"Looking for a truly warm and expansive spot serving special Italian cuisine? Come to this rustic-chic café, prettified with double-height ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and an ample bar. There are two rooms, each long and narrow but wonderfully comfortable and always abuzz. Beautiful flower arrangements and large-format wine bottles put patrons in a specially festive mood.Thoughtfully arranged tables may be cradled with such impressively rich plates as sformatino di melanzane in a tomato-cream sauce crowned with burrata; followed by rigatoni al pomodoro, underscoring sweet and tart tomato sauce, basil, and EVOO. The Milanese with a wedge of lemon and freshly cracked black pepper is a textbook instance of simplicity being the peak of this elegant cooking." - Michelin Inspector

Delicious food and great service. Great cocktails as well.

This place immediately reminded me of a cozy NYC style Italian restaurant, but in suburban Scarsdale. Everything I ordered was delicious. I started with the Tortellini in Brodo and then had Chicken Milanese as my main course. Both were superb. My wife had the Cod Fish Salad which she raved about all night. Service was very attentive. Best part of this place was the energy. If you want a taste of NYC in suburbia, then this place is for you.

We shared a lovely dinner at Cafe Alaia. We began with 2 salads, the Mista and the Carciofi. Both were excellent. We also had the Sformatino di Malanzane as an appetizer. This delicious eggplant soufle with burrata and tomato sauce was my favorite dish of the evening. For entrees we had a special of prawns over diced potatos, Mezzanelli Salsiccia (a tube pasta with tomato sauce and spicy sausage meatballs, and Rigatoni alla Bolognese (substituting rigatoni for the tagliatelle on the menu). We all enjoyed our dinners and the service was prompt and friendly. We hope to return regularly.

Food and service is always amazing. The specials are always delicious. But the octopus is probably the best I have ever had outside of Lambs Club.

Came here on Saturday for lunch. Cozy place with comfortable tables. Very nice service, friendly staff. Food was good. We got stunned with eggplant souffle. Such an airy texture, good flavors and tomato sauce was just wow. Frittura Mista was amazing too. Nice and crispy zucchini, calamari were tender and aioli sauce was a great add on. Pasta was beautifully cooked, perfect al dente. I guess it's home made.

If you find yourself hungry in Scarsdale, make a bee line to Cafe Alaia. Warm and inviting modern rustic atmosphere with attentive staff, divine wines and in the summer, wonderful outdoor seating Al fresco. The sun dried tomato dipping sauce is mouth watering, the Caprese is as fresh as can be, however my personal favorite is the pappardelle Al Ragú di Agnello. Delizioso!

This was my first time there. Was recommend here by a friend and it did not disappoint. Really nice place with great tasting food & good drinks. Great variety of dishes. Wine list was great as well. We enjoyed the recommendations by our waiter, he helped pick out our wine. Then the owner came out to greet us and reccomend specials. We will be back again.

Very nice restaurant with a cozy setting and attentive service. All the dishes are really nice. We are glad to find such a nice restaurant in small town😋.

Yelp
A great spot all around. The ambiance is amazing. It is a fun spot to hang out at, whether you sit at a table or at the bar, this place is a lot of fun. The Polpo (grilled octopus) appetizer is fabulous! The red bell pepper sauce is amazing. If I could have the bread, I would have cleaned the plate off. I wish I could take that sauce to go. 10/10 The Costolette di Agnello alla Griglia (grilled rack of lamb) was very good. It was nice and juicy. The mint balsamic & herb reduction goes really well with the lamb. I recommend you eat this dish slowly and savor every bite. This dish has so much flavor that you might miss out if you devour it in a few bites. 9/10 Uma was behind the bar and was amazing. I told her about my dietary needs and she was helpful to accommodate my needs. A+ service. This place definitely earns their Michelin rating. They also have a large selection of burbon, whisky, scotches, gin, and tequila. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
What a lovely place! Service was wonderful and food was delicious. The homemade pasta was so well done. I started with a salad of warm beets, melty goat cheese and roasted almonds- it was so yummy. My husband had a pasta with lamb ragu for his appetizer (although that would've been a meal for me!). For entrees I had the spaghetti with seafood and he got more lamb. Everything was cooked well and tasted delicious. We'll be back!

Yelp
I love Cafe Alaia! I stopped by for dinner. I was planning on going to another nearby restaurant, but it was a holiday weekend. And, I ended up here. I was pleasantly surprised. Because it was a holiday, the restaurant was very quiet. But, the service and food was amazing! I had salad, bread and pasta. Everything I had was very fresh; I'd definitely come back here again to try more of their options. They have outdoor seating during the summer months. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy and had a relaxed vibe. This is a great spot to try for great Italian food! I'd highly recommend stopping by.

Yelp
Arrived at 6:00. Took 10 minutes to get a street parking space. That's why only 4 stars. That's the only con. As soon as we sat down our waiter filled our water glasses and brought over a bread basket and a dish of mildly spiced red sauce that was deliciously different. I rarely eat bread but I wound up having several pieces because of this different red sauce. for appetizers, we shared meatballs and an eggplant soufflé, which was over the top. For entrees we had home made lamb filled ravioli's, linguine with clams, muscles, shrimp and calamari. I had Rigatoni with fresh tomato and basel. I knew it would be great because of the red sauce that came with the bread basket. For dessert I had Zabaglione over strawberries and blueberries. Deeelicious. The chef came out of the kitchen and made the rounds of the tables which is always welcomed. First time but I'm definitely returning. Sal E. New Rochelle

Yelp
So had dinner last night after a fews days stopping in Scarsdale a new addition is the new manager Fabio from moscatos He runs a real good show Food was awesome as well as the drinks Service right on Few things. Took some time to get our cocktails and the food comes out real fast Very noisy as well Dont order all your door at one time

Mike C.

Yelp
Met my son and his gf here for dinner. Super Chic chill vibe here like NYC. They bring out the best tomato jam and bread ti table it's so dam good Started with zucchini flowers stuffed with crab meat. Nice concept but was kinda cold and not crispy. We ordered Mushroom crostini for table and it was amazing nice crusty bread with sautéed mushrooms. Also ordered eggplant soufflé topped with burrata . It was really original and very good . I ordered pappardelle lamb ragu and shaved pecorino. It was truly amazing. Creamy and pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection. Wife ordered the homemade ravioli stuffed with pumpkin and squash with a butter sauce. She loves it something different My son ordered the sea bass special. He said it good flavor but fish was a bit dry Place is a bit noisy and crowded but def a good vibe and food is amazing Parking on the street. Can be tough. Def will be returning

Yelp
Good surrounding and delicious food Highly recommended Hope to try other things next time

Yelp
This spot never disappoints! It's so fresh and so clean. The staff is amazing ! We were served by Geovanni (Geo) Saturday night - and even with a packed big energy restaurant- he was super attentive to us. We got the filet mignon and the salmon. Wow. Just wow. So flavorful and cooked exactly as you requested. Mine came with shaved potatoes and the seasoning was next level. It's a lovely delicious spot for any celebration or just a sweet casual meet up.

Yelp
My wife and I had the pleasure of having dinner here this past Thursday. Cafe Alaia is arguably one of the best restaurants in all of Westchester. I had their seafood pasta and a delicious bottle of the servers recommended wine and I was in total bliss. The service, decor and sumptuous cuisine is an outstanding experience that everyone should experience. This is the type of establishment that you can close your eyes and choose any meal on the menu that your fingers land on. I also loved how the chef went around every table and greeted the guests. It doesn't get any better than this . I'll be back here real soon

Valerie T.

Yelp
This is the fourth time I've eaten here. I've ordered different things each time and have not yet had a good meal. Last night I started with the caprese , which oddly was served with cherry tomatoes. There were two pieces of a larger tomato but were completely unripe. The entree I chose was Milanese. The chicken was dry and unseasoned . A few pieces of arugula were served on top. The chicken was so tasteless I didn't even take the leftovers home. I would love to know how this restaurant is so crowded with inferior food . At 100 dollars a person without alcohol , I think it's outrageous. Not too much to pay for delicious food but this is not it!

Amy P.

Yelp
Happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to try Café Alaia for the first time. We were hungry, and ordered the homemade Pappardelle with the lamb Ragu and the pasta with clam sauce. The bread that they put on the table was so crunchy and delicious, with a wonderful tomato based tapenade. Loved that! My pasta with the lamb Ragu was rich and delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked Al dente and was covered in a tangy lamb flavored sauce. Very filling. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the spaghetti with clam sauce. The sauce the pasta was in was garlicky delicious and almost drinkable! We used the crusty bread to soak it up. The plating was very well done. Our waitress was very friendly and nice and Overall, it was a wonderful experience

Yelp
Met some friends for dinner on a Thursday evening! Was lucky to grab a spot right in front! They say parking is tough, but it's definitely worth the wait for a spot! Walked in and we were immediately greeted. They served us some really great sun dried tomatoes purée for the bread! We started with drinks, of course! Then we had meatballs, the eggplant soufflés! Omg that was amazing! We then shared the parpardell with the lamb ragu! We ha a rainbow beet salad. And the side order of the best potato chips!!! Everything was cooked perfectly! Drinks were great! Service was excellent! Great spot! Gio was our server. And he was great! The owner checked in to make sure everything was good, and it was!

Samantha M.

Yelp
I love love love this place. Stopped by for coffees and a snack and not only was the food amazing but the wait staff was the nicest staff I've met. We'll be back soon

Sadia S.

Yelp
Authentic Italian restaurant with impeccably cooked pasta; every dish is delicious! The desserts, especially the tiramisu, stand out, a rarity in restaurants in the suburbs.

Marcus O.

Yelp
I write this review for Cafe Alaia's sibling restaurant on Garth road as I do not see a separate listing for Aperiti? Aperiti is located in the original Cafe Alaia restaurant at 66 Garth Rd. and is smaller and more casual than the expanded Cafe Alaia. Nevertheless it offers the same upscale and well prepared food and service with some great small plates or full entree options. The service is kind and caring and the smaller menus is very well implemented. The lamb meatballs are great and there are wonderful wines by the glass. Our pasta dish of Cavatelli Salsiccia with sausage and mushrooms was excellent. I highly recommend this great small place with indoor or outdoor seating.

Leslie H.

Yelp
Still delicious! In a larger space just down the street, the service was wonderful, the food was all really good (starting with the bread and sun dried tomato dip!). The seating was comfortable spread out. A really perfect night out

John N.

Yelp
First off, the owner Vincenzo is from Italy and so he and I hit it off since we spoke Italian and discussed what best to eat that evening. Typical Italian dialog...food first, then politics, sports or whatever. He has a chef from Italy in the back and you can tell by the food. We've now been back twice and the quality has not changed. I don't think you will be disappointed with any pasta dish. My wife had fish and my daughter had a veggie meal. Both said they had an enjoyable meal. A winner.

John C.

Yelp
The place was a nice upbeat vibe from the time I walked in. Sat in a table by the door it was a little cold as people came in and out. The staff was very nice and service was great. There was eight of us and all the appetizers they were great fried calamari was delicious. The shrimp and the bean dish was good but the shrimp was very small. Fresh mozzarella was also very good but all portions were small. Main course was great had a pasta dish. The sauce was amazing and the portion was good also had stuffed raviolis that were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their main course. The restaurant was great but not cheap. Overall, I would recommend this place is a great place to eat .

Erika D.

Yelp
Last few times I have come here I have been disappointed. Soup was cold and so was my vegetable lasagna .. service subpar for the $$$

Yelp
It's no secret Alaia has been making some waves on Garth Rd in Scarsdale for a few years now. And on a relaxing, post-New Year's day, decided to bring home a few bites. Café Alaia hits a rustic-industrial look with two socially-distanced dining areas with the bar dividing them. Menu is straightforward and settled on Fried Calamari and 'Crispy Artichoke' Salad (as menu states). Owner? was pleasant and mentioned the 10 minute wait. Cool. After $38, all I wanted to do at home was pause for a moment and dive into my heaping plate of Fried Calamari and Crispy Artichoke salad. Let me expand: First- Alaia's $18 batch, is nothing else but rings. The things is....I like heads on my calamari. Although tasty, I will also mention the crisp, flaky breading, provided a nice complement to the Calamari and made for a wonderful and pleasing crunch. And second, $16 'Crispy Artichokes' in my salad were the marinated type ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I expected a higher-end calamari and salad dish because of Alaia's exclusive location and hefty price tag. Instead, all I got were just fried calamari rings I could've easily gotten from around the way or a chain spot. Who knows... maybe other items are prepped better than this.

Yelp
decent italian food - probably at the top end of what you can get (with the limited options) in westchester. high prices and mixed service. I came here for my girlfriend's mother's birthday. She picked out the place and was excited to come. Unfortunately the menu universally contained allergens that the staff seemed unable to adjust or remove. We spent a considerable time trying to understand what she could eat and why basic changes couldn't be made. In the end, the staff managed to put together something that made her happy, but the trouble cut into the experience. the menu is medium length, with options including pastas, salads, proteins, and various antipasti and appetizers. everything seemed wildly overpriced ($30 for pasta). The food was above average and the ambiance was nice. The staff are clearly trained to execute "fine dining" (whatever that means), regardless of the fact that it seems out of place for a small suburb joint like this. It advanced the experience slightly, though.

Bill S.

Yelp
A friend told me about a restaurant in Westchester that has the best Bolognese. She never mentioned it's also listed in the Michelin Guide's New York restaurants to visit. I live on Long Island but I'm vacationing in the Hudson Valley. For my birthday I would like to dine at Café Alaia. Our waiter shows us to our table. He's very knowledgeable on wines and the menu specials. We started with some Italian Wines. My red was silky smooth, its an Italian Wine recommended by our waiter. He mentioned the restaurant specialty is Stuffed Zucchini flowers. This is a mediterranean dish, there are Turkish and Greek versions but my favorite is the Cafe Alaia Italian version. My wife and I were floored over the delicate preparation of this dish. We also ordered the Polpo alla Griglia, a marinated grilled octopus over potato & green bean salad. Another starter that was deelish! I decided to split Tagliatelle alla Bolognese into two bowls and order a large Branzino. The homemade tagliatelle is tossed with beef ragu. Not too creamy, this was a rustic dish that was made perfectly. I wish I had Cafe Alaia close to my home, this was an outrageous dish that I would devour weekly. While we're dining, the owner Vincenzo comes into the dining room. He's looking like Ninja in his black chefs coat. He walks over and asks how is everything? We give a thumbs up, this was just a perfect ending to our day. I understand Cafe Alaia is moving to a larger location. From the amazing food to excellent wine selection, Cafe Alaia is a restaurant destination to discover.

Alexia R.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here tonight for the first time and WOW! We were blown away by the delicious and fresh food as well as the kind staff . They really went above and beyond! Restaurant was clean and inviting ! We can't wait to go back!

lisa l.

Yelp
Had dinner here for the first time. Food was very good. Next time I hope to return and try the pasta and meat dishes. Thank you for the birthday singing.

Genevieve K.

Yelp
Delicious food, great staff and amazing atmosphere! Attention to detail is Lovley Very cozy, clean and beautiful. Finding parking is tough at certain times but not impossible. Great music and interesting wine list!

John M.

Yelp
A hidden Gem on Garth Road.... Good Selection of Wines and a pretty well rounded menu of Italian Classics as well as some creative dishes.

Ron P.

Yelp
Out for dinner and despite the parking difficulties in this part of Scarsdale, we managed to snag a spot. I would describe the vibe as NYC Chic with a warehousey look and a decent sized bar. We ordered a round of drinks which were delivered promptly and then a few more minutes to decide between menu items or specials and away we go. Between 4 people, we got 3 different appetizers and 3 different entrees...no we didn't skimp on the ordering, it was simply a matter of duplication. I got to try 2 appetizers and all 3 entrees and I after pondering for a couple of days now, I wish I could have given the coveted 5th star but I felt like the food was just a bit bland for my (and most of my companions) tastes. Service is awesome, the best I've had in years and unlike anything else around. I think if I return, I will sit at the bar, order some drinks and some nibbles and call it a day!

Barbara A.

Yelp
Absolutely delish! Great service. Excellent atmosphere. The wine recommendation was perfect.

Cate E.

Yelp
I've always had really great food and service when dining here. I've come during the week and on busy weekend nights. The tables are a little small/close together, but with all the apartments on Garth Rd. I'm not surprised they need to utilize all the room in the restaurant. I guess the reviews regarding the service being terrible and the food being meh were old because every time I've been here the service has been wonderful. The food is fresh and comes in a timely manner. Pro tip-you can order their homemade bruschetta by the jar!

Antonella R.

Yelp
Access was denied for my service dog and me by the owner Vincenzo Alaia It was a very embarrassing situation. We made a reservation and we were ready to enjoy the evening with a dear friend of mine, old customer of this restaurant (she made the reservation.). But when we were there he saw my service dog and denied the entrance. No way to tell him we have all the papers and what is was doing was against federal law and not compliant with ADA. He was very rude to us and told "in my restaurant I do what I want and you can call who wants but you don't enter here with your dog". We left to avoid additional stress. We will never go back to this restaurant and we do not recommend this place to anyone for the rude attitude of his owner

Marios D.

Yelp
Early dinner with no reservations...and it was really very busy. Good service and good food. Started with the octopus. It was tender and the size was ok. Nice accompaniments but definitely needed the lemon to draw out the taste. Beet salad was great. Frisée and a little goat cheese. Could have used a little more dressing and certainly more cheese. Chicken liver was a pate with wilted onion. The bread it was served on got the sauce from the livers but the crust was very hard. Pappardelle Pasta with lamb ragu was terrific. Not too oily. Nice balance and richness. The Pappardelle was perfectly cooked and the portion size average. Very tasty. A special dish was the Swordfish with saffron lemon sauce and broccoli rabe with roasted potatoes. Excellent cut of fish cooked moist on a generous bed of br. Sauce was tangy and accompanied the fish well. I recommend this place.

Saul M.

Yelp
Stopped by Friday afternoon for an espresso and Tiramisu - sat in the shade outside in 94* heat but still enjoyed the respite. Santos our waiter gave us excellent friendly and attentive service. Most impressed Thank you.

Nicole G.

Yelp
I went back here over the weekend and it did not impress as much as it did previously. The staff was great but the food & portions left much to be desired. We ordered the rigatoni, ravioli, and shrimp with beans. The rigatoni was good and pretty tasty. The ravioli was a special for the day so I decided to try it. When I got the plate, there were no joke 6 or 7 raviolis on my plate. It was gorgeous to look at but after eating my meal I needed one and a half bread baskets to fill me up. The flavors weren't anything super special, if anything it was a tad over cooked. Definitely not worth it for 6 pieces of ravioli. The shrimp was good, again a small dish but pretty filling! The beans were delicious but we wished there was more flavor in the meal. Overall, will probably come back but only for a handful of specific dishes.

Phil C.

Yelp
Went early in the evening while they were fairly empty. Food was hot and delicious. Started with the Gamberi e Fagioli - seasoned grilled shrimp over cannellini beans and Polpette al Sugo - beef meatballs in tomato sauce and buffalo ricotta. Both were good. Tagliatelle alla Bolognese - homemade tagliatelle with beef ragu and Tortellini Al Formaggio E Prosciutto - homemade grana tortellini, fontina & talleggio sauce, parmacotto ham & peas. Again, hits for us. Expensive but glad we came. I want to try the whole menu.

Marie H.

Yelp
Live on Garth Road and first time at Cafe Alaia over Labor Day weekend with a friend from West Village. Staff are well trained and knowledgeable. The mixed salad was very tasty and plentiful. But the menu is what will bring me back!!! I had tortallio fontina with tallaggio sauce, prosciutto, ham and peas and my taste buds were delighted. Select wine list was good and fairly priced Peaceful and attentive atmosphere! HAPPY SENIOR

jane s.

Yelp
We stopped in for dinner on Friday without a reservation and were quickly seated. The waiter came over to ask us if we wanted a drink. We told the waiter we would order wine with the main entrees. After the order was placed we NEVER saw the waiter again until we finished our dinner. I understand the restaurant was busy. However, you would think the waiter would have stopped over to ask if everything was okay. Every time we needed something such as pepper for the salad we ask the first server we saw. The waiter didn't return to take our wine order. We asked another server for the menu to order wine and a different server brought the wine. When the server brought the main entrees, we asked the server for extra cheese and salt. We ordered the Mista Salad with a light lemon vinaigrette. The salad was a nice mix of greens. Please check the salad leaves before you serve it. The salad had a fair amount of mushy leaves and the vinaigrette had absolutely no taste of even a hint of lemon. The lamb ragu entrees were tasty and cooked just right. After we finished the meal the waiter, yes the waiter finally returned to our table and asked us how everything was. We asked the waiter for the dessert menu and he told us the items available. As soon as the waiter finished telling us the list of items he walked away to give the table across from us their check. He didn't say excuse me, he just walked away and returned. We ordered the pear tart which was good but a little too sweet for our taste. While we were eating the pear tart the waiter brought our check and the owner brought back the chair he removed when we were seated. Obviously it was a hint to finish and leave. I would give all of the servers that brought us our requests for salt, pepper, cheese, wine etc., a 9 and the waiter a 4. Overall, experience was just okay.

Ally B.

Yelp
The food tasted so fresh and was incredible. I came here with a party and the staff was great and attentive. The food was outstanding!

Edward K.

Yelp
Great food and great experience all around. We've been here 5 or 6 times. Consistent quality and service. Check it out.

Elle D.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place since all of the reviews are positive and rave about the food. The restaurant itself is beautiful and there was great ambience. The service was ok until the waiter never came back after our entrees were cleaned off the table. The food honestly was not the best it lacked flavor and was not impressive. There are far more better Italian restaurants in Westchester so I don't think I will come back for the food.

Joseph F.

Yelp
Food is consistently incredible. Pasta is perfectly cooked. Love the specials. Staff was amazing

Nella F.

Yelp
Man is rude and condescending. He throws you out if you stay at your table and he wants it. Avoid him and his antics imho. He owns another cage up the block. They put tables on the street blocking other peoples' store windows and sidewalk. Unfair. Overpriced.

Sabrina M.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant on Friday. The ambience is a combination of rustic and upscale. The restaurant was decorated well and was aesthetically pleasing. We were seated within minutes and the owner I believe was conscientious that the original table he seated us at was a tight fit and gave us a more comfortable table which we really appreciated. The waiter was hospitable and knew the menu well. My boyfriend and I ordered the mussels to start. I ordered the orata fish and he ordered the rack of lamb for entrees. The food came out fairly quickly. The mussels were extremely fresh and prepared well. My boyfriends rack of lamb was cooked to perfection. The only reason I couldn't give five starts was because I felt my orata fish dish was lacking in flavor a bit. Otherwise I had a great experience at this restaurant and would recommend for people to give it a try !

Vincenzo A.

Yelp
This is the first time in our life that a restaurant refuses us to sit with a reservation because we had a service dog (not an emotional dog but a certified dog by ADA) with us. The restaurant's owner Vincenzo was very rude with us and tried to find different justifications and he didn't want to listen our complains when we told him he was doing something against the US federal law (even if we showed him the ADA service ID card and the text of the law. We decided to leave the place after he embarrassed us asking which kind of disability we had to have a service dog with us. This was another violation of the law. Of course this is not the end, as we will proceed with a formal complaint (or even a lawsuit) to this restaurant through the competent institutions. It is unlawful to discriminate against a person who is enjoying or seeking to enjoy a place of public accommodation (including a public entity) solely because that person has a disability and is accompanied by a guide dog, hearing dog, or other service animal. Americans with Disabilities Act 42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq.; 28 C.F.R. Part 35 and Part 36, 36.302(c)(1); 49 U.S.C. 41705 . We will never come back even without our service dog!

Agent D.

Yelp
The best dining experience around. Definitely worth the steep price because each plate of food is made with exceptional quality and care. It tastes like your mothers home cooking on another level.

Marc K.

Yelp
Went on Valentines Day and it was brimmed with tables of 2 packed so tight that generously sized patrons might feel like they are in a life size pachinko machine. I do not know if it's like that all nights, but maybe avoid salt and other bloating spices that could perniciously adversely impact your girth. The lighting is almost acceptable but slightly on the dim side. The acoustics were surprisingly ok, hat-tip to the owner who put the right cladding and paint on the wall and ceiling. The bar had only a few seats, and if you're hobbit-sized, they will prove right-sized-- albeit no room for the large mushroom to the side. The food was stupendous. The salpambuco veal was smallish but amazingly, the breading was neither too thick nor thin and the veal itself was cooked to perfection. It was not the largest portion--and upon getting home I did woof down a leftover kahuna burger from night before. The accompanying potatoes were ideal. Browned just right and expertly cooked within. The spices atop were on spot. We got the meatball appetizer and it was a nice size--4 1.25-inch spheres sitting in 1/2 inch of sauce and a doll up of cheese. Holy cow, I'd come back for these on some bread another time. Anyways, some serious handwringing over 3 or 4 stars. The sardine-can patron packing, and somewhat Lilliputian portions had me edging to the 3, but the food was sooooo good that it just didn't feel right.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Great place open for lunch & dinner! Fantastic sundried spread for bread with meals. Wonderful appetizer eggplant mousse & great linguine with clams. Highly recommended!

Ettore N.

Yelp
The BEST ITALIAN experience EVER. If you are Italian you have to eat here. You wouldn't miss your country. If you are not Italian, we'll sorry for you, but you HAVE to eat here because it is going to be like you are in Campania. Just don't miss it!

Linda F.

Yelp
The food is amazing and the service quite friendly and efficient. We met the chef on our way our and he tole us it is the only restaurant in Westchester with a chef from Italy. He is top notch. We had octopus, cucumber salad, Branzino, and spinach. All excellent. It is a little noisy but the food is supeerb.

Giovanna L.
