"Tucked away in a city centre side street is a restaurant run by a friendly team with a genuine desire to please. Given the name and the look of the place, you might have expected to find all the time-honoured French bistro classics, but the cooking takes a more creative and contemporary approach. If you want the full experience, go for the tasting menu; they also offer a separate vegan menu." - Michelin Inspector

We absolutely loved Café Bohème. Flavours of all of what we'd ordered (and their cookery) was absolutely superb. The entire evening was pretty faultless actually. Prices are pretty punchy and portions not huge but we certainly didn't leave feeling hungry. Service (and the time between courses) was extremely consistent, the waiting staff well trained, knowledgeable and they really cared. For an "occasion" it's probably the perfect venue.

This is a cosy wee gem in Aberdeen. Food was so rich and tasty, and really well presented. Service was brilliant and the restaurant has such a warm relaxing atmosphere. There are nice mocktails for non drinkers as well and plenty of variety on the menu.

A bit hit and miss - wonderful terrine unbalanced by aesthetic mayonnaise and pink ginger, lack of veg with the (supplement) venison, fantastic cherry but stodgy chocolate.

Regular customers at Cafe Boheme and it’s one of Aberdeen's best restaurants - no question. Enjoyed another lunch today which was perfectly executed. Staff very attentive and friendly. Your money is well spent here.

Definitely overpriced. Pretend to be fine dining, good presentation, good decoration of the restaurant, but the understanding of cooking is apparently limited. £4.5 for the bread and whipped butter, tiny portion for the entree with however average taste. Expensive main course. Would definitely avoid coming again.

The service was very lovely and the atmosphere was quite nice although quite loud, but it's small so to be expected. Unfortunately food was just not for us as it wasn't worth the price in our opinion as we were hoping to have a nice dinner. Soup wasn't too bad though. We think there are quite a few better places to go for a nice dinner out.

Taken for a birthday meal and had a delightful time. The food is delicious, I had bisque, venison and finally the creme brulee paired with a fabulous gingerbread cocktail.

Ate here today for lunch 27th February, Aberdeen restaurant week. Great value £30 for 2 courses. Delicious food, I had the vegan/vegetarian option , friend had trout & Beef. Perfect size portion for lunch. My favourite restaurant in Aberdeen.

Yelp
Last night we had dinner at Cafe Boheme and it was incredible!!! The staff were lovely, food amazing and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere in general. We ordered a bottle of Malbec with some bread to start and chose the pork belly and the poussin for our mains. The food was so well prepared and well balanced, we didn't want to share a bite of either of our plates! To finish, we picked the crème brûlée and the orange pistachio polenta cake which were a perfect finish to a perfect meal. The food was very reasonably priced too, so allround a new favourite!

Yelp
Fabulous food and attentive service. Great ambiance and good wine list. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We have been going to Cafe Boheme for years. This was the first time, though, after ownership changed. We were thoroughly impressed, though. The atmosphere is as good as it was, the service friendly and professional. The menu is lovely. The big change from the past is where before the focus was primarily on the fish specials, now the emphasis is on the standard menu. One bisque and one salman salad, one pork and one ox cheek and two cafe gourmand later we were very happy. Very much worth coming back to.

Yelp
Absolutely love it here. It's a beautiful little place and the lunch menu is absolutely fantastic value. I went for the French onion soup to start and then a main of the Toulouse sausage and it was brilliant. My girlfriend had the duck and after trying it I wish I had room for both. Cannot fault anything about this place. Food, service and atmosphere are all great. £45 for a two course lunch for two with a bottle of wine - what more could you ask for?

Yelp
Cafe Boheme is probably the best French restaurant I have experienced outside France. The variety of dishes on the menu is surpassed only by the quality of the food, there is an extensive wine list and plenty of assistance from the owner and staff to help you decide the best combination with your chosen dish. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is always a warm welcome even on the coldest Aberdeen night. Service is relaxed and unhurried so if you want a quick bite then probably best to go somewhere else, but for that special occassion or just a very enjoyable and quality meal I would recommend Cafe Boheme to anyone. It is not the cheapest of places but you certainly get what you pay for the food is excellent and portions are good. I have been 4 or 5 times now and each time has been a real joy, can't wait to go again. Bob Poulton le Fylde

Yelp
after a weekend in aberdeen, we found cafe boheme. Have to say i had one of the best food experiences in my life. I walked out feeling contented after a lovely mussel meal. Cant understand why it has bad revievs on here. Would love to get back there. The service was very friendly, and the decor was cosy and romantic. sensationnel. Merci beaucoup

Yelp
This is an absolutely fantastic restaurant. I am from the USA and have been here 6 times in the last two years. Can't help but to come back while in Aberdeen. The staff is courteous and very helpful and the food is wonderful.

Yelp
I loved this place, it's like a real slice of Paris in Aberdeen. They serve melt-in-the-mouth veal and even serve escargots! Meals are very well presented (quite posh actually) but the atmosphere is laid back. A small, cosy, romantic setting. I would go back again any day! Meal was not extremely cheap but what else would you expect from a proper a la carte restaurant.
