Cafe Antonietta - Review - Cypress Park - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This cute daytime cafe in Cypress Park looks like someone’s backyard, probably because it used to be at some point. The breakfast menu is short and to the point, with options like french toast bites, a breakfast burrito, and a massive-looking crunchwrap, but the drink list is what caught our eye. There’s a cookie butter latte, a matcha latte with strawberry jam and cream cheese foam, and a Reese’s Puff cold brew topped with a mountain of cereal that looks like something served at Disneyland. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park

Wow! Big fan. I love the vibe and the breakfast crunch wrap is a perfectly indulgent meal enough for two. Prices are excellent and the folks working seemed to be having a great time. I'll be back here for sure.

I have been wanting to come here since this cafe opened because I live right up the street, and I am SO happy I did. The service, drinks, and food is UNMATCHED. This is a Latino neighborhood and to see a Latino owned business back in the neighborhood with AFFORDABLE prices feels like how it did when I first moved here. I got the breakfast sandwich and ordered the special cocoa puff latte. The sandwich was made with love and had all of the flavor components you want in a breakfast sandwich, and my latte was SOOOO good. The vibes, the music, the two people working were just perfect. I am so happy to have this spot here and to come all of the time with my friends/family. 10000/10.

Google
Delicious food! We initially found this place by coincidence, as we walked on the street. We followed the delicious smells and found Cafe Antonietta. Their coffee drinks have unique and delicious options and they also have sweet pastries.

Wow! This place is AWESOME! I wanted to support Latino businesses especially if they are Mexican, therefore I drove to this place from koreatown and let me tell you, it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The service was wonderful the staff was very attentive and friendly (which is rare in LA) they even bring you the food items to your table even when is “to go”. I ordered the Horchata Latte and their famous “Breakfast Crunch Wrap” and it was perfectly tasteful. The horchata latte is not too sweet just perfect, which I loved and the wrap was flavorful! Will definitely come back! Because is Affordable, Friendly and delicious! 🤤 you can pay cash or with your card.

Google
Fantastic food and coffee. The breakfast Crunchwrap I could eat everyday! We also had breakfast tacos and the BLT, would order all of them again. Tried multiple lattes, my favorite was the Horchata. Cute little covered sitting area with tables, and the best service!

We came here on a recommendation from my barber, and wow. We got the breakfast Crunchwrap and it was soooo good. We also tried the match which was delicious. Definitely our new local spot.

Google
Got the breakfast burrito with bacon, it was yummy! There’s a hint of sweetness from the ham. The chipotle mayo and spicy green sauce were really good too! The guys working the counter were really kind. Cute spot for a quick breakfast or lunch in the sunlight.

I tried the cafe de olla iced latte along with their carne asada fries for lunch and they were both delicious. Highly recommend hanging out and enjoying the cute patio.

Yelp
Nondescript but with undeniable allure, I passed by Cafe Antoinetta a handful of times with little more than a curious gaze before I finally decided to pay this cozy little cafe a visit. The food came first. Gigantic. Delicious. Cheap. My lover and I ordered the breakfast burrito and the breakfast Crunchwrap to split and either would have been plenty for the both of us on its own. At ten dollars each, one can't help but marvel at the marriage of affordable prices and large portions in this rat-infested economy. Now the lattes and coffee beverages look like they'll make me teeth hurt and while yes - they are sugary sweet - it's still tasty and refreshing and much more sip-able than it any first appear. We got the lechera latte and the marscarpone latte - both indulgent but delicious. There's not much to say about the service other than it was quick and friendly! Given that this establishment is only a short walk away, I fear I may have just discovered my new favorite brunch haunt and I can't wait for my return.

Yelp
I've been here twice for their brekkie options and I absolutely love it. Cafe antonietta is a hidden gem in cypress park. As loquat stopped making breakfast burritos I came here across the street because I saw it on google maps. Parking is all street parking in a residential-ish area. They have so many cool drinks and matcha and food items. Their breakfast burritos was to die for and their sliders were just like community goods. This super hidden cafe is amazing and I highly reccomend anyone to try it!

Yelp
What a find less than 2 miles from our home. Decadent lattes, breakfast crunch wrap supremes. Who could ask for more? Seems to be busy around 10 am but by 11:30 there was plenty of seating. My only suggestion would be some side walk misters for the summer. The pink decor is so cute too. Excited to come back and dine again.

Yelp
Cozy little outdoor cafe that serves incredible breakfast burritos. One of the few places in LA that make it with chorizo

Yelp
Great service, nice shaded hidden space, and by far the best bang for your buck when it comes to massive L.A. breakfast burritos!

Yelp
Love that this place opened walking distance from my house. So friendly and always good! Been here a few times and will keep coming back to support small businesses!

Yelp
Great and friendly service! I've had the breakfast burrito as well as the crunch wrap. So fresh and delicious! Love this little spot and will def come back.

Yelp
10/10. I used to go to loquat across the street but was tired of the lines (tbh it wasn't worth it) but recently discovered this small cafe across the street. I've had the horchata latte and the Mexican mocha and they both were soooo good. The burrito is also huge and they serve it with salsa and a chipotle sauce. Support small businesses and get your coffee here. It'll be worth it

Yelp
I got the breakfast burrito with maple bacon! I have nothing but great things to say. The flavor was divine. The mozzarella added a creamy touch and the maple bacon was delicious. 10/10 The service was great and the spot is so cute!

Yelp
Such a charming, small, quaint cafe locally owned. The gravel wooden picket fence hides a small ensconced gravel area with a small seating area. I met Andy and Wendy, who run this cool place. I loved the Abuelita Latte. I asked for the least sweet drink, and this delivered but with a punch! It has Mexican chocolate, espresso and milk. The mini pancakes with lachera syrup (condensed milk) was delicious! It's next door to another well known coffee joint, and they both don't compete at all! Each are unique and this place doesn't disappoint!

Yelp
Great addition to the neighborhood! They offer different coffee options from other cafes in the area. The cafe olla and abuelita latte were both delicious. They also have great food options -- the homemade bacon breakfast burrito was so good and HUGE! Really affordable which is nice to see. The owners are the kindest people, they treated us to mini pancakes which we'll definitely be coming back for.

Yelp
The cutest little coffee shop on an on discrete block in Cypress park . I just had their sugar cookie latte and it was delightful. I'm looking forward to coming back to try their breakfast burrito that is actually affordable! They have a few cute little tables set up and they even have mini pancakes on the menu for the kiddos.

Yelp
The coffee from here is some of the best coffee I've had! I ordered their cookie butter latte with vanilla cold foam and the flavor was amazing. I also ordered their mini pancakes with Nutella drizzle and they were fluffy clouds of goodness. I ordered through DoorDash and my order was delivered before the marked time. I will definitely be ordering from them again as well as visiting their location.

Yelp
Ordered a coffee and a burrito this morning. The drip coffee only came in one size and I was a bit disappointed by how small it was. I would have paid more for a larger size because the coffee is good. The burrito is huge. Very good value. Unfortunately, there are egg shells littered throughout mine which is really icking me out. I'm hoping this is just a weird mishap on their end. Cute packaging. Little pink sticker to seal the bag which I like.

Yelp
This is everything I look for in a coffee place. Great coffee and an amazing burrito! Not to mention all the pink and heart shaped straws! Adorable seating area, fantastic service, super sweet staff. Coffee may be sweet to people's taste but that's the style of the coffee. Wonderful all around!

Yelp
Love this place. Delicious food, great employees, good prices, nice ambiance. Big improvement over some of the neighboring joints.

Yelp
Cool coffee spot. Horchata latte was on point! Little seating area. Open Wednesday to Sunday. 8am - 2pm on weekdays. 8-4pm on weekends.

Yelp
Loquat is closed for the week, You walk along the sidewalk to see a pink sign beckoning to you from an archway of greenery. You step into a small gravel-covered patio to find Cafe Antoinetta. You decide to give it a shot and order the breakfast sandwich and the burrito. To your confusion, both of which came out disassembled. The burrito wasn't wrapped tight, so there was already food falling out of it before you could pick it up. The tortilla was stale, and there wasn't a drop of sauce or seasoning to be found. The breakfast sandwich comes served on 4 Kings Hawaiian rolls, but they didn't cut the rolls, making the sandwich impossible to pick up without everything falling out. Avocado spread was anything but fresh, a brown, chalky spread over both orders. Now you're all for a small business opening up, and as for the service the cashier was friendly, however the fact that you paid almost $40 for those two items and a too-hot cup of Keurog coffee was atrocious. You decide to try it anyway and are met with the most bland burrito you've ever eaten, and a truly disgusting flavor combination of the sandwich that leaves you feeling nauseous for hours. You pass by every now and then, shocked to see this new cafe is still in business, and even more disturbed to see the good reviews!

Yelp
TLDR: This place is super legit. Excellent for coffee drinks and breakfast sandos/burritos in a beautiful outdoor space. LONG FORM: Went for coffee and wasn't expecting there to be food. But there's a griddle behind the counter and they make a top flight breakfast burrito. A truly great breakfast burrito should be delicious without meat and this one passed the test. I will definitely go back for more grub at this delightful coffee spot. For those unfamiliar with the area, it's a super chill location in the old bivrit patio, which is like a little oasis on cypress ave (speaking of, please continue to support bivrit; she's still out there slinging delish vegan shawarma at pop ups across NELA). Had a chance to talk to one of the Antonietta owners and they're basically neighborhood kids. Their mom makes the flan they sell--but they stopped selling it when the price of eggs skyrocketed because they couldn't charge enough to cover their mom's costs. So many hipsteratti in LA opening businesses with five to six figure backing from their parents and charging crazy high prices, and this guy was worried about paying his mom a fair price for her flan AND keeping prices low for customers. I love it!!! Only caution--according to the owner--is that service can be slow when it's busy. They're working on it. Don't be in a rush and you'll be all good. Oh, and it's cypress ave, so parking kinda sucks depending on the time of day. Overall, very excited about this addition to the cypress fam. A distinct identity from loquat and saint raf/1802. Don't know if you're gonna hear Peso Pluma bumping at the other spots. So it creates a good balance and synergy between the businesses. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Breakfast burrito is amazing and the Horchata Latte is a perfect mix of coffee and Horchata definitely recommend trying it

Yelp
I found this coffee shop through a friend recommendation, I was so excited to try it out and looked at their stated hours, which are 8am-4pm on weekends. I was having trouble finding parking so I placed an order on DoorDash so I can just pick up, it gave me an estimated time of 10-20 minute wait time, I thought it was fine since I drove so far to try it out. I get a call close to the pick up time stating they were CLOSED, it was 2:19pm. I drove 35-40 minutes to try this cafe out and ended up disappointed. I thought they would refund me immediately or at least apologize, but none of those options were given to me, instead they said "free drinks on them" next time I stop by. Free drinks of them? It is technically MY money. I had to get a refund through speaking with an agent from DoorDash. I am just super disappointed with this experience, and hope they get much better at communicating with customers about their REAL hours. Stating you're open until 4pm but closing early and not letting customers know is unprofessional. I wish this business nothing but the best and hope they take this as constructive criticism. I will not be back, since it was not worth my time or money.
