Café Bohème

Café Bohème is an incredibly fancy, up-to-date venue with a really high-quality feel throughout. The space is stylish without being pretentious, and everything from the décor to the lighting creates a warm, cosy atmosphere that makes it a pleasure to sit and enjoy the meal. The food was excellent quality, clearly well thought out and beautifully prepared. There’s a wide range of options on the menu — including some very high-priced items if you’re looking to treat yourself — but it’s also great that they offer a more affordable set menu, which makes the place accessible without compromising on quality. It’s the kind of restaurant that feels special but still comfortable, whether you’re there for a relaxed meal or a more refined dining experience. Overall, a fantastic balance of quality, atmosphere, and choice, and somewhere I’d happily return to.

First time trying this little gem, tucked down a quiet side street. French cuisine, done very well. Staff very friendly, and attentive , but not overpowering, suited me perfect. Food was delicious and well presented. Will be back, highly recommend 👍

I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The small dining space situated around a beautiful bar was cozy with a fireplace and neatly tucked tables. The service was friendly and professional and the food was simply fantastic.

Amazing place for fine dining French cuisine, perfect for fancy dates or company outings, they don’t have the canard duck nor the mussels dishes anymore, I tried onion soup was good, pigeon salad was different not my favorite, and perfect steak plate in town so delicious, but still the restaurant is too expensive

Had absolutely fabulous dinner here recently! It is not my first visit and certainly will not be my last. Café Boehme is the place where you order three courses, as the portions are not big and you can try more different dishes. Four of us ordered different starters and all were delicious and beautifully presented. Beautiful duck for the main course (you are in a French restaurant after all!). Very light crisp French champagne did not give me a headache and was very pleasant and not overpowering. The desserts offered a rich taste with a touch of sophistication. A delightful treat for the taste buds! The staff were very attentive and professional.

This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. walked in just at lunch time opening and it was easy to get a table. Had the set menu lunch and every single item was magnifique. French cuisine that is well executed and will definitely be back again.

Cafe Bohem never disappoints. We've been dining here for over 10 years and will continue for many more years to come. The staff are amazing, they certainly get to know their regulars and make every effort to make your dining experience top notch. Every guest is treated this way, but personal touches for regulars keep us coming back. Whatever magic Chef is conjuring up in the kitchen... please don't stop!!

Last night we had dinner at Cafe Boheme and it was incredible!!! The staff were lovely, food amazing and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere in general. We ordered a bottle of Malbec with some bread to start and chose the pork belly and the poussin for our mains. The food was so well prepared and well balanced, we didn't want to share a bite of either of our plates! To finish, we picked the crème brûlée and the orange pistachio polenta cake which were a perfect finish to a perfect meal. The food was very reasonably priced too, so allround a new favourite!

We have been going to Cafe Boheme for years. This was the first time, though, after ownership changed. We were thoroughly impressed, though. The atmosphere is as good as it was, the service friendly and professional. The menu is lovely. The big change from the past is where before the focus was primarily on the fish specials, now the emphasis is on the standard menu. One bisque and one salman salad, one pork and one ox cheek and two cafe gourmand later we were very happy. Very much worth coming back to.

Absolutely love it here. It's a beautiful little place and the lunch menu is absolutely fantastic value. I went for the French onion soup to start and then a main of the Toulouse sausage and it was brilliant. My girlfriend had the duck and after trying it I wish I had room for both. Cannot fault anything about this place. Food, service and atmosphere are all great. £45 for a two course lunch for two with a bottle of wine - what more could you ask for?

Cafe Boheme is probably the best French restaurant I have experienced outside France. The variety of dishes on the menu is surpassed only by the quality of the food, there is an extensive wine list and plenty of assistance from the owner and staff to help you decide the best combination with your chosen dish. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is always a warm welcome even on the coldest Aberdeen night. Service is relaxed and unhurried so if you want a quick bite then probably best to go somewhere else, but for that special occassion or just a very enjoyable and quality meal I would recommend Cafe Boheme to anyone. It is not the cheapest of places but you certainly get what you pay for the food is excellent and portions are good. I have been 4 or 5 times now and each time has been a real joy, can't wait to go again. Bob Poulton le Fylde

after a weekend in aberdeen, we found cafe boheme. Have to say i had one of the best food experiences in my life. I walked out feeling contented after a lovely mussel meal. Cant understand why it has bad revievs on here. Would love to get back there. The service was very friendly, and the decor was cosy and romantic. sensationnel. Merci beaucoup

This is an absolutely fantastic restaurant. I am from the USA and have been here 6 times in the last two years. Can't help but to come back while in Aberdeen. The staff is courteous and very helpful and the food is wonderful.

I loved this place, it's like a real slice of Paris in Aberdeen. They serve melt-in-the-mouth veal and even serve escargots! Meals are very well presented (quite posh actually) but the atmosphere is laid back. A small, cosy, romantic setting. I would go back again any day! Meal was not extremely cheap but what else would you expect from a proper a la carte restaurant.
