We had a great time at Caddy’s Madeira Beach! Yes, some of the nearby buildings and the beach sand are still showing the effects of Hurricanes Helene and Milton from 2024, which devastated much of the West Coast of Florida. But that’s all the more reason to show up and support the amazing local businesses and staff working hard to bounce back!
Our server Austin was fantastic—super personable and made the experience even better. We’d definitely ask for him again. We sat upstairs with an ocean view and the breeze made it a perfect, relaxing spot to enjoy the day.
I asked Austin for his go-to appetizer, and without hesitation, he recommended the Southwest Nachos. He was right—they were huge and delicious (and made for the perfect late-night Scooby snack). My girlfriend had the shrimp basket and enjoyed it, and while I wasn’t a fan of the fries, she thought they were great. She also had the Pineapple Mojito, which came in a fun color-changing collector’s cup—tasty and a cool touch.
We also checked out their gift shop with fun Caddy’s merch like shirts, tanks, sunglasses, and even cookies.
All in all, we had a great time. If you’re in the area, swing by, grab a drink, and support a local business that’s doing its part to recover and rebuild. The food’s great, the view is beautiful, and the staff makes it worth the visit.
