This bar is great. It has alot of great energy from people and the food is awesome. I would definitely come here again

Best wings in the area and great service. RJ was very friendly and made you feel very welcome and appreciated. The place is exceptionally clean and and has multiple HDTVs to watch from any angle you sit. I'm ashamed to say to I've lived in the area my entire life and never stopped until tonight for my birthday. We will be regulars now.

Great place for theme nite..... Tuesday wings, wide variety of sauces, and dry rubs. Wednesdays Mexican, go early gets very busy Friendliest bartender you will ever find , always bright and cheerful no matter how busy Must try the onion rings

They make you feel so welcome and special. Service is top notch! Have had dinner once and lunch several times, my new go to! The portions are huge and fresh. Very clean and well maintained. Open long hours so whenever you feel the urge, go!

You gotta go to The Cactus!!! Great little place with great food, great prices, and fantastic service! Wings sauces are some of the absolute best around! The Sassy Garlic is my go-to, but I have to say that they are all pretty damned good. The pepperoni Roll entree is interesting, to say the least. It is absolutely massive!!! There is enough meat and cheese on it to satisfy even the toughest of critics. Highly recommend, and can't wait to return!

Love going there almost every other Sunday! Great food and atmosphere! RJ is great and sociable! Prices are affordable! Recommend 10/10!

Food wasn’t bad at all it was kinda busy but there girls did the best they could will go back there again it was clean in there

Definitely a bar for the locals. Service was both confusing and bad. We ended up going to the bar to order, but saw other people getting waited on at tables. Food took forever, almost as long as getting drinks. We tried to cancel a few times, but couldn't get anyone's attention other than some guys who just glared at us from across the bar the whole time. When the food came, it wasn't worth the wait. And then we had another 20 minutes trying to pay so we could just get out of this place. We were not from there, and we were definitely given the message that we didn't belong. Read it loud and clear! Don't worry, your place isn't worth the horrible service and just ok food. I also like my bars to be on the friendly side, not the banjo music as you go down the river side.

Ordered fish sandwiches and it seemed the fish was taken out of the grease with a ladle and grease and fish dumped on the bun. Food was inedible due to the amount of grease. Will not order again. Waste of 80.00.

The food was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had a party of 7. Everyone enjoyed their food. The servings were big. My husband said his cactus smash burger was very good. I got the chicken bacon ranch. It was huge and delicious. The specialty drinks were good. The service was good. They did have only one cook working at the time and we had a big order. They did a really good job of getting the food ready. We would definitely go back there to eat.

This place was so damn good. The bar itself is super cute, very clean, warm, and welcoming. The decor seems newly renovated too. The food was great. We ordered three different kinds of pizza and the Cactus chicken wrap. Everything was super tasty. Our server/bartender was RJ and he was super sweet and attentive. He has the perfect demeanor and vibe. We will absolutely come back to this place.

New Owners, great food, great atmosphere. Their wing sauce is the best around, original wing sauce from over 20 years ago. Wonderful bartenders and cooks. You won't be disappointed when you visit the Cactus!

Excellent food. We were on our way to Ohiopyle when we stopped through. I had the Western BBQ Burger w curly fries, son had cheeseburger with fresh cut fries, and husband had a chicken sandwich. Chicken sandwich was huge! The buns used on all the sandwiches were delicious, the beef was amazing. The restaurant n the bar area has high tables. Clean bar and restaurant and our waitress, who was also the bartender, was wonderful and friendly. Highly recommend it!

What an awesome place to visit in the Fayette/Westmoreland County area, right by the side of Route 51 in Perryopolis, PA. The place has been there for a long time, but I heard there were new owners and that the menu had been updated. So we stopped for lunch. Our party went inside to a cool, old-timey, area. It was spacious and clean. The menu had everything a hungry customer could want: appetizers, salads, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches. I had the chicken wrap--a perfect, generous helping of grilled (or crispy) chicken, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and a light dressing. Totally fresh and delightful fare! Others in our party opted for a hearty meatball sandwich, complete with a delicious bun and mozzarella cheese. All the sandwiches and wraps came with a generous portion of freshly made hand-cut fries. THOSE FRIES!! You certainly will not go away hungry from the Cactus! Bea, our server, was super-friendly and efficient. RJ, the owner and bartender, was charming and a lot of fun. I will definitely be back to the Cactus--it was an awesome treat!
