Cactus Blue Food Truck Bonaire

I had one of the best lunches ever at this little food truck! It’s highly rated for a reason. The owners are friendly and personable, they ask your name and actually remember it. They have made a lovely little area for seating with a gorgeous ocean view. I like that they encourage you to eat there, to help reduce waste of to-go containers. In addition to a really nice food menu, they have delicious freshly made juices- the lime was incredible. Thank you for a wonderful experience and delicious food!

Recently, I spent a very short few days on Bonaire, and the Cactus Blue was so good that I ate there more than once. The Lion Fish burger was outstanding, with great flavor, and the jalapeños, spinach, and sauce made it divine! The view cannot be beat, just sat on the rocks once, and in a beach chair the 2nd visit. Just a 2-person operation, both are warm and welcoming. Best wishes to this soon to be married couple, I'm already planning a return trip to Bonaire in November and I hope they're re-opened for the season when I come back!

It’s a food truck on the side street but the view was just amazing. The fresh breeze from the sea was so relaxing just sitting under the trees. It was my first time eating lionfish and it was delicious.

Love this food truck!! The lionfish burgers are amazing!! We were told that Lionfish are harder to come by nowadays (good thing) so prices were a little high ($26 each sandwich) but totally worth it! The owners are great and very fun to engage with. They usually aren't there in the fall so make good use of your other time there!

After a week of fish burgers at competing, much larger food trucks, we decided to get back to hamburgers and tried out Cactus. Beef patties were cooked to medium well like perfection, with warm pink center. Grilled buns, BBQ sauce, roasted onions, and bacon added flavor to juicy Kite Burgers. Food made with passion. Don't hesitate to have a meal here. Might have to wait a bit during peak lunch hours due to having only one chef.

I have been wanting to try this place for the last 2 years. It just didn't work out that I could find it or be there when they were open. This year I finally got to try a lion fish burger! It was worth the wait! My wife Andrea friends ordered the regular cheeseburgers, and said they were the best on the island !

Just returned from an amazing holiday in Bonaire. During our holiday we visited Cactus Blue twice. The first time we had Lion Fish Burgers which were absolutely delicious....along with the freshly made juices. We visited again a few days later and had 'The Kite Burger', which again was absolutely delicious. If you're visiting Bonaire, definitely go and see them at Dive Site #37 'Corporal Meiss'. Open weekdays 11am-3pm. 💯% recommend you go and treat yourself to this amazing, freshly made food. You can personalise to add Jalapeños, remove onions, make your bacon crispy etc. Perfectly made food!

This place was a highlight of my trip! The couple running it had a tip jar for their honeymoon so that might be why it’s temporarily closed right now. The burgers were delicious, conversations about lionfish were interesting & informative and they encouraged us to try local drinks and snacks. Very cute food truck.
