Cafe Bastille in downtown Miami is a true brunch delight! From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with warm, attentive service that instantly makes you feel like a valued guest. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your visit is nothing short of fantastic. The highlight for me was the breakfast steak and eggs! Perfectly cooked, tender braised short ribs are paired with fluffy eggs and topped with a rich, savory sauce that ties every bite together beautifully. It’s hearty, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. We shared it and couldn’t finish it! Combine that with the charming, relaxed atmosphere and you have the perfect spot to start your day. A definite must-try for brunch lovers in Miami!

We had an outstanding experience. The matcha was delicious and the food was served warm. I had the salmon bowl and it was the best thing. The kitchen had slightly burned but didn’t notice and didn’t say a thing about it. The kitchen sent us new buns and our amazing waiter even gave us a complimentary dessert. Al our waiter was on top of everything we needed.

I visited this place for brunch and was so impressed from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a nice mix of cozy seating and bright natural light. The menu had a great variety—something for both sweet and savory cravings. The staff were all very sweet and helpful. A special mention to Jerry 🙌🏽.

Google
This is a great spot for breakfast or brunch. We were drawn by the strong rating and the fact that the chef has a French background, with a menu offering a variety of options. The food was very good and our waiter was kind and attentive. We sat outside on a quiet side street, which was pleasant. Prices are a bit on the higher side. One thing that did affect the experience was a homeless person nearby who shouted for about 10 minutes it was quite disturbing. Also, I would have preferred if the menu labeled some of the dishes as “Mediterranean” rather than naming a specific country.

Google
Such a cute little French spot in Miami! The atmosphere at Bastille is cozy, stylish, and perfect for a brunch date or catch-up with friends. I had the Croque Monsieur—it was rich, melty, and so satisfying. My friend got the Eggs Benedict and loved every bite. Gerardo was absolutely amazing—super attentive and friendly. When our food was taking a bit longer than expected, he comped us some drinks and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. That kind of service really makes a difference! The food, the service, and the vibe were all top-tier. Definitely recommend stopping by Bastille if you’re in Miami. It made our first day in the city so special!

Google
I had to wait quite a bit longer than expected…and very much worth the wait! Second straight Father’s Day brunch at Cafe Bastille and it’s somehow getting better. The service (Shezly) was phenomenal, friendly, always available and not overbearing. And then the food came out and it was all PHENOMENAL!! Pistachio pancakes take the cake, but for something more hearty, I’d go steak and eggs. But not one bite was less than phenomenal! An experience that could’ve and should’ve been much worse because of the wait was turned into a huge positive! Props to the entire staff!

Google
I had an amazing experience thanks to Christ, our server. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. He made great recommendations and ensured that every part of our meal went smoothly. Christ has a warm and welcoming presence that made us feel genuinely taken care of. It’s rare to find someone who balances efficiency with such a great attitude. I would absolutely return just to be served by him again. Highly recommend!

Google
George was incredibly kind and accommodating. When it started to rain he promptly moved us to a dry spot. His service was fast and concise. We will definitely be returning and asking for him as our server. Food was good and fresh and the place has a very fun atmosphere.

Yelp
Food was great! Service was fantastic! The ambiance is superb and I highly recommend!

Yelp
Vibrant brunch spot in downtown miami! We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon with a couple of parties waiting ahead of us but seating moved relatively quickly. Ordered a sausage omelette with the waffle and berries. Both were delish- very fresh! Service was quick. We sat outside which had plenty of tables. Inside also seemed to accommodate several parties.

Yelp
Best french toast i've ever had in my life (& i've been ordering french toast at every brunch spot since i was 14!) This had a cookie crumble, caramelized banana, & was nutella stuffed. It does not get any better!! My husband got a burrito and he loved it!! Said it was the best burrito he's ever had. It was packed with flavor. I'm not a burrito girl, but I loved it. The servers were so nice & for our food quick! The restaurant was SO cute! Love the daisy's and they really killed it on intentionally. Cute plates, cute napkins, cute coasters!

Yelp
While visiting Miami, I ate at this location twice. The staff is nice and they know the menu very well. The ambiance is beautiful as they have an indoor and outdoor area. If you are looking to work or just have a nice breakfast in the Brickell area then this place should be on your list.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious, great service, downtown Miami vibes!!! Everything is good here and perfectly photo worthy. Lots to choose from whether eating in or taking to go. Servers have great recommendations and the manager was working the customers right along beside them helping to keep the daily flow efficiently. Choose between indoor seating or outdoor. We sat outside and loved watching all the dog walkers and fancy cars pass by. Location is walking distance to bayfront park and all the many hotels & condos in the vicinity. Around 9:30am on a Monday it was already showing signs of being a popular spot and for very good reason. Loved it!

Yelp
Great service, fantastic food and coffee, a cute brunch place to meet with friends. There was no wait time, was able to get a table relatively quick. The place is super warm though since they keep the door open
google avatar

Natalia O.

Yelp
I came into this with high expectations due to the overwhelming amount of positive reviews. We went on a Friday morning and the service was extremely slow. It took them about 50 minutes to get our food out. I have a hard time imagining the wait time on a Saturday/Sunday brunch. I had a steak and egg bowl, which was underseasoned. It was also supposed to come with a side of chipotle aïoli but we never received that. We asked the waiter multiple times for it and it never arrived. The Dulce de Leche French that was very tasty and spongy.

Yelp
Went here on a whim because it was close to my hotel. My group wanted brunch and this place was recommended! This place is so cute and has so much character. It's very instagramable (if that's what you like). The service was good and they were attentive. They were so nice even though we came 30 minutes before closing. I felt really bad, but they assured we were okay! The food was delicious. My favorite thing were the beignets with Nutella. It was so decadent and sweet, but I gobbled it up. I ordered the salmon burger. It was tasty, but I wish it had like lettuce and sauce. The rest of the food was delicious. I would come back if I were to be back!

Yelp
This place is so clean and nice. The food is just as appealing as the decor. I appreciate them having a separate to-go and dine-in side. They have ample sidewalk seating but finding parking on the street upon arrival might be a bit tricky and will def cost money. I had the strawberry iced matcha latte and enjoyed it. It was a light, sweet taste. I also had the pistachio and cookie dough croissants. Both were great but I preferred the pistachio. It was in a cool circle shape with a generous amount of pistachio cream filling oozing out of every bite. The cookie croissant was good but I could've lived without the walnuts, they took away from the soft texture and taste to me. I would definitely go back and sit down to eat this time. The staff were pleasant and efficient.

Yelp
Came for breakfast this morning. Sat outside which is nice with umbrellas. Sadly when bus drives by it's inches from you and loud. lol. Our server was very friendly. I had the Truffle Croque Madame. It was pretty good. Bread maybe could be been a little more toasty but over all great flavor. We also got the Nutella crepe with strawberries. Very rich but goooood! Sadly my iced tea spilled as the class was very slippery with condensation. Unfortunately our server didn't offer to get it refilled. Oh well. Good breakfast! A bit on the pricier side for breakfast but Miami in general seems a bit pricey.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
I got the French Breakfast Burrito with a choice of protein as turkey bacon. I ate the whole thing!!! It was so good and filling. The service was very nice and friendly. The server was great! The scenery was also super pretty. I sat in their outdoor seating area and it was super aesthetic & lots of greenery around. Their strawberry matcha latte was also ok. Nice choice for brunch!

Yelp
Cafe Bastille continues to be one of my top brunch spots in Miami. It's been around for years, and even expanded nearby... a welcome addition. Today, I was able to walk in and get seated immediately, which is great because they don't take reservations for lunch. Prior to the expansion, you almost always had to wait. They had a DJ spinning which added a vibe, but sitting too close was a bit loud. I enjoyed the cappuccino in the past and today went with a latte. Unfortunately I ordered an americano too, which surprisingly was bad. I'm not sure the coffee was the same between the two. The avocado toast was tasty; however, the plate was pretty small which made it hard to cut and eat without a mess. A bigger plate would've been welcome. My sister got the French burrito which she enjoyed. I tried bit of the crepe crust and agree it was pretty good! I'd recommend and return!

Yelp
Crepe was amazing ! the place is always amazing. The service is always top tier and food never takes long.

Yelp
We stopped by Café Bastille on a Saturday around 10 AM, and to our surprise, we were seated right away--no wait at all. Fabiana, the hostess, was so friendly and got us a table outside immediately. We ordered a cappuccino, iced matcha latte with almond milk, a crookie croissant (cookie + croissant), and a fruit platter. The cappuccino my husband said was good, and the iced matcha latte was really nice. The matcha was unsweetened, which I appreciated--letting me decide how sweet I wanted it. A lot of places in Miami tend to use pre-sweetened matcha which naturally have unnecessary additives, so I appreciated that Cafe Bastille did not. My husband enjoyed the taste of the Crookie Croissant but couldn't finish it--that it was a bit on the heavier side. Unfortunately, the fruit platter never arrived, and since we had somewhere to be, we just canceled it and paid the check. Before leaving, we grabbed smoothies (the passions fruit one and the Açaí one) from their bakery side, and wow they were awesome! Cold, refreshing, and worth coming back for! Note that this place has a bakery (right next to the Starbucks) and a restaurant side (which is where you go to get a table and sit down to eat). Service started off great but was not consistent as the place was filling up. We waited a bit for the check, and the forgotten fruit platter didn't help. Still, I'd say Café Bastille is worth trying for brunch or lunch. The food coming out of the kitchen looked great, and next time I'll probably sit inside and see how it goes. Wishing this spot all the best!

Yelp
Always such a great ambiance a quick service. We had the crispy French toast bites and a French breakfast burrito. The food was so good and fresh.
google avatar

Ley S.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Friday after my flight during brunch time. Was seated immediately and greeted with friendly service which was consistent throughout! I had the croissant sandwich with avocado added. It was delicious as was my friend's Parisian omelette. I only took off a star because the drinks were watered down and could've been skipped. They have a small indoor seating area as well as outdoor seating. Our outdoor seating was nice and covered with umbrellas and we liked the view of the nice cars driving down the street. The only caveat is they were demolishing a building next door which was a bit of an eye sore.
google avatar

Chloe K.

Yelp
Visiting Miami and my friend who grew up here raved about this place, so we had to visit! It did not disappoint! I ordered a strawberry matcha with oatmilk, a nutella croissant, and the avocado toast with smoked salmon. Literally my dream breakfast. Amazing. My friend got the french burrito, pistachio croissant, and french toast cappuccino. She didn't know what to eat first because everything was her favorite!! We went early ish (10am) and there was no wait, but a line quickly formed around 11am. We ate outside and it was perfect!
google avatar

Yelp
So we dropped our luggage off after the cruise and were on the prowl for food. We came across this place and talk about stumbling on a gold mine. The food and service was amazing. We got the bottomless Bellini option and toasted to an awesome meal. I decided on the burger as I was not feeling breakfast food and it was delicious. The patty was flavorful and juicy and the fries were amazing. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and sat there for a bit soaking up the Miami Vice. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Dima S.

Yelp
We came here for brunch and had a 10- to 15-minute wait before being seated in a charming outdoor area. We sampled a variety of dishes, including Turkish eggs, crepe burritos, shakshuka, and an omelette. While the food was fairly average and nothing extraordinary, the cute decor was a nice touch.
google avatar

Julia R.

Yelp
Server was great & it was awesome to sit outside. My husband & I both had a coffee & he has a breakfast sandwich & I had the açaí bowl. The fruit was fresh but the açaí had chunks of ice in it. Unfortunately the price was very expensive as for all of that & one chocolate croissant it was over $60!!
google avatar

Nina F.

Yelp
It was a busy Friday morning when we came. The food is not worth the wait in my opinion. We sat outside and it was pretty windy so there was definitely debris in our food and drinks which I understand they can't control. However my steak and eggs bowl came with burnt steak so it was not an enjoyable breakfast. My partner had the French burrito but didn't enjoy it because it was already cold by the time it came out. The Nutella was a bit soggy. I think I'll skip this place the next time I'm in Miami. I was bummed because this place had such great reviews so maybe the staff could not keep up with the crowd today. Also the service tip is included in the receipt already.
google avatar

Tahnita C.

Yelp
Love this place so much I had it before my cruise & 1st thing I had to eat embarkation day so, immediately after I left Carnival Celebration I had to go again! I didn't even eat breakfast on The ship! Laughing out loud Food: Exquisite Service: Wonderful Ambience: Perfect cafe It's a must to try; trust...you will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Ellen K.

Yelp
They did not have any tables inside due to renovations. HOT day, giant fans outside. The drinks and food took FOREVER to come out..... - Iced Caramel Latte 2.1/5 On the sweeter side. Thought this was OK. - iced Strawberry Matcha 1.6/5 Bad foamy matcha. weird strawberry syrup. - French Breakfast Burrito 3.2/5 It was interesting eating it with a crepe, knife and fork. I think I would have preferred a regular tortilla. It was pretty flavorful and I enjoyed the white sauce. - Chicken Milanese Eggs Benedict 0.9/5 The chicken is SO dry. It's thin and dry and way too hard to chew. There's barely any hollandaise sauce on top to counter the dryness. Paid lot parking or paid valet parking.
google avatar

Rashid M.

Yelp
I had the Florentine Eggs Benedict. I like that it was served on top of a croissant instead of an English muffin. It came with a side of potatoes. The restaurant is very narrow and was very crowded when I came. I lucked out with a table that was a tight squeeze between two tables because of all the pillows that weren't used from the nearby tables (I know the pillows look cute, but for such a small place, they just get in the way) Service could have been better.
google avatar

Erica B.

Yelp
The food and atmosphere were great ! A little pricey though. I don't like that the tip was already included for our party of 4 . They don't let you know in advance that was the case .
google avatar

Reggie S.

Yelp
So let me just say if you're in downtown Miami, you GOTTA hit this little bakery up. The "monkey bread" was The chocholate and nuts were just the right amount. The Crème Brûlée cube was OFF THE HOOK!! The cream inside was quite the surprise. We got coffee at the Starbucks next door and grabbed some treats and it was WELL WORTH it
google avatar

Ryan G.

Yelp
The food is top notch, some of the best breakfast I have ever had. The drinks were high class cocktails You have to make this your breakfast stop of choice. Our server was polite friendly and on the ball. We ate outside and the umbrellas, floral arrangements made it feel like France
google avatar

Adrienne H.

Yelp
This location is currently under renovation so we sat outside. It's still a really cute setup. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The service here is great. We started off with summer bellinis that were good. I had the french toast butes and potatoes both were really good. Service was great and I'd definitely come back when im in town.
google avatar

Lorraine A.

Yelp
Came for breakfast early morning! Great location easy parking access garage next door. Started with the French toast cappuccino which was delicious! If you're not into sweets, order regular coffee. I had the country ham eggs Benedict and it was amazing, egg was poached to perfection! Ordered a side of the French toast bites and wow! They're so light and fluffy! The service was great, Omar was very nice and helpful.
google avatar

Ruthie S.

Yelp
Walked up, greeted right away. Server is pleasant and eager to provide recommendations. Many types of breakfast and brunch food to choose from. Bottomless everything. Small space inside but much space outside. Decor is friendly, light, and relaxing. Music is great!! Not loud, smooth RnB, I went with the Pink Bellini and the Isreali breakfast The Bellini is good but short in the glass, especially for the price...I'll say go for the bottomless My poached eggs were ice cold along with the rest of my meal. Maybe it's supposed to be cold, but eggs, no. The meal was okay. Would I come back again. No, but it was an expensive experience. In the end, the meals were good, not GREAT!!!! just good, served its purpose.

Yelp
Exceptional service, beautiful decor and delicious food in the heart of Miami? Say what?!?! We had such a great time and though the rain tried to put a damper on our day, it couldn't stop the amazing team of staff and management from ensuring that all guests were taken care of. Now, to the food. We loved our dishes; waffles, omelette, Mediterranean dishes, and the salmon burger with the egg over easy was my absolute favorite! Shezly, our server recommended it and she nailed it. That salmon burger was definitely a great choice and her service was excellent. David, one of the manager came by to check on us along with others and it was great! Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding customer service (a rare find in the 305) but happy I now have a brunch spot. Be sure to check it out and enjoy!
google avatar

Diana O.

Yelp
Found this place online. The restaurant itself is very cute and aesthetic, it does have long wait times depending on when you go. The food is quite overpriced for what you're getting and unfortunately the service is not the best. The fresh juices were delicious and worth buying again!
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
I went to Cafe Bastille for brunch. We were seated right away with no wait. The table was clean and they had very nice decor. The waiter came to the table promptly. We ordered two Strawberry Matcha Latte's and they were so refreshing. We shared two entrees which was Ben's favorite Omelette with a side of potatoes and the Stuffed Nutella French Toast. The French toast was amazing! I highly recommend. Side of potatoes and toast with jam and jelly was also very good. I was not a fan of the omelette but my friend ate it. Staff were all attentive and friendly. I would most definitely want to visit again to try the other dishes!
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
So you may look at this place and think touristy, but the food is definitely worth going for and the service was amazing.
google avatar

Victoria N.

Yelp
I have been here before and this second time was not that great. The prices are outrageous and the service was lacking very much. Our waiter went on break and no one was assigned to take care of our table. We had to ask 4 times (3 times were asked and the waiters would forget) for ice because they do not provide ice when first seated. When the bill arrived, there was already 20% gratuity added. The look of the cafe is cute but definitely not worth the money. The food was good but I'm sure there is food that is cheaper for better in Miami.
google avatar

Lai Wun C.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with some luggage, the hostess was very friendly and helped to hide our luggage in a closed alley behind the restaurant. The service was nice and the seats were comfortable. We ordered the latte, cappuccino, smoked salmon benedict, country ham benedict and the crispy french toast(add Nutella) to share. The crispy french toast was super delicious. Very crispy on the outside, and the inside is soft and fluffy. The Nutella is an upcharged but it's totally worth it. The country ham benedict was decent. The bacon was crispy and the creamy green sauce that comes on the side adds more flavor to the dish. The coffees were made to our liking, not too sweet. They are smooth and the aroma was nice too. Everything tasted good other than the smoked salmon benedict unfortunately. The smoked salmon tasted slimmy and not fresh. We sent it back to the staff and they had no problem to take it off of our bill. Overall I would recommend coming here for brunch or even just for coffee. But probably avoid the smoked salmon.
google avatar

Darshana S.

Yelp
Good food, good service, great music. Only downside was it was way too hot. The AC doesn't work or cos the door was open.
google avatar

Ada Y.

Yelp
Super cute aesthetic cafe that has equally delicious food. Don't miss out on the Nutella croissant pudding, it's like a bread pudding but with croissants. The truffle croque madame was good but it's quite a heavy dish with thick toast. The breakfast croissant was surprisingly yummy and the croissant-to-insides ratio was perfect. We had the French toast cappuccino and the strawberry matcha latte. The French toast one was super deathly sweet if that's your cup of coffee! Everyone was kind, service was prompt, and everything was smooth as expected. Parking is street parking if you're lucky or they are adjacent to a paid parking lot. $14 for up to an hr, $21 for 2-3hrs
google avatar

Jewel R.

Yelp
I got the breakfast croissant and I love that it has bacon jam on it!! Everything tasted so good only thing is I prefer my croissants a little less toasty but other than that amazing food!
google avatar

Erica B.

Yelp
Oh my goodness this place was delicious!! Visited for brunch on a Friday when in town for an event and so glad we did! Our server was Karina and she was so kind, attentive, offered great suggestions and just so sweet! The restaurant itself is adorable and has great indoor and outdoor dining options. We opted for outside on a beautiful November day in Miami. Their lattes were delicious and they offered a great selection of cocktails as well. The French toast bites on the appetizer menu caught our eye and I'm so glad we got them. The pairing with fresh fruit was delicious and it was a large portion that could certainly be a meal. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Kanydah S.

Yelp
Such an amazing place for brunch. We were visiting Miami and needed a nice place to eat. We were so hungry. As we were renting a car for the day it was recommended that we check out this spot. I'm so glad we did. The food for so gourmet. The decor was gorgeous and the bakery was impeccable. I had the breakfast croissant and it was delicious. My husband had gluten free peanut butter and jelly pancakes they were also delicious. The salmon burger was amazing. The DJ was poppin' and the service was great. If you are ever in the area it's a must go.
google avatar

Polina L.

Yelp
This place is an absolute must-visit, with its charming chamomile design and bustling morning street vibe. The white and green color scheme adds to the lively atmosphere. The food is amazing, and the coffee is of exceptional quality. My only regret is not grabbing one of their French croissants to go. Run by a French couple, this gem in the heart of Miami exudes European style. It was truly one of the best brunch experiences ever!
google avatar

Sherryl J.

Yelp
Creative and tasty dishes. I'm not a cherry fan, but I'm hooked. The server was amazing and helpful. She explained the menu options extraordinarily well. The sidewalk and interior are tastefully decorated. Comfortable, homey feel . Only complaint Bacon was a little undercooked.
google avatar

Yainira P.

Yelp
Perfect brunch place ! Everything was delicious and fresh . Our waiter Edward was very nice and welcoming . The croissants were very yummy and tasteful , I had the pistachios one and it was on point with my taste buds . My hubby loved his cappuccino. My crepe burrito was also very good , I have zero complaints! Very much recommended

Lauren F.

Yelp
Wow!!! This place was amazing. We stopped here before we got on our cruise! Definitely didn't disappoint! Christ was our server! He was super attentive to our needs and we were a big group. I have some allergies and he helped me find something that fit my dietary needs that was also yummy! The food is big portions!!!! The inside of the restaurant was so cute! We will definitely be back next time we're in Miami!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for a quick breakfast. We dined outside. This is a downtown location, so expect to see downtown things/people. The staff is friendly. The food is pretty good. My husband & I shared a omelette and potatoes. (Not because it's a huge portion.) the coffee was good as well. We ordered the monkey bread from the bakery as well. We asked for it to be warm but by the time we received it, it was cold.
google avatar

Tiara M.

Yelp
Such a cute spot. The decor is gorgeous, the location is super accessible from all around downtown Miami or Brickell, and the menu has so much to choose from. There is seating inside, outside, and in the bakery as well, which is nice when you want a quieter environment. The turkish eggs are delicious but my favorite menu item is the milanese caesar salad. It is so refreshing and the chicken is so good. Also .... sometimes it's nice to have a proper caesar salad with lettuce instead of a bowl full of kale like everywhere seems to have these days. The servers are nice, but once they forgot my croissant and when I asked, they brought it but it was hard and the almond filling was cold and it did not seem like a fresh item overall. The drinks are really good - apparently they have $5 mimosa specials!
google avatar

Danielle L.

Yelp
Stopped in to have a quick coffee and it even came with a little sweet treat. They also have the famous circle croissants like in nyc. We didn't get a chance to try them while we were there, but hope to soon. They were just around the corner from our hotel and we stopped by for an afternoon pick me up before a night on the strip.

Yelp
So good! I've been wanting to try this place out for a while. I'm just not in the area of that often. Recently I happened to be so I took advantage and had a late Saturday brunch here. They have a great variety of food and drinks. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage which was very yummy. Also liked my cold-pressed juice. Our waitress was great and she was super nice to my son. Highly recommend if you're looking for a brunch in a happening area .
