Cafe Americano

This is a cute, trendy little restaurant. The service was friendly and helpful - even though our server did seem to get a little aggravated when one of the people I was with changed their order. He'd JUST walked away from the table so it wasn't like the food was already being prepared. We ordered guacamole & chips, a mimosa, a garlic shrimp bowl, an omelet, a continental breakfast, a chocolate milkshake, and a coffee drink. The mimosa wasn't my favorite. I like a little more balance between the alcohol and juice. The milkshake was pretty good. Very rich. All of the food was good, even though some could have used more seasoning. The garlic shrimp bowl was not super flavorful. It was just okay. The croissant that came with the continental breakfast was light and flaky. The guacamole was really good. The chips that came with it were not. They were either way too hard or flimsy/rubbery. They didn't actually taste bad. They just had a weird consistency. The biggest drawback for me was the price. For what we spent, I'd expect every dish to knock it out of the park but that didn't happen. Nothing was outright bad. It was all just okay. Not sure I'd visit again the next time I'm in town unless the prices were lower.

Very casual atmosphere, with a sophisticated staff, and well-rounded menu. By the name, you might guess that the restaurant is an Italian restaurant, highly Americanized. You would be correct. Although there are definitely some non-Italian items on the menu, for example, a smash burger. I will definitely come back. It's a keeper!

We both had the All American breakfast. Bacon and bfast potatoes were delicious!! Service was prompt and friendly. Soda in glass bottles. Coffee hot and fresh. Located on 3rd floor. Would definitely recommend. Hope to come back in future.

Our dinner at Cafe Americano was beyond words! 10/10 recommend. My wife and I just got married over the weekend and we did a mini honeymoon for a few days in brickel because our big honeymoon is this summer. We had a reservation at another restaurant but because we stayed at EAST Miami, we decided to change last minute because this had amazing reviews and was a short walk away. The staff at Cafe Americano was phenomenal. When I made my reservation on open table( just 2 hours prior) I asked if they could bring out a special dessert at the end of the night for us. The manager here (so sorry I can’t remember his name) went above and beyond for us. When we sat down he brought us a bottle of champagne with a rose in the ice. Then for our app we ordered a pizza( one of the best ever) and they made the pesto and tomatoes in the shape of a heart. Then at the end of the night brought out a dessert plate with 3 different desserts and a sweet message written in chocolate. I was so blow away by the kindness and thoughtfulness of the whole staff. All the food was 10/10, the atmosphere was beautiful, and service was amazing. I recommend this restaurant to anyone, great food, service and atmosphere. Can’t ask for anything more! Thanks again guys for all you did, we’ll never forget that night.

It was our first time visiting, and I can confidently say this is one of the best spots for breakfast. The portions aren’t large, but they’re satisfying — you leave feeling full and content. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, capturing that true Miami vibe. The coffee was also perfect — light, smooth, and flavorful. A solid 10/10 experience😊

Our drinks and appetizers arrived promptly, and our server checked in regularly—but never intrusively—to ensure everything met our expectations. Whether it was refilling our drinks without being asked or remembering who ordered what without hesitation, Ishmael provided service that was both efficient and warm. This is definitely a more tourist restaurant but it is very good! Prices are kind of $$ but it’s Miami so it’s expected. There is a service charge added to your bill so keep that in mind. I had their burger and chicken parm which were both delicious. Staff is very friendly! I recommend even if it’s for HH, worth a try!

We were at City Place and decided to grab breakfast since most of the stores were still closed. Café Americano caught our eye. Good thing it did because it did not disappoint. To start I ordered a decaf cappuccino with almond milk. It was perfect! Some times heated almond milk can have a funky taste and this one did not. The cappuccino was so tasty I did not add any sugar to it. My husband and I both ordered the Denver omelette without cheese. It was filling, not greasy, and delicious. The roasted potatoes were also not greasy and crispy. We found the portions to be just right. Not a crazy amount of potatoes. The slice of sourdough bread that came with my meal was light and crispy on the edges. My husband had the gluten free bread and he also enjoyed it. The menu does have Vegan and Gluten free options marked. It's also important to note that the bill does come with an 18% tip included. Our waiter was very attentive, so we added an additional tip. If you're in the area and craving healthy breakfast options, give this place a try. They have avocado toasts and even açaí bowls. We were pleasantly surprised!

First thing when you walk in is the aesthetics of the place is beautiful. A great place to have brunch or host an event like celebrate your birthday. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu and checked on us frequently to ensure we were good. The food came out fresh and hot. The food was a great portion size. I love how they serve their tea very classy reminds you of the show Bridgerton. There's an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill.

The best breakfast I could find in the area. They have great menu options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is great. I had the tres leches french toast and I was not disappointed. The drinks are very well made and the restaurant is cozy and beautifully decorated. We sat "outside" which is still indoors since it's in a shopping center. Great dining experience!

Richie was very nice, we have a good time! Café Americano is a cozy spot with a laid-back atmosphere and great coffee. Asked for my steak medium it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Ceviche sliders topped with a lot of fish and shrimp, very good. Also got the pancakes which had a great syrup and were huge! Went on a Saturday morning so they were pretty busy but the food came out quickly. Sat outside but inside looked very cute and cozy.

Cristian is an amazing bartender and took excellent care of us. Best happy hour in Miami!

Went for Lunch on a beautiful/very busy Dec. Sunday afternoon. First time there, very cute restaurant on the 3rd floor of Brickell City Place, they have outdoor and indoor seating. I wanted Lunch and had The Taco Birria, 3 delicious tacos nicely stuffed with meat. My wife and sister noticed that they were also serving breakfast/brunch , they ordered the All American and Classic Eggs Benedict, both enjoyed their meal. Had Fried Calamari as appetizer and a chocolate cake with marshmallows for desert, all was very good. Expect average $30 person for lunch/brunch plus drinks. Service was very pleasant, and they do include an automatic tip.

Incredible food and I went to 2 of their locations. Here, I enjoyed the best POKE Bowl ever; hands down. Get the salmon option! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere. A bit trendy for my taste but it was a fun spot near all the shops. I don't remember what my friend ordered but I did hear her say "MMMMM" a lot.

A nice restaurant option in brickell city center. Slightly upscale but casual ambiance with the option to sit "outside" in the mall too. The menu was American food with latin flare. I had the spicy crispy chicken sandwich which was just like the name, spicy and crispy with tender meat on the inside! Bun was soft and sandwich had good flavor. It came with crispy yucca fries- yum! The service was great and the manager and waitress were very accommodating. We wanted to sit outside but there were no tables and the inside was a bit loud so they turned down the music on our side of the restaurant. I also can't have dairy so they subbed out the avocado ranch for another sauce they had. :)

Cafe Americano Brickell is located on the third floor of the Brickell City Centre. It has an upscale vibe but also fits comfortably with a casual vibe. This is a great spot to check out if you're looking for a quick bite, coffee, or even dinner. The menu has great options and the food is tasty! The chicken from the chicken and waffles is warm, juicy, and just the way I enjoy my chicken. The spicy syrup served with it does have a kick so if you're not into that, just a heads up :) The service was quick, attentive, and comfortable. Really enjoyed my meal here at this spot and was happy with the outdoor seating. There is also seating available indoors too. If you're in the area and looking for a nice, quick meal, this is worth checking out.

Delicious food and great ambience. The place is beautifully decorated and gives off a very calm vibe. All the food we ordered was delicious as well as the drinks. The server was attentive and quick. Would recommend checking it out during brunch.

I had been to the cafe americano in Miami Beach but never to the one recently opened in Brickell. The service was great, we got to pick our table because they were not very busy. Our waiter was excellent and had great recommendations. Our food came out quickly. The side salad was light but had good flavor and tasted really fresh. The pizza was very tasty as well. The drinks were awesome as well as the vibes! Calm atmosphere with good music and good food. A perfect place to stop if you're out and about in Brickell.

We are here evacuating from Hurricane Milton and we're looking for somewhere nice to dine for breakfast. Cafe Americano hit spot! Great ambiance, loved the music and the food was top notch. Everything was so good I forgot to take pics of the food. We ordered the Belgian waffle, American breakfast and classic French toast. I also had the Bellini. Everything was perfect! Topped off by great service! I would definitely return.

I stopped in at Café Americano during lunch time and happy hour. I sat at the bar. The bartender gave me a lunch menu, I had to ask for the happy hour menu. I notice that a few restaurants that I went to while I was in Miami that you have to ask for the happy hour menu, they do not just give it to you like they do the regular menus. I ordered the Baja Chicken Tacos and the Blueberry Lemon Drop. You get two tacos. The tacos were good it had chicken, black beans, cheese, spicy mayo and avocado. The tacos come with bacon on them also, but I do not eat pork. The lemon drop was fire.

Food was excellent. I really enjoyed the avocado burrata toast with a poached egg on top and my husband thought the Birra tacos were great. You can't beat the unlimited mimosa deal for $25 and our server, Vincenzo, was very attentive. The playlist is a great added bonus. Can't wait to come back!

I had a really nice brunch at cafe americano. What I like most about it is that it feels approachable and casual enough for a regular weekend or weekday meal, unlike a lot of the restaurants in brickell which are overly fancy and stuffy. It has a diner-type vibe while still feeling classy and nice enough for a fun dinner with friends. We went for brunch and it hit the spot. The food wasn't anything to write home about but it was perfectly good. It was definitely a little pricy for what we got. There are a lot of options on the menu for everyone - lots of hearty meals but also great salad options

I had the avocado toast here which was decent. Ambiance is nice with the outside tables. Seemed pricey for an avocado toast but was a good experience overall.

The service was good. The food was good. Played it very nicely. 18% gratuity is included and it's posted everywhere. so it's hard to miss. I had the bagels and lox was very good. I like how they separated everything and allowed you to build your own. At lunch, they have a special combo that comes with appetizer entrée and dessert, for $30. This was a good option if you're hungry in it was filling. We sat outside in the mall area. I must say it was very clean and surprisingly fly free. their drinks were very good. Very refreshing. I would not give this place for stars. It is a little expensive, two drinks, two entrées at lunch. I still would recommend this restaurant.And

Horrible. It's 11:00 am and I was discriminated as being intoxicated just because I have a small limp and was denied drinks at the restaurant. The staff was unapologetic and I will make sure anyone who comes to Miami gets knowledge of their despicable behavior. Will never set foot again. Terrible experience.

Service: 5 Staff was friendly, checked in at appropriate times to make sure everything was good, and felt attentive but not rushed. Food: 4 The chicken and waffles overall was good, but I don't think I would order it again. The chicken was well seasoned, cooked perfectly so that it was still moist and juicy on the inside with a good fried batter on the outside. The spicy syrup was on the side, which is nice to control. But the waffle had no flavor by itself, and since the spicy flavor in the syrup overpowered the sweetness in the syrup, I felt like I couldn't put too much on the waffle, so my bite of the waffle, chicken, and syrup tasted a bit off balance. But I definitely would come back to try the chicken sandwich, since the chicken was delicious. Ambiance: 5 We ate outside, which is technically part of the mall, but the inside looked cute and the silverware was actually gold with cloth napkins so pretty nice. Would recommend and go back to try other items on the menu!

I really enjoy Cafe Americano in Brickell City Center. It has such a cute little diner feel to it. The food and service are very consistent. I've had breakfast and lunch here and enjoyed both meals. It's also great for people watching. I'm giving it 4 stars only because it's not what I'd call fine dining, but it's totally a solid choice.

Amazing service & food! My server was Rob, and he was extremely helpful and time-friendly. I started off with the 'Quessabirria Flautas' as my appetizer and then finished it off the 'Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich.' I was skeptical at first because it was my first time trying the restaurant and I'm a picky eater but in the end, it was amazing with such an amazing surprise! I totally recommend. Super tasty, affordable, and lovely time!

My friend was disappointed they were out of the cauliflower dish he wanted, but we both were happy with our meals. The Vodka Rigatoni was absolutely delicious! I found myself eating the leftover sauce at the end because it was so good!

Honestly I have never been so disappointed with a restaurant especially for the location being in Brickell it was upsetting. The beets appetizer was crazy the flavor was all over the place. The pesto pasta was super dry & you couldn't even taste the pesto it was jus green. The cauliflower parm was dry as well. The presentation on all the dishes were so mediocre & sloppy. The location is cute but don't be fool the food sucks sadly.

We were greeted by a very happy Tricia when we 1st arrived. Our waiter Vincenzo was very attentive and great overall. The drinks ( nonalcoholic and alcohol) were definitely tasty.The food portion size was surprising and tasted great. We loved being able to have brunch on a Friday.

This restaurant is like the hidden gem of Brickell. They open at 9 am which is super early compared to the places near around the area. They have bottomless brunch until 4pm. I loved the calm aesthetic of the restaurant and our server Daniel was super knowledgeable of the menu and very sweet. We can't wait to come back for brunch to enjoy their bottomless mimosas.

Veronica is the best waitress ever! She helped inform us on the best choices on the menu (fixed lunch or chiliques) and made sure our drinks were always filled. If every waitress was like this the world would be a better place.

Good food, location is good. Definitely suggest the French toast! The CA sandwich was not that great. In general portions are on the larger side.

Dear Deiby, our server was incredible. His care and energy were so pure. It instantly helped make our experience at Cafe Americani the best of the trip to Miami. This is a great spot to start your day with an incredible open-air view of the downtown Brickell area.

We walked in for a quick drink and were blown away at how beautiful the bar was. The bar manager, John, was absolutely amazing. He gave us phenomenal service and his drinks were truly mind blowing. They were so eclectic and delicious. I didn't get a chance to try the food but the service and the drinks were good enough to make me want to come back immediately. They recently opened and are incorporating a happy hour soon. The cocktails were a spin off of the usual Cafe Americano cocktails, but the new menu is soo good. If you get a chance, check them out

Café Americano checked off all my boxes! The entire staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all questions I had pertaining to the menu. I ordered the Tres Leches French Toast, the Rancheros Benedict, and a Smash Burger. E V E R Y T H I N G was finger lickiń good. We also ordered a passion fruit Martini and a Cherry Mule, both drinks were delish. I'll deff be dining at Cafe Americano again!

Burger was mid - service was excellent- good beer selection- nice spot in the mall - indoor and mall area seating is nice - can't say enough for the service the bartender provided - I will go back for drinks and to try something else on the menu.

I was pleasantly surprised how good this Restaurant is along with the amazing quality of their delicious meals. Joaquin was our server and he took great care of us and made excellent suggestions. I hade the Tuna Poke Bowl, which was absolutely amazing. Fresh , delicious, and made taste buds were going crazy for more. If you are looking for an exceptional dining experience at Brickell City Center, Cafe Americano is your place. Also, good for your wallet.

It was so good. Good service. 10/10 mocktails. The burger was very delicious. Had a lot of flavor.

We sat at the tables just outside the doors for the breeze and the view. The calamari was tasty and the sauce was excellent. The chicken brasa bowl was somewhat bland and the chicken was dry, although the tastiest of the bowl. I much prefer chipotle over this bowl. The waiter suggested my husband add chicken to his rigatoni, since it doesn't come with a protein. I'm glad he agreed because without it he would not have gotten full. His chicken was also dry. The server was polite and courteous but did take longer than usual to check on us and close the tab. The mandatory 18% gratuity and tax added $20 to the total. For $98 I expected much finer fare.

Our server Richie was wonderful! She suggested a dish that was perfect for what I told her I was looking for. My bowl was fresh and light, which I enjoyed while we people watched. The service was great! I suggest you try this restaurant if you're in the Miami area.

Cute little spot in brickell city center. The food was pretty good. I ordered an aperol spritz and it was really well done, same with the cappuccino I had after my meal. Service was quick and attentive even though it was Saturday and pretty packed. I'm giving it 4 stars because I found it a bit overpriced for the amount of food we had (they automatically add 18% tip to the bill like most restaurants in Miami now a days).

This restaurant is very small and they insist on keeping the double doors open in 90 degree weather, I asked if they could close it 2 times because the heat was unbearable but the manager refused without even coming by the table to talk to us., the food is good and if it wasn't for the heat I'm sure that I would return, maybe in the winter. Unless you like to sweat while dining, try another restaurant that are concerned about your comfort.

This place has the best salmon bowl I have ever tried! I've been craving it ever since I had it. The restaurant wasn't very busy but my food was so good and the service was great. I'm coming back on my next Miami trip.
