15 Spots to Cure Cacio e Pepe Cravings in Miami

"If it’s the namesake dish, it’s bound to be good. At Cacio e Pepe Italian in North Miami, the cacio e pepe is tossed tableside in an aged cheese wheel before twisting into a large mountain on each diner’s plate." - Amber Love Bond

Another "Daddy-Daughter Date" along with her BFF. Superb in every way. Excellent service, food served impeccably with humor. Octopus was memorable. The green stuffed ravioli was delicious. Veal marsala was a home run, fragrant and rich. Dessert tray and the tiramisu were off the chart. Everything we tried was either fresh or expertly prepared. Recommended.

I’m sorry to leave this review but we pay good money and extra tips for this unknown Italian restaurant because its so close by the house but EVERY SINGLE TIME WE ASK for them to BAKE THE BREAD NOT BURN THEY SERVE IT TOO US EXTRA BURNT! It’s almost like the chef and owner do it on purpose. After we leave from pick up order they ignore our calls. Idk why it’s so hard for this Italian restaurant to bake homemade bread naturally without burning it every single time for the past year. Here’s a photo for paying extra for the side bread

Very cute place, always on point food. The bread and cheese pasta are a very special detail.

Hidden Gem in a Strip Mall! Everything was great at this restaurant, but I will start, as our experience started, with the bread: crisp, buttery, and addictive. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly service that makes you feel at home. The menu has all the classics at very reasonable prices. I had the spaghetti Caccio e Pepe and it was creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It has outdoor seating and it’s great for date night, a family dinner, or casual get-together. Definitely coming back!

Google
Impeccable food and service, cozy atmosphere. I was looking for a really good carbonara in Miami and I have been to so many places; I found it right here! And the pesto, shrimp and mushroom linguine was absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent too so I cannot fault this place. You would never know it was in a strip mall, it’s hidden away in a corner, really classy and beautiful.

Google
Our experience was good, we only came because I wanted to try the spaghetti that is placed inside the cheese. For me, who doesn't like hot pepper, I thought there was a lot of ground pepper; my friend who likes very hot pepper thought it was delicious. The service was okay and the place is nice.

Cacio e Pepe is an informal Italian restaurant located in an outdoor mall. The menu consists of authentic Italian cuisine. Once arrived, we got seated immediately. The inside dining area was very small and cozy. The atmosphere was traditional Southern Italian and had an old-school theme to it. When the server came over to our drink orders, we were disappointed to find they did not have a bar, so the only alcoholic beverages you could order were wine and beer. We ordered our appetizers, and they came out within a reasonable time. We ordered Carpaccio, Eggplant parmesan, Calamari, and Burrata for appetizers. The appetizers were good, but for some reason, we never received the Burrata. Our entrees then came out later, and they forgot someone's meal. The food was alright but wasn't anything special. The restaurant did have a good selection of vegetarian options. After our entrees, the server rudely interrupted our conversation by waving the dessert menu in our faces and yelling at us, asking what we wanted. At this point, we asked for the bill and left. Overall, I would choose another restaurant. The service was alright, there was no bar, the food was overpriced, the atmosphere was average, and the food didn't stand out over other high-end Italian restaurants.

Wow what a let down. My husband and I came with our daughter because we love Italian and decided to try this new spot in our area. Our server Jose E, was incredibly rude from the get go. It felt like we were judged from the second we walked in the door. My husband and I were in the business for a LONG time and have both managed restaurants. We sat down and both ordered a peroni and a buratta appetizer to start. He an accidentally placed my beer near the baby which is no biggie, I don't fault him for that. But I went to move the beer further away and didn't realize the tables pushed together were uneven and the entire beer spilled over. I told him about the spill and he just kind of walked away. Didn't offer to help with napkins or to bring another beer. I had to reach over to another table to grab a napkin and place setting to replace the drenched one. I then asked for another beer. He continued to ignore us (mind you we were the ONLY table inside the restaurant) there was one other table outside. While the appetizer was delicious we decided to ask for the bill and cancel our food because we just started to feel uncomfortable. He brings the tab and charges me for the beer that was spilled and I had to ask him to remove it. It's unfortunate because the food was really good quality and yummy but the service was beyond terrible and distasteful. Don't recommend because of this.

Yelp
First thing only 1 other table being occupied, I should have trusted my gut when I saw this! The server was pleasant enough suggested to us calamari right off the bat Came back and sorry they didn't have! So my grandaughter said she would have the octopus when he offered instead! After 1 bite it was so rancid I am still feeling ill. We had also ordered ribeye steak server said was very tender , first of all it was a well done strip steak, which could not get knife through. Son Ordered gf pasta that was gummy and stuck together, that he said tasted like chicks up Unfortunately I would never go back which is sad we like to support local restaurants. Even when leaving still no one else there. Time to close this restaurant!

Yelp
We celebrated my son's birthday here this year. He wanted Italian and I wanted to try out this restaurant. We called and asked if reservations were needed and I was told yes so I made a reservation. When I arrived at the restaurant (15 min early) there were only two tables occupied so I was a bit confused on why I need a reservation, but ok no problem. We placed our appetizer and food order. The only issue we had was that my husband ordered Churrasco that was on the menu and what he received what looked like a rib eye steak. My husband said it tasted more like a pork chop. We called the waiter over and he said we had two choices return the food and order something else or get a free dessert. My husband hates returning food so we took his meal home and got a free dessert. Service was okay no issues there. It was not a bad time, but it wasn't also a great time.

Yelp
4.5/5 One of the best pastas I have ever had! The rigatoni was not overcooked and the vodka sauce was a creamy delight. I didn't know complimentary bread could get any better than this honestly. It came with a delicate cheese spread but I opted for dipping my bread in the vodka sauce. The was only one man working in the front. After I sat down and placed my order, the food came out in 4 minutes. The service was rather quick and efficient. However, there were two girls that were finishing their meal as I walked in, leaving me, the only person left. I'd love to come back again if I find myself in the area again. Food was fulfilling and worth the $25!

Yelp
After a long day unpacking and building furniture, Amber and I wanted a hearty meal and Italian seemed fitting. We googled some neat by places and Caccio e Pepe being Amber and my go to dish we decided this place sounded perfect if they named their restaurant after it. We were not disappointed. The presentation was table side and the portion was so big that we had split it and still didn't finish. We also ordered the muscles and clams which were also amazing along with a bit of wine for a perfect evening!.

Yelp
Oh my goodness. This place is phenomenal. If you're looking for some good authentic Italian food.. this is 100% the place. I'm surprised it doesn't have more business!! Let's start off with the most important aspect of a restaurant: the food. They give you the most delicate bread with an amazing dip.. not sure what it's called but I loved the immaculate flavors it gave my taste buds. For my entree, I got the 4 cheese Gnocchi with chicken with some sprinkled parmesan flakes. With each bite, I was transported to culinary heaven, feeling almost as if I was floating. I've had excellent gnocchi back in my home state.. but this.. just made it seem bland. It was truly remarkable. My father got the fettuccine alfredo and from what I could get a taste of, it was excellent. I could cry because I'll probably never be able to come back here since I reside in plainness michigan Next, let's move on to the ambiance. The decor is so authentic and well-thought-out that I feel like I've been transported to a cozy Italian villa! Lastly, the service. Everyone is incredibly kind, polite, and gentle, which truly enhances the dining experience. Good bye.

Yelp
Confused! They don't have a full bar , they only offer wine , beers and prosecco. We went for a late lunch, we order fried calamari and it was tasteless, we had to add pepper and salt to the sauce to make it ok, my husband order spaghetti bolognese (he asked for them to give him spaghetti instead of the original pasta they offer with bolognese) this plate was better but also nothing remarkable. Service was good , ambience was ok , we were the only costumers at the restaurant so there was no ambience, nice decor and good music.

Yelp
Second time back we really like the food it's nice little cozy place, very quiet mellow music mostly wine .

Yelp
I had high expectations and was eager to try their menu selections, especially the short rib ravioli. This location is not open, website is still active but restaurant is not
google avatar

Lindsay Y.

Yelp
We chose this restaurant due to the fact it was named Cacio e Pepe because we both adore that dish. I wasn't expecting much, but again this is another example of a pretty establishment with below average food and horrible service. We ordered a coke and wine and had to ask our server 4x for the coke. We finally got to ordering and tried the Cacio e Pepe, chicken parm and the cheese ravioli. There was honestly nothing special about the flavor of any of the bland entrees and the pasta was over cooked. I wouldn't even call it average. Not worth dining here due the hefty price-tag and awful service.
google avatar

Leslie B.

Yelp
The food was very good. I had the polenta with mushrooms. Others had chicken parm, everyone's food was delicious. Prices were high for a strip mall restaurant. Service was not the best. Not very hospitable, not very attentive. We had limoncello, which is normally served gratuitously after an expensive Italian meal. Nope. 12.00 a shot. The bill comes with gratuity already added, there were 6 of us.. that's ok, but they still had the 22%, 25% and 30%! (Never have I seen 30 before) by the total as if there was no pgratuity added. I will go back for the polenta, but not for a nice dinner with friends. Too many places to eat in miami that offers the same price with better service and nicer ambiance.
google avatar

Gladys N.

Yelp
Too pricey for what it is. We order two glasses of wine and then share a clam appetizer and a cacio e Pepe spaghetti. Then finished with two coffees and a tiramisu and we paid $60 per person. I come from Italian heritage and also married Italian and the food was ok. The server was really nice and we sit outside and is cute but the shopping mall where it is located doesn't help.
google avatar

Julien H.

Yelp
The restaurant has a nice boutique restaurant ambiance and the service was perfect. We were a bit disappointed with the food. It was ok but kind of lacking for the price point and the expectations we had from the vibe of the restaurant. We had the walnut gnocchis ( same sauce as the one they give with bread) and the seafood pastas.
google avatar

Jays L.

Yelp
This place was phenomenal. No one's gonna lie to me and tell me this place is not amazing. You gotta try the. Cacio e Pepe ..
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
Went here for New Year's day. Wasn't too packed, the place is cute and cozy. Food was good! Beef carpaccio isn't what I'm used to, but it wasn't bad. The bread and parmesan-butter spread is great! But if you ask for more, they charge. Just FYI. They also do not have a kid's menu - they offer a half portion of pasta and sauce, but not meat sauce. They specifically made me aware it was either white or red sauce. My cacio e pepe was good and my husband's penne alla vodka was honestly great! Service was their biggest downfall though. Our server was not welcoming at all, my husband actually thought the guy had an attitude. Also didn't seem to be willing to accommodate us for minor things we asked for. Food was good but probably won't go back.
google avatar

Nat H.

Yelp
This was so good on a short trip. I got the bolognese and the pasta was so very fresh. My husband got the spaghetti carbonara- super delish. I can't wait to go back. Italian family was cheerful. Drinks were perfectly crisp and cool. Wish I would have taken photos but we were just enjoying the evening together.

Yelp
Came to have lunch with friends and had an ok experience... ordered the cesar salad, average at best... lettuce, some cesar sauce, bought sliced parm cheese and some anchovies.... As main, had the parmegian wheel... the pasta was overcooked and too much sauce... so it was over powered... Bread is VERY good!!

Richelle R.

Yelp
Food is amazing and service was excellent. The bread was to die for. We ordered calamari - real fresh. Carbonara was delicious, veal and gnocchi were delicious. It is a bit pricey but it was worth it.

Faith H.

Yelp
We had a really memorable lunch with friends a few days ago, and the food was really tasty. We shared a bunch of appetizers and the restaurant's amazing pecorino and Romano pasta swirled in the huge cheese wheel. The desserts were equally delicious. We found the service to be excellent. Aldana was charming and attentive. The ambiance, prices, and noise level were all fine. We'll be back soon.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the Cacio e Pepe is prepared tableside which is fun to see. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice. We had reservations for an inside table but when we arrived they sat outside and near the parking lot which was unfortunate. The service was slow. They forgot to bring us water, bread, and the wine until we reminded them a few times. Lastly they forgot to process our bill and it took a long time to get our credit card back. To be fair, the restaurant was super busy and they were overwhelmed. Despite the small inconvenience- the manger who was our server was very polite and friendly. I would go back another time to try it when it is less busy. The food is worth it!!
google avatar

Colby K.

Yelp
Service was generally bad for the average price of the food. Long wait to get check, incorrect items on the split check, and even a $3 charge for bread that they brought to the table without asking. Water wasn't filled as frequently as we would have liked considering we sat outside. Food was decent though and worth what I paid.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and service, inside and outside area were beautifully decorated I came on a nice date night with my boyfriend and we loved everything....loved our server BOJANA please ask for her, she truly is a special soul and treated us like family she makes this restaurant a joy to come to will be back. Wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars just for Bojana's service

Yelp
Food was great quality for small quite Italian restaurant! Service was great making the meal and experience enjoyable E Pepe !

Ally G.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are visiting for spring break and we decided to give this place a try. The place is super nice and very cute. We were the only ones in there and the service was amazing. We ordered the beef carpaccio and it was delicious! We split both the pastas we ordered which were the linguine vongole and the rigatoni alla vodka and added mushrooms. Both of these pastas were amazing. We would both definitely recommend this place!
google avatar

Avesta S.

Yelp
Very cute hole in the wall Italian gem tucked away in a plaza. My bf and I were looking for last minute dinner plans on a Friday night. We were craving authentic Italian but with a casual atmosphere. Not only did cacio e Pepe measure up but we also felt at home and received generous portions at an insanely fair price. Huge shout out to the incredibly passionate server we had with the beautiful Serbian accent. Her recommendations were accurate but her kind and genuine disposition were so deeply appreciated. Now onto the food...the star of the night was the four cheese walnut gnocchi. Pasta can easily miss the mark when it's overpowering with sauce or even salty but this was cooked to perfection. The truffle pasta was a great IG moment accompanied with the infamous cheese wheel! This is a great spot for locals or anyone looking for a low key Italian dinner with large groups or even an intimate date.

Yelp

Yelp
Very cute place in north miami with great food. Neb always welcomes you with a smile and the specials are usually really good. Warm bread with this garlic paste is delish and good wine selection. Pastas are very good and generous portions, caccio Pepe done table side. Octopus is very good also, must try.

Yelp
Came here for Valentine's Day dinner with my boyfriend and had the best experience! The service was great & our waiter was very attentive & even brought me a rose at the beginning of our dinner. We started off with two glasses of wine & the antipasto to share. I got the Cacio e Pepe & my boyfriend got the short rib ravioli. We both loved our entrees and I especially loved that the Cacio e Pepe came in a cheese wheel! Definitely recommend this place for a special occasion or date night!
google avatar

Samy H.

Yelp
Very mediocre. Ordered the following : cacio e Pepe fried calamari Filet mignon Pellegrino . 1st off. Calamari was like chewing gum. Terrible. The sauce was good, but my wife had to put lemon and salt. Tons of it. 2nd the cacio e Pepe, doesn't live up to what the pasta is meant to be, 1 tone of flavor. We decided to sit outside and the Pellegrino was brought out and left out instead of having it in a ice bucket. By the time we went back it was super hot. The filet mignon was good, we had to send it back for being undercooked. Besides that, it's in a small shopping center which kind of threw us off.
google avatar

Kateryna U.

Yelp
Love this place! Almost every week stopping by for lunch!Cacio e Pepe always serves great food with fresh ingredients!service always fast and profesional! Love their octopus and cesar salad with home made sauce! Dessert Segafredo is one love! Yuuum!

Yelp

Chen H.

Yelp
Everything was so good, waiters were super nice and the food was incredible. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo and gnocchi and it was the best I've ever had and I've been to a lot of Italian restaurants. The fries were extraordinary with a type of sauce we've never seen before but it was the best thing I've ever tasted. We also ordered a salad and there was a little too much dressing but it was pretty good. Overall, best restaurant I've ever been to.
google avatar

Rickey S.

Yelp
The food here was really good. We were a party of 3 and shared the Caesar salad and calamari as appetizers. The calamari breading was crisp, not soggy or overcooked. We all got the cacio e pepe which they assemble in the cheese wheel next to your table, a fun dining experience. The reason I am giving this place three stars is that the service was awful. I arrived 10 minutes before my friends and was offered a glass of water. I expected the server to come back in 3-5 minutes with the water pitcher so I could order my glass of wine as well. She did not come back until 12 minutes later with the water when my friends arrived. The trend continued throughout the meal. As we were wrapping up our appetizers, we had to wave her down to order our entrees. It got to the point where one of us had to get up and go inside to wave her down to order another round. Later, I again had to get up to get her to bring us the check. I am a slow eater and enjoy long leisurely meals. But leaving customers unattended for long periods of time when they need their water refilled, want to order more wine and food, is just bad service business.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
You have to try to short rib ravioli! And after dinner and a very good recommended bottle of wine the dessert was delicious.
google avatar

Jaclyn G.

Yelp
Ambiance Not the best- in strip mall- cute little corner but similar to being in italy whole in wall Service No liquor license only wines- no kosher wine options. They need to be less rushed and actually show you the show. We ordered specific pasta dish for them to make in front of us and he did in corner and didn't tell us and was too late after. Ruined the whole experience for me. Food Great really authentic tasting and unique loved the gnocchi and sashimi platters most on menu! But everything was delicious. Price - good can't complain reasonable!

Maria V.

Yelp
We went to Cacio & Pepe restaurant at North Miami, Fl location for lunch . We reserved a table for 5. restaurant was empty , nobody there just us . we stayed for long time , after finishing desert and coffee we stayed talking and enjoying our thanksgiving lunch . the waiter (Manny) came to me and told me : pls we need you to leave because we need table for many people that are coming?! There was nobody at the restaurant? That was very rude . I will never come back here and I will not recommend it anymore to none of my friends . Food was great ! But service needs improvement or management training or supervision.
google avatar

Anastasia Z.

Yelp
I just love Italian places even though don't like Italian food that much. But I know, I will never be disappointed in Italian restaurant. Anyways, we were a group of ten ladies. Everybody was happy with the food, with drinks and with the service, which is surprising :) I had salmon, it was excellent. My friend had shrimp and pasta something. She liked it so much, ordered one to go. We were sitting inside. They do have outside tables also. The place was not overcrowded but comfortably filled. Nice atmosphere, nice music. Beautiful time. No hype, just traditional Italian place. Recommended for a nice quiet tasty dinner. Parking also ;)
google avatar

Neyda V.

Yelp
Great authentic Italian restaurant. All the food was great. Ordered short rib ravioli, carbonara, cannoli, espresso. Food could have been a little hotter and service could have been a little better, that's why I am giving it a 4 stars, but you cannot find food this tasty everywhere. I will definitely come back.

Lily M.

Yelp
I think Cacio e Pepe is the best-kept secret in the Sunny Isles area. It's not pricey, and you get great-tasting food that makes you want to go back. Everyone always wants to go to the restaurants with the big names, but they are missing out.
google avatar

Josh H.

Yelp
While i was in Florida, i was trying to find a good Italian restaurant and this place popped up This place has a very nice atmosphere along with great food and drinks, I ended up getting the Cacio Pepe dish and it was amazing This is definitely worth the trip if you're in the area and the service was great along with the prices.

Justine B.

Yelp
i took my mother here and we had an amazing time! food was great and so was service. the pasta is great

Yelp
Excellent traditional Italian restaurant. Great food, service and atmosphere. One of my favorite places to go. The tiramisu a must.

Yelp
First time trying authentic Italian food, was definitely very different then our usual Olive Garden and we were very pleased. The staff was very attentive, we had about 3 different people checking on us. One complaint I would have is the COVID-19 precautions. When we first got there the seating was all spaced out but when more people were showing the spacing was all gone. Some staff were not wearing masks or wearing them below the nose (not our waiter who was great!). Customers who were meeting someone already seated inside just rolled in without masks on. I completely understand how hard covid has been on people but I'd just hope they do better. I would also like to add, the table I was was falling apart a little-- I'll attach a picture of it. Overall -- I'd visit again.

Hakuna M.

Yelp
A well deserved 4 stars for food, and 5 stars for exceptional service. The complimentary house bread was worth the slightly longer than usual wait - Nice crunch on the outside and moist & fluffy on the inside. Grilled octopus - fork tender and sat atop a hummus/paprika sauce. Cacio e Pepe - spaghetti was tossed & mixed in a cheese wheel with black pepper. Basic, which in itself allows the cheese and pepper to shine through its own right. Doneness of the noodles is what I refer to as "Americanized Al dente", as a real Italian Al dente would have a slightly powdery core in every strand. They are also dog friendly at the outdoor seating. Recommended if you're in the Aventura area.

Melanie S.

Yelp
Ambiance was very nice and service was very good. Seated quickly. I ordered a glass of Prosecco. Which was very good, the wine list was reasonably priced and had a good selection offered. The complimentary bread with the parmesan butter was also very good. The endive and gorgonzola salad was also nice and fresh and refreshing. The pistachio panna cotta was also light and refreshing. Where it went bad for me was on my favorite dish and the reason I came to this place the Cacio e Pepe. By far the worst I have had in Miami. The pasta is 1. Not homemade it tastes like $3 boxed spaghetti... and 2. Even though the presentation makes it seem like it will be delicious it is a fraud. They use a beautiful cheese wheel.:: and guess what I didn't even taste Parmesan. It was incredibly watery and lacked taste. 3. I could have made it better at home with the Trader Joes brand for less than $5 a bag that served 4 people. It was a HUGE disappointment. They need to change their name or do some research at some of Miami's most exclusive Italian restaurants to taste what a really good Cacio e Pepe tastes like. If you will visit, come for the wine and ambiance and order appetizers. Whatever you do, do not order the Cacio e Pepe.. needless to say it will be my last visit and I feel bad because the owner seemed to know his regulars and the service was great. They really need to improve in their talent in the kitchen and recipe for Cacio e Pepe. The couple next to me was also complaining about their pasta lacking cheese and flavor and it was a different pasta dish.

Margarer E.

Yelp
Staff was very nice. Food was great. Salads are large enough to share. Only negative is that they only serve beer & wine, no liquor.
google avatar

Alexandra S.

Yelp
Found this place on yelp for my birthday party. Got every one of my requests honored. All of the preordered appetizers arrived on time. All entrees were timed perfectly. The wine list is small but excellent. The food is absolutely delicious! Can't wait to come back. The staff is caring and energetic. Love love love!
google avatar

Sapir B.

Yelp
Food took forever to arrive. When it did it was okay. We got free wine to make up for it but honestly it just ain't it. It's good... not great and Deff way too expensive for what it is. The pasta isn't freshly made (or so it seems). Anyway, you should go to casa mia instead it's wayyyy better and more authentic :)

Yelp
Cacio e Pepe is new to the scene and my bf decided to surprise me with reservations while on vacation. It just opened a few weeks prior and is located in an outdoor strip mall tucked in back a bit, so you might miss it... Walking in we noticed outdoor seating with a few tables. Inside the restaurant is really lovely...white chairs, white bar area. Very calming ambiance and warm lighting. Cozy with clean aesthetics. Our charming waiter was from Italy and so engaging. He told us about the restaurant and his other ventures past and current. Nice man. The menu is seasonal and modest. Contrary to the restaurant's name I knew I wasn't going to order the Cacio e pepe since I could easily make this at home, so I wanted something different. First thing I noticed was some items listed on their website were not on their menu. Complementary table bread arrived first. A few small pieces of focaccia and Italian bread. We started with a bottle of Champagne, selection was slim and not the greatest wine list. For appetizers we wanted the Tartare Di Tonno con Mango but was told they didn't have. So we went with Polpo alla grilgia served with a garbanzo bean puree. Two pieces of nicely grilled, tender octopus. The bean puree seemed out of place and really didn't compliment the octopus, plus it needed more flavor. Lemon would've helped. After finishing our app, we placed our entrée orders. Veal scaloppini with mushrooms served with baby roasted potatoes and spinach. My bf ordered the Linguine Frutti di mare. And we waited.....for longer than we should have. We started to wonder if they had to catch his fish because the wait seemed unusually long. Then suddenly our waiter delivers a complimentary dish of house made fettucine with Bolognese to share. He spoke very highly of the house made pasta. We appreciated the gesture. Pasta was ok but I was unimpressed by their Bolognese which lacked in flavor and consistency. Our food finally arrives and my bf's Linguine di mare only has vongole (clams). He didn't notice this until well into his dish. We specifically spoke to the waiter about this dish so I'm not sure where the mix up could've occurred. To make things even stranger, we were charged for Linguine di mare and not Linguine con vongole and there is a price difference. I'm not sure if this was a genuine oversight or more of a bait and switch? Never did he mention not being able to serve what was ordered. My veal scaloppini was overcooked and not tender. I haven't ordered this dish in the longest time so I was really looking forward to it. Flavor was ok, but the veal was disappointing. We didn't have the energy to complain, but we should have. I order a cappuccino and bf wants the Tiramisu. Both were not well made. What little froth my cappuccino had was broken. The saddest cappuccino I've ever laid eyes on. The tiramisu served in a small glass looked haphazardly put together and tasted the same. A shame. This restaurant clearly needs to work out some kinks in the kitchen and I hope it improves. Dining room had a few patrons when we arrived, but it wasn't busy at all. I appreciated the friendliness of our waitor, but when you come to a nice restaurant like this and are paying for it, you expect a great meal. I didn't find that to be the case here. Too many mishaps during our experience.
