Cafe Bistro

I'm surprised to find out this cafe exists. It is located on the second level within Nordstrom. It is similar to quick service dining. Where you order and pay for your meal and drink prior to being seated. However, you can order additional from the menu when dining. I ordered the skirt steak with asparagus and potatoes. It was fantastic. I did not expect it to be so good. The food was seasoned! My server, Jay was great as well. I will definitely be back.

Only 3 tables and the food took so long to arrive. A silly spectacle of a once great dining experience. Overcooked salmon, under seasoned pasta. When asked for pepper…server brought a bit of fine pepper as if they’ve never heard of cracked pepper on pasta. A waste of $50+ bucks.

SoulEdge: We can be Heroes, one & everyday.. Arrived there for lunch. Hostess was cool, she helped me ordered my food before I sat down. There is an option of tipping including ( I did tip btw ) and there is a visual plate of the desserts. Estefania was my server. I ordered Nordstrom Burger, Crème brûlée, and juice. The dessert came late, Estefania apologize for it. No biggie, things happen. Love the Garlic Aïoli sauce, the juice tasted fresh. This visit dedicated to my ex German American girlfriend. Cue in the songs: " My Sacrifice"by Creed and "Beautiful Day" by U2 🇺🇸 🇩🇪 🎸 ✌️

Awesome place! If you are prepared to spend money then this is worth it. Quality food and huge portions. So don't be discouraged, you will get your money worth I promise. As far as wait time. It was quick but I went during the week so I'd assume it would be longer during the weekend. Also parking is annoying so be mindful of that which also have to pay for.

Had a great time at Bistro cafe. If you don’t lose your patience with the madness outside waiting to be seated, you will enjoy the variety of food and creative drinks. Wish my mimosa didn’t taste only like plain Prosecco, but once the fruit pop in cup melted, it tasted better. The servers were polite and made very helpful suggestions. Huge portions, so make sure you are hungry when you visit. Great ambiance and decor. Would return but would avoid popular times.

This system at Nordstrom Bistro in Aventura does not work if you’re inviting a client for lunch. First, you need to order food to be able to sit. I arrive early for my meetings, having to wait for my client to sit down makes no sense. Even though the restaurant was empty, with several unoccupied tables, the hostess still made me stand outside waiting for my Client to arrive. Worse, my Client called and said he was late. I gave-up and left to another restaurant where I could be seated. Another thing, you can't even offer your Client to pay the bill because you have to order before being seated. Lunch with Clients? Don’t make arrangements to come here.

The bread pudding is out of this world. I love if they did a dark chocolate sauce version of it too. The crab bisque soup is just right, great texture and taste. The turkey sandwich is also another great choice with a wide of crispy fries and that olive sauce is something I've never had. Il have everything again. Also price wise is absolutely affordable. I can tell my teens to go have lunch there rather than the food court on the mall.

Just had the best onion soup I've had so far in south Florida. Plus a great half sandwich . What a great lunch . Service was excellant with cozy seating. However .... I went back two days later and ordered onion soup take out and they forgot to add the cheese. :( I was not happy when I got home!

I used to eat at the Nordstrom cafe in Chicago almost every day when I worked near there years ago. Fast forward to now visiting this location in Miami's Aventura Mall and wow, they do not meet the bar set by the Chicago location. Bowl of tomato soup was really hot (temp wise) and a bit thick (probably because it was sitting in a heated pot all day). My salmon salad was so disappointing. The salmon was so dry, the lettuce drenched in too much dressing, the potatoes burnt, shriveled, and bitter. They charged $4 for a small bottle of water!! I paid $40 for a little soup, a piece of salmon (which was the only part of the salad I could eat), and water. That's highway robbery. I could have had something nice at a sit-down restaurant for that price! Waitress was a sweetheart though, but don't come here expecting a cheap or good lunch. Maybe just come for coffee and dessert.

I liked this place. Kind of a weird system where you purchase at counter first and then sit down but it was convenient where I could just leave and not have to wait for the server to bring me the check. I was by myself shopping at the mall and was pregnant and starving. I ordered a margarita pizza and it was delicious! I was very happy with it. Overall I would come back if I need a place to quietly eat and relax while I'm visiting the Aventura mall

Had great service. You order at the register and then they seat you if you are dinning in. We had a bowl of roma tomato basil soup and a bowl of split pea soup. Both were very tasty and hot. We also shared the artichoke spinach dip and the red bell pepper is a great addition to the original recipe.

Bistro has a very nice staff. The food is really good, we had the crab bisque, the shrimp scampi pizza, chicken club sandwich and the cheese burger. All were superb! I'll definitely go back for lunch again! The only odd thing is that you pay upfront and then seated but you are well taken care of by the wonderful staff.

We decided to return to Cafe Bistro and I am glad I did. I ordered fresh lemonade and was told that it was pretty sweet. It was recommended to me that I haven't watered down. This was good advice because the lemonade turned out to be just the right amount of sweetness for me. I ordered my beloved french onion soup which was just as good as ever. The cheese was perfect shot! I really like the bread they put in the soup. It stays pretty solid yet of course soggy, but does not fall apart like it does at some other restaurants. Today I ordered the Pomme Frits chicken. I am sure I am butchering the spelling but that is what it sounded like when the name of it was repeated to me. This chicken is just as good as it looks. It is seasoned just right with a little bit of bold spicing and marinated nicely. This piece of chicken was so huge that I had to take home some. I also took home some fries and today they were served very hot. Maya was our server and she was really sweet and very helpful. Thanks Cafe Bistro for a great meal!

Unfortunately today it was not a pleasurable dining experience. The pizza was just warm, the fries which is one of their signature dishes were also cold and the food took forever to come out.

I am Team Cafe Bistró but I can tell you that the service has really declined in the past few years. I arrived with my family and the young lady behind the register just seemed upset. No good evening, not a hello, nothing. Made no attempt to be friendly, maybe she was having a tough night. Now to the service, my cilantro lime shrimp salad arrived , no shrimp. My husband was served the wrong soup but served after he mentioned he ordered a soup and my niece's hot fudge brownie .. was cold. I was hoping that the last few times I visited were just a fluke and blamed it on coming in close to closing, but it has honestly taken a turn for the worst. Sad really.

My daughter and I were frequent customers before covid, and have been now twice since. The first time back was about two months ago and was wonderful. Everything was a 10/10. We always love the Cilantro Lime salad with shrimp and couldn't wait to come again. Yesterday, my daughter and I went again while walking around the mall and were craving that salad like crazy. While sitting and waiting for around 30 mins for the food to come, Luis who was our amazing server, apologized for the food taking so long and offered us soup or bread while we waited. The salads came and the shrimp in it still had the feces track in them which is awful and totally ruined our appetite. Luis offered us something else which we got the French Dip and the Turkey club which were okay, but we were weren't even very hungry after seeing the shrimp like that. Then we had some coffee which ended up having a gnat in it. Update: the restaurant manager Jorge called me and apologized for the experience yesterday. I have changed my stars rating from 1 star to 3 stars because of how impressed I was with the call from Jorge and Luis as a server overall. Hopefully when we come back to try again, it is as good as it used to be.

There's no point for me to shop at Nordstrom and not have lunch there. It's a must for me. I love the onion soup and chicken pasta. I wish I had the recipe to do the dish all of the time. And let's not forget the bread pudding, one of my tile favorites.

I'm conflicted writing this review because I went while sick so I can't speak much to the flavor of things, BUT i'll comment on the place itself. It's my first time even hearing about this cafe, so I popped in for a small bite: crab bisque. My cousin ordered the bread pudding - she lives by it. As I said, I was sick, but from the little I could tell, the soup was really good! Had a good spice to it, and I could see / feel the chunks of crab. As for the restaurant itself, very cute and looks high end. You order at the front, and are then sat. This is where it gets confusing. After ordering and paying we were taken to our table where a server came by to greet us and look at our order (from the receipt on the table). He brought out waters and later brought our dishes. At the end he presented us with our check (which, again, we had already paid at the front) with a smiley face and a note that read "thanks, chris." I felt very uncomfortable because I like to tip well, but I did not have any cash on me! I hope Nordstrom pays them well because I doubt they get many tips. It's unfair to them, and unfair to the customers as well as they feel as guilty as I did. I wish the concept would have been explained better - either do it all up front and include a gratuity option, or pay at the end of the meal like in a sit down restaurant.

honey has the BEST music playlist ever. The music set the tone for the atmosphere. The bar service was outstanding and Darren the bartender was very accommodating. The should be more isolated and not in a shopping center because of the business it brings so much business. I had the DIY omelette and it was amazing!!!!! The food was fresh and tasteful. Full of flavor and decent portions. The cheese grits was on point and made from scratch. My friend had the French toast and potatoes, which he rated it a 9/10. They did not disappoint and should be a must visit when visiting Miami. Also the drinks were good as well. It had everything you want in a brunch environment. Employees were nice and presentable. No complaints and no real issues to state.

Cafe bistro inside of Nordstrom Aventura IS A HIDDEN GEM !! service is always Impeccable , the food is to rave for ! can't wait to come back !

Getting down to the nitty gritty, it's just not the same Cafe Bistro I've visited before. While the food itself was decent to good, none of the flavors blew my mind. I ordered a salad with chicken, which was well over-cooked and dry. The Margherita pizza was lackluster, not even close to other thin crust pizzas I've tried. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of their desserts; their white chocolate bread pudding hasn't changed one bit. It's still as delicious as my very first visit years ago. For the price, I expect more in all aspects, food as is service. My experience wasn't horrible, but it definitely was not memorable.

The woman taking my order was nice and efficient. They could not serve me the Cilantro salad because they were out of cilantro and the table I was to be seated at was dirty and had to be cleaned. The lettuce on the salad I ordered was brown, shriveled and had spots on them and the pizza I ordered as a replacement item was greasy, had no sauce and zero taste! The crab bisque was good but the side order of fries came out luke warm. I watched helplessly as the people who ordered after me, received their food before me and the entire experience was so disappointing, as I traveled over 50 minutes just to eat at this Nordstrom. Just for reference, I've eaten at the Nordstrom bistro cafe for over 2 decades now and this was by far the worst food experience I've had. Shame on you Nordstrom bistro Aventura Mall! Shame on you!

I'm shocked that I haven't reviewed this place because I eat here so often. Nordstrom Cafe Bistro is my favorite place in Aventura mall besides shake shack. Food here has reasonable prices and always really good. I love the pizza here, it's so if you don't know what to get, crab bisque and pizza is always a good choice. They have amazing desserts as well - try the bread pudding. Yesterday, I got the seasonal stuff which was the roasted squash soup, French onion soup, and seasonal dessert. They burned the caramel a bit but otherwise everything was delicious.

I went today for my birthday dinner , I order a roast beef sandwich and it was very disappointed with the food . It was greasy , so different than what I used to eat there After eating that sandwich I got sick , food poisoning ! So disappointed and sick Not a good experience at all....

Yeap, this is a pretty trendy and discrete little bistro restaurant on the second floor of Nordstrom by the woman's department. What you need to know before you go: you have to order with the cashier before they will seat you. As they explained this is to make service more express, but once you are seated, you can always add to your order. I've been here twice now and I've had good service both times. On my first visit, I tried the Turkey Cranberry Sandwich which was not bad and the fries that came with it were pretty darn good. I also tried a cup of the Bistro Crab Bisque soup - that was delicious! I returned for a second visit just because I could not get that crab bisque out of my head. I ordered a bowl the second time around for a larger quantity of its greatness... It's so good! I had room for dessert so I tried the white chocolate bread pudding and although it was good, it wasn't good enough for me to order it again in the future. Trying it once was enough.

Every time I go to Aventura Mall , I have to come here to grab food. The food is delicious , can't complain. I always ordered the same thing which is roasted chicken & goat cheese panini with side of fries... I like their aoili dipping sauce that comes with it.. it's different but good.

I love the food and id rate 5star is solely based off of that. But today's meal was a shock, they didn't clean my shrimps for the shrimp cilantro salad... gross apart from the guts I uploaded a picture of the shell still not removed. Normally service is good but our server Michael was rude and impatient. I don't know if he is rude or busy but if having someone else on the clock to help him with tables will make the guy nicer this place should do so!

This restaurant inside Nordstrom has consistently been good! They do not have a huge selection, but what they have is quite good.... I had the crab bisque and the Nicoise salad and they were both quite good... the soup is thick and creamy... (diet??) then the salad was good, had a piece of fresh grilled salmon on top that was also quite good... service is also above average... the place is most of the time packed with local people eating there.. It is clean and has good ambiance. All in all it is a place I will continue to come... Enjoy

This restaurant is a hidden spot inside Nordstrom in Aventura Mall. I like to go there because is cozy and not so crowded and everything is delicious! My favorite and highly recommended: the flat iron steak frites! Super yummy! The staff is super nice and friendly!

I used to really enjoy this place but on a recent visit, it left my opinion so skewed that I'll never return for now. The food quality and service has dropped from when I started going to frequently. You'd think that by being a regular they'd give you some acknowledgement and offer at least good service. Not only that...but it seems like they're all so confused to who takes your table and who your server is. Well, you don't even have a server to begin with so who knows who's supposed to take care of you. The whole paying first and then sitting down and someone comes and collects your receipt to see what your ordered is just strange. I'm not saying they need to change this but trust me...there's a reason why none other restaurants run their operation this way.

I will be short: I think it's been one of the best breakfasts / brunches in my whole life! Check the pictures, they speak for themselves The staff is super nice and helpful, they don't stop a minute and make your brunch unforgettable. We are coming back for sure!

What a disappointing experience the last couple of times I have had lunch at Cafe Bistro!! Pre pandemic it was amazing! Food delicious and service was friendly yet professional. I always get the Cilantro Lime Shrimp salad , fries and Ice Tea. I went for lunch yesterday and will not be back! The entire restaurant was dirty! Service slow and food was ok . It is a shame that they ruined a great restaurant!

5/28 called at 4:28 to order a pizza and acoke. I decided to eat in . At 5pm they start to make my pizza. The place was empty. I left without eating!!! Never again..

I can't rave more about how good the food and service here is. The soups are absolutely delicious today I'm having the tomato basilica soup and it's just perfection and their new ceviche is mouth watering. Great staff and manager Kevin.

So I've eaten here before but decided to review based on this visit. I ordered my favorite sandwich, the citrus turkey with cranberry chutney. I added bacon for an extra charge. It was delicious as usual, however the last time there I remember it had a bit more turkey in it. It was fine because I had the side of fries with the really yummy olive aioli. Service was excellent, my server kept refills coming consistently for my Diet Coke. I wish the Boca location had this sandwich on the menu, I would probably go there more often if that was the case. Was offered dessert but I was full, but I enjoyed the chocolate mint with the check. Would come back again.

The staff is amazing!!!! I get the same thing most days I eat lunch here. Grilled cheese and crab bisque soup. Its so good!!! My new favorite dessert is the freshly baked chocolate chip cookie !!!!! It's always soft and big enough to share. But I don't. Lol They have so many options. Great for all ages and parties. I wish they would bring back the delicious mushroom burger. The scenery is cozy and dim which I like to relax mid day. Easy parking on the second level if you do not want to enter the mall. You order and pay before you are seated. Just be sure to leave gratuity before you leave. They appreciate that.

Great hidden Gem in the Aventura mall at Nordstrom's. You must try the crab bisque for sure! The bread pudding will put you into a coma of bliss. Great staff and service. Always clean with a nice ambiance

I used to love this place, but recently have noticed a decline in quality. Today, the food was just OK. I had the bistro club- and the chicken was a little dry, and bread was so hard i almost cut my mouth! The fries the sandwiches come w/ are amazing! Perfectly cooked, and tossed with herbs and spices. My mom had the mushroom pizza which she said was good, but nothing special. The service was friendly, but not fast at all. We waited over 20 minutes, and finally got the food! I think 20 minutes is a little too long to wait if you have to order food at the counter!

I have even met Cafe Bistro before and liked it a little bit better the other times. This time I give it a solid 3 stars because my steak was very, very overcooked. It was so tough. I was actually surprised they would serve it like this. The fries were a little bit soggy. I sent it back and ended up just getting a chicken salad. That was okay, but not really what I was craving at the time. This restaurant is a very busy place because it is inside Nordstrom. I will come back but I will stick with my usual sandwich that I order.

They do not follow the philosophy of the Old School Nordstrom. I have been a client of theirs for over 30 years. They offered unprecedented service in the day. I asked the attendant about leaving a few items off a special they had. Chicken and Waffles Sandwich. I was told they can not alter from the menu or special. The Nordstrom Of Old would have said. Yes sir we can accommodate you. Thank you for choosing us for your meal. Nordstrom needs to bring back the roots of the original philosophy training to their employees.

I absolutely adore this place! There is nothing on the menu I don't enjoy! Amazing servers, wide variety menu but not over saturated, some items change depending on the season and chef. My favorite is the Berry Fig Salad and their fries with kalamata sauce. To. Die. For!! This time around I got the warm Asian chicken salad and margheritte pizza!

Just so happened to be in the mood for soup so I stopped into Nordstoms Cafe Bistro and ordered the crab bisque and a sparkling water while the bf ordered spanish lemon egg drop (I think thats what it was called) and a side of fries with dipping sauce. My crab bisque was EXACTLY what I wanted. In fact, not only did it not disappoint, it exceeded my expectations. Service was super friendly, our server's name was Ryan. He was quick as well. Definitely worth stopping in for a quick bite. Its like Panera where you order and pay at the register but uou get a waiter too.

We came her during lunchtime at the second floor of Nordstrom's. The line was short, placed our order and was quickly seated by the hostess. We ordered the arugula and mushroom pizza and chicken club sandwiches. It took a bit to get our food but I guess because of the pizza. Our friendly waiter brought our drinks and asked if we wanted any wine. Stuck with waters for lunchtime. The pizza was worth the wait. It came right out of the oven to our table. Balanced italian flavor and very crispy. Its a perfect size for an individual serving, not overly filling. The chicken club looked and tasted fresh. Crunchy bacon, avocado, tomato and a healthy serving of chicken in the sandwich with a serving of fries and a yummy serving of olive tapenade dip. I personally dont like the decor in this place. Olive greens and brown and biege seem very dull and almost like hospital environment. But didnt come for the decor, came for the food and service which we both good. It had been a while since I had been to Nordstrom bistro and atleast I know they are consistent with good items.

In the heart of Nordstrom you would assume that Cafe Bistro would present culinary delights that were a notch above the usual offerings. However, ultimately I found that Cafe Bistro really was just in fact another Cafe Bistro. LOL. The name is so plain! We ordered the Gruyere with Proscuitto Grilled Cheese with a cup of the Crab Bisque. Truthfully, the grilled cheese was so smashed that I couldn't even detect much other than the slightly burnt bread and some proscuitto. The gruyere, sadly, went unnoticed in this dish. The crab bisque was very good though. I actually ended up just dipping my sandwich in the bisque. I enjoyed the set up for service in this restaurant. You order and sit down, and then a server brings you your food and drinks. Was not quite as fast for drink service as I would have liked, but our server was charming. I'm not sure if I will ever be back to Cafe Bistro. With the Aventura Mall now offering so many dining options it's probably not rating high enough in my book for a trip back.

This was my first time at this place and I'm so sad that I haven't been going here for all the years that Nordstrom has this bistro in their store. It was one of the best places I've been to in a while. Even though they get really busy, it's not that long of a wait. They are very quick, which is awesome! For appetizers, the bruschetta was amazing. I feel like the portion was a bit small to share with anyone. BUT, you can ask for extra bread so it wasn't a problem at all. For the meal, the flat iron steak frites was really good. I asked for it well done and it was done perfectly! There's also this kalamatta aioli which is the best with the fries and steak! I definitely will go back to this place, I have no complaints!

Been coming here for years, and today we just had the most underwhelming experience at the Aventura Mall location. Service was simply terrible. Our waiter couldn't care less. Or food did not come out in the order it was supposed to. Instead of carefully placing the plates on the table our server almost dropped them. We did not have enough napkins or even utensils. He even ran by saying "how's everything?" But by the time the sentence was finished he was already 10 feet away. I did not mind the continuous shrinking of the portions throughout the years, I was even willing to ignore the fact that they even cut on the amount of crostinis you get with the crab bisque, but it's too much when it's all combined. Will not be coming back here.

I finally got the chance to stop by for lunch with a friend after a shopping session. I'd heard all of the great praises for their food, but had never actually gotten around to trying it out until last week. There was a good amount of people in the bistro on a weekday afternoon, nothing too crazy though. We grabbed the menus located in the front and lingered there, indecisive, for a few minutes. There was quite the plethora of enticing options staring back at us. I ended up ordering the cilantro lime shrimp salad and the bistro fries. My friend's choices were the french onion soup and the margherita pizza. We were promptly seated and our drink choices were taken down. Not too long after, our food started arriving. The french onion soup was delicious, not overly salty and generously topped with croutons and cheese. The fries were crispy and skinny (much to my delight) and the kalamata olive aioli complemented them perfectly. The cilantro lime shrimp salad was my favorite item of the afternoon, with a heavenly dressing, crispy tortilla strips, and flavorful shrimp. The margherita pizza had a tasty crust and the perfect balance of cheese,tomato, and basil. We were stuffed by the end of the meal, taking two slices of pizza to-go. I was sad we didn't have room for dessert, I'll be sure to try the bread pudding on another visit though! This is a great place to grab lunch with some company after shopping! The food is delicious, the service is relatively quick, and the staff is very nice. My only quibble about this bistro is that the prices are a tad bit steeper than what I'm used to paying for lunch, so I'll only stop by from time to time. However, the food is absolutely worth the money!

I have been here several different times for a variety of occasions. From just a coffee, breakfast, business lunch, dinner with the gals, to family affairs, this restaurant will suit each occasion. The service at the front of the cafe is always pleasant but I have had a few shabby servers. Even the worst server was compensated by pleasant team work from one of their co-workers. The pizzas are good, just make sure they do not over cook them. The desserts are to die for, especially the white chocolate bread pudding! The crab bisque is good as well and if you're just feeling like a snack they have a wonderful item on the kid's menu with whole wheat crackers, a variety of cheeses, grapes, and strawberries. I really enjoyed the Adobe White Wine, which I happened to have for the first time at Cafe Bistro.

Amazing food and desserts! You will never leave disappointed from this place. A little busy sometimes but worth the wait. Enjoy!

I came here while visiting Florida over the weekend and started searching for restaurants to try I didn't know this particular one was located in the mall. I initially came here to try the ribeye sandwich and of course they ran out it was their most popular dish. The food is over priced well it's Nordstrom after all. I ordered the French onion soup (heard it's amazing) but wouldn't get it again. The best part is the cheese!!! Also I got the crab Mac and cheese it wasn't cheesy to me and it didn't have much flavor and had limited amount of shredded crab in it. But the best part about my visit was the white chocolate bread pudding (and I don't even like bread pudding) but it was so refreshing and It was the bomb. If they have this restaurant in all Nordstrom's I will try them again.

I have been a big fan of the Bistro for a while. Their fries are absolutely amazing! The Bistro has a limited menu but everything on it is worth a try, I have never been disappointed. My usual meal is the Warm Asian Chicken Salad and a side of their fries because I can't pass those up. My second go to meal is the prosciutto sammich. I always want to have a dessert but I never leave room because I can't stop myself from eating my entire entree. The service is always fast and friendly and I like how efficient it is to order first and then sit but sometimes I wonder if people know they have to tip cash only or ahead of time. I keep coming back to this place, especially for pick up on my way home. However, the parking situation for pick-up sucks! I am kinda hoping they will eventually designate at least 2 pick-up spots at the front so that I don't have to wander around Aventura Mall for a spot and STILL park half a mile away. The other not fun part is that the bathrooms are not in the restaurant, they're inside Nordstrom and although its not a huge inconvenience both times I had to go the bathroom, the ones on the same floor as the Bistro were closed and I had to go downstairs. Which was just time consuming and annoying, especially since I was eating alone. I definitely think this is one of the better options at the mall (currently). Much more affordable than some of the bigger chain restaurants, much faster, clean and tidy, and better tasting.

Great spot for lunch. There always seems to be a line, but that's only because you have to order before you're seated. Service is ok, nothing great about it, and it's not terrible. Food comes out at a good pace. It's never super quick, but they don't have ridiculous waits either. Food-wise, I was pretty surprised as I was expecting something similar to Panera and this was much better. Fresh ingredients are key. * Sweet Potato & Jalapeño as well as Crab Bisque are good. * Hummus appetizer is also spot on. * Pizza Margherita was surprisingly good as well. * Roasted Salmon & Herbed Mushroom Risotto is great. Salmon was cooked perfectly, and I loved that you could taste the lemon in the risotto. Definitely will be going back for more.

This is just my go to place. I can't get enough of it. Food is amazing service is always on point And the quality of what is served always a 10/10. Even though I love the cilantro lime shrimp salad and that's my go to, the people that I go with to the cafe bistro always get something different; this last time my boss got the salmon with the risotto and it was absolutely amazing, as always the crab bisque is absolutely delicious even though I don't like spicy food I enjoyed the little kick that it has and let me tell you they know how to do it regarding the the tomato basil soup! It was perfect for the cold that my boss had LOL. I can't ever go and not have the white chocolate bread pudding. I'm telling you since 2012 this has been my favorite dessert ever! I can't wait to come back!

The Cafe Bistro is a smaller restaurant (probably 50 guests) Cafe tucked tight inside of Nordstrom. The menu is small, but I think it's perfect for what the place is. I work in the mall so I find myself here frequently. The prices reflect the store that it's located in, too expensive for what it is. This is an issue with anything in the mall so it's easy to look over it. This is not a place to go if you are on a time constraint. There service is great in all other aspects but the kitchen is just extremely slow. I recently ordered ahead a sandwich to-go that I was told would be ready in 20 minutes. I did not get my sandwich until 40 minutes after I placed the order. The turkey sandwich is one of my favorites and it's perfect for anytime of the year. The absolute best part of the Cafe is the Kalama olive aioli that comes with any order of fries. Plan on asking for an extra serving.

My husband and I visited the bistro last night. We both had the chicken and goat cheese panini which is usually served with their amazing truffle fries, but they were out so we got the roasted potatoes instead, which in my opinion weren't that great. For dessert of course we had the most delicious bread pudding i have ever had, maybe because i have a weakness for white chocolate idk...I wasn't feeling good so we decided to take it to go. Our server Ashley was very kind.

Consistently good. I've been to several Nordstrom Bistros and they regularly deliver a delicious meal from their menu of salads, sandwiches and misc meals. The menu varies by location but they are usually good. The Aventura location is no different. They don't have table wait-service but take your order on entry. We all had salads and they were fresh and made exactly as ordered. The server was attentive and prompt with any and all requests. If you are in the mall and want something better than the hum-drum food court, find a Nordstrom and see if they have a restaurant, you won't be disappointed. Shopping and food... what more could a girl ask for!
