Everything is really sweet!! The ube tres leche tastes pretty good but I can't finish it all in one go since it's so sweet. I personally didn't like the frosting (whipped ube halaya and a crunchy layer of cashew meringue) so I took it off. I liked that they put a lot of extra liquid for the cake to soak up. The ube latte was ok. Tasted really sweet and heavy for me so I wouldn't get it again.

Fun stop for an after-lunch treat. The Mermaid boba was fabulous - the mix of sea salt and jasmine tea was so unusual and delicious! We also tried the ube butter bars. Had great texture and interesting flavor, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff was super helpful with my first-time ordering questions. Welcoming seating areas to enjoy your goodies. You need to go!

My Sister in Law told us about Cafe 86. Very interesting and unique Cafe. Some delicious choices, you want them all, but you have to get just enough to keep the suspicion going. We have gone back three times since our first visit. This will be another monthly treat !!!

First of all, staff are friendly and helpful. I find everything too sweet , I still prefer the original Pinoy style halo halo , I find their halo halo too sweet and had too much ube, also had a distinct taste that i dont like, it had an overpowering taste of coconut milk .

Unfortunately, I was unimpressed by the milk tea. I just wanted black milk tea with boba and non-dairy creamer. That ended up being over $8! Non-dairy creamer, which is standard in most shops, is $1 extra for your choice of soy or almond. $1 boba is more standard, and the drink is very large, but too many shops still offer $6 drinks for this to be affordable. The milk tea itself had decent flavor and plenty of sweetness, but also had a fatty fruity taste. I wonder if the taro flavor was accidentally mixed into this batch. The boba pearls themselves were a bit firm and stale but had decent sweetness. The drink also had a grainy texture, which wasn't great. The shop itself is quite cute, my drink took less than 60 seconds to make, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a shame the drink was so expensive and underwhelming. At this rate, I'm inclined to go to Happy Lemon just a few doors down.

Nice spot for a quick ube grab-n-go. They've got a variety of desserts and drinks and they all taste excellent! Got myself the ube latte and the ube flavour really shines through! My friends had the coffee milk tea and the halo halo and they enjoyed their choices as well. Definitely coming back again to try out other stuff!

The first time I went I got their ube milk tea and was happy to see their wide variety of flavors on their menu. The staff were extremely nice and happy to answer my questions. The milk tea was very good, I loved it so much I came back the next week and got it again. I plan on going again today and trying something new 🫶

Went for their opening night! Tried the ube butter bar, the halo halo bread pudding, and the cali-mango slush. I liked the butter bar a lot (crumbly, not too sweet). The bread pudding was too much coconut for me and felt heavy, but my partner really liked it. The slush was unique because it had calamansi and I liked the flavour that added to the mango. Pretty small space so better for to-go orders. They have a pretty extensive menu and it all sounds really good, I'll definitely be back to try more!
