"This long-running Ktown spot often feels like an underground lounge, but on game day, it becomes a proper sports bar. The projector gets wheeled out, and win or lose, everyone’s ordering the kimchi pasta." - kat hong, james montgomery

I absolutely love this bar! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a night out with friends or just to relax after a long day. The drinks are always top-notch—great selection and perfectly mixed every time. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Special shout-out to Cindy, who always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience!

Pablo Ortiz

Google
Excellent service! The staff know what they're doing and prepare wonderful cocktails. The dumplings are delicious and made in-house and the garlic fries are fantastic. The space is carefully curated to promote openness when you want it and tight-knit socialization when you don't.

Google
Honestly I've never tried the food, but it looks good. The place is really stylish, it has an upscale but casual vibe. They play K-pop music videos on big screens there which is pretty interesting, but not the music itself. Instead the music is about what you would expect at a stylish bar like this; it's a decent rotation though. Their drinks are fantastic! Cindy is meticulous with the drinks, but she's also cheery and pretty funny. The rest of the staff are attentive and friendly too, I always feel welcome there. Highly recommend this place. If you have visitors from out of town, Korean bbq plus this place afterwards is a great combo.

Google
Bleu is probably my favorite watering-hole while in Koreatown. Even though I only go every few months to LA the bartender Cindy still remembers my drink order and sets it down before I even ask. It's a vibe, and you just gotta experience it in person.

Kevin Adler

Google
This bar is tons of fun! Great vibes, cozy seating, and the staff are all great. Cindy is my favorite bartender! Thanks for introducing me to Soju!

Eric Almeras

Google
Cindy is the best bartender I know. The way she mixes soda water with Tequila is unparalleled. Her bubbly personality and beautiful hair make Bleu my favorite place.

Google
I always have a great time at Cafe Bleu, it's definitely a hidden gem of Koreatown due to its chill atmosphere, actively social and attentive bartenders, and full drinks. The food took me by surprise by how delicious it was! I love to hang out here when it's quiet during the slower hours, but hope to stop by when there are events in the future.

Larry Kim

Google
The best bar in Ktown period. Has the most wide selection of Whiskey and Tequila in all of LA. Service is excellent and Q is one bartender you can count on when it comes to service and suggestions. Come by and check it out!!

Yelp
I have been supporting this iconic sports bar in the heart of Koreatown for so long... through so many "generations" of bartenders... but lets get this out there. Little sister "Q" always lights everyone up with her genuine smile when you walk in. She's always paying attention and making sure the entire bar is taken care of. You never feel like shes just talking to you to bulk up her tips... genuine personality. Super hot spot for holidays and sports nights... also they recently revamped their kitchen menu with so many more delicious options... and remember they have happy hour on food, drinks and bottles until 8pm! Im not going anywhere. Bleu is one of my anchors that keep me coming back to Koreatown!

Yelp
the epitome of ethereal IYKYK vibes in ktown, if not all of LA. always a good hang, but when Q's there, the music, drinks, and energy just hit different. you know when people reminisce about "the good ol' days"? it's happening rn. at Bleu.

Yelp
Cafe Bleu is a Koreatown staple. If you know, you know. Tucked in the corner of Alexandria Plaza, it's one of those spots that doesn't need to shout for attention. Regulars keep the energy balanced while newcomers find themselves quickly absorbed into the flow. The lighting is low, the vibe is consistent, and the music depends on who's behind the bar--special nod to the hip hop playlists when they're on. Bartenders here are friendly, each with their own style. Shoutout to Hailey in particular--she runs the bar with ease and pours one of the best old fashioneds in Ktown. Food holds its own, and the happy hour is solid. Whether you're pre-gaming, catching up with friends, or ending your night with a nightcap, Bleu covers the bases. People-watching from the bar is half the fun, the other half is the conversation you'll end up having with whoever sits next to you. Simple, reliable, and always fun coming back to.

Yelp
One of my favorite late night spots! Q is always very attentive and patient whether it's busy or slow. I'm always looking to eat whenever I'm out with friends and she recommended the steak quesadilla. I've been getting it ever since!

Yelp
Cafe Bleu has been around for ages, but I only went for the first time a few weeks ago, several hours into a boozy Koreatown night. I showed up with a small group after an event in the neighborhood, and ended up standing outside at two in the morning while everyone else smoked. Strip mall drunkies and cigarettes, boy did that take me back. The bar was pleasant and comfortable, pretty quiet on a Thursday night but nowhere near dead. It had a moody, loungey atmosphere, and felt like a great place to be a drunk Korean. I sat at the bar and caught up with an old friend over yogurt soju. Service was great, friendly and fast, and that yogurt soju hit. I don't know when I'd go back to Cafe Bleu, but I was heartened by this visit. I remember being young and drinking soju in KTown strip malls. I'm glad this is something we're still doing.

Jim B.

Yelp
Chill spot, real local vibes. The kind of place you can actually relax at without all the extra noise. Drinks hit the spot and the atmosphere makes you want to stick around. Q behind the bar is awesome -- super friendly, easy to talk to, and just has a great energy that makes the night better. Service is always on point, and she makes you feel welcome every time. Definitely one of those spots you end up coming back to.

Yelp
Had a great time at Bleu. The service was exceptional. Our bartender Q was very prompt and kind on providing assistance with our order.

Yelp
Chill spot to hang out for good drinks and fun vibes. S/O to Cindy for making yummy cocktails and having great service

Yelp

Yelp
I have been going here time to time. Their wings are reallg tasty and the ambiance incorporates o.g. korean American and the heart of ktown crowds. Everyone who works here are really helpful and recently been enjoying time with Cindy entertaining and taking care of customers. If you are around and need a place to chill and pregame this is the spot. Oh and they often hold events like stand ups.
google avatar

Daniel R.

Yelp
I love me my tequila and I wouldn't want anyone else pouring me my shots other than Q the beautiful bartender who makes the night that much sweeter. Make sure you ask for her when you come visit!

Steven E.

Yelp
Cafe Bleu is a Ktown staple! Food and drinks are great! Check out their happy hour! The bartenders are amazing shoutout to Cindy!

Yelp
I just moved to the Koreatown area and I found my new favorite bar! I started going in just to watch UFC, but now I'm there a few times a week to grab dinner, or just drink with my friends. There's this super cute bartender Q who easily makes one of the best Manhattans in town. She even convinced me to do their Apollo challenge - now my picture is on the wall! It always feels good when someone makes you try new things. Super happy to have found my new home bar, I'll keep going back to see my favorite bartender and try new whiskeys thanks Q and thanks Bleu!

Kris L.

Yelp
My favorite bar in ktown Great food, great drinks, bartender mj was so kind and welcoming Definitely will bring some friends next time

Snoopy B.

Yelp
The premier Ktown bar in Ktown! Stocked with just about anything. Korean and American food available made to order. Great wings and several kinds of pasta. I love the kimchee pasta. Bartenders here take care of you and the atmosphere is casual. They also have 6 screens showing all kinds of sports. Ask for Q the bartender. She is sweet and she will serve you whatever you ask with charm and dedicated service. Cafe Bleu in Ktown. (Not to be confused with Bleu on Sawtelle!)
google avatar

Billy K.

Yelp
UFC, 80's and 90's K-pop, buffalo wings, and Sochelada (soju x michelada). Everything I want in once place.
google avatar

Joe P.

Yelp
I've come to cafe bleu for many reasons but it's the friendly staff, managers, and bartenders that make this place the best bar in ktown. Especially on a busy Saturday they have the best bartenders. Make sure you tip your bartender because they work hard. Also another reason they deserve a 5 star is that they have great food options that go well with your drink. Make sure you order the nachos, chicken wings, the tri trip sandwich, and carne asada tacos.
google avatar

Yelp
Legendary spot, if you know you know. Soon as you walk inside, you understand why it's called Cafe Bleu. Service is immaculate food & drinks.... obviously sensational & most importantly... they play the best music . Always some 90s hip hop / R&B or some joint that remind me of the trenches or my first gf in 6th grade. anyways I love this place . Highly recommended
google avatar

Rick L.

Yelp
Hands down best wings in LA. The kimchi pasta will change your life. The BLT is the perfect sandwich snack with the crispiest lettuce crunch dribbling with decedent bacon. Bleu is Koreatown's favorite hang out spot with strong drinks and incredible food. Let em know BAP ROSS sent you. Btw.... DONT, SLEEP. ON. THE. SKEWERS.

Yelp
I've been to Cafe Bleu like ten times (most recently on a bad date over the weekend lol) and I came a few times during the 00s on trips to LA from Chi. It's been open so long Dumbfoundead had an album after the kbar. The vibe has always been pretty chill and the crowd skews a little older. I'm a little older so I like that, lol. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Cheers to beers and happy hour. Beer is a couple dollars off during happy hour plus they have some food deals. Also, they revamped their food menu and it's pretty dope now with a lot of options. It gets packed during Dodgers games~fun atmosphere.

Eunjoo L.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and music - perfect for stopping by for a drink every now and then. They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from, which makes it even better. Bartender MJ makes this place extra special with her friendly and professional vibe, and she always makes you feel welcome.

Gage B.

Yelp
Great staff and plenty of seating options. I've had nothing but good experiences here.

Yelp
I'd you're looking for a slight departure from typical Koreatown bars, Cafe Bleu is a great spot. They have a super chill environment with a full bar, and from the bartenders (shoutout to Q, Beena, Cindy) to the crowd, the people are incredibly cool. Also, a solid spot to bring business too!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun happy hour. But also came after happy hour. Service was great. Really good recommendation on drinks. Fun vibe. Allan or Allen was very nice and made great drinks recommendations.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot for drinks and food. Good music and vibes. We always go here and they're accommodating to any group, small or large

Yelp
Amazing spot! Great service and great vibes. Food never disappoints. I have been here multiple times and always enjoyed.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite bar in ktown, bartenders are always nice and attentive, food is criminally slept on (wings + nachos + blt)
google avatar

Peter K.

Yelp
Most people know Bleu as just a drinking spot but their food is top notch especially their wings (buffalo and soy garlic), fries, BLT, toast sandwich, and kimchi pasta.. and this is only a quarter of their menu. Also best customer service and vibes are immaculate!
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Cafe bleu is my fav bar in ktown. dumbfoundead made a whole ass EP about it. the food is excellent and the menu is extensive(blt is a must) bartenders always on point and couches are comfy/cozy
google avatar

Esenia J.

Yelp
I usually go here for happy hour. Their drinks are pretty good. The owner and bartenders are really chill. When we go around 5/6pm it is usually empty but later at night it gets packed. They also play dodger games here.
google avatar

Ben W.

Yelp
Just needed an old fashion made with Makers Mark and WOW, it's horrible....but the bartender said she not good at making them.

Carl L.

Yelp
I had the BEST time here!! Met some friends for a drink and the servers were amazing, and the crowd was so chill! The food is bomb and so are the drinks! Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Ronald R.

Yelp
Reliable Ktown standard: good food and the friendliest, fun staff in the neighborhood. Relaxed and chill ambiance. Go!
google avatar

Juan Carlos H.

Yelp
A nice bar that I've seen for years but never went into until recently. I wish I had gone inside way sooner. It's a pretty chill and fun spot. The service is friendly and helpful. You get a choice of sitting at the bar or a table. We usually go for the table but I imagine the bar is nice too! (I'm just shy-super shy...yes I'm poorly singing that song). I've only ordered the carne asada nachos, but let's say it's I've ordered it almost every time I've been there. So you can't go wrong with that. It can get a little loud and dark but hey that's the cool and mysterious environment they're going for. It's located in one of the best plazas in k town. Like every restaurant there is amazing. Parking is valet at night but not too expensive. There is some metered street parking but that can be a challenge. Overall, it's a great spot to relax and grab some drinks.

Tony K.

Yelp
Wow. I thought this place was just for drinks but damn they have some good food too. Menu had a decent selection too but I went with the BLT and the wings. Let me tell you its probably one of the best BLTs and wings Ive ever had in LA. Like no joke. You have to try it.
google avatar

Yelp
First of all plz excuse my repeated reviews...I freakin don't know how to delete the duplicates!Anyhow, this is my new updated review so let's try to enjoy guys, gals, and pronouns fools~ I've been coming here since I was a cocoon.Man oh man,let me tell you the place has been renovated to the most magical place I've seen... The sofas are new and blue like Blue's clues the dog if y'all know what I mean...maybe I'm color blind but it's hella nice now.All of the bar tenders are beautiful here especially Peter the Great and Hailey the berserker(wink) and lastly Q the most magical being I've ever laid my virgin eyes on.When she comes up to me and ask me what I would like to drink,I just freeze like as if Medusa stared at me and I turned into a Roman statue...Enough said and the food menu has been updated and now there's more delicious bar food now which will please our fat cells...I'm soo happy and I died many years ago. Thus, people!!! Come to Bleu and drown your money and happiness here!!!!! Ooooh yeah~Bite into a slim Jim.

G Two H.

Yelp
KTOWN staple. great food, great bartenders, great ambience for whatever vibe ur looking for.

Kelly E.

Yelp
Q and Mina are the best!! easily the best sports bar in koreatown. $99 bottles during happy hour!!
google avatar

Yelp
Cafe Bleu is my favorite bar in KTown (and that's not just because I live in walking distance). I was worried that the place had closed down because they were closed Memorial Day weekend. Seems like they were closed for renovations but not gone! Thank god. The place generally has chill vibes. Not to say you won't get some good loud music, but it's a place to sit and enjoy some drinks and chill. It is rarely ever crowded, which is my favorite. I've never had trouble getting a seat. Despite being in a very crowded and popular area, the entrance tends blend into the space, which I love. It makes the place feel like a hidden gem despite it not being hidden at all. Every time I take friends, they're surprised the place exists. "I've been to this area countless times and never noticed it there." Everyone should go to Cafe Bleu - but not all at once. I still want an easy seat.

Stephen G.

Yelp
It's a nice bar with its own type of atmosphere. For anyone that becomes a local or visits Ktown often this is what I would consider a staple.
google avatar

Mindy P.

Yelp
Finding the entrance was a bit confusing and could be considered a speakeasy if you weren't trying to look for the bar. The front door doesn't look like a restaurant at all which is cool when you realize what it is. I came on a Friday night around 10:30-11pm, and was seated right then and there. You could tell it was the bar you go to after you hit all the other bars and finish off the night because it was pretty empty. Later on more people started coming in, so I would recommend coming around 12 and after. The tables are mostly sofas and meant to be comfortable for larger parties. They were playing 90's rap & the vibe was cool. The staff was very chill, almost too relaxed considering they forgot to bring us a dish and a waitress was hitting a vape in the corner nonetheless still nice and friendly. We ordered the pineapple soju cocktail which was perfect for 2 people. I think the peach cocktail would've been better tho! Then we got the Bleu chicken wings which are a must have, and I'd rank the kimchi fried rice last. The total was under $60, not the best but not the worst either. I'd come back for the atmosphere, the cocktails, and wings with a bigger party later at night.
google avatar

Shy T.

Yelp
Place was not it. Bottom line. Save your money, save your hair and clothing from smelling like cigarette smoke. I'll never come back. Food was .
google avatar

Ray K.

Yelp
Bafe Bleu should be a protected landmark. Back during the prohibition this was the first Asian speakeasy that served bootleg rice wine and dried sea rat and squid. It was. It is. And will be here for the neighborhood, all the long time regulars and the new faces that walk in on their way to becoming regulars. Cheers Ray! Thanks again

Tony Y.

Yelp
Good place, been going there since 1991. Great vibe! Cons: The management told me not to come back. It was my fault I thought this dude was Chris Davis from last night. This is what two hours of sleep will do with heavy drinking during dinner / bar at other establishments the work I do taking care of my mom w dementia and daughter had me compromised w stress. The management never ask me what happened he only believes the other party. I've only talk to the guy did not swear or acted inappropriate ly. Well wrong Chris Davis looks just like him with same build and long beard. The guy left swearing at me for some reason wanting me to pay for his bill and I said no just wanted to sit on the sofa as I was extremely tired. I thank the Lord and the manager as I need to quit drinking and smoking. Thanks Will for baring me at bleu. You will never see me going to this establishment again. Its been a great 33 years at Cafe bleu. Your action with unfairness gave me strength and courage to quit bad habits. I need to focus more on my family and be the man as God has intended us to be and follow his word in lieu of reality that we humans had made. God's creation is Good we are the *uck ups. Again Thanks Will for kicking me out of the establishment. Too much Testosterone atmosphere anywaze. I'm done and I feel good in lieu of being angry or dismay. James the owner always greeted me with mutual respect. No more drinking for me. Again Thanks bleu!

Yelp
Wow, they finally went out of business. This place been around since I moved to LA 20 years ago

Yelp
My favorite place in Ktown, LA. My second home. Its the "Cheers" Bar of Ktown! Extensive selection, GOOD FOOD (The Tacos and Burgers), chill loungey vibe, tons of screens to watch sports, friendly bartenders, shout out to Pedro and the staff, and great people! I've always had the best time at Bleu.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute bar with food options in ktown. I've been outside of it half a dozen times while waiting in line for sun nong dan. Parking is terrible but you already knew that. This is a sports bar with a lot of plush booths set up, a complete 180 from what I was expecting (a loud nightclub with servers ignoring everyone... it's actually really low key in here)-- we were seated straight away at a big booth and were helped by multiple people during our short visit. Prices for typical cocktails weren't listed on the menu, but a Moscow mule was $12 plus a $2 surcharge for substituting the well vodka (waitress informed us of the extra cost) and it was delicious. The "small" soju cocktail drink was ~16 or so dollars and was also pretty big, way more than I expected and could serve 2 (or 3 light drinkers). The fries smelled so good but unfortunately we passed on getting food this time, but looking forward to trying at a later date.
