Cafe Au Play

Good to have. Needs a wider selection of good, fresh pastries, or one stand-alone baked specialty... The muffins and croissants are a bit tired. The yogurt parfait is good but too expensive. But -- the kids really enjoy the well-stacked play center, the many toys, costumes, and the company of each other.

I’ve only been to Cafe Au Play once, but I plan on making the drive from Kenner as often as possible! The service was spectacular and the setting was completely relaxing! Kara was excellent preparing my coffee! Take my advice and visit Cafe Au Play, especially if you have kids! The play area is a great idea for parents to enjoy a good cup of coffee and a pastry while not having to worry about the little ones!

This place is amazing. Every little detail is great for parents/kids. There's a special dual size toilet seat, step stools in the bathroom to reach the toilet and sink, a baby changing table, great coffee, games, and of course an amazing play area!

I didn't enjoy my time here, but I can see why others like it. I went for a La Leche League meeting and the were TONS of moms! I'm an introvert and socially anxious, I had to leave after 10 minutes because it was too crowded and crazy. If you're into that kind of thing it's a fantastic place! Maybe I'll try again when there's nothing going on. The little play area looks fun! My poor 1 year old daughter wanted to play but I couldn't get over the chaos.

Great place for a mom to unwind! The coffee is good, so are the baked goods. I love that they have a place for kids to play! The staff are all super nice too!
