Cafe Chai Coffee | Best Bar and Restaurant in Goa

Came across this place near the airport and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise 🌿 The café is surrounded by greenery and has a very calm, rustic vibe — perfect if you want to escape the usual crowded spots. The food was impressive. Tried the baos from Baowich and they were soft and flavourful. The Goan curry with rice and Surmai fry tasted fresh and well-cooked. Even the pizza stood out in terms of quality and balance of flavours 🍕 They also serve fresh draft beer, which was chilled and smooth 🍺 Mocktails and coffee were refreshing and nicely presented. Overall, a great combination of ambience, food and peaceful vibes. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a relaxed café experience in Goa.

Also had Goan curry with rice and Surmai fry — everything tasted fresh and authentic 🤤 Pizza was surprisingly good too, with great quality and balanced flavours. Big plus: fresh draft beer 🍺 directly from the tap — chilled and smooth. Mocktails and coffee were also well-presented and refreshing. Overall, great food, calm vibes and a lovely forest-like setting. Definitely worth visiting if you’re around the airport side of Goa. Highly recommended! ✨

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Cafe Chai Coffee on 22nd February. I visited the cafe with 6 of my friends, and what was supposed to be a nice evening turned into a frustrating and unpleasant experience. We placed our order for starters just before 8 PM. Despite ordering early, the food service was extremely slow. After a long wait, only two starters arrived — and shockingly, they didn’t even provide plates. We had to call the waiter multiple times just to get plates, and even then, one of my friends still didn’t receive one. When we asked again, the waiter casually responded, “ek ek kar ke aayega, wait kijiye,” which was very unprofessional. Since our tandoori chicken starter was taking forever, we decided to order the main course in the meantime. I specifically ordered Kolkata-style biryani and clearly asked them to make it spicy. However, what we were served was completely different — it tasted slightly sweet and nothing like authentic Kolkata biryani. On top of that, some of the chicken pieces had visible blood, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about food safety. The most ridiculous part was that our tandoori chicken starter arrived approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes later and that too after we had already finished our main course. The main course itself was not tasty, making the entire experience even worse. Even the starters were mediocre. The staff were unresponsive and showed no urgency or concern about the delay or food quality. There was no proper coordination, no apology, and no effort to improve the situation. Overall, extremely poor service, disappointing food quality, and highly unprofessional staff behavior. I would not recommend Cafe Chai Coffee to anyone based on this experience. Very disappointed.

A Cafe with a unique Forest Ambience in Vasco City..Food was very tasty and served Hot. The Service was very fast and excellent hospitality.We were made feel very special on our Anniversary with a nice decoration. I recommend this place personally.

Overrated, overpriced and overhyped. Not good experience. I live in Goa and visited 100s of restaurant, but this was really not good one. Taste of pasta was okayish and quantity was minimal but price was on higher side. Coffee was given in kids cup which you can’t even hold in hand. This restaurant is pricey located in interior of city with below average food quality. Will not recommend anyone!

Had a great time at this cafe. All three venues are owned by the same management. They have baowich, cafe chai coffe and the party hall. You can host your parties or birthday too. The selection is great, you can offer from both the cafes sitting anywhere. The staff is curious. It's open, green and full of energy. Please note if you visit in the evenings, make sure you cover yourself for mosquito. The staff offers help with coils. The food is great, must try is the bao here. Although a feedback to note the egg masala bao was bit oily apart from that everything was great

Cafe Chai Coffee truly serves the best coffee in the area. Every cup is rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. The owners are genuinely such good, warm-hearted people, their kindness adds so much to the experience. A cozy spot with incredible coffee and even better hospitality. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful experience here — Restaurant Manager Simon was exceptionally friendly and made the interaction warm and pleasant from start to finish. He was attentive without being intrusive, and added a really nice personal touch to the experience . The cheesecake was absolutely delicious — creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Overall, a lovely experience that I’d definitely recommend
