Montreal Has a New Pastry Shop for Kouign Amann — And More September Restaurant Openings | Eater Montreal

"Just over a year after opening Entre-Deux, the owners launched Café Bravo as an unfussy coffee shop offering the caffeinated standards and a pared-down sandwich menu; located on the premises of Bravo Musique (formerly Dare to Care Records) run by musician Coeur de Pirate (Béatrice Martin), customers can also grab a vinyl or some merch while they’re there." - Valerie Silva

Nice cafe/music vibe shop??? Not exactly sure what the concept is but its a nice vibe here and the coffee is good. They make their own pumpkin spice syrup with real pumpkin that tastes just like a pumpkin pie. They sell beer, wine shirts, and other things here as well. Staff is really patient and nice. Wifi and tables to work as well. Some chairs outside too.

We visited the very charming @cafebravomtl for a quick afternoon coffee break and entered into a sense of nostalgia. We loved the pleasing, orangey, 70's-like aesthetic and colours complimented by the sale of vinyl records and cassettes from the artists signed to the label of the same name. So, if you like them (we do), this might be a place you'd like. As for the coffee we had; we are not coffee snobs. We enjoyed it but we regret not trying a cookie or muffin 😅. We also noticed a pretty attractive food menu with some hefty sounding sandwiches we may just have to return to try (and maybe some pickled eggs just because). Finally, The person who served was particularly friendly and helpful, and answered all our silly questions with a bright smile that made us wish more similar establishments had people like that.

I come here for coffee to go, but always notice the people sitting, working away on their laptops or chit-chatting. Love their chai lattes, so delicious! Great ambiance and they rearranged the tables and added more seats now.

Designed with love, amazing coffee and really nice staff. Get yourself a bag of beans on the way out.

Very cozy and calm coffee shop! The coffee was okay, maybe too light for my taste. However, the sandwich was good; I loved how fresh it tasted!

One of the few cafes on Saint Laurent that allow laptops lol. I walked for 15 mins and so many places were not allowing laptops .... Do they not want creatives and writers to be customers? I don't get it. So happy I finally found Cafe Bravo. Good coffee, music and vibes. Nice and bright with big windows. I like the unique matcha drinks like lemonade with soda water. Would love some gluten free snack options but just happy I can come here and write .

Came here for the first time yesterday on a whim and I gotta say the aesthetics of the place is just so nice! Also I got the matcha latte with pumpkin spice (seasonal special) and it was so good that I had to leave a review. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

Yelp
I just stopped to coffee while i was waiting for my wife. Coffe is ok without being extraordinary. Mood there is good, there was some students working on their laptops. This café has a record label that specializes in french folk, so they sells records and cds by the artists there. Cool vibe !

Yelp
Had their normal coffee and it was stale, sour, and just overall, not very good. They were blaring some quite annoying music on their speakers very loud, some terrible house/dance music--and it wasn't a very friendly/relaxing atmosphere. For a "music cafe" they didn't have very good music taste or even decent coffee. I wouldn't recommend coming here for food either--most of their menu items are very expensive. I tried a breakfast sandwich here and it was very oily and greasy--way too overpriced. The staff is friendly but I'm very disgusted by the quality of the coffee and food, also annoyed by the ambience so I don't recommend it at all! Avoid at all costs!

Yelp
Come here in the morning & enjoy a nice little breakfast with some music from artists at Bravo Musique. Super cute place to study & meet local artists signed with Bravo Musique when they're here. Also you can buy merch!

Yelp
Delicious mocha, comfortable seats, lovely music. Great place to tune into WiFi, read, and write.
