"At Caddies On Cordell in Bethesda, owner Ronnie Heckman is hoping he'll do half the business he did on Thanksgiving Eve last year. 'People just don't want to come out anymore, whether it's because of COVID or the restrictions,' he says. 'It makes it hard, but we understand. We're stuck between a rock and a hard place.'" - Adele Chapin

Chill bar with plenty of the to enjoy some games. They have some game day drink specials. There is plenty of seating in the back and I love how the garage door retracts and you get some more light into the room. There are parking garages all around this bar

Google
Great place, plenty of TVs for any sports. Food great, ordered the wings and cheesey tots. Great price for the amount of food is served. Not as crowded, I guess due to the sport season. Plenty of seating didn't view the rooftop nor outside tables. Friendly staff great service like the way they called me by my name. Nice and hot. First time, great experience

Google
Caddies has been the go-to hangout spot for my friends and I for years - cannot say enough good things about the place. The prices are the best in town, especially the daily specials/happy hour, but even more importantly, the food is incredible - whenever I have guests come in from out-of-town who are accustomed to fine dining, they all still ask for me to bring them here at least once. A special shout-out goes to the owner, bartenders, and runners who work Tuesday nights (trivia); just all-around great people

If you wanna catch a game this is the place.. 360deg tv placed every conceivable angle so nobody misses an inch of action. Pretty cool. Food is amazing, given that I didn't have high expectations of a bar food. Beer selection could be better as there were only 6 or 7 options on tap.

We enjoyed this place. We went to see a band. Prices were reasonable. Service was great. Easy parking nearby. I would definitely recommend this place. UPDATE: We went back again to watch a game. Food was not very hot. Fried pickles were not great. We also had a burger, fried chicken sandwich, and Greek salad. They were all above average.

I LOVE CADDIES!!! Been coming here for years and will continue. This place is the Cheers of Bethesda. Everyone is friendly and inviting and will eventually know your name!! The menu is trendy and the staff even makes you comfortable. The perfect happy hour spot after a long day in the office where you can shoot your shot or BUY SHOTS!! Tuesday trivia is loads of fun. Today, I just had a craving for the tots with crab and placed the order to go. Upon arrival, I found a spot right out front so, decided to dine in and treat myself to a cocktail. Updated menu but still the best bar food around. Offering wings, salad, pizza and more. Comfortable to catch up with friends or catch a game while participating in trivia Tuesdays.

Been here so many times, thought I’d finally leave a review. Had a great night, and the bouncer was so courteous and professional to my friends and I. I recommend Caddies to visitors every chance I get.

Normally we order the pan pizza from Caddies, which is EXCELLENT, by the way!!! The pizza has deep crust and we get the pepperoni and sausage. Yesterday, we stopped by to watch some football and have a few beers. This is a great place to go and watch football, as there are a lot of TVs and out door seating where you can also see the games. We decided to order food and being picky, I wasn’t sure if the “bar food” would be any good. To my surprise the food was on point!!!!! We ordered chicken wings (which I rarely eat) 5 Asian Chili and 5 old bay. The old day winds were a bit to salty because I don’t eat a lot of salt, so heads up or ask for less old bay. We also got the chicken tenders which didn’t disappoint. They were handmade not pressed and juicy. Along with 2 side Caesar salads and some burger sliders. The icing on the cake was the presentation. The food came on nice plates that look like real plates. I highly recommend, for football watching or stopping in for dinner. Review provided by Jennifer V-E Johnson

Yelp
The best Detroit pizza in DMV doesn't exis- I've never actually had the food at Caddies until recently when I saw pizza on the menu. And after that, I'm always going back. The search for the best Detroit style pizza in the DMV stops here. I've been to multiple places and I still always will crave and end up at Caddies. Something about the crust in the specific pan creates the crust to be crispy, but the actual pizza/bread is doughy and airy. Our go to is the Grapevine 100/5! I believe it's not even on the menu anymore, but the waiters know exactly how we like it- half white sauce, half red sauce, and pesto all over (no gatekeeping here) Found out recently that they don't serve White Claws or Truly's anymore. Only High Noons and Surfsides iced teas. Not sure how I feel about that because White Claws and Truly's are usually my go-to's. Besides all that, just a regular sports bar with a bunch of TVs that are usually playing some sport. There's an outdoor area as well, but I've never actually sat outside.

Christy C.

Yelp
Solid bar and pretty good food. We sat in the back since we had some kids with us. Service was fast and we enjoyed the music. The bar area was busy and sports were on tv. I highly recommend the burger and tots Mexican style. Enjoy a cold beer and a bite at this classic spot.

Yelp
I finally checked this place out after walking by it millions of times and it's a cool little spot. I didn't try the food but my friends said it was good. I was just there for the drinks and the bartender was not stingy with his pours. We went for adult music bingo and it was fun. I'm definitely gonna do that again! I love a good game night.

Ashley T.

Yelp
I recently enjoyed a fantastic happy hour at Caddies on Cordell! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for winding down after work. The drink specials were great, and the appetizers were delicious, especially the wings. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I'll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing happy hour spot.

Thomas N.

Yelp
I'm surprised I haven't been to this place before. Nice spot if you want to watch the games along with some great food and drinks. I got the wings with fries and they were crispy and delicious. Service was excellent and very tentative with our needs. It's a sports bar so it's excitement which is awesome if you want to sit down, relax, and catch the game with your friends/family. we'll definitely be coming back again. Responsible pricing as well!

David W.

Yelp
My fiancé and I decided to try a new bar, and we loved it, the food choices are amazing, the wings are probably one of the best that we've had in a while, I had the burger, but I definitely enjoyed my other half's meal more, that Ruben was just fantastic. The service was great no complaints at all, she was wonderful. Love the feel of this place with all the great music playing, sports on the TVs just a great time. Thank you.

Melanie P.

Yelp
Two stars only because I am not the cohort for this bar. This is very much the place for the young college-age crowd: too sugary drinks in plastic cups, 182,394,593,495 girls packed into a three-stall semi-clean restroom and "just okay" tvs for game watching. Good part it's in a location with lots of other options so I didn't feel stuck there. Could have just been the one Friday night I was there, but doesn't seem like the place for anyone over the age of 25.

Connor D.

Yelp
Ronnie is the man. Best bar in Bethesda. Awesome food. Best commanders bar in the area too, game day is great.

Natalie H.

Yelp
Their wings are BETTER than Wingstop. I usually order for delivery and the wings are still crispy. Great sauce to wing ratio.

Richard S.

Yelp
Very solid place to grab a burger or a beer at the bar. Came here to watch the JMU football game, and the bartender Ronnie was the man and happily put the game on. This place is also MAGA friendly in case you're looking for a spot for patriots in Bethesda

Sandra O.

Yelp
One of the bouncers called one of the ladies in our party overweight after a disagreement about the Redskins vs Cowboys rivalry. Food was alright, but slightly overpriced. The only thing that is helping it is that it's right across the street from Signature Cigars

Ryan K.

Yelp
Great place to watch sports! Caddies is plastered with large televisions both inside and outside. They offer about 8 beers on tap and also offer a full bar. I enjoyed cheering on my football team here and being able to easily watch other games during the commercial breaks. I would recommend Caddies for watching sports in Bethesda.

Chaniya C.

Yelp
My sister went out with me for the first night in Bethesda after falling off a balcony. I wasn't able to tip what the staff thought was okay so they thought it was okay to berate me and my sister on Juneteenth. I'm honest sure it was a drunk mistake as we were trying to leave but they made it very confrontational. As someone who lived off tips, it is never okay to alienate your costumers no mater what you think you deserve.

Yelp
Wow! I'm surprised this place is rated below 4 area. I ordered two weeks ago on DoorDash for me and my fiancé and we were very impressed with both the Jewish food and Detroit Pizza. The Grand Slam sandwich which was ginormous and we saved the other half for a sandwich the next day. It is good, it is almost there with Attman's and beats most other Jewish delis, including Parkway. We also had Cheesy Waffle Fries on the side which complimented our sandwich well. The matzo ball soup was delicious as well. The Jewish deli was originally part of Heckman's Deli which has the same owner and then became part of Caddies Grapevine Detroit Style Pizza was also delicious and one of the best pizzas we've had with all the toppings we love. I believe the Detroit Style Pizza idea came from Underground Pizza Company that had a pop up here as well as well next to us at the now closed Olazzo in Silver Spring (luckily for us they'll open up at Olazzo's space). However, Caddies now has their own excellent speciality pizzas that differ from Underground. All in all, we very impressed and look forward to ordering from here again.

Yelp
My husband's favorite style of pizza is Detroit style. We had a great place back in Texas that he loved (I think it made Yelp's list of best pizzas in the US last year), and though we've found good Detroit style pizza in Silver Spring, it's not the most conveniently located for takeout and doesn't do dine in so we have only gotten it once. So when I was looking up the restaurants participating in Bethesda restaurant week and saw that there was a bar that had good Detroit style pizza as well as good deli sandwiches, I figured we needed to give this place a try. We came on a Thursday night around 6pm, it was very lightly attended but got a little busier as we were there. Their restaurant week special was a medium 1 topping pizza, to which we added a few, 10 wings (we chose the asian chili flavor) and fried oreos, for $35 (we also added a couple drinks and a small caesar). My favorite parts of the meal were the wings - delicious sauce reminiscent of a general tsos, but superior because the chicken was meaty and not breaded - and the fried oreos, which were like fresh donut balls with an oreo in the middle, served with ice cream. They gave us six of these. One or two per person is MORE than sufficient, so we took some home. They were surprisingly delicious. The caesar and the pizza were good, but not best in class. I think the only issue with the pizza is the sauce; it was very thin and not particularly robust. The crust was light and airy like a good Detroit style should be, and the toppings were fine but not necessarily standout. The servers were very nice and pretty attentive, though I think they'd forgotten about the restaurant week thing which was kind of funny, I guess it's not advertised as well as it could be. There is a parking garage nearly next door which was a relief since it was a rainy night. They do have a large patio which I look forward to sitting out on when the weather is good again. We will be back and I will definitely have some wings and maybe try some deli food. Hubs can have the pizza, but I only eat Detroit style when it's perfect, I'm picky about how I spend my carb-calorie budget. Don't take that as an indictment though - it's good, most will like it just fine. I'm diabetic though and have to save my splurges.

Yelp
I'm going with a two to give them the benefit of the doubt as we did not order any food. However, after dinner we decided to come here because it looked cool with the open doors and it was beautiful outside. We sat down and immediately noticed so many types of bugs flying around different parts of the ceiling. These weren't just bugs coming in from the open doors, but we're clearly after something. They were deeper in the bar as well. I totally wish we got up and left, but my husband feels awkward doing that. Eventually a waitress came back and we ordered two drinks and ripped them back pretty quickly but she never came by again and we had flag someone else down to cash out. I just felt so gross and that the bugs were all over me.

Yelp
Total dive bar with a lively vibe. Crowd was an interesting mix of young 20 something's and baby boomers. Drinks were good and the potato skins were surprisingly good. It was loaded with bacon so you can't go wrong there. We were there to catch the band Whiskey Neat. They were quite good! Apparently the lead singer was sick so another singer subbed for him and she was pretty good even though at times her voice was drowned by the guitar and drums. Would definitely come back to catch the band again.

Yelp
This place absolutely sucks. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible drinks. I was so excited to come to this spot after hearing many of my friends speak so highly of it. But I was truly let down today. I don't even know how a place like this still operates. Not worth spending a single penny of yours at this establishment.

Yelp
I was at caddies last saturday night for the fight with my boyfriend, we both are from the area and haven't been to caddies in years so we thought we should check it out. We came in and didn't know there was a cover which is fine but the bouncers were very rude. We proceeded to get a drink but the service wasn't good at all, the bartenders were walking straight past us numerous times without even making any eye contact. Finally, we got the attention of the female bartender, she was nice but also busy so that's understandable maybe she needed an extra hand. The crowd was somewhat odd just a mix of kids and older people, it felt like i was in a not so great college town not Bethesda. All the sudden we see security kicking people out left and right, i guess some people were causing a disturbance. But what really caught my eye was they were kicking out people that weren't even doing anything wrong and the bouncers jumped these two guys for no reason. One was talking a lot and more threatening but there was one guy i remember that did Absolutely nothing wrong to get beat up and jumped by bouncers. It started to get out of hand and i saw the bouncers take the two peoples belonging who were just assaulted. After all this was happening i was surprised no one called the police especially if the security staff couldn't handle the situation. And not only that i heard the bouncers demanding money for the people that they beat up for no reason. That sounds like EXTORTION. Who ever owns this establishment shouldn't be owning or running anything if they actually trust these horrible security staff. I also was reading other reviews of other people not being let in unless they paid them. These bouncers are extorting people and robbing them of their hard earned money. I hope they file a police report on this horrible establishment. None of this should be happening in Bethesda. I literally saw assault, robbery, and extortion in the span of ten minutes all by the staff at caddies. No professionalism whatsoever.

Joshua S.

Yelp
Stopped into Caddies for quick drinks with a couple of friends. While we didn't grab any food, the drink selection was solid overall, but nothing too impressive (only a couple of local or craft items on the menu). Probably to be expected given the venue. Plenty of TVs with sports on - a little loud and bustling. They had a live band playing covers which was a nice addition to the atmosphere. Service was quick and efficient at the bar. Definitely a good sports bar to stop by for a quick game and drink.

T J.

Yelp
Food and vibe was great. I went on Wednesday because I seen the flyer about all night happy hour. Bingo was fun. I brought my fam to celebrate my sisters college graduation but the big guy at the bar totally ruined our vibe. He refused to acknowledge us at the bar trying to order food. Then when I noticed he messed up my tab and overcharged me, he refused to hear me out or fix it. I really enjoyed the vibe but that alone makes me apprehensive about returning and it's sucks because I'm a new local looking for some great everyday spots.

Emily B.

Yelp
We have all had to readjust our dining-out expectations during the pandemic, but Caddies took mine to a whole new low. My sister and I were craving nachos and thought this dive bar would be a prime spot to fulfill our needs. When we entered their tented establishment and were overwhelmed by the noise of young tipsy people we should have immediately turned around and left. The bouncer took our temperatures and then we found the closest table we could find to the outside. The waiter quickly approached to take our drink orders. My soda water with lime appeared quickly in a disposable plastic cup advertising "Truly" as did my sister's Orange Crush. She took a sip and noted the taste of overwhelming vodka. My sister scanned the bar code for the menu with her phone and quickly found the options for $13 nachos and we opted to add jalapenos for an additional $2. We placed our order and were given plastic cutlery and napkins while we anticipated the arrival of our food. Shortly thereafter our waiter appeared and placed a plastic container that looked to be the right size for leftovers in the middle of the table along with plastic containers of guacamole, sour cream, and salsa. When the lid was removed, a small pile of soggy nachos with hardly any nachos was disappointingly revealed. The chips were stale and despite ordering extra cheese there wasn't much cheese at all. We weren't given plates, so it was a challenge getting the soggy chips to our mouths without making a mess. Fifteen dollars for a small serving of disgusting nachos was not what we had been hoping for. All the while, the echoing, noisy chatter of the young drinkers was giving us a headache. If you're a young person looking for a very loud dive bar that serves super-strong drinks and over-priced, gross food this place is for you. My sister and I won't be back.

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
A lot of the bartenders (not all) do not wear their masks over their mouths and noses when making drinks especially when socializing with customers - and if you say anything to them about it they will absolutely give you a big eye roll and attitude :) so if you think you can safely drink here, it's a big no. Lol just stay home. *let me update this to say that after careful review and watch they don't make all customers at the bar wear their masks properly either.

Mark S.

Yelp
Classic case of not judging a book by its cover. Outside and inside it's a typical bar (with great service and staff btw), but if there is one thing you do before you die it's gotta be trying the pizza at this place. To be honest, I did not expect this place to have as good of pizza as it did. We ordered a large meat lovers and it came out so delicious. They served us a super amazing Detroit style pizza with an amazing crispy and buttery crust and oozing with tasty mozzarella. Definitely worth stopping by and grabbing a bite if you are in the area.

Tyler C.

Yelp
Best outside bar area in Bethesda Beautiful place to sit outside and watch the neighborhood. Low traffic street with lots of foot traffic. And latest happy hour in Old Bethesda going til 8 pm. Happy hour here is cheap beer ($3 Miller Lite draft) and basic bar food. Fries, nachos, burger and pizza Inside bar has a neighborhoodey laid back vibe with tv's. Not a place I plan to go to, but walking past on the way home, it calls to you with its comfort and ease.

Shelly J.

Yelp
One of my favorite bars in Bethesda. If I want to watch a game in that area, this will be my first pix. Watching games on their huge screen tvs almost makes you feel like your at the sport event. My old boss would always spoil us with Caddies carry out. I love their wings, salads and steak and cheeses. My favorite app is their chessy tater tots. Crispy, hot and fresh!! My friends love getting their beer on tap. Service is good. Its a nice gathering spot in the hot summer months. Only thing that makes this a 4 star than a five star review is their cleaniness. Tables take a while to be cleaned and floors arent cleaned well.

Rachel L.

Yelp
Love caddies! Perhaps a hole in the wall but they've been making aesthetic improvements. Tons of TVs and sweet outdoor spaces. The food is surprisingly really good- try the pizza. No frills, straight up great bar for a good time and strong drinks.

Runer M.

Yelp
I can't believe it's that hard to find servers in this area for a Saturday night. We had one, and food and beverages were served timely - she was just the rudest I've had in recent memory. I was a waitress for years, and I get it. But get a new job if you hate people and waiting tables. She had black curly-ish hair pulled back in a high bun, black yoga pants, and gray and black under armour tennis shoes. She did not smile once. She was annoyed that we couldn't get the app pulled up on our phones. (If you want to see a menu, you must scan the QR code and look on your phone. It will show you maybe 4 beers at a time. You can't see prices. Really, for people like my father who was with us, please just keep a few hard-copy menus on hand.) We got French Dip sliders, fries, onion rings for the table, and a Reuben with *the Thousand Island on the side* and a side salad. Fries were EPIC!! Side salad came with at least 1/2 cup of croutons on it - you could literally barely see the salad. Reuben had Thousand Island on it, as well as two small containers on the side. Told the waitress, very politely, I'm so sorry, but this has Thousand Island on it. She said, "You ordered it with Thousand Island on the side - so those are your Thousand Islands on the side." I said we ordered it ON the side. (Totally understand mistakes happen, but this should be basic waitressing. And if you misunderstand, it's super easy to just say sorry and fix it.) I asked if I could please get my half of a sandwich remade with no Thousand Island on it. She snarkily repeated, "SO, you want half a sandwich with no Thousand Island?" I was thinking, uh, yeah, I want the sandwich I ORDERED, but I am fine with just half since my dad and I were splitting and he didn't mind the Thousand Island as much. Ultimately she did it, but zero apology, she was clearly peeved, and I was made to feel like somehow I was in the wrong. In sum, I won't be back. Tommy Joe's has better onion rings, I prefer the Reuben at the Dubliner downtown, and while the fries are fantastic, it's not worth putting up with that much attitude.

Garth E.

Yelp
Excellent service, excellent bar food and a fun atmosphere. Go there frequently to watch sports and hang out with friends.

Kelsey H.

Yelp
This place was fine, nothing too special to write home about. I came after work for some drinks and to watch the game. We had to order at the bar, which was fine. The drinks were normal, nothing over the top to write home about. I'd go again, but it's not at the top of my list.

G M.

Yelp
Not what I was hoping for. Met up with a friend to watch an NFL playoff game on a Saturday night, talk, and have a late dinner. But the place was too loud and crowded for my taste. It was more of a bar than any sort of restaurant. No real wait staff. All orders had to be placed at the bar. Food was decent, but nothing to write home about. Conversation was difficult due to the noise There was nothing fundamentally wrong with Caddies, but it's more of a 30-and-under kind of place than a place for a couple of middle aged friends to meet up for beer and conversation.

Matthew H.

Yelp
This is the sports bar you've been looking for. Wings are fantastic. That is all you need to know.

David G.

Yelp
I've been coming to Caddies for years, I like the friendly vibe and the food is always good. I recently ordered via DoorDash and never got my food. The driver even pulled up to my house but never delivered it. Good luck getting someone on the phone at DoorDash, now they have my money and my food. That is strike three for me and DoorDash, this is not the first time. I called Caddies to explain what happened and even though this was not their fault they quickly put together another order for me and even included a gift card for my next trip there. Caddies cares about their customers and did right by me. Thank you for making my evening.

Ebonie J.

Yelp
Great spot for wings! I ordered delivery and while the temperature was not good the flavor was great.

Christine A.

Yelp
What an unexpectedly delightful experience at this sports bar. I honestly was not expecting the food and service to be so great given that sports bars can be hit or miss. The deli sandwich I had was about the best I've ever had and the sweet potato fries were amazing. My husband loved his food as well. The food was fresh and piping hot. Giselle provided excellent customer service and the happy hour prices are great!!!! Can't wait to try some more items off their HUGE menu.

Michael H.

Yelp
Half price burger on Monday. Cold beer. And whiskey. Whats not to love about a Monday night at Caddies? Not to mention the bartenders typically remember you even after the first time.

Sarina M.

Yelp
Excellent food! And a great place to go to watch the game. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar seating with tons of TV's. They have beer bucket specials for games and all around amazing food. We ordered the Reuben with fries, which was really delicious but lacked sufficient meat for the price. We also enjoyed the pepperoni pizza, which was amazing, and the deep fried oreos, which came with vanilla ice cream. All of our food was perfect!

Robert G.

Yelp
Best lunch specials in Bethesda. I really like the grilled chicken sandwich with a salad. Great deal for $10. The corned beef sandwich is a bit disappointing but everything else I've ordered has been pretty good

Jack G.

Yelp
Notice! This is NOT the old Caddies we all loved. Where to begin. It looks like absolutely no thought or money was put into the place. The bathrooms are simply atrocious; filthy, they smell, and there's damage to the utilities. I've been in cleaner frat houses after weekend binge parties. I'm guessing that the place was decorated with some leftover paint left in owners parents garage. Definitely not a thought was put into decor. It kind of looks like the place was abandoned by the real owners and a few neighborhood squatters broke in and decided to sell beer. You would think that with the place looking like such a disaster, the staff and service would be outstanding. Well you'd be wrong again. The level of customer service barley raises to that of what One can only assume one can expect in a Russian prison camp. It's like you are interrupting the staffs social media time by placing an order. I seriously doubt anyone who works there invested one dollar in this place because it's obvious that they don't care about it's success. Although there is one bartender at Caddies who's really friendly and seems to take pride in her job. I'll give you a hint as to who that employee is, she's thin. Now I must admit whoever is picking the bands is doing a good job. The bands seem to have a decent following by an older crowd that spends money. The DJs have been pretty good as well. I hear Caddies has had a guy playing acoustic guitar; Another good idea. Oh and the pizza is excellent. The rest of the food is good as well. Not excellent but much better than you'd expect when you walk in the place. If the owner shut down the bar and made the place a pizza joint, he'd be better off. Seems like that the only thing he got right. If it's a touch of class Youre looking for, you won't find it at Caddies. Your wine is served in a plastic cup. In fact bar napkins is another thing you won't find at Caddies. Lucky for the owner there's really no true "bars" in Bethesda anymore, so people will take what they can get. If I was the past owner of Caddies, I'd be calling there everyday asking to by back the name so no one would associate me with this place. Caddies has so much potential; great location in a well off neighborhood with no real bars in the area. But what it lacks is an owner with any creativity, vision or desire for success. Sadly it appears that Caddies is yet another failed business, on borrowed time (and probably daddy's borrowed money) waiting for Greenhill to buy them up and put Caddies out of its misery.

Medinat I-Kokoe A.

Yelp
It's not your average bar food spot, everything was really delightful! But do not order crab cakes or macaroni if those are your fav foods because it's basic there.. however Calamari, wings, salad and fries were wonderful!! Waiter was very nice and friendly.. she was able to serve five table at a good speed by herself!!

Mike J.

Yelp
how can a place loose your credit card? and except for the bartenders no one their cares. not their problem a girl working their first shift ever lost your credit card.Vwry poor management of this problem.

Diane M.

Yelp
I was invited by my long time friend to brunch at this wonderful Sports bar! Redskins beat the Cowgirls lol. Well, it was Fab! The crab soup was to live for I speak life only. In fact we both loved it and even drank the juice from it. My grand marnier French toast was perfection. I do wish the hash browns were home potatoes however still good not great but good. Loved my well season crab cake. My friend totally enjoyed her omelette as well. Will definitely be back when I am in the area again.

Samantha L.

Yelp
My friends and I celebrated Cinco De Mayo at Caddie's on Cordell. It featured food and drink specials including $5 House Margaritas, $5 Corona/Corona LT, $20 Corona/Corona LT Buckets, $5 Nachos/Quesadillas, and $3 Tacos. Despite it being packed, I was able to find a corner booth to sit at. It was a bit tight for 5 people. For drinks, we ordered a couple of House Margaritas, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Three Steak Tacos, and a bucket of Corona. The House Margaritas were light, sweet, and refreshing. If you like cinnamon and Rumchata, I highly recommend ordering the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The steak tacos consisted of flour tortillas topped with steak, roasted red pepper, cabbage, corn, onion, cilantro salsa, avocado, and cilantro sour cream. They were delicious and some of the best tacos I've had in awhile. The bucket of Corona consisted of five bottles of Coronas in a bucket of ice with lime wedges.

Yelp
For 11pm, the place was pretty crowded, hence the holiday & the Cavs & Hawks were playing. No table service, I had to order at the bar, no problem as Dade was friendly & expedient. He gives you a choice to pay as you go or start a tab...I get it, no table service & to avoid the eat & dash. I had the Hummus platter & a glass of Cab. Surprisingly it was very quick service in delivering the food & even a few check ins here & there by the server. The hummus was garnished with parmesan cheese and diced tomatoes., I 86'd the cheese & it was very good. It came with warm/grilled pita, & an array of fresh & abundance of carrot sticks, celery sticks, and cucumber chips. A tasty, healthy & well portioned late night snack. I was scanning the menu, pretty large selection for bar food & then some on the entrées aspect. I'll have to menu dabble more in depth the next go around. The patio was nice with the weather with the exception of the chain smokers, I thought everyone was turning over to E-ones LOL...it was smoke signals haven. I sat at the last table by the entrance, to help offset the 2nd hand smoke consumption. Besides that, it was a nice open layout from the bar to the patio & with a good scene for a sports bar that stays opened late. Good place for late night sports & bar food.

Yelp
Given the name I had expected the place to be decorated with golf memorabilia however it was not. Just looked like an ordinary darkish sports bar. We had to order at the bar which was fine. Drinks were fine. Nothing exciting for a Friday afternoon but I was interested to see that they have a singing bingo night and some other fun evening events so I might check back.

Yelp
PRICE GAUGE - charged 20$ for a drink solely because it was busy. Overall, terrible service and highway robbery for adding 20% gratuity to a single drink. There are many other better bars in the area and DC, so I would HIGHLY recommend staying away unless you are under 21. Then go, because they don't care about serving underage people. Never coming back.

Yelp
Was looking for a place to eat in downtown Bethesda on a Friday night with some coworkers. There parking garages all around the area. Originally wanted Mexican but all were booked up. We settled on Caddies...eh. Bouncer was really nice, besides the Cowboys gear -_-I should have known what is was with the young 20 somethings getting it in lol this place has 2 stories, huge bar and open patio at the bottom. 2nd floor holds a smaller room, with outside seating. We settled in upstairs for drinks and Food. The menu is bar food- burgers, fries , chicken wings , etc my main problem was the drinks. I asked for Patron margarita. The older you get, rail liquor isn't going to cut it. The bartender ensured me it was indeed patron, even though the look and taste was off. The second time I ordered I went to the bar to see what he was using. As we thought, it was so no name tequila. Then of course he acted like he forgot and comped the drink. No thanks. Ok place if your under 25

Yelp
I'm disappointed to leave this review. I attempted to watch the Dolphins game today. I understand it's not the most popular game of the day so my seating options are limited. The game was on a tv in the bar area without seating that also was in a walkway so I did not want to clog that area. The game was also on in the dining room. I asked if I could sit at the table next to the tv. The waitress was annoyed I asked and said she would check. She proceeded to stand behind the bar and a different employee said no I couldn't sit. I understand that I wasn't a big party but the bar certainly wasn't close to full. I left and went to one of the other sports bars nearby. I stop by a couple times a year to get lunch but I'm not a regular so I assume that's why I wasn't seated.

Yelp
In the past, it never occurred to me that Caddie's even served food. Imagine my surprise when, several beers deep on a Sunday afternoon, a friend and I decided to try a slider sampler platter. It was really good! You choose 4 sandwiches from several options; we chose the pulled pork, buffalo chicken, chicken Parmesan, and French dip. They were all delicious. I even went back the following week to order my fave from the selection, the pulled pork. Now, I know pulled pork, and theirs is as good as you will get outside of a BBQ joint in the south with its own smoker out back. For those looking to get their drink and football on, Caddie's is ideal. A million TVs, multiple levels and two patios, it is a great setup. They have reasonably-priced drinks. The Bud Light Bucket has 5 beers in ice, which keeps you stocked for a while, and it costs like $13 or $14. I will say, Caddie's can get packed at night or on Sundays, so arrive early to get a good location. At night, it is a regular bar, one of the more popular in the area.
