Fantastic. Nothing but love for the restaurant and the hard working staff. Food was delicious, the owner was super accommodating with our birthday group of 20+ people. I will definitely be back here to enjoy more of their wonderful food and the river of tequila that runs to every table :-)

Excellent Mexican food, really good and homemade. Tacos, beers and crafted cocktails. The staff is nice, good music too. They let me put my bike in the back when there's not a lot of people.

A very authentic Mexican bistro. I went here on Thursday evening with my fiancée and the place was full. There is seating both inside and outside available. The crew is Mexican and they make really authentic food (as confirmed by my fiancée who lived in Mexico). I can highly recommend tacos and quesadillas. The service is very friendly. At first we were sitting inside but they offered us a place outside as soon as it became free. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Mexican food.

Google
Tacos and quesadillas are fabulous, cooked to perfection. I’ve lived many years in Mexico and finding good genuine Mexican food that hasn’t been tinted by Tex-Mex culture is hard. The quesadilla is huge and well filled with beans and your choice of meat. This place delivers, seguro visitaré en mi siguiente visita! Staff is Mexican 🥰 and the cafe is very popular even on a Thursday evening, no reservations possible.

We tried all the drinks on the menu and the guy making our drinks was very helpful and friendly, we had the guac and the beans to snack, definitely coming back.

My favorite Mexican joint so far! Love the house margarita, not your typical mix. Also the tacos are topped with a great amount and delicious (pork ones being my choice)! They also have hot sauces that are actually spicy which is hard to find in Paris.

Fantastic ambience in a small place, food was so so good and at a really great price. We will be back for sure - cannot recommend enough!

The tacos we liked the most were cochinita. The best hot mexican sauce for tacos in Paris is here. The staff is nice as well.

Yelp
I have been in Europe for a couple of weeks and I have been craving tacos, when I say these tacos beyond reached my expectations!! They were amazing, the Michelada tasted so close to home I was shook. The service was great, the ambiance was casual and fun the music definitely did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I stopped by late to have a drink and found a vast selection of Mezcal. I didn't try the food because the kitchen was closed by then but the quality of the Mezcal is worth stopping by in itself. While there you should try out the drink called Chicharito.

Yelp
Mexican food in Paris!!! I had a hard time finding this place because it's so low key on a side street but once I arrived, I was instantly impressed by the cozy atmosphere. The staff greeted me and explained the menu in English. I ordered two chicken tacos and the frida margarita. Everything was yummy! The tacos were packed with shredded chicken, red onion, and cilantro. They were bursting with flavor and the portion was enough for dinner. The Frida margarita was absolutely delicious. You cannot go wrong with frozen sweet watermelon and tequila! My bill was $16... not bad at all. As for the ambience, I was here on a slow Monday night so it wasn't particularly lively but the candles and lovely music made up for that. I imagine it's packed on the weekends. I would highly recommended this cute place for anyone with a Mexican food craving! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
The tacos here are phenomenal constantly. The only reason the meals often suck is because the staff is awful. I speak Spanish fluently and they are still awful to me. The Parisian life must have caught up with them... But moving on! Let's talk prices. Lunch is a deal for 13€ with a drink. Brunch is 19€ which is also a good deal. However, dinner for 19€ for four tacos and a beer seems kind of pricey to me. For happy hour for 8€, you get a shot and a beer. They have a rotating taco menu where they have four tacos a month. They also have nachos, quesadillas, and huevos rancheros. They have baristas that make delicious coffee based beverages. So you go up and order at the counter but you can pay later if you like. Then you go get the condiments you need and silverware and find a spot to sit. If you go before 8 pm on a weekday, you will for sure get a seat. Lunches are busy but manageable. The people who work here are not very nice (especially the lunch team) but the tacos are both beautiful and delicious although small. Four tacos here will not leave you full. I deal with the crappy service here because the tacos are so good. Wifi is strong but the code is crazy long and can be found at the counter.

Yelp
I recommend this place to friends constantly! I love the tacos and being gluten and dairy free this place is super easy to eat at (not an easy find in Paris). Personally wouldn't recommend the brunch deal as a bit more pricey for not too much return - but the simple selection of tacos with different toppings are great! They change every so often so if you're a regular like me you're never going to get bored. Service isn't fantastic but everyone is fairly nice - just need that extra friendly boost which can sometimes be hard to find in Paris. Update: came here with my mum a couple of weeks ago and had a delicious lunch! When I went up to pay (you have to pay at the counter) the guy working there asked if I had come at night before - I hadn't. He then proceeded to give me a shot of an agave alcohol - just for me to have a try! He was so lovely and recommended I come back at night to try the cocktails (which I still have to do!).

Yelp
I really like this place! I came here for brunch over the summer, and absolutely adored the food. On weekends, they offer a brunch-only menu with freshly squeezed juice du jour, a hot drink, a main course, and yogurt with granola. For the main course, I chose the huevos rancheros (which were on point and deliciously spicy!!!!!), and my dining companion chose the tacos. We both loved the food. You won't leave hungry after that brunch meal - trust me. The service was at times a little slow (and sometimes we had to ask for things more than once despite it not being super crowded - it was summer and Paris was deserted), but the deliciousness of our meal made up for that. I would definitely come back here for Mexican again!

Yelp
The tacos here are really good! They have veggie options, which is great, and they change the toppings (fillings?) from time to time I think. Brunch here is ok, but maybe better to just get the tacos on their own. In the brunch you can choose a combination of 4 tacos (I just got 4 veggie, they came with cabbage and cheese and sweet potato I think), you get a fromage blanc with granola, a "smoothie" (which they fill up halfway in the glass if you order brunch, or a full one if you order it from the regular menu, which I thought was a bit strange but ok! Also it's more like juice than a smoothie), and a hot drink. I could have done without the granola and the coffee, which were both lacklustre. The tacos are delish though - I'd come back for them for sure.

Yelp
Friendly, great atmosphere, delicious food, tasty margaritas and guacamole! I wanted to come here a second night but ended up at another place being mistreated by a waitress! Big mistake! Anyway, highly recommend this cute little restaurant. The clientele seemed equally as happy being here!!

Yelp
My Indian friend and I were looking for good spicy food in Paris on a Friday night and ran into Cafe Chilango. The ambiance was great, lots of people outside drinking and chatting. Inside was warm and cozy. We ordered the mixed tacos which currently came in different flavours: spicy beef, chicken, nopal, and camote (sweet potato). They were all great, specially the chicken ones! Recommended

Yelp
So the husband was reluctant to have Mexican food in Paris, but this place turned out to be fantastic. The best tacos I have ever had in my life came from a small place in Sausalito and the tacos I had here are a very close second. The chicken was shredded and juicy, the cactus for the vegetarian taco was tender and well accented with peppers and some cabbage. I also throughly enjoyed the vegetarian sweet potato taco which had a mild cumin overtones. The husband had shredded beef tacos and was well satisfied too. Before I could ask him how they were they were gone. Nothing was super spicy, but there were hot sauces around and the tacos were served with a small dish of spicier salsa. Margaritas were also excellent. If you go to Paris this is an awesome, reasonable meal dished out in a cool atmosphere.

Yelp
Some of the best, authentic tacos you can find in Paris. The tortillas are fredhly made and the ingredients are well mastered to produce an unique flavor. The place is cosy and smell of freshly roasted coffee. The only down point is the price of their micheladas (8euros) but it doesnt prevent going to the Mecican café to be a really enjoyable experience!

Yelp
Wow finally a good Mexican restaurant in Paris! The Quesadillas are absolutely delicious and the cocktails affordable and very good too. Loved the guacamole too. Only downside is that cocktails are a bit small. The ambiance is great too. Go there to chill with friends while enjoying great Mexican food and drinks.

Yelp
The food, drinks and atmosphere were great! We sat by the bar directly opposite where the chef was cooking and could see him preparing all our food. I'm vegan and the chef came and spoke with me and recommended and prepared vegan tacos for me! The guacamole and chips were delicious and so was the margarita. It was pretty expensive but I guess Paris is!

Yelp
Natural wines. Great food made from quality ingredients. We had the burrata, sweet potato/avocado, and blistered pepper dishes. Server was great and spent time explaining the restaurant's philosophy.

Yelp
Hands down, one of the best Mexican restaurants in Paris. Great food, friendly service, and excellent coffee - what more do you need? I went for brunch and had a plate of 4 different tacos. That day they were offering carnitas, queso fresco and a potato with cheese. They were all very good. First off, they use handmade corn (not flour) tortillas which, to me, is essential. There are a lot of decent tacos in Paris like Candelaria and El Nopal, but Cafe Chilango is the most authentic in my opinion. At the other places, like Candelaria, the owner is Columbian and at El Nopal it's really hit or miss. Those places aren't bad, mind you, but I wouldn't call them authentic. Chilango gets it right and I can't wait to go back to try their micheladas!

Yelp
Love this! Went in randomly searching for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious tacos and attentive staff.

Yelp
Tried my first proper tacos here along with the fresh latin music! They were pretty amazing, especially the one with the cactus (sorry for the ignorant tourist way of describing but my spanish fails big time). We also tried quesedillas and it was pretty savoury as well. Only downside was the hell flame inside, beware if you're planning to go on a warm day!

Yelp
I had great expectations about this place and am sorry to say I was sorely disappointed. Firstly, my cocktail with "spices and lime" tasted like medicine and was undrinkable. Next, we waited over 45mins for our food and when we enquired as to how far away it was, they casually realised that they had forgotten to send the order to the kitchen, and didn't apologise or try make up for it. Once our food arrived, we really wanted to wash it down with some cold beer, but we were informed that it hadn't been put in the fridge, so it wasn't cold (at 9.30 on a Saturday night!). The guacamole was tasty, although heavy on the chips and light on the avo, tortillas nice & soft but every dish had feta overload and the quesadillas were just full of cheese. It was messy eating, but we weren't given any serviettes. All in all, not bad prices, but the food would have had to have been amazing to make up for the terrible service (yet it was just OK, more tex mex than authentic). Won't be going back here.

Yelp
Favorite mexican place in Paris! Great tacos, coffee and pastries. The staff is very sweet and the space is beautiful and cozy. Good place to hang out with friends as well as to work by yourself. Highly recomended!

Yelp
People is nice, service is slow. The food is good though!

Yelp
Guacamole was good. Tortillas were nice. There were a few things on the menu they didn't have. The meat had an odd texture and not much flavor. Couldn't tell the difference between the pork and chicken. Also way overpriced. Go to El Nopal instead.

Yelp
Terrible treatment by staff: staff served us a lesser-version of what we ordered, a lesser-version of what they served other clients, and then LIED TO US about it. For absolutely no reason. Here's the story: I was super excited to introduce my husband to this place, as we both LOVE Mexican food and this was the best I had found in Paris! But what happened that afternoon left me bewildered, upset, and completely turned off to what I thought was a gem of a restaurant. We order at the counter, and while choosing what to eat, I ask a staff member a few questions about their menu. We settle on two orders of their 4 mixed tacos (beef, chicken, nopal, and cheese) and go take our seats. We wait for around 25 minutes, which isn't a big deal because it's Saturday and we're in no rush, and hey it's Paris. But the waiter realizes he's serving everyone but us, and so he comes over and suggests the kitchen may have forgotten our order so could we refresh his memory? We tell him, and ten minutes later he brings over our tacos, but instead of 4 tacos each with unique toppings, we get 2 and 2 of the same. Thats odd, so we ask another staff member "Sorry, but I thought there were 4 different tacos, no?", and he proceeds to tell us that they only do the 4 different ones on weekdays, which is strikes us as a complete LIE because everyone else in the restaurant is receiving 4 different tacos, and much better-dressed up than ours with double the toppings! Not wanting to kick up a fuss, we finish our tacos and leave, feeling completely upset and confused as to why we received less than what we ordered, less than the other clients, and were lied to about it. So if you want to be treated like crap for absolutely no reason: this is where it's at.

Yelp
The food was good, as the other reviews noted, however, unfortunately the service was so bad I just can't bring myself to go back. We ordered our food at the counter and the guy took the orders of both of my friends, and then literally turned and walked away without taking my order. He wasn't busy or anything, he just ambled off. We stared at him for a long time but he never came back. We got the attention of another waiter and explained that he hadn't taken my order, so the other waiter took it. We ordered the brunch which was 4-5 courses. My order consistently did not arrive for every single course. After waiting for a long time for the main course (my friends' food was cold) we asked the waiter (the first one who walked off) why I hadn't received my food yet, and he was like "just start eating without her" to my friends! He didn't apologise either, it was so rude. I had to literally go up to the counter and ask where my food was, for ever single course. And for some reason they seemed surprised every single time that I was there and wasn't getting my orders. I was clearly not a priority for them at all. By the time we got to the dessert, they had already served the last desserts to people who had arrived much later than we did. So I missed out. They offered for me to take something else but it was dry and not what I'd paid for. They really need to improve their level of service, because my whole experience there was a massive hassle, and I was completely neglected. and no, this is not typical service for Paris.
