The 15 Best Restaurants At George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) - Houston - The Infatuation

"The original Cadillac Bar in Washington Heights has long been known for its killer margaritas, something the airport location also takes pretty seriously. Now owned by Landry’s (hey, Tilman), this spot not only offers exceptional service, especially for an airport, but you can also get absolutely massive plates of food here. We especially like the breakfast options, mostly because they have a lot of cheese." - chelsea thomas, gianni greene

This is the spot for Mexican food in an airport. Price for an airport was more than proportionate for the amount and quality of food that you get. My waitress Maria has the best customer service. For lunch on a Friday and a half full restaurant the food came out so fast! I got a mix of beef and chicken tacos. Recommend the beef! Will come back when I’m flying out of Houston!

Cadillac Mexican Kitchen at IAH is a great stop before a flight! The food is fresh, flavorful, and served quickly by friendly staff. A solid choice if you want tasty, authentic Mexican food while traveling.

I wish the restaurant Owner of Manager would see this review. I travel a lot out of IAH and I have been to this restaurant multiple times. I just had the worst experience at the restaurant. The services here by a table server was far the worst ever. The big white lady was the worst!! She saw me walking into the restaurant and sat at one of the tables. Even if she already knew that I was there, she took almost 7 minutes to come by the table and ask drinks. By the way, there were only a couple of tables occupied, including the one that I was sitting. So, not busy at all!! When I asked for the menu, they finger pointed to the QR code on the table with annoyed attitude. I was like...."Ok, she is in grumpy mood." Anyways, I ordered the food with the QR code, and the food came out. No water was offered. No silverwares were offered. No napkins, nor sauces. She never came by the table If you go to this place, please please please sit at the bar. I think there are 1 gentleman and 1 lady bartenders. They are nice, checking on you from time to time, asking if I need anything. Foods are good. Wings, chips & salsa, fajitas are good. They need serious improvement of the server's minds and attitude.

A great choice for a quick or leisurely bite while waiting to catch a flight. Nachos were quite tasty and so were the street tacos. Non-alcoholic drinks were topped up quickly fresh ones and food was paced appropriately and with reverence to our flight times. Restaurant has plenty of seats and room for luggage which seems to be a luxury in most places. Our waitress, Elsa, was a treat, nice and accommodating for our schedule. Photos not included, food was eaten too fast.

Bartender saw my cup was empty and kept walking past (3 times the second time) but with male customers she asked if they needed another. I didn't get another until I asked her for one myself and I know she saw my glass was empty because her eyes fell it everytime she walked past. Also she was on her phone a lot while I was waiting for my first refill and kept disappearing.

This was my second visit to the Cadillac Bar at IAH. The first time was great, but this one was a letdown. The drinks tasted like melted ice with just a drop of flavor, and even the plain Coke itself was beyond flat. For $20 drinks, it should be much better. On the plus side, the space was clean, the Wi-Fi worked, my table had an outlet so I could get some work done while waiting for my flight, and the chips I ordered were good. Hoping my next visit feels more like the first.

Nice big area with calm quiet seating compared to out in the terminal. Worth it just for that! Especially in this A terminal where there isn’t much to eat and it stays full of people. The food is good for an airport, not the best, limited selections, and kind of expensive. Drinks can range from barely any liquor to an ok drink. Servers are usually sparse and service slow.

Waited 40 minutes for nachos. When our food finally arrived, the waitress dropped the tray and we ended up with food all over our shoes and backpacks. She scrapped the food and broken plate into a pile and then left it on the floor. We got a replacement order 5 minutes later (complimentary, which we appreciated), and she picked up the food and broken plate. But she never mopped the floor, so we had to be careful not to step in greasy residue as we left. The nachos are great, but they don't make up for lousy service.
