Cacio e Pepe is an informal Italian restaurant located in an outdoor mall. The menu consists of authentic Italian cuisine. Once arrived, we got seated immediately. The inside dining area was very small and cozy. The atmosphere was traditional Southern Italian and had an old-school theme to it. When the server came over to our drink orders, we were disappointed to find they did not have a bar, so the only alcoholic beverages you could order were wine and beer. We ordered our appetizers, and they came out within a reasonable time. We ordered Carpaccio, Eggplant parmesan, Calamari, and Burrata for appetizers. The appetizers were good, but for some reason, we never received the Burrata. Our entrees then came out later, and they forgot someone's meal. The food was alright but wasn't anything special. The restaurant did have a good selection of vegetarian options. After our entrees, the server rudely interrupted our conversation by waving the dessert menu in our faces and yelling at us, asking what we wanted. At this point, we asked for the bill and left. Overall, I would choose another restaurant. The service was alright, there was no bar, the food was overpriced, the atmosphere was average, and the food didn't stand out over other high-end Italian restaurants.
