The best German restaurants in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Authentic German fare finds a home at Cafe Berlin. Schnitzels and sausages make up a bulk of the dinner menu, while sauerkraut and German red cabbage come on the side. Try pretzels and potato pancakes to start. German beers and wines round out the experience." - Susan Stapleton

Tips From A Bellman

Google
I've been coming here for years and could've swore I did a Yelp review before , but it's not showing up. So , let's do one now. I was stationed in Germany for 4 years , 1985 to 1989 when the Berlin Wall was still standing , and of course grew to love German Food and of course German Beer ( Bier ). Whenever I go to other places on vacation I even look for new German restaurants to try. I've been in Vegas since 1991 and used to go to Alpine Village , Cafe Heidelberg , and even the Hofbrauhaus. Cafe Berlin is soooo much better than Hofbrauhaus and the prices are also better. The owners are from Cologne , Germany and the food has flavor , not bland like Hofbrauhaus. The owners and staff are friendly and the selection of foods is very good and also beer selection and desserts. I normally get the Jägerschnitzel which comes with Spaetzle and of course a good German beer. For dessert I like the Apfelstrudel ( Apple Strudel ) with cream and vanilla ice cream. I've brought many of my co-workers here so they could try it and we normally will get a Wurst Plate and the Jägerschnitzel and an Appetizer Plate which comes with a Pretzel , Potato Pancakes , Onion Cheese Twisters , and some sauces , so we can share and they can try stuff they've never had. Everyone loves it and comes back usually asking me to come with them. I also would come almost every year with my son for my birthday. At Octoberfest they have the special beers that come in. They also have Black Forest Cake , Cherry Strudel , and Blueberry Strudel. Of course the Apple Strudel is my favorite. I've had many different things on their menu. They also have a buffet once a month and I miss it every time ! I'm either working or I forget because it's the first Saturday of the month for about 4 hours. I need to set an alert on my phone or something. I would definitely recommend you make a reservation for the buffet if you plan to go. All in all I really recommend you going to Cafe Berlin and if you've never had German Food then bring a friend and get different plates to share with each other.

Google
The food was amazing. My husband enjoyed food like he had growing up from his German mom.

Google
Yummy goodness. Very attentive staff. The Rouladen was delightful. Each bite gave new textures. Not sure if the red cabbage was pickled or just cooked in vinegar, but it was so good. The bread dumplings & gravy remind me of a ball of really good stuffing.

Today was our first visit. Enjoyed a yummy new year's day meal. Soup of the day was potato. 😋.. great texture & flavor. The sample platter had a nice variety of things to try. We were very full so took home an apple strudel. Beers were great too. A ton of food so we have dinner for tomorrow. Our server was lovely; very friendly & attentive. It was a slow day for them but we loved the quiet atmosphere. Enjoyed wathing the video images of Germany too. We are planning to go back for beers & apps at the bar next time. 😊

Google
Ok guys, I’m from Austria where we founded the Wiener Schnitzel. This shop is an absolute scam. I don’t know what they serve in person but please don’t order online. $32 for a mini portion of a horrible schnitzel. This could be only topped with a super super tiny portion of the most horrible potato salad I ever ate. I’m so disappointed! I hope u guys have never Germans or Austrians over to tell u directly what they think!

Google
Die essen war sehr lecker und the costumer service war wirklich toll! The interior is decorated beautifully, and the food was the most authentic German food I've had in a restaurant Nevada.

Mellisa Brewer

Google
Cafe Berlin has the best food in Nevada! The service is fantastic! It's the best kept secret that everyone should check out!!!

Ryan “Rhino” Hollon

Google
The Schnitzel was amazing! I will be back for sure! Im not much of a beer drinker, and for some reason, i ended up choosing the wheat beer that came in a tall, shapely glass, OMG Quite possibly the best beer i ever had. I I haven't been able to find anything close to it since. I would recommend this place to everyone, even just because of the service.

Yelp
food: we ordered the sampler plate- it's a bit more than two could eat but everything was delicious. make sure you get mustard for your brats. we got the mushroom gravy which complemented the spaetzle well. really good sauerkraut service: friendly and competent ambiance: german music, clean, excellent experience

Yelp
Fleisch, Fleisch, Baby Reviewers of German affiliation gave Berlin Café rave reviews, both for its fare and atmosphere. German cuisine is primarily meat, or fleisch as the Germans say. It's hearty main courses are+ can be tangy. Often a starch such as spätzle offsets, the strong flavors. The spätzle served with the Jagger Schnitzel was springy with a unique texture: firm but pliant. Jagger Schnitzel, a lightly breaded chicken cutlet, was done to a turn. It is moist and cooked without a trace of grease. If you miss everything else, go for the blue berry strudel. . It's not sugary thick and cloying. It is refreshing, tasting strongly of blueberries. Miss the rest if the price tag scares you, but don't miss the blue berry strudel. The atmosphere is minimalistic but comfortable. The Berlin Café' is spotless, a fine dining kind of place. Distractions are few. This dines took place on a late weekday afternoon: business was slack. Parking was not a problem.

Yelp
Went here while staying in Vegas for a work trip, trying to stay away from tourist traps. There's inflation- and then there's highway robbery. Ordered the smaller sausage currywurst because I was told the regular sized portion would be too much. I received 5 pieces of sausage in some curry sauce with a few French fries, for $23!!! I get that Vegas is overpriced because it's Vegas... but this is extortion. How they can get away with charging these prices for what you get, makes no sense. And the food wasn't even that good! Just as well, the service was very, "European." But this is America, so even if you have no personality or hospitality skills, you're still expected to tip. Oh, AND they expect you to make a reservation! To say I was supremely disappointed by my experience here, would be an understatement. Save your money to eat somewhere else, unless you like overpaying to be unimpressed and still hungry.

Yelp
I've only been to Cafe Berlin twice, and the first time I loved it although I thought the prices were too high. I think I had the chicken schnitzel and red cabbage. The second time I had a bratwurst sandwich. It tasted good and was satisfying. I love German food, but Cafe Berlin is a little too expensive for me. I can't wrap my head around paying almost $30 or $40 for an entree in some cases. The ambiance is okay, it's a little cafe and the service was fine. Not great but not bad. All in all, I don't think I'll be back. Not worth it for me for those prices, but if that doesn't bother you then the food is good and they have good German beers.

Yelp
Quality authentic German food. My husband was born and raised in Germany and says this place is the real deal. The appetizer combo is fantastic - it comes with potato pancakes, pretzel, and onion cheese twister - all of which are hot and fresh! The jaeger schnitzel with spaetzle is my favorite dish, and the noodles are house made so taste amazing. Would recommend if you're looking for great German food!

Yelp
If your into German Cuisine it's right up your alley. Came in for an early evening bite. Enjoyed a nice Hefeweizen (Paulaner) severed in traditional Glass Boot. Ordered up the Potato Pancakes & Nurenberger Rostenbratwuerst (one of my favorite German dishes). The Nurenberger was delicious - cooked perfectly, the Potato Pancakes were a bit burnt for my liking, I couldn't get past the burnt taste and they needed a bit of seasoning ( always one my favorite dishes at a German Restaurant) but this was a bummer. I would give it 4-1/2 stars if I could - it really didn't live up to a full pledge 5 star review in my opinion. Well give it another try thats for sure. The prices are bit high but you get what you pay for, so quality on the Brat was there for sure. Plenty of parking & the staff was attentive and friendly.

Yelp
The food is phenomenal! They also conveniently offer many of their entrees in a smaller portion for a discount. The service was as expected. The restaurant is clean and open, but the vibe and decorations are a huge miss in my opinion. It just doesn't scream "German" the way it should. With how good the food is, there seems to be a real missed opportunity to make the interior design feel more authentic to match the food coming out. It was also not that telling from the outside that you're about to come in and get some amazing German food other than 'Berlin' being in the name of the place.

Yelp
Arrived at opening time on a Sunday. Quick service but we were the only customers. Good food and we appreciated the birthday dessert!

Yelp
Upon the glowing recommendation of someone who loved this restaurant, we decided to try it. Wish we can say we loved it, but we can't. Upon entering this restaurant, we were so happy to hear people speaking German. Aha! We thought we are in for a treat because this place must be authentic. We were excited to see German wines (liebfraumilch, riesling, spatlase) on the menu. Ordered liebfraumilch and it was perfectly chilled. Loved it. We ordered sauerbraten, and substituted potato pancakes instead of spaetzle, and cordon blue vom schwein (pork) which came with fries. The fries were amazingy good --- so crunchy and tasty. The cordon bleu was good enough, but not outstanding. A little more cheese may have made a difference. Although they gave us nearly 1/2 lb of beef slices for the sauerbraten, sadly it was not as good as I had hoped. There was not enough sauce (and it looked like an ordinary brown gravy). i was looking for evidence that vegetables were cooked with the gravy, but couldn't detect a hint of vegetables. Maybe the chef is from a region that didn't cook vegetables to make the sauce. And it wasn't sour (sauer) enough for my taste. I am still in search for good sauerbraten. As for the potato pancakes......that was a disappointment as well. Very limp and greasy. Guess I was looking for the consistency of hash browns. Their homemade apple strudel was tasty ...and this was probably the best part of our meal. The whipped cream was so light. the flavor not too sweet. But the pastry could have been better. We did appreciate how attentive and conversant our server was. Perhaps we'll go back and try something else. But we'll probably keep looking for another German restaurant and compare.

Yelp
TOFTT. We decided to give this a try for lunch instead of our usual visit to Hoffbrauhaus Las Vegas. Immediately upon entering the we saw the chalk board with the Specials and checking it out while we were waiting to be seated then the waitress called us over with an annoyed hello. She led us to the table and tossed the menu as she walked away. We did not feel welcome here. We ordered the Sampler plate so we can try a variety of dishes. It came out and looked really good. Sad to say it looked better than it tasted. Everything was barely warm except for the Schnitzel which it self was really tough and dry. In fact all the were dry and tough. Basically everything was left over food the night before which was reheated. The service was good. There was an Asian waitress (not the one who sat us) and she came by to check on us and refill our drinks. We will not return. It was a waste of our time and money.

Yelp
Had a craving for some German food so we decided to go back to Berlin Cafe. Food was great once again, however, we were disappointed with the service this visit. Servers weren't friendly and not very attentive. I wanted to ask for a side of gravy foe the spazle, but our server did not come back after our food can out to see if wee needed anything and we finish them off very slowly waiting for the opportunity to make our request. We weren't asked if we wanted dessert and had to inject that to the server. Hopefully, next time we visit, there will be an improvement.

Yelp
We hadn't eaten German food in Vegas since Cafe Heidelberg closed down over ten years ago. Cafe Berlin definitely takes its place! The restaurant has a nice ambiance with a good bar to sit at. There are some nice decorations on the walls. My wife had the Cordon Bleu. It was cooked nicely and had very good flavor. There was a tiny piece of fat in it, but that probably was an anomaly. The portion of french fries was large and were cooked crisply and thus were delicious! I tried the Schweine Schnitzel with German potato salad. It was breaded perfectly, excellently prepared, and not greasy whatsoever. I was disappointed that the German potato salad was served cold. I had a couple of very good German beers. My wife's German wine was quite good. The item you HAVE to order at Cafe Berlin is one of the strudels. We had the cherry strudel and it was out of this world! It comes with a nice sauce and whipped cream. I would make the drive to Cafe Berlin just to try the apple and blueberry strudel!

Yelp
Still auzgezeichnet! Wunderbar! Even many years after our first visit, Cafe Berlin remains top notch! Having lived in Munich for many years I can say Cafe Berlin has great German food! This Sunday we visited they seemed very short staffed with only one server. He was really hustling and trying his best, though. The food is still excellent! Definitely visit Cafe Berlin for great German food!

Yelp
Cafe Berlin was an exciting option to get into the Oktoberfest feeling! It's located more on the West side of the valley, so a bit of a commitment, but I was encouraged by the reviews. I have to say that I left with the feeling that most of the food was good, but nothing outstanding for sure! I had the sampler platter of sausages which comes with four different styles of sausage, a great bed of mashed potatoes, and a great version of cabbage! My problem with the dish was each of the four sausages tasted exactly the same! There was no difference in the flavors of each, nor would I say that the sausages had any kind of distinctive flavor at all. The appetizer sampler was good, not great, and well overpriced! I realize that everything is higher now, and eventually that is passed along to the customer, but the product must meet that increased price range or I simply can't justify it!

Yelp
Amazing food. Love German. Rouladen is my fave and it's great here! I've been a number of times but always get the same meal. Oh, but I get with the spaetzle. It's delish!!
google avatar

Politically I.

Yelp
I gave this restaurant 5 stars because I love German style food. I had the Jaeger Schnitzel and it was very good. A nice change of flavor in a sea of mundane restaurants. The cafe is pretty small but clean and the staff was great. I will definitely be going back. I want to try the rouladin next time. Sorry no pictures.

Yelp
Yum!!! That sums up the food. We traveled here from the Bay Area. Driving by I saw this place so my son and I stopped in because I have a craving for schnitzel and spaetzel once I saw the name from the road. The restaurant is spacious. It's clean. The bathroom is clean and easy to locate. There is plenty of parking as it's in a strip mall. It may appear closed or dark outside. But very nice inside. The service. Excellent!! Just charming. Friendly. Helpful. I can't remember her name but she's wonderful! She recommended the red cabbage. And I loved it. That dish alone was so tasty. I ordered the schnitzel with brown gravy and a side of spaetzel. I don't like a lot of gravy and I like it served on the plate with the schnitzel on top. It wasn't served like that so I was a little hesitant. It didn't matter. It was so good. The prices were very reasonable. I've seat recommended this place. It's a stop I plan to make whenever I'm in Vegas.

Yelp
For $35 I got 1 stale pretzel, 2 paper thin potato pancakes that tasted like they were reheated left overs with top of potato pancake burned so had that burn taste and 1 blueberry strudel that when once I reheated at home was ok but skimpy on the blueberry filling. That's not enough for me to give higher than a 1 star rating. Now I know why this place was empty, not one customer.

A. B.

Yelp
They don't even make the Black Forest cake, it was $16 a slice! They told my bf they buy it from Manan Bakery if he wants to get it cheaper next time; they said a whole cake was $90. I wonder if that bakery makes it differently for them since the cake wasn't consistent per slice, one slice had two layers that had some cherries and mine had one layer and the whipped cream was so much more prominent than the cherries it didn't even read Black Forest Cake. Plus the cake was dry like it was sitting out for a few days. If you serve from a whole cake, you should make sure the rest doesn't go stale and still sell it for the same price. That's days old cake, discount it. The person over the phone said if they ran out, they would make some fresh!!! What a crock of bs. Whoever wrote the reviews before stating this was great cake, I'd like my money back please.

Yelp
Great German food! Ambience is a bit spartan, but not bad. We love going here and is a popular place.

Yelp
Been searching for a authentic German place since we tried Haus Murphy in AZ ... I think we found it! The paprika gravy was amazing and so was the German potato salad, my husband had the cordon blu which was so delish and the crust on it was perfect .. the potato pancakes were such a treat and the blueberry strudel was a perfect ending warm and obviously home made with just a touch of sweetness from the whip cream .. the waitress was also great and friendly we will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Loved the food. There were 6 of us for lunch. This restaurant is very small but had a good lunch crowd. Our server was very friendly even though she was overwhelmed and had to be reminded of a few things. We weren't in any hurry and we understood. It's not worth having another server on duty for lunch time because it wouldn't be worth it for them or the company. The prices were very reasonable and I would recommend Cafe Berlin for the food. As far as ambience, there really isn't any. But that's ok. Loved the food. Will go back again. Just make sure you're not in a hurry.

Yelp
Small, unassuming place that one could easily pass by - do yourself a favor and go in. The food is excellent, real traditional German food, plentiful and flavorful. A reasonably extensive menu cries out to be sampled from in all categories. The pretzels are not to be missed. They are warm and large and delicious, served with mustard and/or a cheese spread. Today I had the Wurstplatte, a plate of delicious sausages (4) with gravy, sauerkraut and a mound of terrific mashed potatos. 1 plate was two meals. The various schnitzels are excellent and the potato pancakes are authentically good. I love this place and if you like German food, you will as well.
google avatar

Jeff M.

Yelp
Can't recommend this place enough. The establishment is nestled away inconspicuously in a little strip of stores. Never from the outside would I image what delicious German food and a great atmosphere would be contained within! I've gone a few times now. I started with Rouladen. Gosh. Just an impeccable dish. Enough to share with my wife. Last time we went I got Schnitzel. The service was prompt and dishes were affordable. They're conveniently located near my favorite Dispensary so I am definitely looking forward to going back!

Yelp
We had dinner there with 20 of our friends to celebrate the 92nd birthday for a close friend. we had eaten there every year for the past several years, so I expected the same great food and service that we had received in the past. I was very disappointed. The food was not made fresh and the service was lacking. I had chicken cordon bleu and what I received was more like a breaded piece of chicken with a slice of Swiss cheese melted on top. There was NO ham in it at all. It was over cooked and tough. So disappointed! I will not go there or recommend it again. The only thing that was as good as I remember was the hefeweizen. I recommend the Hofbrauhaus for good German cuisine.

Yelp
We love cafe Berlin. Very consistent and good quality food. The owners are great also. I highly recommend Cafe Berlin.

Yelp
Decided to stop by this restaurant on a Saturday evening it was just about 6pm Place was a ghost town... there was one table at the time we arrived there (party of 2) Upon entering the restaurant we were NOT greeted at all, the initial treatment we received felt like Hitler was there in person, the lady that "helped" us initially her attitude was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable in so many levels. After NOT greetings us she puts menu on the table and says GO... It was disheartening what we went thru yesterday, never felt so humiliated before, and I been here for 22 years... After we sat down (quite shocked by now) a new lady came over, she was rather nicer than the previous one. She wore glasses was short and looked like she may be of Asian descent (I could be mistaken) but she was friendly however. We started off with potato pancake which was good, I had a Hefeweizen as well. As for entrée we both had the Wurstplatte, the food was decent but if you compare it to Hofbräuhaus it doesn't come even close in taste. I really thought this place would be the one. The mashed potato tasted like straight out of the box instant potato and, the sauerkraut was the best part of the dish it was actually good! The sausages were average as well they all tasted the same. It was rather disappointing. For $27.99 a plate along with the awful way were treated initially, I will never return to this restaurant and will not recommend it for anyone I know. No one deserves to be treated the way we were. Completely unacceptable!!! Sadly my best friend is German and a wonderful person. Today it seemed such a different atmosphere... Café Berlin you left an awful taste in our mouths... One that we will never forget for years to come. Even with the acceptable service given by the second lady that was friendly and nice, there's no way I'd ever feel comfortable enough returning to this restaurant.

K M.

Yelp
The food was perfectly prepared and the service quick and professional. The Black Forest cake should not be overlooked.

Yelp
Yummy. Always soooooooogood. This place is the real deal. Bier is always good strudel is the best there is. Schnitzel is amazing. Sauerbraten is amazing. Come get some of this awesomeness!!!!! Alles zehr gut!!!

Yelp
Came here at the recommendation of two good friends and they tagged along with me. There were so many good choices and flavors. We started off with the German beers and continued to do a few more after that. Then came the appetizers of potato pancakes, pretzels and Assorted condiments for your dipping pleasure. Me and one of my friends ordered the (sausage) wurst platters which came with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes. We also got a side of red cabbage. My other friend ordered the Jaeger Wiener schnitzel. This reminded me of some of the foods that my mom and my family grew up on. Next time I'm going to get some sauerbraten and other treats. We all shared each other's food and there was plenty of leftovers. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. We stayed until the place closed and then some. Almost forgot we had the apple strudel and that was it was good. Next time may be the blueberry I'll try.
google avatar

Tim J.

Yelp
Unfortunately disappointed. Room to improve. Food was overpriced. No atmosphere. No German theme at all. For $27.99 you got Cordon Bleu and fries. That including no salad or bread etc. overcooked and dried out as seen by the cheese. The JAEGER SCHNITZEL 25.99, the schnitzel was good however the best part of a JAEGER SCHNITZEL is the sauce and was bland with no flavor. Potato pancakes order was forgotten was given the option to cancel as my food had already arrived, pretty standard pancakes. Had no interest in dessert due to overall experience nor was offered. Bathrooms were unattended with trash on the floors. Overall it was barely ok. My craving for German food was not found here. Service was bland as well. Overall experience was poor. I believe correcting the issues could make this a good place by providing an experience as well as great tasting food.

Yelp
Being of German descent and from the Midwest, my family always fed us "German" food but nothing all too traditional so as I got older, I sought the real deal and found some good spots in places like Chicago, Boulder, Portland, and now finally I have another places to add in my home town. Cafe Berlin is a well designed, though pretty small restaurant which churns out some bombs German cuisine. My party got the appetizer combo platter (German pretzel, potato pancakes, onion cheese twisters, and accompanying sauces), Jaeger Schnitzel, Frikadelle, beer, apple strudel, and cherry strudel. Every item on the combo platter was delicious and quite filling as it was essentially all carbs and starches. The frikadelle, which was I got, was two extremely flavorful meat patties covered in an even more flavorful brown gravy (think German meatloaf). Personally I thought the cherry strudel could've used some more spices but my friends loved their apple strudel. I was also a bit surprised at the prices but then again, I think everywhere that is everywhere nowadays unfortunately. That being said, I will definitely be back and will be taking my family.

Excellent schnitzel and potato pancakes, just like my mom used to make it! Also the lady server/bartender was great. Looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
Wanted to try something different so we decided on a German Restaurant. Cafe Berlin was a pleasant experience. We ordered the Sampler Platter so we can taste a little of everything. The platter was extremely generous. The food was very good. My favorite was the homemade apple strudel. I am not a beer drinker but my husband did order German beer. The service was excellent. Our server is originally from Germany so she was helpful when it came to the menu. Definitely worth a try if you are in the mood for German food.

Yelp
Ordered the Rahmschnitzel.. it was beyond horrible! Forget about a cream sauce! It was a Béchamel full of flour no taste at all, it was like wallpaper glue! I was looking forward to the Apfelstrudel.. well it was not baked and it is not homemade like they claim. Another table complained and didn't even leave a tip. It's not the waitress's fault! It is an insult to the German Cuisine! But they are not shy for their way overpriced menu!

Yelp
Ahoy there, matey! I be Pirate, and I've got a bone to pick with ye, Cafe Berlin. Ye've robbed me and me crew of the joy that came with a fine all-you-can-eat buffet. Ye turned it into a sorry excuse for a meal and now we're left with nothing but disappointment and an empty coin purse. 'Tis a shame, really, because ye used to be a fine establishment - a shining star in the sea of mediocre rest'runts - but now ye've fallen into the depths of Davy Jones' locker. How could ye do this to us pirates? We're always in need of a hearty meal, but ye've left us with meats so tough it's like chewin' on me own boot! Ye must know, good sirs, that pirates do not take kindly to being robbed of their bounty. We won't be back at yer establishment unless ye shape up and sail right. Bring back the grand feast that ye once provided, or ye'll be walkin' the plank faster than a seagull swoops down on a fish! Sincerely, Pirate

Yelp
This place came highly recommended over the other German restaurant. One of our party had been there many times and said it was wonderful. All of us had the same opinion this night. The place is cozy, the staff is helpful and efficient. Our food came out in a reasonable time. Even thought it was on a Tuesday at around six the place had space . The beer was excellent. That's the good. The food was mediocre at best. The schnitzel tasted tough and greasy. The cordon blue had minimal ham and cheese. Portions were great. The jaeger had the same issue. The jaeger came with fries. The shoestring kind and was left on the plate. The rouladin did not impress. Hopefully this was only a bad night for the chef. Since I don't live in Las Vegas and it will probably be another ten years before I come back I won't know. Good luck

Yelp
I was craving for schnitzel so we came here for lunch. First time I heard my husband cringe at the prices. That's not a good sign. Been to Germany several times and loved their brats. So our orders had to be different so we can share. He started with a cup of goulash which was good and you can compare the taste to a chili (crackers on the side would've been nice). His main dish was the Rahm Schnitzel with spaetzel. We ask that sauces be on the side for both our dish. I had the Bier Brats with sautéed onions and well done potatoes. Both dish were tasty but on the salty side. The server gave us "german" mustard and it did tasted a little bit better. The spaetzel per my husband was bleh. We were hungry so we did finished our main food (meat) not the accompaniments to it. It is now almost bedtime as I am writing this and my tongue is still feeling the saltiness of the food. Lunch total was almost $50 with just water and no other drinks. It is not cheap here but maybe to others it is authentic. It's been a long while we've been to Hofbrahaus but the noise there I can't stand. At least here I was able to savor the food in peace.

Yelp
Really great food! We were a party of 4, Potato Pancake appetizer was amazing! We got 2 Jaeger Schnitzels, so crispy, the spaetzle was delicious and so was the mushroom gravy. Sauerbraten was so good! The sausage platter was delicious and the portions were large, we took some of everything home. Got the strudel and Black Forest cake for dessert, both were so good!!

Yelp
Is this authentic German food? Yes. Is there authentic German/Austrian pop music? Oh my gosh, yes!! This place was amazing!! Great food and great service and some darn good beer. If you're looking for something off strip and low key (this is a place you can take your kids), then def try this place out! (Totally would have posted food pics...but I sort of just started eating it as soon as it came out...like I said, it was great!)

Yelp
We are new to Las Vegas and made a fantastic discovery of Cafe Berlin! It was suggested we try the sampler plate to have a taste of a variety of dishes. We were astounded at how absolutely delish it was!!! The beer was great too. They have a homemade mustard that is to die for.....and even though there was so much food and we took some home beca we were stuffed, we bought dessert to take home!

Yelp
No vienerschnitzel... Otherwise food is good, although extremely pricey. Weisbier on tap. Could be colder but happy that they serve it. Food came warm but not hot. Very good side dishes, authentic recipes. For the prices, portions should be somewhat larger.

Yelp
It's bad when you are the second group to arrive and wait, wait and wait for the server who is visible in plain sight eating food from the serving station. Normally when you get Schnitzel you hear the pounding of the meat no just the cook walking around looking lost. Ambiance was like being in a pipe fittings factory. I suggest learn how to cook the traditional way, don't insult the German Heritage anymore. I highly recommend you avoid going to this restaurant it's just a modified Burger King with a German name

Yelp
the only person that acknowledged me was a guy. I do not know if he was a manager. however the waitress did not acknowledge me nor my co worker what so ever. did not once come to ask us if we wanted a drink nor did she even tell the other parties that she will be back and to give her a second. we were there for almost 20 minutes. 10/26/2023

Yelp
This was my second visit to Cafe Berlin, the German Food is excellent, so is the service. I ordered the sampler platter since it has a little bit of all the food, for dessert so decided to try the Black Forest Cake, it was delicious. If you enjoy German Food or would like to try it, I highly recommend trying Cafe Berlin.

Yelp
Been wanting to eat here for about a year now. The service was excellent, facility was clean and there was plenty of parking. We ordered the basic schnitzel, one pork, one chicken, substituting fries for the salad and I got the spaetzle with the chicken. Our food was really good and worth the visit. The meals were served hot and fresh. The spaetzle was tasty and tender. It is a few dollars more than expected but most things are nowadays.
