Gorgeous! We had a stunning view of the river and all the happenings down by the water. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The casino was a bit of a ghost town, and the payouts weren't very good. I wasn't there to gamble, though, so it was more of an observation.

Google
Hotel was amazing and very nicely decorated. Our room was great, very clean and modern and the beds are very comfy. My husband was there for a conference at the Augustus tower. The casino was great, it's 2 floors, so lots of slots and tables to choose from. The gym and pool were awesome. The food and drinks were very good and everyone was so nice and helpful from the beginning to the end!

Google
Decent casino & resort As a firstimer here. I had a overall good experience. The casino is very big and a bit confusing to find you way around. but eventually you will find your way around. The pool and jacuzzi was nice and relaxing. The gaming floor is large and have plenty of machines and table games. the rooms are clean and spacious. I recommend here.

Have stayed on many occasions. Love the Forum tower, close to the fitness center. The rooms are clean and have a frig and coffee maker. Enjoyed the casino as well. A variety of restaurants to choose from, has a nice bar and night club on the weekends for those who like clubbing.

From the time we walked in from the time we left we had a fabulous time. Didn't take home a windfall of cash, but laughs and memories made. Plenty of tables and slots. Places to eat within casino too. A carnival of sorts was along the river, which was a fun little break too. Stayed 2 nights. Bed and room was comfortable. Convenient check-out process from room.

Google
Beautiful place.!! Negative part you have to book for the good dinner. Lovely casino. They do have time Horton. And other fast food We went to the lovely restaurant down the road from where we stayed. Go to google map and type restaurant near me.

Google
Very nice hotel. Parking is free. I do not recommend carrying your bags across the sky bridge between the parking lot and the casino to get to the hotel. It's way too long of a walk. I would either valet or walk down the steps into the garage to the street and go into the hotel lobby... it's a much shorter walk. I was there for a conference, I am not a gambler. The casino though is huge and look like it had a ton of different games to play. There are multiple restaurants, sports bars in the facility and a Tim Hortons. It's a little pricey, especially with the $25 per day resort fee. The rooms were very nice. Clean, well maintained. Overall, it's a very nice hotel, especially if your intention is to go to the casino.

Google
Don't order a drink at the caasino 2 drinks cost $40. Also dont push the button on the slot machines for service you wont get your drinks for over an hour. We had to give up waiting and just go order some from the lounge. The rooms were very nice and clean too and we did have a great time overall.

Yelp
Had a nice visit June 2024...stayed in a Forum Junior Suite. Room, halls, common areas and casino all quite clean. Exceptionally friendly staff. Fun updated casino. Machines paid reasonably. Will be back soon!

Yelp
Great hotel for a night away! We stayed in a king room which was updated and very nice. Soothing colors, modern, and different lighting. The foyer of the hotel room was a hard surface while the rest of the room was carpet. The hotel room included a sitting area, desk, and good-sized bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The bathroom vanity has a bunch of good cubbies for storage. Comfortable bed. Our room had obstructed views of the ambassador bridge/Detroit. A bonus that the hotel room had a mini fridge. Checking in was not fun - if you aren't a frequent flier of the hotel/casino then you are stuck waiting in line. We valet parked, so that was easy. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Great playground for adults with the casino attached along with places to eat.

Christina S.

Yelp
It was my first time going to the casino and I enjoyed this experience. It's very nice and big. I have no complaints.

Loletha B.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, a bit pricey. If you want to stay in the Forum which is a part of the hotel that sits across from the US. See pic below. Rooms were nice and clean, plenty of towels. I will definitely be back.

Jessica L.

Yelp
We just weren't very impressed by our room or the hospitality. We used Expedia (note to self, never do that again) to book a room with a Downriver view and we did not receive that. Regarding cleanliness, there was both hair and mold in the shower, which was very off putting (glad I packed Clorox wipes). The bed coverings and sheets had multiple small holes in them, as well. I understand that this is a hotel catered to gamblers but it needs a lot of love focused toward the rooms, not just in the casino!! We will not be returning.

Yelp
We have been here a couple of times, this time it was to see Derek Hough perform. We got there a little bit early and did some gambling and ate dinner at Spago. It is a smoke free facility and that was a nice change having been to the one in Vegas a couple months ago and it was hard to walk around. The dinner at Spago was very good and a convenient location if you are seeing a show after. The colosseum is a little weird to me. It is kind of a no frills, bare bones theatre compared to the rest of the place. There is only one restroom in that area, so just be aware of that. There is free parking but you have to walk through the casino to get to the colosseum. We throughly enjoyed the show and hope he comes back next year.

Albert S.

Yelp
Great hotel. Great location and decent price. Room was clean and spacious. However it's too dark. Not good for business person that needs to work on their computer at night time. I need to move the standing lamp next to the table. The johnny rocket....don't bother going there. Horrible service. Horrible food. A place to avoid at all cost.

Yelp
Just across the river from mega-city Detroit is Windsor Ontario and they're definitely taking advantage of the proximity to the border. The hotel literally faces the United States! My friend is a big roller (something about seven stars?) and earned free tickets to a comedienne so we popped over this evening to check it out. Access to Caesars is easy enough (once you've cleared the border, just follow the signs) and they have easy free parking. Hooray for free parking! From there, good signage through the hotel and casino to find the Colosseum. Once the show was over, back the same way and out to the street to find our way home. Overall, a positive experience. [Review 17968 overall - 95 in Ontario - 1489 of 2022.]

Yelp
While visiting Detroit, we decided to head over to Windsor for a few hours. I loved Caesar's Palace. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The casino was clean, there were plenty of slots and currency machines were easy to navigate. We stopped at the bar for cocktails, and the bartender was very upbeat. As a customer, I was grateful to see the security measure in place that verified my second card swipe wasn't a duplicate charge made in error. I received a map from security when I ventured to a nearby attraction. I'd love to go back and stay in Windsor for a long weekend and explore the city.

Yelp
My review is for the coliseum venue. 3-4 thousand seats. Easy in -out. Lots of ushers and security. Went to see train- awesome show ! Parking before show was a cluster mess. Found a street location after about 30 minutes of trying for parking structure.short beer lines & short restroom lines. Good acoustics ! Not in restrooms but in arena - lol

Brooke B.

Yelp
I stayed for the weekend they have good and okay service. The younger worker blonde who ids for the casino was rude asf everytime we got id. Everyone else just made us feel so welcome some of the workers only id and would even recognize u and just let us know in. she would stair u down and just dirty face and ask for id and credit card. Told her to have a great nice she gave other dirty look. im from Michigan and thats not how we treat people who are traveling from other countries. Other than that rude experience the hotel is nice but if your expecting to get into the pool forget booking this hotel i tried 16 times it was packed everytime then i went at 9:30 sat night the cleaning lady told me its closed i was so upset... cause it says 10 online. Casino is nice and hotel staff! I definitely give it that! For this being my first time in Canada im just not impressed...

Melinda E.

Yelp
I drove across the bridge from Detroit to check out this location (I do live in Vegas) because I wanted to gamble and see what kind of food/vibes they had to offer. It was a decent property, nothing spectacular but I did enjoy my time while there .

Heidi D.

Yelp
We spent about an hour trying to figure out where to park and how to check in. I have travelled enough over the years and have been to innumerable establishments in different countries but, Casino Windsor is as terrible as I have ever encountered, anywhere. There is simply inadequate direction for independent guests. There is poor signage, minimal and unfriendly staff and, in general, completely insufficient help way -finding in a ridiculous labyrinth only to end up 5 minutes from where we originally walked in. The first point of entry was where the lobby and check in point ought to have been.... it should have been at the round entrance on Riverside dr. Most hotels worldwide demonstrate this rationale. At that entrance sat a thoroughly uninterested security guard who tried to give us the 39 steps of directions to park and then get in! Honestly, it's utterly unacceptable. We have never been before so we were unaware of the rigmarole required to check in. We have mobility issues and given the state of affairs thus far, we did not feel comfortable allowing Caesar's employees to drive our expensive vehicle. Honestly Caesar's. This is a BIG thumbs down. What the heck are you thinking? Don't get me started on the elevators to the towers. We won't be back and won't be missed.

Rob K.

Yelp
I returned to Caesar's Windsor in November 2022 after a few year absence. My visit overall was ok but there is certainly room for improvement. We arrived around 8:30 on a Friday evening. There was a massive line for valet (approximately 30 minutes). Eventually we were able to drop the car, the valets all were very friendly but there was always a solid 10 minute wait in car retrieval. We had a two double bed room on the 11th floor of the Augusts Tower. It was clean and comfortable. Bathroom, especially the shower was smaller than a previous stay. Housekeeping is still not entering rooms during a guest stay. Wi-fi is non-existent both in the casino and hotel. I either couldn't connect, stay connected, or get dropped. It was bad. Overall, it's an ok stay. I just had higher expectations based on previous experiences.

Clayton H.

Yelp
I played blackjack with the (in between) side bet with dealer 4766 and he tried to smile in my face while attempting to under pay me 6times in a row. Once or twice could've been a mistake, but 6 times is intentional. Also I had been feeling the racial vibe all night. The nice acting racist are the worst kind. We know! Also I spoke with both casino managers who confirmed my experience. The male casino manager said he would discipline his 30year experienced dealer but they would not reimburse me a sandwich for my horrible experience at Caesar's Windsor casino. FTP!

Jessica N.

Yelp
We stayed here for our wedding night. My husband called before hand to confirm our booking & try to make it special for us when we arrived. The customer service rep was awful. Then the conceirge we left vm with never even called him back. They didn't warn us that the parking was blocked off for most of the parking garages due to renovations. Then they didn't congratulate us when we checked in. No room service option. No upgrades. When we traveled to niagra falls when we got engages the Best Western gave us coupons to use, recommended places to eat/visit & upgraded our room .I was unaware why at the time but they were phenomenal and cost way less than caesars! We had options too, caesars didn't have a jacuzzi and their rooms eith views are incredibly outdated. Also due to covid, they closed their buffet and never reopened. Just a dive nowadays. I regret not staying elsewhere. We were so bored we checked out by 10 a.m. ! Step your game up Windsor !

Chris P.

Yelp
I like coming here! Clean casino, hotel and friendly service! Great concerts that come through as well! There are different places to eat and different bars plus a Tim Horton's!

Shirley P.

Yelp
My partner and I came here to ring in the New Year. It's actually walking distance from our hotel. It's a huge casino with a colosseum where they have Ellie Goulding and someone else playing. They also have a sign saying 19 year old + can enter the premise, and they have security to card everyone to make sure you're of age to drink and gamble. Whereas in the states, we have to wait until 21. A ton of people were here for New Year's like us, so the lines to the bar and restaurants were super long. Kudos to the staff for working and doing their best to accommodate everyone. We ordered a drink each, walked around the slot machines, and headed over to one of their restaurants on premise called Legends. Next to Legends, there's a sign saying that there's a new addition come January 11th. It's the first in Ontario. It's two floors of entertainment, and you can definitely get lost wandering around. I think it's made to be like this, so you don't have a reason to leave. I do suggest checking it out during off times, so it's less packed.

Jerome C.

Yelp
This is the most pathetic Casino we have ever been at, there is very few customers in the casino, we came from Detroit, and were shocked with the table games, especially the craps table, it was $15, it's $5 at Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek Mi. The Slot machines were very tight, my wife did not win, and observed no one else winning either. So they give you a room for free, but they won't let you check in till 300p, at Firekeepers they let you check in when you arrive, The Hotel Front desk attendant (Rachel) was excellent, the craps table dealers from 12p to 8p were great, also table boss was fun interacting with table. My question: How is this Casino still open???? I heard they are trying to mirror the Detroit Casino, take a ride down to Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek may you will learn something. We have no intention of returning any time soon.

Yelp
Parking - Self Parking Free Valet - $10 per day Lobby / Reception Area: Huge Beautiful ambiance High ceiling Hotel Rooms: There are two towers locations Augustus Tower Forum Tower Good size rooms Wifi in the room - on and off signal Amenities: Fitness Area - Spacious , Great selections of equipment to use. Pool Area - Good size Hot Tub Area - Good size Bathroom / Changing room- Clean and spacious Restaurants: Few selections. There's a place for breakfasts lunch and dinner, Bars are open. Overall: Highly Recommended to stay at this luxury hotel.

Ana R.

Yelp
The rooms will not be serviced unless you formally requested. This information is not provided for you until you call to find out what happened. When it is service is poor. DO NOT ORDER ANY MIXED DRINKS AT THE LEGENDS BAR. We did and after we returned the drinks twice, we switched to wine. We have to say that service was wonderful. Kudos to servers that work so hard.

Phil M.

Yelp
We checked in 45 minutes before 3 and they charged us 20 extra dollars because it was before the 3:00 check in time. It immediately put a bad taste in my mouth. Our room was ready, but they said it was an extra 20 dollars anyway. We will never stay there again because of that. I've never heard of a casino hotel or any other hotel doing this. They've lost our business permanently. Our steaks at Neros restaurant were horrible. Bland and chewy.

Kevin G.

Yelp
I enjoy seeing some concerts here. The sound system could be louder. However, on multiple occasions I order a drink (liquor) and multiple different bars have no limes. Drives me absolutely nuts, every bar should have limes. Also, orderd a Diet Coke and did not know it was a Pepsi location. Had to kindly refuse after seeing the gun and switch to plain soda water.

Brandy T.

Yelp
Had a blast at Caesar Windsor for the weekend! Went for a bachelor/bachelorette party for my sister and her fiancé and it was a lot of fun! Didn't get pics of the room, but it was very nice in the Augustus tower. It had Both a stand up shower and tub which was super nice! We stayed out til 7am gambling lol rich little piggies was my favorite game!!! That game was shut down a few hours but otherwise, most the casino was open the whole time. All the staff were super friendly especially Sabrina and Mirjana who helped with our reward card points! Lots of security point ID checkers we're also very friendly and entertained our conversation which was nice. Had a great experience overall; can't wait to come back!!!

Patty K.

Yelp
This resort was much better under the old management. Resort fees, valet parking fees, restaurants that don't take resort comps. Slots are really tight too.

Jason Y.

Yelp
The nachos tastes like heaven and the games are the best.

Lori K.

Yelp
Considering the name, I expected a much better stay. granted it was quiet and clean but the services are lacking. The spa still isn't open, no room service, tv channel selection is awful. The staff was friendly and the valet parking price was very reasonable. If I had to go on business again, I would stay here. As a vacation, I would look elsewhere.

Mercedes V.

Yelp
From Detroit, we visited Windsor, Canada for a day trip. Went shopping to Devonshire Mall, had lunch at Spago in little Italy, then came across Caesar's Casino. Before we entered the casino, took a few pictures from the river walk. It was beautiful to see the Renaissance Center and other surrounding buildings of downtown Detroit. We can also see the Ambassador Bridge. After a lot of selfie pictures, we walked a few steps and entered the casino. There was a guard waiting and will ask for your valid id with picture. He reminded me that my license was expiring soon. Wow, observant and doing his job! We pass by the Johnny rockets, a bar area and then we saw the casino area with penny slots, cards and rollers. Free beverage. My husband liked the surrounding because the floor plan was better than Motor City Casino. Even when we got home, there was no smell of the casino in our clothes . You could eat at Spago, The buffet, or watch a game or concert in the other side of the casino's property. We did not check in so I couldn't say anything about rooms. But if you're on a day trip and not planning to spend on drinks and play by the penny slot machines... this is the casino to be!

Liz P.

Yelp
Caesars Windsor is a really nice casino. I don't think I realized until this time that it is smoke-free ... we were walking through the casino floor and I realized no one was smoking, and that the air smelled nice. A few random pros/cons about this casino/hotel (I've never stayed at the hotel part, though) - PROS: -Easy self-parking (and free) -The Colosseum hosts a lot of prominent artists. We were there to see Jim Gaffigan this time, my first time at the Colosseum. -Lots of restaurants, for a range of budgets - ie, ranges from Johnny Rockets to Nero's Steakhouse. We ate at Spago and the food was good, too. -Free beverage stations -Plentiful restrooms -Box office on site - my friend was able to get (either fee-free, or reduced-fee) tickets for another show she wanted to see. CONS: -Not a ton of Cashiers, and the machines only will vend you CAD ... if you need to convert from USD to CAD you can do that, but if you're looking to get your winnings in USD, you'll have to stop by a cashier. -Needs better signage - we wandered around for a while trying to find Spago. Overall I really enjoy this casino, especially compared to the smoky Detroit casinos, and will be back at some point.

Sama C.

Yelp
It's a Caesars owned casino with Canadian regulations. Therefore, alcohol is measured, no smoking inside, no pictures...just come here to drop some dough.

Elisa R.

Yelp
Lets be honest, this is the place to be if you love to gamble, and even if you don't, I'm sure that the lights and the atmosphere will fascinate you! The buffet is to die for. I would come here more often if I lived in Canada, haha

Ben H.

Yelp
I was in Windsor on business. I decided to go get a bite to eat. Glad I did - maybe I lucked out? I had the nicest waitress. I wished I would have seen her name tag. Very nice and very attentive. I dined sufficiently. I was pleased.

Erica G.

Yelp
I try to go to Caesars Windsor casino about twice a year! I enjoy the casino much more than the casinos in Detroit, mainly Bc there is no smoking. But I like the fact that there are different slots at the Caesars casino, than at the other casinos. And I also like the fact that I can purchase the lottery scratch off tickets at the casino as well. I've never stayed overnight in the hotel, however, I have eaten at Johnny Rockets, Legends Bar, and the Market Buffet, in which I liked all of the food. I really didn't have any complaints at any of the restaurants. I've also been to a show at the Colosseum before, and it was cool! I would like to check the Spa out there, and maybe one of the nightclubs. I was at the casino last weekend, and enjoyed myself. So I look forward to going back soon, and hopefully hitting big on the slots!

Jose S.

Yelp
All the good restaurants are either closed or changed beyond recognition. The machines that I used to enjoy are gone. After 3 years the place is totally different and not for the better. The ABSOLUTE WORST OF ALL is that when I tried to convert Canadian dollars back into US dollars, I was informed that they were no longer doing that. I had to go to a Currency Exchange all the way at Devonshire Mall to exchange my money. It is obvious that Americans are no longer encouraged to attend this once gorgeous attraction. Too bad.

Dana W.

Yelp
If you can't make it to Vegas, but want to experience the extravagance of the Vegas casinos, Casino Windsor will satisfy your needs. From the posh decor to the indulging buffet, this is the best option for the Vegas experience on the east side of North America. My personal favorite thing about this facility is that it is non-smoking. This means I can stay and play, and not walk out feeling like an ashtray! This is a rare perk these days, although I'm not sure why more establishments aren't on board. If you are staying overnight you will enjoy the accommodations. They are consistently remodeling to ensure that rooms and decor remain fresh, and the staff you encounter are friendly and welcoming. The beds are very comfortable, so much so that if you close the curtains and make the room dark, you can sleep for a LONG time! Trust me, it happens! When you wake and open the curtains you may be lucky enough to have a river view and you can see the city-scape. I've also been to several concerts and shows at the theater at Casino Windsor, and I have never been disappointed. They bring in some big name talent, and although the venue is large, there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. Tip: Take advantage of the free valet, it's definitely the way to go!

Zhi H.

Yelp
Went over to the Canada side while visiting Detroit. This Caesar is the same company as the one in Vegas and you'll be able to get your membership card here too. Only thing is the perks are different and independent of its own benefits. This place seems a little more rundown and not as glamorous as Vegas. Tough to compare though. Only 18+ allowed to walk through the casino. Unlike Vegas you can't walk through with children even if you're not going to stop anywhere there. Overall similar games and good service.

Sarah C.

Yelp
I'm not really a casino person, so I don't have much to say. We came here for a show at the coliseum (Price is Right Live) and the show was great. The theater was large, sound was good, and the screens were large enough for us to see the details we couldn't see from our seats. It was COLD in there though. Brrrrrr. We ordered some drinks from the bar, they were good, and the bartenders were funny. We each gambled with about $5, 3 of us lost, one won $9. Thats al I can really say ‍

M C.

Yelp
So we were stuck in the tunnel and outside of the tunnel into Canada for an hour, we were late for check in. I was sent a message earlier that my high room and my other requests were ready, when we got there there was an issue the rep got a manager and said they just put someone in I guess our room n then there weren't rooms I guess in what we chose. So the lady was kinds rude when she told us it's a low floor but a better room that cost 20.00 more, so I asked why would they give the room away n she stated they give them as people come in I told her about the message I received she said that was from a third party n I told her it was from the hotel. It took like 20 mins to check in. The service definitely isn't the same as In Vegas, the room they put us in wasn't checked there were in no trash bags, no coffee cream/sugar and internet is non existent. I ordered DoorDash they wouldn't put the person on the elevator to deliver the food they never called up to say that they wouldn't the DoorDash person kept trying to call me but the call kept dropping cause no Wi-Fi, I couldn't find the lobby and when asking the security guards they acted like they didn't know where the check in was either. When I finally found it my food was left on a table in the lobby the concierge didn't even have them leave it with them, I'm not sure I want to come here again. The room was ok it was supposed to be a luxury room, but it was just a room it was clean. Spago was great the highlight of the visit, the only issue is the tables are very close together so nothing romantic about it. Johnny Rockets was good but weird they brought out shakes and fries out, then 20 mins later our burgers(it was a good momma burger)when I asked about it she said fries are appetizers...huh? First impressions are everything I think the check in may have tarnished the whole experience, we didn't feel welcome, we were made to feel like they were doing us a favor by staying there, not for 750.00 for 2 nights, better service at Holiday Inns.

Patches O.

Yelp
Enjoyed a couple of nights in the Augustus Tower. Check in was easy, although the signage was a little confusing. "Line up here if you're a diamond member, gold and platinum over here". Too much blah blah, just help whoever comes first. The representative who signed us up for the rewards program was wonderful, she explained everything to us and was very pleasant. Food was good, rooms were clean. Carpet in the hall ways needs replacing, it's loose and a tripping hazard for possible drunks. The room was a little stuffy, the cooling was okay only would go down to 68° which is okay but it didn't seem like it. Didn't care for the pillows and the mattress was also not to my liking. Views were great, beds were ok and the casino is like any other. The grim reaper lurks about. So many old people hoping to hit it big.

Ferd D.

Yelp
No value here. Came for Blue Rodeo show AND my wife's 60th birthday. Nero's was good, great server, Bradley. Wi-fi was terrible, very poor check-in process and check-out very time consuming. Bring your own drinks and snacks. Serious lack of amenities compared to most casinos. No room service, fetch your own breakfast at the lame self serve breakfast area. (Self service, not a cafeteria but you go fetch your own food).Quality dining options are Limited to Nero's, and only if you want a 50$-75 meat entree. Left the show at 11and could hardly find an open snack bar or sundry shop. I have never been in such a marginally equipped retail space for a casino, especially. Another weird, off-putting aspect is they WILL NOT upgrade your room, even with an up charge, on a SHOW NIGHT. How stupid is this? Concierge desk not even mildly interested in making my wife's birthday anything remarkable on calls previous to arrival. "Can you call back when it isn't really snowy here"? Was one response. How about taking my number and calling ME? We won't go back, ever.

Retna S.

Yelp
Nice casino. Don't forget to stop by at Tom Horton for fresh donuts and amazing filled muffin. Very friendly staff. Nice view of the river and Detroit skyline.

Adam H.

Yelp
Fantastic establishment. Best part is it is completely non smoking. Not quite sure anyone can beat that. To top it off, alcohol was super affordable especially with the current exchange rate. We saw a concert here and the venue was nice. Acoustics seemed a little loud. Super clean establishment. Super friendly staff. Overall 5 stars.

Allison B.

Yelp
Caesars Windsor is the best casino in the area (in my opinion) - mostly because it's SMOKE FREE! We live in the Detroit suburbs and almost never go to the casino without crossing the river for this reason. In the spirit of disclosure, I'm not a big gambler, but my husband likes to so I've been to my fair share. Since it's in Canada, you can do some sports betting. Plus your dollar goes a little farther! In addition, a lot of the tables tend to have lower limits, which is great for more tentative gamblers like myself. They also have the best game of all time, Fortune Cup! :) This is a horse racing game with "live" miniature horses that can keep you entertained forever. The odds aren't great, but it's super fun, and you don't need to make big bets. MGM used to have this, but no longer... Even more reason to jump across to Windsor!

Rina M.

Yelp
For the price I'm little disappointed! The pillows Had stains on them and we were on the August's tower (the new tower)! Paid for the water view and got just a corner of the view! Nah not again :( The only good thing is you have walk-in restaurants and bars and if you are a gambler, the casino downstairs

Yelp
Glen at Cosmo's was an amazing bartender! It was my first time at Caesar's Windsor and he made me feel welcome. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
I was at the hotel for a professional conference. The conference rooms were what we needed them to be. It was one of the better conference facilities I have been to in a while. The room decor was dated. Technology upgrades are very much needed. No one needs a clock radio anymore; people need multiple electrical outlets and USB ports. The bathrooms were big, garden tub and shower. There were more than a few options for dining to fit most every budget. Gambling is not my thing, so I can't tell you anything about the casino. I walked through, and that's about the extent of my interaction. They were very strict about checking the IDs of people who don't look eighteen and are trying to walk through the casino. Other amenities include a business center on the third and a gym. The one thing I loved about my stay was my room had a beautiful view of the Windsor Shores. If you are flying in from Detroit the best option to get to the hotel is to rent a car and drive over. It will cost about $70 to come over by cab or shuttle Me and a few collegues rented a car from DTW and drove over the bridge. You can also take the tunnel. Hotel parking was free.

Yelp
I don't necessarily have a problem either this place, but it's layout for the second tower is crazy. You have to check in at the only lobby, then walk through the casino floor with luggage in hand to get to the second tower, which is pretty awkward. Another problem, the WiFi is pretty weak throughout, mainly if you're in your room. It may be listed as amenities, but if you're going to do it, do it right. The remodeled rooms are nice and I didn't have a problem with that at all. I appreciate having smoking rooms available since there's no smoking on the casino floor (another plus). I know they're probably getting back on their feet after the lockout, and I hope it comes sooner than later.

Yelp
Came here to lose a quick $40. Loved how the ATMs automatically converted cash into Canadian. Initially took out 40$ and bank got charged $37.50 US or something like that. Didn't really have the time to explore everything they had but did get to gamble a little bit. Only thing that sucked was that the lowest buy in they had was $15. I would of liked to see a $5 buy in, just so that I could of enjoyed my time losing a little more.

Yelp
In late September, I ventured on a road trip down to Windsor to see Tears for Fears at the Coliseum at Caesars Windsor. Tears for Fears had two shows in Ontario. The first was at Casino Rama the night before the duo played in Windsor. Technically, it would have been closer for me to go to Rama, but the seat selection was much better at the Coliseum. I got floor seats -- eight rows from the stage! My drive over to Windsor took a bit of time, especially through a ton of rain. Luckily, I managed to stop in Waterloo for lunch, and London to check in at my hotel and chill. I then headed over to Caesars Windsor. I knew that there was a parking lot where you could park and walk over to the casino. It was raining so hard that I decided to line up behind a ton of cars. It was for valet parking. Normally, I shy away from valet parking because there tends to be a charge associated with it. I looked up the details on my phone as I sat there in the car lineup. Free valet parking as a courtesy is what I had read. Wow! I was impressed. The woman who handled checking my car in was helpful and friendly. She directed me to where I should go after the show to fetch my car and to the doors that I needed to hit the Coliseum. I went inside the Coliseum. It's nice. Gorgeous! Naturally, you could buy drinks and hang out. The show was amazing. I loved being so close up. Everyone around me was into the music. It was an entertaining, memorable time. It was my first time seeing Tears for Fears. I am hoping that it isn't my last! After the show, I went to the area where you scan your valet ticket, which causes someone to magically fetch your car. Pretty cool! While waiting for my car, I took the elevator to the top floor of the Coliseum, just to browse. Thanks to my curiosity, I figured out where the merchandise table was! I got a t-shirt and headed back downstairs. I waited for my car. Naturally, there were a ton of concert folks also waiting for their cars. I would say that nearly half an hour later, my car came from the underground ramp. I could see it from the mirror. It then drove up next to me. I must admit that my car is breathtaking. Even the group standing next to me turned their heads at my car. Yep, it's my electric blue Scion iM and it's a good-looking car! I thanked the valet driver and tipped her. She wished me a pleasant evening. I did the same. I had a wonderful experience at Caesars Windsor. The next time I am in Windsor, I will consider staying at the hotel here. (12)

Yelp
Just a short drive over the bridge/tunnel from Detroit. Caesars Windsor is not comparable to Caesars Vegas. The shows and comedians that come are usually pretty good, B to C list. The rooms are nothing special, very basic even in the upgraded rooms, unlike Caesars Vegas. The staff and dealers are always friendly, and the table limits are always pretty low, you can always find a $10 craps or blackjack table on a busy Saturday. The drinking limit is 19 in Canada so you will always run into a kid from Detroit coming over to drink at the casino, usually very tame. I enjoy coming to Caesars Windsor Mainly because I won't leave smelling like a pack of cigarettes. The facility is no smoking, so you don't have to worry about someone next to you smoking cigarette after cigarette and blowing it in your face.
