Super cute spot. We stopped in to pick up some pastries that were absolutely delicious. The café itself is so cute and charming. Will definitely go back for coffee and a treat. 🤩

Very charming cafe. I recommend checking the back, where there's a small solarium, where you might be able to sit for a while to enjoy your purchases. My espresso hit par easily, and I heard no complaints from the rest of my party about the beverages they ordered. No dairy-free options among the pastries, unfortunately.

Beautiful cafe with lots of pastry options. They’re available on classpass so I tried the cortado and liege waffle. The waffle fell short for me, wasn’t fresh and this is coming from someone who tries the the true liege waffles.

The vibe in this cafe in downtown Chicago is quite nice. However, the staff wasn't very friendly, and the milk in my latte was not steamed properly - it was all foam. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a good latte. Tiramisu cake is alright 👍

The gelato here was fantastic—super creamy with a rich, bold coffee flavor that really stood out. However, the cheesecake was a bit disappointing as it lacked the strong cheese flavor I was expecting. Overall still a nice spot for dessert, and I’d definitely come back to try some of their other sweets next time!

Dine in (and ofc tipped) but they don’t seem to have proper dine in service? Coffe tastes really bad- it’s worst latte that I I had in Chicago. The only good side is this shop is clean and tidy.

Cafe Cremerie is one of my favorite coffee shops in Chicago. The ambiance is incredible - transports you to a European coffee/pastry shop and the baristas are so friendly. The spinach and cheese pastry was delicious. I love trying their seasonal lattes - the blueberry white mocha is one of my favorites! They also have really yummy gelato and even have some flavors served in an orange, pineapple and lemon shell which really makes you feel like you're in Europe. Beautiful cafe!

The cafe itself is very cute and benefits from a lot of natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We received our order pretty quickly. I started with an affogato, which was decent, though not particularly memorable. The highlight was the Pineapple Ripieni, served in a charming pineapple bowl. While the presentation was adorable, the sorbet was a bit too sweet for my taste. They offered a monthly special latte, but I wish they had more specialty lattes on the menu to choose from. While they did have a variety of desserts available, none of them seemed particularly special or enticing to me. All in all, Cafe Cremerie is a lovely spot to relax, but there is room for improvement in terms of their menu offerings.

We dropped in for a mid morning coffee and initially were impressed with the , decor and service. They had picture perfect patisserie in the pastry case as well. We ordered two iced Americanos and the price was really, really high - and the coffee was just OK. Simply too expensive for what you get.

Great coffee shop with desserts! Old world style with fabulous recipes and good service! While seating is limited, it is very quaint. Cheesecakes are European style which are less sweet and dense. Small bite cookies are delicious. Custards, crème brûlées choices are numerous and good!

Saw this place all over Tik Tok a few months ago, and my friend and I had to visit! We shared their lemon gelato, which is literally lemon gelato in a lemon. My friends really didn't like the slimy texture, but I didn't mind it at all. I thought the flavor was great, and it was really tart (just how I like it). I could've eaten this entire gelato by myself. There were a lot of other really delicious-looking pastries, but I couldn't eat any more because this was our 5th treat in a row after having 3 breakfasts in a row. Cafe Cremerie is also a really nice bright cafe, and we saw a few people studying/doing work here.

The classiest nook of a creamery with the most refreshing mixed berry gelato (the mango and strawberry were good too) with quaint seating , wallpaper, and a gorgeous view into a view into a vi e filled courtyard. You will think you were transported gift Chicago to Paris! It's so charming and worth every penny!

This boutique café is absolutely adorable. Cozy seating. We ended up getting a sofa spread, which includes four desserts and coffee drink. The cheesecakes are amazing and hands down best mocha latte ever. Service is also incredible, Laura is fantastic! Highly recommend making a stop here for a sweet.

Cute bakery with a small sitting area and bar. I went here with a few friends for happy hour. We split a bottle of Prosecco, pizza, cake and ice cream. The pizza was just average at best. The Nutella cake was very yummy and I enjoyed the cherry chip ice cream a lot. My double scoop ice cream cone was $10 which was very pricey for the small size. Overall good experience but a little pricey for dessert given the small portions.

Greeted by a super smiley barista who answered all of my questions. This is a beautiful aesthetic cafe. I feel like I'm on set of Pretty Little Liars. They serve alcohol here too. Not a lot of seating options. But if you do grab a seat then lucky you!

Super cute European type coffee shop! The croissant, gelato, and matcha latte were very good but I would definitely come back to try more of their pastries/macaroons. The staff is friendly. Location is right in river north on State Street so surrounding the shops and everything. Not sure if I would go work there with limited seating but good place to hangout!

I didn't know I needed Cafe Cremerie in my life, but I did. I walked by twice and spotted sorbet and oat milk liqueur and knew I had to stop in. It's so cute inside and appears that it may have additional seating out back in the warmer months, though not sure. Very modern, yet cozy European inspired decor and cute little merch section. I ended up with a boozy passion fruit sorbet "milk" shake (they had oat milk but I opted for it to be made with water) and it was REALLY good. My only regret is not trying the liqueur. If I'm ever back in Chicago I'd 100% go again.

Cute cafe in River North! The decor and interior is chic and beautiful. It offers a variety of pastries, cakes, coffee, wine and gelato. We tried Affogato with Sea Salt Caramel gelato. The espresso was pretty strong! A lot of their bakery items and gelato flavors were not available and shelves seemed to be empty when we went there in the evening. Would have loved to try some other options!

Watered down lattes. Seriously disappointed with this place. Had high hopes because it looks cute. It's nicely decorated, but small. The coffee was below average and it was $6 for a super small serving.

This is such a cute cafe! They have great coffee, pastries and gelato on the menu. The ambience is classy and chic. The seating is limited though. The seats are by the window and the window overlooks a small European garden and make you think like you are in Europe sipping coffee by a cute garden. The service is fast. The baristas are helpful while you place your order and you have to go collect your order once they call your name out. We tried the catalana crème brûlée, raspberry sorbet and the espresso macchiato coffee. All food and beverages are great quality. They even offer pizzas which I haven't tried yet but I will definitely try on my next visit.

This place is so cute! When you step in, it's like you've stepped into a cafe in Europe. The gelato is a bit pricey, $9 for two scoops. But the quality and texture of the gelato can't be beat. My standout flavors were the strawberry and coconut. I'll have to come back to try the other desserts here! The location is in a very busy area so parking is a bit difficult to find at night. I had to park a few blocks away and walk over. The service was friendly and prompt. You can sample the gelato here! I definitely recommend visiting this place for a date or study session.

This place deserves 5 stars!! The pastry was soooo good please try it and they double checked the amount of honey with me going in my latte to make it perfectly. The the aesthetic is straight out of Paris. Will be coming back!

So here's the thing. This place mostly runs on vibes. It's a nice and pretty store with some dessert options and the people behind the counter were lovely. That being said I ordered an espresso creme brûlée. Its was basically a panna cotta with sugar on top and flavored with espresso. It was fine. It was not a creme brulee... the top was not brûléed at all. It was also $13. Very rarely real creme brulee is that much. The only positive was it came in a glass cup which you got to keep. Which is nice... but unnecessary. Bottom line: This place is very underwhelming and not very good. Chicago has so many great dessert places. Go somewhere else.

This cafe is one of the most gorgeous places. It's beautiful. It's chic . It's very clean and very well designed. Both young ladies that are working there were nice and friendly and very welcoming. . I ordered an americano , pistachio cheese cake and tiramisu. They coffee and pistachio cheese cake were tea good but tiramisu was not good . Next time if I come back here I wouldn't order it . The price was higher than what I expected. I'm coming from San Francisco where everything is super expensive. But this place beats SF cafes .

In love with this cafe. Super cute and cozy location serving up coffees, wines, gelato, and sweet treats! Not far from the Magnificent Mile, I popped over to this location in search of Affogato (went with decaf espresso poured over vanilla gelato) and it was heaven. The staff person that mixed up my dessert was super nice and very pleasant. My partner in crime went with a small cake and expressed positive reviews. Comfortable seating, quiet atmosphere. Wonderful place to sit back, relax, and spend time with friends.

Inside decor is cute but dated- would be good for 2018 influencer, especially with the tacky French music. Went in during the morning and ran into the owner at the register, who proceeded to not assist employee during the rush.... Cakes were cute and sweet, but the dried, sticky gelato at the base of my table made me question regurgitating the overpriced confectionery and coffee.

European vibe for this cute cafe. It's super chic and there's you can even be seated outside. There's so many different desserts options. The Nutella bomboloni and the espresso coppas were amazing. I also got the espresso martini. Strong coffee and perfect amount of alcohol. Everyone that was working there was super nice and helpful.

The coconut ice cream was so good!! I still think about it a week later... lol. I got a double scoop with the raspberry sorbet, which paired quite nicely. The tiramisu latté was pretty average but the baristas are very sweet and friendly. The interior is decorated beautifully.

This was the absolute cutest place. I wish I could try everything but alas that's impossible. I got adorable tiny cakes and an iced latte and my friend got the lightest fluffiest pistachio cake. You can also spike everything and there's a wine happy hour. Definitely worth checking out.

I stopped in here for a coffee and quick dessert to-go on a Sunday. The place seemed cozy and nice. There was nobody in line when I walked in, but some were seated in the dining area. There was one staff member working the counter. She took my order quickly. I decided to get an extra hot mocha and tiramisu. However, it took almost 20 minutes to get my small order. Others who walked in later were served before me. The mocha was also too cold and sweet, but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to stand there even longer. The tiramisu tasted pretty fresh and was overall decent, but definitely not worth $11. Overpriced and overrated place in my opinion and not coming back.

Went here for a quick stop and it was absolutely such a cute little cafe! I got an affagato with cinnamon icecream and it was so creamy and refreshing on a hot day. I sat in the back of the store on the couch and it was such a sweet atmosphere. It's against a window that had such beautiful views of greenery along the neighboring building. If you are a fan of Ghibli films, this cafe reminded me of it - cozy, cute, and dainty.

I came here on Tuesday with my friend, and I was positively overwhelmed with the options they have from pastries to dessert to beverages. The gentleman behind the counter was really friendly, greeted me right away, and walked me through what he recommended. I ended up with a cake in the jar, and it's some of the best I've had. I had the strawberry mascarpone. It was smooth, and best of all not too sweet and not too plain. You tasted the strawberries, the cake and the chocolate chips were perfect. I love that it came with a lid in case you don't finish it one setting or you can take it to go. He also mentioned that the jar itself is made out of glass, and it's meant for you to take home. It reminds me of a bourbon glass. I can't speak on their drinks or pastries as I didn't get any on this trip. The restroom is fancy, it's an all gender single stall, and they have a key for you to enter. We hang out at the cafe for a bit and catch up. There were people working out of the cafe, studying, chatting away. It was an intimate environment, with limited seating that's first come first serve. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area next, and I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a small bite, sweets and drinks.

The service was very good and the employees were friendly! The tiramisu and crème Brûlée came in a glass cup and were both delicious! Prices were fair for being downtown. They make espresso fraps and they can make them decaf. Will return!

I went to this place with my family on the 8th (yesterday). While we were looking at the baked goods, we noticed Mold on the lemon cake things (right next to the strawberry cake or the berry one I'm pretty sure) and that was a not the best thing to see. While I was putting sugar in my coffee where the sugar is located, I noticed an employee taking out a sandwich to serve and on the box, the label said "use by 6/4" which startled me because it had been 4 days since they had expired. While the food and drinks were good, the food safety was appalling and I sincerely hope the person who ordered that sandwich didn't get sick. I wish I took photos of the mold but I didn't. Needless to say, my family and I won't be going back there again. Taste aside, food safety comes first.

Very nice. Hot lattes so soothing. Barista nice and helpful. Wonderful view and sunlight in the morning. Peaceful. Excellent place to sit and think, to dream, to recount with a friend those who have wronged you.

This place has a menu on their website that doesn't actually translate. Got there to pick up some dessert and they had virtually nothing there. Upon asking where are all the menu items, the rude barista said they bake whatever they feel like that day and when I asked if I called ahead, he again said, it's just based on whatever they feel like. It felt like a pointless journey for a misleading website. The shop look decent, but it doesn't look like what the photos crack it up to be. From the desserts we got, it was mediocre. This place is underwhelming and I'd recommend folks go elsewhere. I won't be back.

I found this gem of a location as a date spot and it's perfect as that in my opinion. We hadn't seen this place yet in the area, and it looked new, so we decided to stop in. Oh my gosh, the interior is so beautiful! Honestly, I would just walk in to see in person the way they transformed this place into a Parisian chic shop. It is too cute!! I really like how they hit every area of what you could potentially be interested in in a shop like this. They've got wine by the bottle, european chic shopping items, gelato, pastries, coffee, cocktails, food, and more! I'm wondering if this was done purposely to see what is most popular. I definitely felt compelled to try everything. There is a good amount of seating area inside and a lot of space to walk around in the foyer by the door. The couple of times we came in, we got: Margherita Pizza - Considering this is a cafe and not a pizzeria, I was pleasantly surprised this was so good! Wasn't floppy and the toppings didn't fall off like some other neopolitan pizzas I've tried. The sauce was bold flavored and I appreciated there was enough on the pizza to match the cheese. Cheese was not overly salty. Lambrusco - Really unique wine! When I came in the first time, I asked about the wines they would recommend of the ones they feature, and they explained the sommelier (who they have a pic of in the shop) who picked out the one they have. Of the ones the person who was helping me tried, he mentioned the lambrusco was the one to get. I totally agree! I usually don't like fizzy but I do think price is justified and it paired really well with the pizza. I'm docking a star for two reasons: 1) Making sure the food offerings are fresh - Because we requested a full pizza as opposed to a slice, they went and got one for me that was different than what was already out. I would caution and ask how fresh the food is in their case before purchasing only because I'm not entirely sure how often things are rotated. I saw the same pizza slices out when I came in twice so I'm happy I received something fresh, but that could have been conditional. 2) Pricing - The prices here are a bit steep for what you are getting. A lot of the wine offerings are cheaper online, but I really like how they were serious about getting a sommelier to pick out what they keep in the shop. I think they would be even more popular, however (especially in the summertime) if they considered dropping their prices on some of the giftable shopping items they carry. The employees I came across each time I was in were really friendly, helpful, and great to chat with. I am so excited to come back and perhaps try their gelato and macarons and experience this location over the summer. They mentioned they plan on opening up the back door in the summertime for seating outside by the ivy - if they do it, I can't imagine how beautiful that would be! The concept of the location as a small business is wonderful. All the best!!!

This café is a wonderful spot to drop in for a chat with friends while you're downtown, but there's no need to make a special trip just to visit. With a diverse selection of cakes, drinks, and ice creams, it's, in essence, the perfect spot for indulging in sweet treats and delightful conversations.

Cafe Cremerie is a woman owned European cafe in River North - aka my favorite hidden gem. You'd never know it from the outside, but the interior of the cafe exudes elegant vibes of having tea on the Seine. It's usually never too crowded and so it's my go to spot for catching up with old friends, getting some natural light, and reading while enjoying the greenery in the courtyard. Their sweets are out of this world and I could easily spend the whole day just sampling macarons and cakes :) Its European vibe is so unique and it's definitely a local spot that most tourists overlook. I stumbled inside accidentally one day and found myself transported overseas in seconds. Looking forward to maybe meeting the owner Lisa someday.

Amazing little gelato spot and bakery in the heart of river north! I got the pineapple ripieno, which tasted super fresh and not too sweet. They also have macarons and other cute pastries. They have about 7-8 gelato flavors like pistachio, cinnamon, and dulce de lèche. I think it is the perfect dessert spot to stop by if you are walking around the area or just got out of dinner at one of the many restaurants nearby. The staff was also extremely friendly!

Walked by this on our visit to Chicago and decided to stop in. We got two small gelatos that were delicious! Green tea and sea salt caramel. I loved the sea salt caramel but be warned it is on the saltier side. More savory that outright sweet. I give it a 4 only because there wasn't any open sitting. But would go again.

Cafe Cremerie is a quaint little cafe tucked away off the main stretch of the Magnificent Mile. I visited the cafe around 7:45-8 p.m. on a Friday with two other people and there was plenty of seating and the staff were super friendly. We all ordered gelato (cinnamon, mixed berry and green tea) and thoroughly enjoyed what we chose! We didn't try any of the pastries, but everything was so cute and looked amazing! There is a restroom for paying customers too.

I absolutely adored this place. I was working in River North, and when it started raining, I ducked into a cafe. I was there for about 45 minutes before they kicked me out into the rain, citing a 45 minute laptop policy when crowded. I walked through the rain to Cafe Cremerie, which I expected to be crowded, but I was the only person there. The two people working were very friendly and when I asked about the laptop policy, she told me to stay as long as I'd like and gave me the wifi password. It was so kind and comforting after being kicked out of the other cafe! My latte was great and so was my chocolate croissant. The music that was playing was very relaxing and the interior of the cafe is beautifully done. It was a lovely place to spend a morning at, and quiet enough to get quality work done. Highly recommend!

My friend and I came here for something sweet. The shop is very cute. The desserts in the case looks so good. She got the hazelnut and chocolate gelato. I got a scoop of the chocolate gelato in a waffle cone. It was so good. The chocolate was very light and not rich. It was not overly sweet either. It was the perfect balance and was very refreshing. I cannot wait to come back and try all the desserts in the case.

I got there when they opened at 9 am and they were still baking the pastries so there was not much to choose from. As a cafe, wouldn't you have an ample supply of baked goods right when you open? Amongst the pastries that were there, they asked if I wanted them warmed up. This got me thinking that the pastries were from the other day. If they were baked fresh, why would you need to warm them up? Cost is more on the $$$. Maybe because of the location.

This cafe is an adorable gem in the River North neighborhood. They have rotating drinks and treats as well as selling local favorites in their little store. I enjoyed the Frose and chocolate croissant yum!

This is my first Yelp review post because it's way too ridiculous. We really like the green tea gelato(best in town imo) so we come here on a weekly basis to get a pint. The original price is 17, already on a higher end, and all kinds of fees included it's ~21, including tip it can be ~24. It's usually good but this time we got the pint roughly only less than 2/3 full. Very disappointed.

This place was so cute and made you feel like you were stepping into Europe as all the reviews say, but I was so disappointed by the food itself - especially for the prices! My gelato scoop was so teeny, and the staff gave me a sample spoon to eat it because it was so miniscule. Not that great in flavor or texture either. My cream filled bombolini was actually custard filled so very disappointing. My mom's nutella filled bombolini looked much better, but both were hard and stale. Our coffees were good though....but for the total price of $20 these desserts were definitely not worth it!

Ahh! This used to be Alliance Patisserie, remember that? The food ranges from $3 - $8 and alcoholic drinks $10 - $11. Had the Margherita Pizza and it's very good. I expected it to be warmer though. Staff and service is excellent.
