"Don’t expect to order any phở at the Vietnamese spot Anh Hong—they even have a “No Pho!” sticker on the door as a not-so-subtle reminder. Bánh hỏi is the focus at this casual big group restaurant in the Outer Richmond. These life-changing, make-your-own rolls combine fresh ingredients with just the right ratio of smoked meats and tangy sauce. They’re served with a heaping plate of mint, basil, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumbers, and loads of fish sauce. There are eight different fillings, but we like the grilled shrimp with a nice char and the slightly sweet grilled pork of the nem nướng the best. And make sure to also get the excellent bò tái chanh on your table." - Ricky Rodriguez

So far, this is the BEST formal chinese restaurant in Utah I have tried (I like One More Noodle House too but they are too different for a direct comparison). Tastes like authentic southern chinese food. I went with two discerning Chinese person including one tourist from Hong Kong and they loved it. Honestly I am perplexed how this restaurant can have only 4.2 stars and not 5. 5/5: salt and pepper shrimp, egg plant, grill duck, steam fish, chinese watercress, Mapo tofu. 4/5: nothing

I read some reviews and decided to give this place a try. We arrived and saw a man out front smoking. He saw that we were walking towards the restaurant and ended his smoke break as we're almost to the front door. He was right in front of us and let the door fall right in front of our face (kinda funny but also like what?). Then we enter, and he's at the front counter. No greeting, no acknowledgment (but that's ok bc i read the review and knew what to expect). The service is what it is. It didn't take very long for the food to come out after ordering. Food was good, better than expected but not the best. Great value for the price. Worth giving a try for sure. It's pretty spacious inside the restaurant. No strong odors. I just wanted dim sum and glad they had the rice crepes/rolls.

Google
We ordered the Deep Fried Meat Dumpling, Chicken Feet, Shrimp Har Gow, BBQ Pork with Honey Sauce with Ham Fried Rice, and Beef Short Rib w/Green Beans with Steamed Rice. The fried dumplings were amazing and I'll order again next time. The owner was surprised I got the chicken feet, but they're honestly not bad, although I'd only order to get others to try them; not for myself. The shrimp har gow was good, but not something I liked. Both entrees were great, and I recommend spending the extra $3 for the ham fried rice - it's well worth it. There are a lot of items on the menu I'd like to come back and give a try. This is family-owned and run, so you need to have your expectations that things run a little differently if you are going to enjoy the experience. First, if no one is there to greet you when you walk in, seat yourself. Two, if you need something, you better ask. There won't be a regular checkup to make sure you're having a good meal. When you finish, walk up to the cashier to pay. English isn't the first language here, but they'll know what you want better than you do, so speak clearly or point at the menu and it'll turn out right. I personally love the experience and it's exactly what I want when I go to a Chinese restaurant, but I won't pretend like it's not confusing the first visit. There is an authenticity to Cafe Anh Hong that I'm in love with! The restaurant is older and there haven't been many, if any, renovations over the years. But for me, it adds to the charm of this place, and I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Google
This may sound backwards, but I like that the reviews aren’t super good and that the service isn’t super good because it means that I always have a nice quiet place to go eat. They use paper plates and plastic cups and the owners don’t speak English all that well and aren’t super personable, but the food is great and it’s nice and quiet inside. I love love love the stir fried egg plant dish. I cannot get enough of it.

Google
My first impression when walking into this restaurant was that it's dirty. But it's not it's just in need of a facelift or remodeling. If you order the dim sum you're going to get authentic Chinese otherwise it's mostly just American Chinese like in most Chinese restaurants in the United States. My family loves the dim sum chickens feet and many of the other dim sum choices too. The American Chinese food that we had was good too.

P. Tepes

Google
Probably The most authentic chinese food you will find in SLC. The place might not look very appealing at first glance but the food is delicious and prices are unbeatable. I would highly recommend it - especially if you are sick and tired of commercialized / americanized Chinese food.

Google
So this place is a fun little experience. Worth it to go there at least once, yes. There weren't many people for the dinner rush, on a holiday where it is kinda dinner heavy, valentines day, BUT it's also not off state street or the highway or anything so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for being a bit off the beaten path. The interior is cool, it's fun, cool design. They had fun booths that made the experience very private. So the service was fine, good enough where they came to take our order and give the bill, nothing exceptional but it was fine, and the materials were plastic cups and plates, but it was a grounded Dim Sum experience so we wanted the food! Food was slightly better than the experience. Pretty good food. Four star food. Not five star super fantastic food but four stars for sure, definitely go there, I am recommending, it'll be a great experience!

Google
Enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The service is quick and food was hot. There were 6 of us - we all ordered one dish to be shared. The walnut shrimp is amazing. The sticky buns are large in portion size and tasty. But the green beans, crab legs, and soup I could eat all day. The price is reasonable and you will leave with a Togo box.

Richard M.

Yelp
Best chow fun in the valley! Authentic dim sum, the su mai and char shu bao are perfect. If you're looking for authentic Chinese, this is the place.

Kayla D.

Yelp
Moved to a new city and wanted to find a dim sum place closer to us. It's a cute and small restaurant with a few tables. Had a party of 3 and went on a Sunday around 12:30 and it was not busy. Typically at other dim sum places we've had to make sure we were there before noon to avoid a long wait, so this was a nice change! Even though staff were a tiny bit inattentive, they were really friendly and seemed happy to service us! The paper plates and cups were kind of odd, but saw a sign real utensils and plates upon request, so I'll do that next time. Dim sum was good and decently priced! I do wish they had a wider selection, but it is a smaller establishment and what was available was good. The chili oil is legit chili oil which is a plus! We're happy we found our regular dim sum place!

Gina R.

Yelp
Great food, we didn't care they use disposable plates and cups, it's probably difficult to find a dishwasher, the food was good. We will be back.

Jolene L.

Yelp
Quite the gem in this community. They have a large restaurant with many seating areas. There's also lots and lots of free parking too. One of few places open on Sunday, we went for dim sum lunch and really enjoyed everything that we ordered. While they do have a menu full of eating options, we opted for the dim sum cart. They have all the standard items, both steamed and fried. My favorite was the savory pork filled fried mochi and also the steamed savory pork wrapped in tofu, excellent! Compared to another dim sum eatery in Salt Lake City, we much prefer the tastier options here. Of particular note, my friend called in advance to pre order their freshly made soft tofu in a light syrup. So glad to know there is a tasty dim sum place in this area!

Yelp
The dim sum (cheong fun and taro puffs) hit. Make sure you know how to speak cantonese if you want to make the best of your order though.

Grant G.

Yelp
You know how people are always writing corny reviews like, "If you get Stacy as your waitress, you're certainly going to have a fun night!!"? Well, this place has Old Chinese Man (no nametag). He said three words to us all evening: "Okay," as he opened his notebook to take our orders, and "Thank you," as we left. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way. I find the forced friendliness of most waitstaff to be rather grating. Our order was also delivered perfectly and quickly. 5/5 on service. Now the food: mostly good. The Cream Cheese Wontons were crispy, but the (caramelized?) cheese on the inside was divisive: my wife objected to its odd texture, but I personally found it scrumptious and promptly downed three before you could say "Ni Hao". My Sweet and Sour Chicken was perfectly crispy, but the flavor was a little off. It also was just warm, not piping hot (as you would expect from a freshly cooked dish). My wife suggested this may mean much of their food is frozen or reheated. Not particularly surprising (after all, even the venerable Cheesecake Factory uses frozen dishes), but a little disappointing. My egg drop soup was yummy. My wife's review of the shrimp dumplings and pork buns: "Good." 3/5 on food. Ambience left something to be desired. No music playing (though I must admit, I took no exception to that, though my wife did), and we could hear the waitstaff loudly speaking in their native tongue. I suppose that provided an immersive element. Others have remarked on the plastic cutlery and dishes: still true. It's beyond time to upgrade that back to real silverware. 3/5 on ambiance. I'm not sure we'll be back, as my wife didn't love the place. To be honest, I'm not crazy about it either. It was mostly solid: 3/5 total.

Quinn N.

Yelp
We love some low key Sunday dim sum at Cafe Anh Hong. Beef chow fun was oily but delicious, and came out so hot and tender. Every item we ordered was good: shumai, har gow, chicken feet, spareribs, taro puffs. The restaurant doesn't have 50 options for dimsum like other places, but I think they made the available dishes right. Not all places offer taro puffs and this place made it quite crunchy, I love it. Spareribs had the right flavor but I would prefer it cooked for much longer for tenderness. Service can be low, you don't come in expecting great service but people were quite decent. You pay at the kiosk.

Anais S.

Yelp
paper plates and red solo cups which i didn't mind much just thought it was funny. food was good just felt as there wasn't much flavor on some of them. good! but i may look for another dim sum spot.

Karen Champlin W.

Yelp
This was truly the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Food tasted reheated. Handmade noodles were definitely NOT. I eat a lot of Chinese food and the food lacked flavor. Dim sum specialties were poorly executed.

Anthony C.

Yelp
The server was not very friendly. It's not starting well. First of all, I have never been served with plastic fork, paper plates, and solo cups. We did not get a choice to use regular plates and silverware. The fried won tons were crispy and the cream cheese filling went well with the sweet and sour sauce. The sauce was not too sweet or too sour. This sauce is definitely made in-house. The honey walnut shrimp was a big disappointment. Walnut shrimp should be lightly breaded and should have more sauce. There is very little sauce and all I can taste is breading. I had left over sweet and sour sauce and dipped the shrimp in there to hide the breading flavor. It didn't work. The chicken curry stir fry was just ok. It needed a little more salt. The curry flavor was a little too strong and could be balanced with a little coconut milk. Over all, with the food, the service, and the dinnerware, I will not be returning here...ever. People! You need to go to HoHo Gourmet or Red Maple for REAL CHINESE Food!

Hunter K.

Yelp
First time visitors and everything was incredible. Very authentic flavors. The service team would come around with carts full of dim sum and see if you wanted anything from what they had prepared, or make a special trip if you wanted something off the menu that wasn't on the cart. They recommended the pork shumai and we loved it. We also ordered steamed pork buns (YUM), deep fried meat dumplings, and sweet rice chicken which was my least favorite but still tasty. I will be back to try more!

Kay S.

Yelp
Change everything. It's just far below mediocre and makes it obvious that whites are best served elsewhere

Hoa T.

Yelp
When I heard that Cafe Anh Hong got priced out of their SLC location, I was pretty sad even though I don't typically come here for their dim sum. Now that they re-established themselves in Sandy I thought I would come and support. I ordered my usual dim sum and the house special chow fun. Star ratings for each dish is below: Har gow 4/5 Shumai 3.5/5 Steamed pork dumpling 3/5 Beef tripe 4.5/5 Shrimp rice roll 4.5/5 Chicken feet 3.5/5 Shrimp leek dumpling 1/5 House special chow fun 4.5/5 Props to Cafe Anh Hong for making all the dishes above in house especially their own noodles for the chow fun which I highly recommend. Overall, I would not make the drive down here for dim sum. I prefer the flavors at New Golden Dragon. The biggest disappointment was the shrimp leek dumpling - mostly fried dough and no fillings. I did not even take any leek dumplings left-over home and I hate wasting food. I would come here for the chow fun and maybe a few of the dim sum for appetizers. 3.5 if I could but knocked it down to 3 since the shrimp and leek dumpling is usually my fav but a huge disappointment here.

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
We came here for dim sum after hiking . It was pretty busy but since we came at a later time 1-2pm we waited just a little bit before being seated . They use plastic cups / dishes / silverware here . It seems like they started from Covid but they never went back to using normal dishes and metal silverware . It's very wasteful . They use dim sum carts here so we ordered a variety of stuff . We got siu mai , ha gow, meatball , tripe , beef and shrimp cheung fun . We also ordered the beef chow fun . Prices are reasonable, the beef chow fun took awhile to come out. When the chow fun came out we were already full so we took it to go .

Alexandra T.

Yelp
An ultimate comfort food spot, Anh Hong will always be one of my favorites! Their dim sum is some of my favorite, and their menu has all the classics. Their noodles are also fabulous, with different variations and a great selection of protein options. The wait is never too long for a table, even when they're busy and everything always comes out piping hot. Their location is a bit unsuspecting, but not to be missed!

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Hands-down, the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to in Salt Lake City. I know they moved locations, but I'm closer to them now, time to go. They really are the best! I love their sweet sticky buns. There's a lot of stuff that they will do that isn't on the menu as well. This authentic Chinese wonderful family is amazing.

Myranda Lee S.

Yelp
I tried this place with a group of 8. They sat us at a round table with a lazy susan in the middle, which was very helpful for such a large group that's sharing all the dishes! A lot of the items came in plates of 3, so I thought we had the perfect amount of people to each be able to try the items. I honestly don't even remember what we ordered, but I loved all of it!! I can't wait to come back here again!!

Camille R.

Yelp
Sunday dim sum was great! Great prices, options, and taste. Service: quick, brought dim sum to your table. I'm glad we went with their suggestion of trying the fried shrimp roll (I missed the full name!) Ambiance: family friendly. Went with my spouse. We will be back! Don't let the humble outside fool you, this is a gem

Nicole M.

Yelp
Cafe Anh Hong has classic dim sum with Chinese favorites as well. The outside of the building does not look like much. Inside, we were welcomed by being offered many dim sum choices. We chose not do dim sum, and got plated dishes instead. They had paper plates and red solo cups for their dinnerware which I found interesting, as well as single use plastic table cloths that they re set each time. The food was decent, not over the top flavorful or memorable. I would not be back personally, but my husband really enjoyed his dish.

Joanne B.

Yelp
We did takeout and had the Honey Curry Chicken and Singapore Noodles. Kids loved the honey curry chicken and the Singapore Noodles is great - not oily and very tasty. We will definitely be back!

Natasha P.

Yelp
Cafe Anh Hong has become our go-to spot for takeout, but the inconsistency in their dishes leaves me torn. The chicken with broccoli and General Tso chicken are consistently delightful, but the beef stir fry Mongolian has recently lost its flavor, puzzling us. We've been loyal patrons, hoping for the return of that once-delicious dish. In a limited selection of nearby options, Cafe Anh Hong remains a reliable choice for a satisfying meal, and we'll likely be back for takeout.

Andrew O.

Yelp
The servers were somewhat short with us from the beginning, which I could have attributed to cultural differences and moved on from there, however things got worse. Everything issued to us was disposable, paper plates, plastic utensils, and red solo cups for drinking. This started to become an issue soon into the meal when the first couple food items arrived, as the plastic cutlery was not up to the task of cutting or sticking into some of the food items, making eating challenging, especially with small children. Then as I was drinking my cup of water I looked down and noticed black fuzzy stuff floating around in my water. I had already drank quite a bit of it, but I spit back what I hadn't swallowed yet. I then checked the other three cups on the table and they were all the same. Considering that the general cleanliness of the place left something to be desired I thought it might be best if we ordered something to drink other than water. Again, I was disappointed as all they had were canned sodas. I didn't really want to order soda for my 2 and 4 year old, but they didn't have juice, so soda it was. Then since it was canned we had to try and stretch the cans out over the course of the meal so we didn't have to keep ordering more overpriced cans of soda. Overall the food was ok, but the drink and cutlery situation, as well as the general cleanliness of the restaurant was a huge letdown, and I won't be back.

Ngoc Minh N.

Yelp
The restaurant with the rudest service in Utah! On Sunday, March 12, at 9:00 p.m., my friend and I arrive at the restaurant for a dinner. The cuisine is not as good as other dim sum restaurants in the area, but the pricing is reasonable so it may be acceptable. Unfortunately, the manner of service was Extremely Bad! What type of restaurant waiters use paper plates, plastic utensils, and red plastic cups? Unprofessional! Awful! The service was poor from start to end! The owner of the restaurant served us (old man with a mean face and attitude). The waiter (owner of the restaurant) was quite rude and made us feel disrespected by his tone and attitude; He wants to sell heavy sighs, not food or good service.

Snow S.

Yelp
I've only had these three dishes from cafe anh hong but I really really liked it!! I love how big the shumai were and they were so chewy. One of my friends from hong kong also said this is her family's favorite place to get dim sum in SLC. I didn't bring my wallet with me when I visited, luckily they accept apple pay.

David B.

Yelp
It is not easy to find good Cantonese food in Utah. I would not call myself a Cantonese food expert, but I've had it in enough big cities with large Chinese populations to know what the natives like, and this is the best Cantonese food I've had in Utah, bar none. There are many options! Be sure to ask the wait staff for their recommendations and try something new. I did this and every recommended dish I had was simply amazing. Their specialty is dim sum which is Cantonese dishes that are wrapped in dumplings or buns and steamed. The dim sum dumplings and buns are tender, juicy, and the flavor and texture is simply amazing. Most of the food is served family style in large, sharable steamers (steel and bamboo pots the shape of round cake pans), plates and bowls. Don't miss the wonton soup made with leeks. The fried rice is good enough to eat alone. They also have hard-to-find Cantonese and Mandarin favorites like multiple Chow Fun (Ho Fun) dishes with freshly made noodles, Char Siu BBQ pork, and Peking Duck. The prices are very reasonable. Picnicware is an odd choice for restaurant tableware, but don't let it fool you, the food is amazing!

Elisabeth V.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised! Too bad it took us so long to eat here, the food we ordered was fantastic. The parking lot is fairly empty except on Sunday so we've never bothered to stop. This used to be Pei Pei house but sold to different people. We came on a Tuesday at 6:15, there was abt 6 other tables. They seem to have a very steady takeout crowd. Everyone else seemed to be repeat customers, but us... We are regular, every day folks not in search of the most authentic anything, but who doesn't love crispy, saucy Chinese food..... We ordered General Tso chicken & Chinese broccoli beef. The chicken was delicious 10/10, perfect. The beef was good 8/10. The veggie spring roll's were perfect. Another surprise you really do get paper plates and red solo cups but who cares. I've eaten lots of places with real silverware and plates and served crappy food so.... I'll take excellent food on picnic ware ") Looking forward to coming back. No pics, we ate everything.

Brandis S.

Yelp
Wow!!! This place has been on my list for ages, and after having the terrible realization that I hadn't eaten good Chinese food since moving to Utah a number of years ago, I finally gave Cafe Anh Hong a try. I'm so glad I did!! I ordered the homemade rice noodles with beef, which was the best choice ever. Just one order was more than enough for my husband and I to share. The noodles were excellent and the overall flavor was fantastic. We also ordered the sesame balls, which were great also. I found the disposable plates and utensils to be a bit off-putting, the service was slow, and the inside of the restaurant could have definitely been cleaner. But the food was such a 5 star experience in itself, none of the negatives impacted my overall experience. I can't wait to return to try other dishes!

Michelle K.

Yelp
Why cheap plastic utensils and paper plates??? No chop sticks. All this took wind out of our sails. Dim sum was not good and care was not taken to clean shrimp. It was awkward, as we were the only ones there, with no music or ambiance . Wok items looked good, but we will never know, as paper plates and off brand plastic forks are not our idea of a nice evening and or lunch out.

Drew S.

Yelp
The food was pretty good, very authentic. It's worth a try and they have a very nice selection to choose from on the menu. The service was a little slow and the restaurant wasn't busy. You should try the homemade noodle dishes. Don't be discouraged by the outside. They make good food!

Hallie R.

Yelp
Best takeout I've found in Salt Lake. The portions are great for the money spent, and the dishes make for perfect leftovers. I drive from Millcreek to get it. The homemade noodles are so delicious and I can't shake the craving I have for their dumplings

debi k.

Yelp
What a great surprise to find Cafe Ang Hong in Sandy Utah! A good selection of different dishes! Egg drop soup - good Dim sum dishes - excellent sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves Shrimp wrapped in rice noodle Chow mein - more like pan fried noodles which I prefer - you can select either chicken beef tofu or shrimp - we got shrimp! Yum! Beef chow fun - made with tender slices of beef and house made rice noodles - made perfect Peking pork chops - tender strips of pork chops deep fried and tossed in sweet and sour sauce Got seated quickly served water and hot tea! Food came quickly hot and delicious! They are currently using plastic cups for water and paper plates but who cares when the food is tasty and served hot! We had a great meal and will be back soon!

Teresa L.

Yelp
I've had dim sum all over the nation I've eaten dim sum with my in-laws both professional asian cuisine chefs. Cafe anh songs original location on state street was excellent authentic food. So so glad they reopened in sandy!!!! Served the traditional Chinese way in push carts in metal steamers. It's absolutely nostalgic.and the best authentic dim sum in utah! Go enjoy the culture!

Ken D.

Yelp
A small and delicious menu. All my favorite dim sum items and lots of my favorite entrée items. Here's what I ordered 1. Shumai - they were a little on the small side, but the flavor was quite good. 2. Deep fried meat dumplings - nice and crispy. The dough was a little thick, but still hit the spot. 3. Beef Chow Fun - not too greasy, lots of beef. I recommend 4. Sautéed green beans - flavorful 5. Salt and pepper pork - hits the spot I love finding restaurants with good Cantonese food.

Joe I.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Chinese food. Their homemade rice noodles are fantastic. Mediocre ambience, ask for regular silverware.

Stephen W.

Yelp
Food: egg rolls are good, and everything else is fine. Everything was made fresh (of course). Service: the place was empty when we stepped into this place, and there were only three employees there. The one who serves us was... awkward. I can't really blame her though. Ambiance: the place looks cute. They used paper plates and plastic red cups (y'know, the ones they use in college parties in movies), which was... jarring.

Mary Kathryn C.

Yelp
We thought everything was great! The plastic utensils, paper plates, and Dixie cups were a bit surprising, but we really didn't mind as we were expecting/wanting a casual dinner experience. We were craving dim sum, and this place hit the spot without it being expensive. The meat and aromatic veggies had great flavor and the pork buns were like clouds! The wont

Tim O.

Yelp
Loved this place. Inexpensive dim sum served with disposable cups and such. Food was interesting across the board, service was extremely friendly.

Trinh N.

Yelp
Service is super Bad. The guys on front desk was so rude. served with plastic. NASTY. Very bad service attitude I have never seen.

Clay O.

Yelp
Love this place. Read some reviews and I have to comment. Get over the paper plates. The food is great. I have missed Chinese food since we moved here to Utah, then stumbled upon this place and now feel there is some hope here. Order the salt and pepper pork and you can't tell me that is no good. I can eat that on paper plates all day. Don't expect a nice elegant meal or the most pleasant service, but expect good food. The bbq pork noodle soup is great. Homemade noodles and the pork is awesome. Anytime I have people visiting we try to take them here and preface that we will be eating on paper plates, but everyone has loved the food!

Chew F.

Yelp
The Chew family loves supporting local businesses. Our 台山縣 浮石村 pictures inside. We ordered the Har Gow soup, roasted duck, chow fun and tripe. Our family will support this family as long as it exists. From one Chinese American family to another, we them.

Jason C.

Yelp
I'm not a big fan, but my family absolutely loves it! It is our #1 go to Chinese restaurant. My favorite item was the BQQ pork, which is super tender and delicious. The rice is also great. The manager works very hard to make sure we are enjoying our experience and our water is never empty! I really like the interior because it is special and I've never seen anything like it. Anh Hong is also worth the price and feeds many people. Overall I'd give it a 8.5/10

Jasmine B.

Yelp
Let me preface this with the fact that I am half Cantonese, grew up in Asia, have traveled to Hong Kong many times, and grew up eating dim sum. This is place is truly incredible! I've had some decent domain elsewhere, but this is, without question, the best dim sum you will find in Utah. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the best dim sum in the world, but it is definitely comparable to dim sum you can get in Chinatown, and even Hong Kong! The incredible thing is that everything tastes so fresh. They make their noodles completely from scratch! The 豆花(tofu dessert...not sure what to call it in English) was so silky smooth, and the sweet sauce on it was light and refreshing....Honestly, everything tastes amazing, and it brought back so many fond memories of eating dim sum with family throughout the years.I cannot recommend this place enough. You're definitely venturing into "adventurous" and "foodie" territory here. They offer tame and some Americanized dishes, but it's such a waste for when you have the opportunity to go on a culinary adventure. If you aren't scared of trying new dishes and flavors, this is a great way to experience Cantonese food. If either you or a fellow guest aren't into that, just plan accordingly and maybe order some fried rice and orange chicken for those wanting something a little more familiar. The service was awesome and took such good care of us. I will note that my standards for service are significantly different for authentic Asian restaurants and western restaurants. This is the kind of place where you go for the food. This may not be for you if you're the kind of patron looking to relax and be pampered.

Ha B.

Yelp
After reading through the reviews and pictures, I think last nights visit to CAH was my second time--they've moved from SLC area (next to Toshs ramen) to Sandy. Pros: cheap, seems clean, good service. Cons: the ribs are wayyyy too salty. I'd say it's pretty standard quality of dimsum/Chinese food for SLC area and would def come back and recommend others to try. However, it's above average (3stars) good but not extremely good to the point of 4 stars in my book.

Miriam P.

Yelp
I'm sooo happy they moved to Sandy! I mean, I was sad they had to close their Salt Lake location but then they ended up so much closer to me so I can't complain! I don't love the paper and plastic products we have to use, so I hope that goes away sooner rather than later, but I love the food! We always get the pork shumai, noodle soup, and Chinese broccoli sautéed in garlic. The food is legit!

Michelle L.

Yelp
Got here on last Saturday right at 10:30 am when they opened. There was one other car there. All the food was fresh and delicious! I enjoy that they bring the dim sum cart around and show you everything so even if you don't know what it's called you can still get it and try new fresh dim sum. I really like the steamed custard buns but I think they might have changed the recipe. It's still good but tasted a little less sweet. We are regulars and always order the same thing so the employees know what we like. We order beef and broccoli pan fried noodles and braised bean curd tofu. We split it between 3 adults and 3 toddlers and ended up being around $25 per person with leftovers.

Yelp
One of my favorite local restaurants. The ambiance is nothing to write home about but the service and food is great.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised to find an authentic Chinese restaurant in the suburb of SLC. Two times we went the food came quickly, and did not disappoint. This is NOT an Americanized restaurant... and not for you if you want the American restaurant service. This place is for you to take a culinary trip to China without having to fly there!

Yelp
New location in Sandy from SLC and happy to see a dim sum place in the area. The dim sum selection isn't as vast as I have seen but they have a good selection of your favorites. Went on a Sunday and they have a good amount of staff serving in a cart and bringing them around on trays and all the items we had were nice and fresh and steamed to perfection. My favorite was their scallop and shrimp dim sum. Also ordered a chau shu noodle soup but it was okay. As the noon approached the parking lot started to fill up and big groups of families showed up. All and all would definitely come again to try other Chinese dishes along with their dim sum.

Yelp
Peking duck Noodle soup is really good, may be my go to item. We also ordered an off menu Salt baked chicken (鹽水雞) which was really good too.
