had double caffe cordato, fresh orange juice, and omelet. Toast was toasted Cuban bread, and potatoes were hand cut and fried. Only down side was omelet was a little skinny.

Ana K.

Yelp
food was very good ; made to order. i ordered the breakfast combo #3 potatoes cooked till golden, eggs not too wet but also not too dry, bacon made crispy and toasted Cuban bread. Service was very quick and the workers were very nice. Cappuccino was tasty and the orange juice was amazing , freshly squeezed.

Michele S.

Yelp
Rude staff!!! Horrible!!! They made a latte with all milk as in milk filled up to the top Of a large cup; when I tasked the "latte" I complained and asked them to remake it they refused. This is not how you run a business plus most don't speak English. And no manager on duty!!! Don't come here
google avatar

Robin H.

Yelp
I love this little cafe. They have good dark American coffee. Their empanadas are baked not fried & they are so good! Prices are what you expect for Miami Beach.
google avatar

B G.

Yelp
My favorite! I've been going there for years. I always buy my freshly rosted coffee beans (single origin) from them. It tastes fantastic, love! Food and snacks are delicious, their empanadas, alfajores, migas and of course their almond croissants (my mom's favorite). We receive oustanding customer service every time we visit, either to enjoy a delicious cup of coffe or for brunch, the owner and his staff always make us feel appreciated.
google avatar

Brenda B.

Yelp
Great service, delicious food, and chill vibe. The cortadito is a must! We will be back again!

Yelp
1st time here. Awesome friendly service. The most incredible empanadas. With great coffee! Sitting outside enjoying the fantastic Miami sunshine.

Yelp
Visiting Miami and stumbled upon this shop while walking around. Loved the empanadas and coffee

Yelp
This is a cute small coffee and bakery in North Bay Village. It's 2 doors down from my dentist so I go here before or after my appointment to have a mocha. The coffee they use here is superb. My mocha always comes out piping hot, silky and strong. It doesn't even need sugar. Aside from good coffee, they also offer breakfast sandwiches, pastries, cookies, and empanadas. My husband and I were just here yesterday and we tried 3 empanadas. One chicken, beef and spinach. They were decent but we think the beef needs more seasoning and they all need to be a little warmer. They were about $3 each and our coffee drinks were around $5 each. I also like the atmosphere here. It's relaxing and not too busy but they do get a line of people around 9am. I think most are from the local businesses in the area. The staff here is also very courteous. They will bring your coffee and food to your table if you dine in. There are adequate tables inside considering the size of the space. Parking is only street parking but it's affordable in the area. About $1.50 an hour. For now, I can give this place 4 stars until I tried the rest of the pastries and sandwiches but I do like coming here when I visit my dentist. Will be back again when I go to my next appointment :)
google avatar

Katrina B.

Yelp
In the pictures on Yelp it shows coffee in real mugs but we could only have a paper cup. They do not have fresh cream for coffee. The environment was very small with a whole in the ceiling. Prices were blocked off. They serve us a $16 breakfast in a to go plastic container when we were sitting at a table. This was their normal service! The service made me feel like a number. We walked on the boardwalk 30 min to get this? Sad to say, I am very disappointed and wish that I had gone back to Umbria. Coffee was ok. Food was ok but the environment ruined it for me. The bathroom had no paper towels which is fine to restock, but they just don't put any out at all. And when I mentioned it, the lady looked at me and said nothing, like I was speaking Chinese.

Yelp
I was staying in the area for a few days and I love checking out local coffee shops. I opened up my trusted Yelp app, found this spot quickly, and decided to give it a try one morning when I also had an appetite for some breakfast. I arrived to find an adorable café full of locals, visitors, and tasty treats and coffee. I ordered a soy latte and an egg sandwich with cheese. After paying up front I grabbed a table and admired the local art hanging on the walls. It didn't take long for everything to be prepared and my latte was exactly what I needed to get my day started. Now, I was planning on just spending the day on the beach, but I was out late the night before and definitely needed a pick-me-up. The coffee was smooth and flavorful. I drank it down to the very last drop. My breakfast sandwich was also enormous. The egg was cooked well, and the cheese melted nicely, but the bun the sandwich was on was a little dry... maybe just a little too big for the sandwich. Overall, I can easily see why this spot has so many reviews. It's authentic, serves freshly roasted coffee, offers sweet and savory food options, the staff was friendly and simply put, it just screams local! I'm so glad I found this little gem.
