We came in for breakfast and had the pleasure of being served by Emanuel, who was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Our food came out just the way we wanted, and his positive attitude truly made our morning even better. Thank you, Emanuel, for giving us such a wonderful start to our day! We’ll definitely be back.

Google
The fish tacos were outstanding and Maria gave excellent service. I had fun sitting outdoors in the shaded area. It was very relaxing with great ambiance. I will definitely be coming back this weekend with my girlfriend. Great spot for a day date. Also excited to see it at night!

Google
We had breakfast vouchers from the Uma House hotel and it was the best idea because the breakfasts were phenomenal. I had the Tres Leches (twice) which I highly recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth. The staff is super! Jiuli was our hostess and waitress the first day with a smile and good suggestions. Angelica took care of us the second day and Emanuel got us in and out quickly the last day so we could grab our taxi to the airport. Come for a great meal and a one block walk to the beach.

I had such a wonderful experience thanks to Franco. He was incredibly attentive and genuinely kind throughout my visit, and he went out of his way to make my birthday feel special. He surprised me with a dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch and really made my day. Franco’s energy, hospitality, and attention to detail turned a simple outing into a memorable celebration. I’m truly grateful for the great service and can’t recommend him enough!

Google
Came for breakfast and was not disappointed. Samuel was our server and he was so helpful. He was prompt, friendly and personable. The food was amazing. The breakfast sandwich was enormous and the burrita eggs benny were perfectly spiced. Samuel made sure our visit was memorable. Thanks Samuel! Coffee was great!

Google
The business is clearly well managed. Very beautiful and comfortable. Service is excellent and you are made to feel very welcome. My server Angelica was superb. Very helpful and tentative.

Google
We just happened upon while walking down the street in Miami. Prices were good, service was great and a beautiful atmosphere. We liked it so much we returned for Sunday brunch. Both of our waiters were outstanding, but have to shout out Agostina for being super attentive and sweet! I had chicken and waffles and my husband had the nachos w beef and over easy eggs. Both were delicious 😋

Google
I pass by the place often and never gave it a try until now. My buddy and I came in for a quick and healthy breakfast, got exactly that! Drip coffee was tasty, hard to mess up that drink. The bagel and lox was phenomenal. Very fresh! The service by Ismael was professional, timely and attentive. He did a wonderful job.

Yelp
Me and my friend Roland went to Cafe Americano for brunch. The hostess seated us right away and gave us menus. The server came as we are checking the menus and asked us if we have any questions and suggeste recommendations. We were not ready so we just ordered iced latte and iced matcha to start. I ordered the steak and eggs, pancakes and my friend ordered the shrimp scampi linguini. The food was good and delicious, the server was attentive and took care of us, the manager and the hostess were also nice and friendly. Casual ambiance and relaxing atmosphere, a lot of good items in the menu, hospitable staff, and great location. Check it out!

Yelp
Food awesome! Excellent service. Romantic ambiance. We sat outside. Great romantic date on Halloween! All that we ordered was great but don't get the pizza. That's what we heard. So we got a Caesar salad, fried calamari, chicken parm, and cheesecake. All yummy.

Yelp
Cute patio, decent omelette... and that's where the positives end. We ordered a breakfast burrito and specifically asked for the mayo to be inside--not on the side. Sounds simple, right? Apparently not. They ignored the request, and when we asked about it, both the server and the manager claimed it "wasn't possible." Funny how they managed to put jalapeño sauce inside though. To make matters worse, the burrito was gross. The bacon and ham were barely cooked--chewy, limp, and borderline raw. When the waiter asked how everything was, we told him the burrito wasn't good... and he just walked away without a word. Rude and unbothered. This place is all about looks--definitely not taste or service. Wouldn't go back. Definitely not returning back. Update: they didn't end up charging us for the burrito but regardless still not a good experience.

Yelp
Stayed at UMA house next door, had the avocado burrata toast with salmon and egg each time plus cortadito Their affogato is also fantastic . It gave my day a major boost

Yelp
Cafe Americano is a great place to visit if Service on South Beach. The service from Jose was excellent and the food was amazing. The price was reasonable especially for the area. The place also has a nice exterior design with indoor and outdoor dining . I recommend the watermelon Burrata salad. This was a unique salad and fresh from the veggies to the watermelon . The tres leches French toast is not your typical French Toast. It's accompanied with some strawberries, meringue, whip cream. The toast are cut in strips made with Dulce de leche rum sauce and cinnamon. One of the best French toast . Cafe Americano is the spot to be if you looking for brunch, or lunch . Most definitely I'll come back. When I am back in town, again.

Yelp
Cute boho style outside seating. Service was on the slower side but waitress was attentive. Food was solid 3 stars- Cuban sandwich had some great flavors but needed a proper dipping sauce, fries were stone cold when they came out. Tuna appetizer was nice and fresh, needed more plantain crisps. Calamari were a bit underwhelming - good batter but needed more flavor. Oversized Bellini was pretty good.

Yelp
This is a must go-to if you're looking for a nice breakfast/brunch. Our service was great and professional. The restaurant has a great layout if you want to sit inside or outside. The Birria Eggs Benedict is a must try if you like Birria. The breakfast potatoes are some of the best ones I've had and the avocado toast is great as well. Check this place out!

Yelp
Saturday at 11am. Not a breakfast person but my hotel reservation came with complimentary breakfast and coming from nyc where the weather the super cold , I took advantage of dining outdoors to enjoy the gorgeous miami weather as I watch passerby's go to/ from the beach , etc . It's a great place for people watching ! In addition to the ambiance, the service by Jarold was great ! He was attentive and friendly . I had the American breakfast, it's good , nothing special , it came with eggs , toast , potatoes and bacon and my friend had the same but substituted the potatoes with avocado . They play music which gives it that miami , party vibe

Yelp
The bar camilo was amazing, great drinks and amazing vibes. Would definitely come again

Yelp
Just walked out. Asked if they could accommodate my allergy, they cannot. They were rude about it to boot. Just odd

Yelp
Samuel was a great server and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. We wanted a reasonably priced, light lunch and this hit the spot. We had coffee, mocktails and started with the fried calamari. For lunch we had the Poke and the Chicken Bowl. Both were prepared fresh, tasty and would come back again. They serve brunch, a full variety of cocktails and the menu is diverse. Sit outside to enjoy the street views and the birds nibbling on crumbs.

Yelp
What a lucky find as I was headed out for the morning! There's plenty of outdoor space filled with lush greenery to make this feel like a bit of an oasis despite being right on the main street. The hostess was kind when both the couple in front of me and I asked for a different table than initially provided (a small thing, but it makes such a difference!). My server, Giuli, was incredible. So friendly, checked in at just the right moments, and really made me feel welcome and looked after. Apparently, it was also her first day, so props to her and Cafe Americano for hiring her! The chilaquiles was delicious! The chips had a perfect crunch (not your regular tortilla chips, but the quality homemade stuff!), a plethora or meat, and an entire dish of the sauce on the side. Quite impressive and exactly what this Californian has been longing for after 2 years in the North East.

Yelp
We stopped at Cafe Americano shortly after landing in Miami and checking in our hotel. The restaurant had nice outdoor seating, so we sat outside since the weather was nice. We all enjoyed our food and drinks and our waitress was very helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was great, avocado burrata toast hit the spot! Service was fast, Samuel was my server and he was prompt and all around good vibes. Music was relaxing, great chill breakfast spot. Inside and outside seating.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
This place was super busy on a Sunday morning but we were able to get seated right away. We both had the avocado burrata toast and it was great! They had some racing playing on the tv and it was nice. We would go back for more!
google avatar

Susan K.

Yelp
Cool vibe and excellent outdoor seating that is mostly covered and away from the sidewalk. Omelet was overcooked but potatoes and toast were wonderful. My significant ordered blueberry pancakes which were good, but no blueberries in the batter -- only on top of the pancakes. A bird flew on to our table/ my food about halfway through brunch and I kind of lost my appetite. They took 10% off the check!
google avatar

Yelp
Remarkable menu options. I chose the garlicky shrimp bowl (Cilantro Rice, Garlicky Grilled Shrimp, Shaved Cabbage Slaw, Roasted Tomatoes, Corn, Pumpkin Seeds, Garlic Aioli & Fresh Herbs). It tasted so good and nutritious and was so colorful. I had a mojito with it and left more than satisfied.
google avatar

Yelp
The tres leches french toast is AMAZING. We sat outside & enjoyed the scenery and people watching. We will absolutely be back!
google avatar

Merlyn M.

Yelp
This cafe was right down the street from our hotel and we hoped in for breakfast/brunch. The food was amazing, my favorite was the French toast...yummm!! The vibe is fun and very Miami like, waiting staff and overall ambiance was wonderful! I definitely recommend this place for your next brunch in Miami!
google avatar

Joshua P.

Yelp
Food was okay. Tuna tostado was good - the steak surf and turf was gross. The steak was chewy and seemed old. The lobster seemed like it was frozen and thawed.
google avatar

Catherine M.

Yelp
Located right below Uma House hotel, it was very conveniently located so we dined here twice. Great patio vibe but avoid the seats directly under the tree. We had to move after a bird hit us three times. My husband enjoyed the poke bowl. I had the chicken and waffles with good flakes. Unfortunately the chicken was dry and tasted a bit off.
google avatar

Yelp
I will rate Cafe Americano 8/10 everything is great compared to other restaurants on south beach. Food order was whole red snapper with fries I wish they had white rice instead but they didn't, and the hot wings with blue cheese could have been more crispy but they were flavorful and the celery and carrots were actually fresh on the side, Cesar salad was a 7/10 it was fresh but the dressing didn't sit well in my tummy so I assume it had too much dairy ingredients. Drinks: Peach Bellini and Strawberry Bellini 10/10 Service: kind of slow but the server was a good guy Ambiance: Casual (seating inside is way better outside at the Collins location) seating at the other location is great for outdoor setting.

Yelp
During Art Basel, I finally had a chance to check out Cafe Americano in Miami for lunch on my visit from LA. It has inside and outside dining, but when in Miami, it's always best to eat outside and enjoy the weather and people watch. Our waiter was Ismael. He was fantastic! I have to say he's one of the nicest waiters I have ever had in Miami and I visit a lot! He suggested his fave drinks and food but wasn't pushy about it. We followed his advice with the drinks and ordered the Passionfruit and Strawberry Mojitos. Ismael was spot on because they were soooo good. Then for lunch we ordered the Crispy Calamari, Ceviche Sliders, Caesar Salad, and Cuban Club. The calamari was good but I didn't like the dipping sauce so Ismael brought me some other good sauces like spicy mayo. The ceviche sliders were my fave so tasty. The Caesar salad was also good and the Cuban Club was a very hearty sandwich. My boyfriend (who's from Miami) ordered that and said it wasn't what he expected but he still enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great with the Christmas decorations in place, especially the life size Nutcracker Doll. This place is good to go to for a quick bite with good service and fun people watching. I would come back here if I wanted something quick and filling and of course to visit the amazing Ismael who made us feel so welcomed :-)

Yelp
Busy street side restaurant with great people watching. Popular with the tourist crowd. Lots of outdoor seating and great lighting. The pizza was very bland, but the poke bowl was good. Big menu with a variety of choices
google avatar

Yelp
Imagine the night of 31st December at 11.00 PM and trying to find a table to get some drinks. Most of the restaurants on the ocean dr are charging $500 or more for a table and we got lucky that the Kitchen and the bartender quit around 11.30 PM. We got a table, ordered drinks quickly and settled down to watch the fireworks on the beach. This is an excellent location because we could fireworks from multiple cities and enjoyed the drinks and desserts. Both were too sweet IMHO but the table made for it.

Yelp
After a five mile walk on Miami Beach, my crew got hungry and thirsty. Seeing we exited the beach on Collins Blvd., right in the heart of this community, we had a bevy of restaurants to choice from. After our week in the Florida Keys, seafood was off our radar due to the fact we had it every day. We all just wanted salads and a bottle of Pellegrino water, so, we wisely chose Cafe Americano! I ordered a fantastic Caesar salad with chicken, my wife had Chicken Brasas Bowl and my sister had a Tuna Poke Bowl they both really enjoyed. We loved our lunch in MiamiBeach, eating outside in 76° weather as we leave back to Chicago in two days where it will be snowing when we land. After tomorrow, we will have ate and drank our way through Southern Florida - It's been a delicious trip.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a gem of solitude in the vibrant, loud center of South Beach. The food was amazing and always cooked to order perfectly. Maria was our server a couple of the days and she is spectacular. The patio area is filled with relaxing music and is best enjoyed with a tasty mocha latte. I found the prices to be reasonable (as reasonable as they can be in South Beach). We ate here every day and are thrilled we found it the first morning of our visit. Do yourself a favor, go eat here early is your visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Got the breakfast with the potatoes as a side. Overall it was pretty good, a little undersalted. Went with friends who got the burrata avocado toast with the side salad, they enjoyed their meal as well. Service was slow but typical for the area. Ambiance was casual and trendy.
google avatar

Yelp
We came in for breakfast on a Sunday morning during brunch hours, they weren't that busy. The server eventually took our order and it seems like a long wait. When the food finally came out. Dishes was correct, and the other was not. He blamed it on the kitchen, however, after watching other people order the electronic device they order from shows a picture of what you order, he kept blaming the kitchen and said the food would be ready in five minutes, after 12 minutes I went and canceled. He apologized and blame the kitchen again, it was not the kitchen. But as with most restaurants on Miami Beach, she still got his 20% tip. The food we ended up getting which was the leches French toast was pretty good, we ended up sharing it, it would be too heavy of a dish for one person I think.
google avatar

Mike O.

Yelp
I came here for a work lunch during a business conference. We had a choice of appetizers and entrees, so I got a Caesar salad and a tuna poke bowl. The salad was massive but really other than the dressing I would not have called it a Caesar. The poke bowl was okay, but had more red onions than fish. The place was okay but not more than that on a grade.
google avatar

Bill A.

Yelp
Good place for a quick lunch. We ordered the mahi tacos. They were pretty good, the pickled slaw was great on the tacos, the corn mash was pretty good as well. Our server was Aeylen and she was great. FOODIES BEWARE: Like many restaurants in Miami they charge a 20% service fee right off the bat so consider that when you are calculating your tip.

Kevin H.

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast on the last morning of a trip. The atmosphere is super cool with cool visuals and great music. The food was super good and the coffee was as well. I got the Denver omelette which was excellent. The service was great and our server was very nice and professional.

John O.

Yelp
Good: food was very hot and fresh, and it came out pretty quick. Wings weren't that good though, not very crispy. The inside and outside dining area is nice and has a retro feel. Brunch portions were big! Bad: this is going to be picky maybe but we had to listen to the staff loudly fold silverware lol once I heard it I couldn't stop hearing it. It was like they were throwing it down on the table. Miami prices but they weren't too bad for the size and quality.
google avatar

kenyetta h.

Yelp
Everything taste like cafeteria food. And for it to be cold after I waited a long time was crazy. Even the sourdough tasted weird, like they toasted it a long time ago.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Interesting restaurant - good for brunch- did not find it expensive for Miami ""(where nothing is inexpensive!). We went twice and the service was a bit slow even with the restaurant relatively empty. Nice ambiance- enjoyable meal
google avatar

Riya N.

Yelp
Came here for brunch and everything was amazing. I got the French toast and it was one of the best I've ever had! It was so crispy on the outside and soft inside. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned sooo well! My husband got the breakfast sandwich and was not disappointed. My brother said the espresso martinis were one of the best he's ever had! Which says a lot :-) The spicy cauliflower was also soo delicious. Not too spicy and very crispy! Service was good- a little slow but they were busy so we didn't mind! And the vibe was great!
google avatar

Angel S.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Cappuccino was out of the world. Absolutely going back one morning just for that. Service was excellent.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Overpriced and very average. They don't show you the total bill when you pay and want you to give them your credit card and simply swipe the charge. They don't tell you they have already included the tip. Don't bother eating here.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
I loved this cafe. I ate here twice during my recent trip to Miami for the Art Basel show. The food is fantastic and the wait staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. I really like the ambiance in this cafe as well. It is pleasant and has a fun vibe to it. I think my favorite thing was the menu of "Mocktails." Since I'm not a big drinker, but still like to join the party, I loved ordering a mocktail that came in a martini glass. I got to feel like I was drinking but stay sober. No one was the wiser. If I ever go back to Miami this will be one of my stops for lunch!
google avatar

Hansel M.

Yelp
Greeted by my hostess and ask her if she could send me somewhere in the shade. Just myself, party of one. My server passed by me before approaching my table and said "I will be right with you Miss." I am a guy but cool. She then came to the table with water for me, much appreciated. I ordered the All American breakfast, an and a Latte. My latte arrived as a cappuccino. Whatever I kept it. My server then approached me once more 15 minutes after I've ordered the most basic breakfast plate in America to let me know that she is out of sausage, and if I wanted to change it for chicken sausage or bacon. I went with the chicken sausage. The breakfast plate arrives and my runner was mute. My server, though, was passing by my table as it was being delivered and said "enjoy," as well as offered me jelly. When it came time for the bill I did get the wrong one. The one belonging to the guest also dining on his own next to me. It was all ok because luckily the item prices were the same as what I had ordered. Overall, Cafe Americano. Is pretty cool. I must add that I ordered what I ordered because I wanted to see them make the simplest plate.
google avatar

Brittany B.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by this restaurant for brunch due to the good outdoor dining crowd and extensive menu. We preferred to eat inside due to the heat and we were seated pretty quickly. The waitress came over pretty early on and took our order; however, we waited a long amount of time for the food to come out. I ordered the Avocado Burrata toast, which was flavorful and filling and healthy! I almost opted for the French Toast and seeing the many orders come from the kitchen made me second guess my decision, but it was SO worth it. My husband ordered the Lox & Bagel. He said it was just ok and not worth the long wait. The prices are comparable to other brunch spots on Collins, but significantly better than others. The portion sizes are big and nice. I would come back for brunch again!

Yelp
Great Food. Best smash burger in Miami Beach. Guacamole Amazing. Nice place to enjoy weekend
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant! Plenty of seating inside or out. Our waiter was very attentive and we even had 2 other employees check on us constantly (I'm assuming they were managers). The food was amazing and came out really fast! There is music but it is not loud. I look forward to returning
google avatar

Allie G.

Yelp
The restaurant itself is cute. Great brunch vibe! The food is so so. I got the mahi mani tacos and they left much to be desired. The slaw on it was very runny and the pineapple is a bizarre addition. The elote they serve is so weird. I couldn't quite put my finger on it but the flavor is off even just for a regular corn side let alone "Mexican elote" which is how they name it. The fish was cooked nicely though. My husband got the breakfast burrito and he loved it. It was packed with hearty ingredients but a little too heavy on the cheese. The potatoes it came with were amazingly crispy and yummy. What really didn't sit well about this place is that at the end of your visit once you're paying or getting ready to pay the waiter/waitress asks you to leave a review on google. Our waiter did it and we overheard the other tables experience the same thing. I know reviews help businesses out a lot but I just feel like they really pressure you to do considering they literally tell you were to leave the review; my waiter asked for my phone to show me where to leave it. It's so forced.
google avatar

Abigail G.

Yelp
First time here. The shrimp Alfredo was ok. My husband gave the pancakes a 3 out of 5. They were a little too fluffy for his liking. I can't say this will be a place we come and visit again but it was marked from our to-do list. Our server was busy but she checked on us fairly well and didn't have us waiting for anything. She was great.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Yes, there are a lot of restaurants and cafés to eat at on South Beach. But if you are looking for some place that has a cool vibe and good food you should give Cafe Americano a try. We were there for breakfast and our waiter Diego was very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the L.E.O and there was a good amount of avocado and lox, the pickled onions and the side salad gave a nice balance. My guest ordered the breakfast burrito, which he said was good, but could have used a little more meat in it, the potatoes were delicious, just crispy enough and seasoned well. Both of our meals were $18.00, which is a little pricey, but we were on South Beach.
google avatar

Joy J.

Yelp
The vibe here is great. They have a nice outdoor patio with large screen TVs playing the NBA playoffs. I assume they'd play other sporting events as well. I ordered a mojito, poke bowl and half ceasar salad. Everything was delicious and would hiflt recommend if you want something light and fresh. The poke bowl was a nice large size that was unexpected.
google avatar

Tom H.

Yelp
There for breakfast on Sunday. Cool little spot on Main Street. Looked like a nice place to sit outside and eat. Sat down and placed order and then waited an hour for our food. Eggs, eggs and toast took an hour. Waiter never came back to refill coffee, just terrible service. I told him we were leaving if food didn't arrive and suddenly it appeared. Food was decent but sat so long being ignored would never go back.

Yelp
Conveniently located restaurant in Miami! The service was very fast and friendly, and the ambiance was great. I ordered the cubano and it tasted fine but a bit dry, nothing amazing, but I did love the fries. The margarita was definitely on the sweeter end and came with a huge portion!
