Love this spot. Reminds me of a much better version of Chevys. A place you come for a giant margarita, chips and tacos with friends. The service is excellent. Shout out to Guillermo for being the absolute best waiter. I got a huge margarita for $29 which I thought was insane, but that thing was massive and I thought I'd have to be carried out the door only halfway through, and I have a pretty high tolerance for booze. 10/10 Puffy tacos and ceviche were really good, I don't usually ever want dessert but I enjoyed just hanging out there enough that we took our time there, ordered the churros which were super good. I think the bill ended at about $109 before tip for 3 puffy tacos, chips, salsa, ceviche, 2 large margaritas and churros. Take that as you will but that seems pretty fair to me. I'll be back again for my chips and giant margarita fix.

Visited Cadillac Bar & Grill for the first time yesterday during the lunch hour and it can best be described as an “okay” experience. The atmosphere was the best part of the experience as it’s a large business with a colorful and fun decor. There is a large bar and ample seating. It is Mexican themed and is a perpetual Cinco De Mayo theme. The service or in-particular our server left a lot to be desired. His demeanor could be described as “disinterested.” He was not rude but I didn’t feel his customer service was adequate. The food was okay. I ordered the Tijuana Salad with Steak and it was only ok. The salad was smothered with salad dressing and as one of the only healthy options on the menu, it was unnecessary. Overall, this is a good place and worth a try.

I came here for Taco Tuesday and it was so good! I never had deep friend tacos before, and the margaritas were massive. This place has been around for a long time, can you can tell they’ve really put time and love into each of their dishes! They even had live Mexican music while we were eating. Such a great vibe and our hostess, Mary Ann, was so nice and welcoming!

Stopped in this place since only open around that area at night. I'm glad I did. Ordered the lobster tacos and a steak quesadilla. My lobster tacos are without the cabbage. Sauce made it easy to fall apart, but I'm not complaining. It was finger licking delicious. The steak quesadilla was great. Came with Pico and quac along with sour cream. Very filling. Staff member who took my order was professional and pleasant. Came out to a little over 50 bucks but was worth it.

Ordered Nachos with Carnitas. There is a side menu and we added 12 piece wings with mango habanero seasoning and a bleu cheese dressing sauce. The wings had a sweet kick from the seasoning without being too spicy but the nachos were definitely the way to go with a good portion and lots of toppings with jalapeno slices, beans, guacomole, pico de gallo and sour cream. No visible street parking so definitely more popular for passersby.

This place is incredible! Jennifer was the best server. The food was incredible (my friend and I got puffy tacos) and we were in heaven. The margaritas are an incredible value and delicious. I recommend it to everyone! Edit: went back on my last night, this is the only restaurant I went to twice, it’s that good. Will be back someday!

The interior in very spacious and appealing. The prices are a bit high. I had the puffy tacos. They were puffy, light and fried well. They got soggy quickly but still tasted delicious. The chips were light and crisp and the guacamole was great.

They deceptively conceal their Margarita menu when you order and don't use glasses but instead use 7-11 plastic 16 ounce slurpy cups and it contains more Margarita mix than tequila and the price was $26.00. The two guest next to me were in shock their bill was $130.00 but they to ordered higher priced Margaritas but it was $60 dollar Margaritas each🍹 therefore stay away. The Nachos cheese with chicken strips tasted like Gelitan and it was sushi chicken 🐔 and imitation meat.

Came here on Thursday night to watch football game for 49ers! Surprisingly not a lot of people so we got a good seat to watch the game. The menu is simple which is great for my first time here. I got "Puffy tacos" and fajitas. Puffy taco: the taco is slightly fried which is crispy, soft inside and not greasy at all. The cactus puffy taco is so good that I wish I ordered more of it. Fajitas: I asked if they can mix chicken and shrimp which they can! I feel it's probably the best fajitas I've had lately! It's not greasy and the meat has amazing charred flavor!!

Cadillac is so close to the Orpheum theater so whenever I am seeing a show there, Cadillac has been the spot to go for years now. The margarita flavors and drink size options are amazing - get a pitcher of the pomegranate margaritas to split with friends. Now to the food - always a hit! Start with the chunky guac and chips and order a puffy taco or two. I ordered the chicken quesadilla yesterday and the chicken was great and flavorful. My friends ordered the impossible tacos (yes! Cadillac is vegan and vegetarian friendly!) as well as the carne asada and fish taco plate. There's plenty of seating and decor is nice. There was also live music to enjoy! I wanted to end this review with a shoutout to our server Paulo H (listed on receipt, I hope this is him!) We've had him two times in a row as our server and he always goes above and beyond to make sure we're enjoying our food and getting our orders in quick so we're not late to our show. I promise, we will try to show up earlier next time so we can get a few more rounds without a rush! Thank you Paulo!

My family used to live close to Cadillac, so we would frequently come here enough to get recognized by staff like Guillermo. Guillermo's awesome, always remembers us, and makes Cadillac feel like home. We've met a few bartenders here and they've all been super friendly too. In the past few years, I've brought a few friends here - for group dinners, happy hour bites, drinks before a concert, post-work margarita, etc. they've all had a great time and I've really enjoyed bringing them all here. Love their margaritas, especially the cucumber, spicy, and frozen strawberry margaritas. I've tried and enjoyed pretty much all of their happy hour food. My family enjoys sharing the steak fajitas. Super roomy in here - can't go wrong with either bar or table seating. Y'all are the best, Cadillac!!

Let me start by saying the service was absolutely amazing. Our waiter kept our margarita glasses full the entire time, took our order without delay, and was always checking in on us. We ordered a pitcher of the Blue Hawaiian frozen margaritas, which definitely didn't disappoint. Each of us got about two and a half glasses. For appetizers, we had the nachos, which were incredibly tasty. The jalapeños were spicy but milder than usual, with a wonderful pickled flavor. We all opted for different puffy tacos, and again, they were perfect--well-portioned and flavorful. As for the ambiance, we were there between rushes, so we had most of the restaurant to ourselves. The space includes a lively bar, a TV showing sports, and a stage for live music.

Perfect spot to grab a bite or drink before a concert at the Civic Center. The inside is big was tons of seating and a bar. It was pretty empty for a Friday night so I was surprised. The service was quick and everyone was friendly here. They were attentive. The food came out fast. We got the taco platter to try and it was the perfect amount. Their tacos are pretty flavorful. My favorite taco was the shrimp one! The shrimp was not over cooked and seasoned perfectly! Also got a Cadillac margarita to try and boy it was good! Perfect amount of alcohol!

I'm so happy I got to try their famous puffy tacos!! Highly recommend!! Food was excellent and the ambiance is great. Only drawback is the lack of parking, but it's downtown San Francisco! Not exactly a car-friendly area!!

Stopped in to watch football game at 5:00. Claims happy hour is 3-6. No items are included on menu- bartender says only margarita is tequila free for happy hour. No food for happy hour.

3.5 stars is spot on. Service is very good, at least for us. Carnitas were excellent, I use these as a marker because sometimes they're super dry. But these were very good. A couple of beers on tap (I wish there were more) and the margaritas look good, but my friend wasn't drinking so I didn't imbibe. It's really unfortunate that this neighborhood has deteriorated so much. The restaurant was kind of empty. I hope they can survive, and I promise to do my part and return when I can. But this whole area now is sad and deserted. ugh

First time here and it did not disappoint! It's located on a busy street but we were able to find parking right out front. We had a party of six with reservations and the staff was very attentive & accommodating. I ordered the frozen strawberry margarita and we had chips & salsa to share with the table. For the main entree, I ordered the two tacos platter (grilled chicken taco and a grilled shrimp taco). The food and drinks were phenomenal. It's now my favorite Mexican restaurant in the bay!

It's illegal for gift cards to expire in California. They refused to accept a gift card. Janet is rude, unprofessional, and unqualified. Update: You not updating your system is your problem. It's illegal for gift cards to expire in California. There was no outburst and you weren't even there.

Been coming here a while but most recently as a guest to an end-of-the-year work lunch. It's a great spot for large parties; there were groups along side us and in the private room that day. The service was a little slow, no doubt the kitchen was slammed with so many to serve at once, but plenty of chips, salsa, guacamole, and drinks to tide us over until the entrees were served. Plus, the pace gave us a chance to catch up with colleagues. Carnitas puffy tacos - my fave! The waitstaff were friendly and accommodating - especially when we asked them to take a group photo of us.

Came here for the first time. This place was near the Orpheum Theatre. The chips and salsa was delicious - chips were light and flaky. Couldn't eat just one!! We shared the pollo platter and also got the carnitas plate. Food was delicious and portions were large. Rice had a nice citrus component and was also delicious. Had a fluffy taco that came with the platter order. Was definitely different but I didn't care for it as it fell apart as it was soggy. Otherwise was a nice find in the area if you're going for a show.

We just dined there June 13. The bar is still primarily Tequila , and the food was tasty. Like the puffy tacos. Service was very good. Seems like a great Happy Hour or after work get together spot.

Mango margaritas are so good! But I also ordered the skirt steak fajita sizzling plate that was also good. Served with plentiful steak and was very filling. I'd suggest that people try for themselves as well. Lastly, they make DELICIOUS tortilla chips that were freshly made and warm with good salsa servings too for appetizers.

To start, the location is stunning. The staff members are incredibly welcoming, and I had the chance to brush up on my Spanish. Our server suggested trying the house, cucumber and the spicy Margaritas infused with pineapple, and they were absolutely delightful. We opted for the Nachos as our appetizer, and it was great. The tacos were also fantastic they certainly lived up to expectations. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit.

Awesome place for a quick dinner before heading to a musical play at The Orpheum theater. This restaurant has great ambiance and pretty huge place in that area. Food was tasty but kinda pricey for 2 people. We will definitely come back though to try other items from their menu.

This place is no longer open. We attempted to visit on the evening before this year's Bay to Breakers but was unable to reach them by phone. The hotel had to confirm that they were no longer in business but the website states 'We're Open!' Very misleading.

NEVER MIND THEY'RE OPEN AGAIN 5/5 STARS i want to return here as a customer but they're only open on thursdays now according to google! however, their website and instagram contradict that. please help a would be loyal customer. if y'all open atleast four days a week, i'll bump this up to five stars

This restaurant is awesome, food is great, drinks are delicious, and the ambiance is fun. Guillermo is our favorite server in all of SF, highly recommend A++++

I was reluctant to write this review, but I need to address the incident that I witnessed as I visited the establishment. Not to take away from the experience the food was very delicious so in that aspect I can't complain. However, I witnessed a female manager arguing with a customer and being very rude and hostile. I was taken back because how is this, Ok? And does this happen often to customers. I don't want to be in an establishment as beautiful as it is to have a manager speak to customers in this way and even the staff. As a manager the way she talked to staff members was unacceptable. She looked very angry and just like she didn't want to be there. I feel for the staff and the unfortunate customer who got the brunt of her wrath that day.

Many of the tenants across the street have complained about Cadillac Bar & Grill restaurant food and drinks before COVID-19 and after you opened May 5th, 2024 but your another upscale "Dennys Restaurant."Multiple guests were complaining of your deceptive Margarita prices and I have copy of receipt I did order Nachos and Chicken strips were $15.00 but the Margarita was $26.00 and I sent a copy to my bank to dispute your Margarita pricing which is deceptive and they agreed. Once I dispute your charges I never do business again with you therefore I should have listened to my peers who live at my Apartment but you'll probably call them racist, drunks, wanting to throw table's, fight staff, etc...but I'm a senior citizen, retired, never been arrested but you want a audience to beat up and bully seniors.

Excellent food to dine in or take out. Good hours as they are open late night and close to Market Street if you are walking in the area.

Came here for a work luncheon so missed out on happy hour and drinks (will need to return for that!) Ordered a plate and had refillable chips with guac and salsa to share. Was very satisfied with the homemade chips and the taste of the salsa and guac. The chicken was very flavorful and juicy--much better than anything my limited grilling skills could've made. Everyone agreed that everyone else's food looked tastier, so that's why I'm docking a star. It's not that it wasn't good, it's more like we expected better? I can't say until I've tried more dishes though.

Amazing place! I was pleasantly surprised. The pictures and reviews do not do this place justice. Everything was incredible from the service to the food and drinks and they had the cleanest most modern bathroom I've seen. My children (3 & 5) usually refuse to use public bathrooms, but not here. Shout out to Guillermo for providing excellent service! The jalapeño margarita was outstanding. I recommend upgrading for herradura tequila. The kids loved their chicken tenders with fries, best chicken tenders and fries I've had btw... and I had the tostada bowl. The rest of our crew had fajitas and guacamole and ceviche. The chips and salsa were also note worthy because the chips were extra thin and warm! Hands down best Mexican restaurant I've been to. We will definitely be back!

My first time coming here ,and it won't be the last!!! The Margaritas are so bomb! They have several size options for you to choose from, plus flavors. The puffy shrimp Tacos are bananas!!! I can't wait til my next visit

The setting is really nice and was pretty calm on a Tuesday night. The margaritas were very tasty and get the job done. I got the lobster tacos and they were so delicious I was just sad they only came as 2 as I was wishing for more.

Delightful, tasty dinner before seeing a show at the Orpheus. Our server was super busy, but kept an eye on us. Food was better than expected: queso fundido, guacamole, salsa and chips were all fresh and flavorful. Ordered the meat platter to share. Carnitas was authentic, chicken flavorful and not over cooked. Switched up the tequila for our pitcher of Cadillac margaritas and it was thumbs up

I really like this place BUT on Cinco de Mayo, they cut the menu to almost nothing. The staff said bcuz they do not have enough line cooks to keep up with food demand. Okay? So why is the bar 3 drink options and bottled water. They didn't allow people to request tap water (no charge). See for yourself....... UPDATE: tacky response from a so called manager to a long time patron.

I love this place. The ambiance is amazing and the food and drinks are delicious. I have had two events here with a party of 12 or more, and they always take great care of us.

Prices are a little high, but not too bad. It is a great spot to meet for business. The staff is professional and efficient, and the food is never bad.

What happened to their burritos?! Chicken tastes like bbq now. And carrots?! Who puts carrots in a burrito. Yuck yuck yuck. Don't get me wrong, healthy servings are always welcome, but they are so big they aren't fun to eat. Margs are strong. Not really tasty, just strong. Chili con queso and their chips are their only redeeming factors.

we went to the Cadillac bar and grill Friday afternoon for happy hour with coworkers. The food was really tasty. Appetizers were good. Fajitas were fantastic. Our waiter Zack was the best. another table was giving him a really hard time and he handled it like a pro. definitely will be back.

The food is always good, the drinks are great!! Really appreciate how the service is above standard and they are always willing to make things right! It's always clean and there's sports and great music to boot! Highly recommend this place for a quick stop or a full on party!

This place was quite amazing. We didn't expect much at first but saw they had good reviews. Great service, our waiter was very attentive and kind at all times. Food was amazing. We ordered puffy tacos and got all 3 flavors to share (6 taco plate): shrimp, chicken and fajitas. They were all super delicious. I'll just say me and my friend weren't huge fans of the fajitas only but it was good too. My sangria was giant, had a lot of ice in it. Really did not expect I'd get buzzed from it but wow I did. Their sangrias are delicious and actually have alcohol in them! Highly recommend. Great atmosphere. When we came it was slow as it was early in the day but I imagine it's awesome for hanging out and watching live sports shows. Definitely want to come back here again!

Cadillac Bar & Grill provides a pretty fun atmosphere and good food & drinks overall. The place itself is quite large and they even have outdoor seating (in the back) which was enjoyable. I'd recommend coming here with friends or coworkers, as it feels more like a place best enjoyed in a group setting. Some drawbacks: - The food is pretty good, but nothing stood out as especially tasty - The prices are expensive - Parking is non-existent (I wouldn't even attempt to drive here) - Cadillac Bar & Grill is located in a so-so area (near the not-so-nice part of Market Street) You won't regret trying this place out, although I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to do so.

I love Texmex and was excited to see this place was close to our hotel. The food and service were as good as most chain restaurants, but prices and ambiance suggested something more. As a side note, homelessness in the area is a major issue. Maybe that had an impact on our experience to some degree, but this is beyond their control.

We didn't eat here but had Margaritas which were phenomenal. Great atmosphere and the service was second to none. We forgot our card and the amazing bartender chased us down 3-4 blocks with the card. Definitely above and beyond customer service. This place will be on the list to stop by every time we are in town.

First time here and it was ok. It didn't knock my socks off. We ordered the puffy tacos which were good, but a lil greasy for my liking. The meat was well seasoned and tasty. Rice and beans were good too. The churros for dessert were ok. Our server wasn't the best and to be honest her trainee was far more attentive to us. Our churros took forever to come out and we mentioned it our server said she would check, but didn't return to update us. She eventually brought us our check and we asked again about the churros and she was like oh umm here they are as another staff brought it out. Not sure if this would be a first choice to return to right away.

I stayed at a hotel right across from the restaurant and i was walking by found this place, food is great but our server Antonio was the best, Knowing the menu foo well his recommendations was amazing.

Very nice place, spacious, good for conversations, good for groups. Very good reception and table service. Close to BART. The skirt steak was tender but I wasn't impressed.

The wife and I were visiting San Francisco and a few people recommended this place, so we gave it a shot. We didn't have many days in SF so we wanted each time we went out to be unique and basically perfect ( or at least that's what you wish for every time you go out) We were welcomed warmly right as we walked through the door and took us to our table. Service was very good, polite and knowledgeable. The manager and the owner touched the table and verify everything was of our satisfaction. Exactly what we were looking for Great food great service, we are on a holiday so prices seemed fair and reasonable. Strongly recommend this place We will be back Carlos and Verónica Dallas Texas

Came here for lunch and was blown away! Didn't expect much because I was on jury duty. Beautiful restaurant. Staff was sooo nice and thoughtful. Food was delicious! Got the puffy tacos. 1 carnitas 1 steak and both were amazing. The puffy taco shell was really good - almost had a tamale masa texture. Beans were smoky and spicy! Will definitely be coming back

Went to the Cadillac Bar with large group on a Wednesday night before a show at the Bill Graham. It's a very big restaurant and we had reservations so no problem getting a table. But that was about all that went right. The place is simply a hot mess. It got very crowded because of the show, so you would think that the restaurant would have enough staff to handle a full restaurant . Not even close. We waited almost 20 minutes before we were able to order drinks! 30 minutes before we ordered food. No refills on water, no one checked on the table, we tried to order another pitcher of margaritas, but when it never came after 15 minutes I told the waiter to cancel it. Some food orders were wrong and the food is mediocre at best. Lots of better choices for Mexican food in the city. Since service was so bad, and the waiter knew it, he kept apologizing and then told us he was bringing us a pitcher of margaritas on the house since we had to wait so long for everything. But guess what? When I had time to look at the bill in detail later, he charged us for the pitcher!! Total hot mess. Never ever will any of us in our big group go there again!

Went here for a team happy hour recently and we had a blast! They have an awesome happy hour from 3-6PM, and I tried their Chicken Chorizo Empanadas and Tocino Pops (Bacon-wrapped shrimp grilled and stuffed with jalapenos). They were REALLY good! We got margarita pitchers for $24, and the margaritas here are quite strong and not too sweet. Service was great as we were one of the few big parties in the place. Definitely a good work happy hour spot since there is plenty of seating.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Cadillac Bar & Grill for the first time tonight, it was a fairly busy night and we didn't have reservations but we were happily seated by a very friendly hostess in the high top table area which was comfortable and the perfect area to enjoy conversation. We started with a House Margarita, Stella and the Guacamole/ chips & salsa (delicious btw) and for our entree we shared the Puffy taco platter w/ rice and beans. The guacamole and salsa was so fresh and delicious! Our Puffy tacos had amazingly seasoned Carnitas, cilantro and onions along with a outstanding creamy green salsa, those frijolitos had great flavor and the rice was just like mom made. Our waiter was very friendly and recommended those delicious carnitas. It was a absolutely delicious meal with fantastic service to cap off a busy Saturday. If you are looking for an authentic meal, with amazingly friendly service, we highly recommend Cadillac Bar & Grill.
