Food here was delicious! Went there for my birthday. The waitress was so nice! She even sang a cute happy birthday song, which led to a group that was there eating to start singing too. The chef continuously checked on us which was nice. Would definitely recommend & come again.

First time visiting Cafe' Dauphine! The atmosphere and interior design is fabulous. The tones are warm and diverse with white tablecloths are a combination of romance and dinner with friends. Our server was very calm and polite. While Cafe Dauphine is EXTREMELY clean. The food had its highs and mediums. The portions sizes were great. The prices were well worth it. The stuffed peppers is what I consumed, but did not enjoy. The stuffing was mixed with seafood boil which is NOT okay with Louisiana Cuisine. The side salad was wonderful with high quality ingredients and greens. The fried fish was cooked hard and the grease needed to be changed prior to frying it. The bread pudding was okay. The pasta, according to my friend who consumed it, lacked the alfredo flavor. The cheesecake that was purchased was gorgeous and appeared gourment style. The eggrolls were great, although I dislike cooked cabbage. Another friend loved the ribs. All of the side items were fresh and not canned or bagged, which is great. Overall, I would visit again and would recommend it. But it seems the side items and appetizers were more worthy of consumption than the entrees.

It’s a place to go to enjoy great hospitality and delicious food in NOLA especially the waitress. She was awesome, and she made me feel so welcome as soon as I walked inside. The crab cakes were seasoned to perfection as well as the fish and shrimp platter. It’s a place I will visit again!!!!

Hidden gem in the 9th ward just blocks from my Uncle's house. Very nice ambience. Our waitress Jasmine has excellent customer service. I was very impressed from start to finish. Appetizers were Lizardi Rolls & Bacon/Cheese Fries. Entrees were Original Stuffed Bell Pepper with fries and a house salad. Fried Fish & Shrimp with red beans. Also a Hot Sausage Poboy and Fried Fish with fries (both not pictured) I will visit Cafe Dauphine when in town. I suggest you guys give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Visited this place on 8/30 and it was amazing! Everything was delicious! I had lizardi rolls, a taste of a table mate's crabcake, the redfish florentine. OMG. I must go back!

Google
True New Orleans cuisine with amazing environs in an elegant, classic renovation. It's snuggled in a neighborhood in Ninth Ward. Original Stuffed Bell Pepper is a sumptuous classic. Excellent oysters and shrimp dishes. You may be put off that it is deep in a neighborhood and not on a thoroughfare, but hey, this is classic New Orleans "comment tout le monde le en fait."

Google
I could smell the food from around the corner. Great portions of really good food, very reasonable prices. Best Red Beans and Rice I have ever had. Stuffed shrimp, Seafood seasoned and golden perfection.

Google
Good prices for the food they have there. I had the grilled chicken dinner and it was a bit more spicy than I expected, but still delicious. The atmosphere here is really nice here too. Service was great and fast. Came back and had the roast beef poboy, so good!

Yelp
I was here recently on a Friday evening. There were five in my group and we had reservations for 6:30. There weren't many people inside the restaurant so we would have been good without reservations. The weather was pleasant so I don't know if it is ever crowded but it wasn't this particular evening. Four of us ordered the Lizardi rolls. Everyone loved them except me. I thought they were dry. The others raved about how great they were so maybe it's my taste buds that are faulty. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Pasta and was a little disappointed because the sauce was rather bland and lacked flavor. I was hoping for an Alfredo sauce but the menu did not say it would be so I might be responsible for my own disappointment. The shrimp were delicious and perfectly flavored. Someone in my party ordered the Original Stuffed Bell Pepper. That was said to be disappointing because it seems Seafood Boil was used to prepare it and everyone knows that Seafood Boil and ground beef doesn't mix well. Another ordered the BBQ Ribs and that person was happy. The ribs were huge and thick and apparently tasted as good as they looked. Someone else ordered the Fish Dinner. I don't quite recall what the verdict was so I can't report anything. I don't remember what the other gentleman had but I do remember he ordered cheesecake and it looked delicious. It was a huge slice and I was slightly jealous. Homemade bread pudding was also delivered to our table for someone but the size of the serving was not as impressive as the cheesecake. The neighborhood that the restaurant is in seems residential and it was dark and not much lighting on any of the streets once you left the main street. I don't believe there was a parking lot but there seemed to be plenty of available street parking since the place in on a corner. The service was timely and we had no issues with our server. I might come back if someone suggested but I would get something else and I would probably get the cheesecake and hope I got a huge slice.

Yelp
I am so pleased we ventured from the French Quarter to visit this adorable cafe/restaurant! I was searching for Black cultural places to visit while in New Orleans and Cafe Dauphine popped up in my search. Though a bit of a hike (we honestly wondered where we were being taken in our Lyft haha), it was well worth it! The restaurant is tucked in a residential neighborhood. The decor is simple and warm. Thinking about it, it would be so nice to have a fireplace in there! The music was soft but a good selection. Our waitress was adorable and very helpful. We found an awesome Groupon deal for an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert. I honestly, would have paid full price for everything we got. The food was delicious. For an appetizer, we got seafood egg rolls. They were a little weird but in a good way. For an entree, I got the stuffed shrimp dinner. The red beans & rice... the way they were able to make a "stuffed shrimp"??? So good!!! My friend said her grilled chicken sandwich was perfect. The fries were so good!! Much praise to the chef! Oh, and the dessert!! We were too stuffed to finish our meals, so we definitely didn't have room for dessert and had to get it to go. We ordered the bread pudding. I didn't get a picture of it and I ate it the next morning cold but... Y'all. SO GOOD!!! And that pecan rum sauce?! MY GOD!!! I can only imagine how good it would've been when it was warm. So so good! Definitely, visit Cafe Dauphine!

Yelp
Now this is THE seafood meal of my NOLA trip. Came in using a groupon and was pleasantly surprised and how amazing the food was! Usually Groupon can be hit or miss but this spot was a hit! It's the neighborhood that is a miss. Tourists beware. Uber it! The crawfish chowder is creamy, hearty, and tons of crawfish! Can't go wrong with the crab cakes. They've got to be the biggest and best I've had! And it wasn't full of breading like most crab cakes but actually fully filled with crab. Crazy huh?? The catfish was huge. Good crispiness, light batter, and definitely a big portion. Entrees come with two sides which is more than plenty. Mine also came with stuffed shrimp...and guess what it was stuffed with...crab! Definitely couldn't get enough. Come hungry because you'll be stuffed! And definitely satisfied.

Yelp
I don't even know where to start with this review, because I just want everyone to know how delicious everything that comes out of this place is, and the serious warm heart of the owner, Tia. Cafe Dauphine was a recommended vendor for the venue we chose to have our wedding at in New Orleans. I told her I was coming down for a site visit and would like to do a tasting, and boy, did we do a tasting! We went to her restaurant to do the tasting, and were greeted promptly inside the dining room. She met with us briefly and said that she would put some things together for us to taste, based on the sample menu. She literally pulled out all the stops, and the food was so delicious!!! It was so insanely good, that we couldn't stop eating, and I honestly felt like I got rolled out of there that night. We started with the crawfish corn chowder, fish, pasta, stuffed bell peppers, and a lot of other dishes in between that were all bursting with flavor. Flash forward to my wedding day, and she realy brought the good food!! My guest couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was, and literally wanted her to bottle the crawfish corn chowder for them to take home. Oh, and the bread pudding....just amazing! Definitely recommend stopping here for a bite or for all your catering needs, because you are sure to get an amazing meal and awesome customer service!!

Yelp
I had the honor of picking Cafe Dauphine for my Birthday Lunch. It was one of the last black owned restaurants in the city that I had to try. I was truly amazed by this place. The service and the food were exceptional! The location is tucked away in a neighborhood in the Lower Ninth ward, which I find very cool. Peaceful and quiet area. Upon entering Cafe Dauphine, you are greeted with welcoming smiles! The waitress was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. She helped everyone in our party make decisions on our meal! Now to the food... Most people at my table started with a crab and crawfish bisque.... Listen.... it was truly a meal within itself, I could have ordered 5. The flavor was phenomenal and it had all the seafood in it! Not just one little thing but enough to make it super filling! I truly enjoyed it. For my lunch, I went with a Fish and Shrimp plate. The seafood was fried to perfection and with just the right spices to give it a kick! Along with it, I had the loaded mash potatoes, which was truly loaded and almost a meal it self! I really enjoyed the food and vibe here. This is a great place for group outings. Wonderful Lunch Place Place for seafood lovers *FYI No alcohol Street parking is available, but you definitely shouldn't have any issues finding parking in the area.

Yelp
Two friends and I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday in the afternoon. The person who greeted us never said welcome or hello just how many. She walked us to our seat and walked away. Huh? We sat and waited at least 10 minutes before asking if anyone was going to come over. Who seemed to be the only waitress yelled that she would be right with us! After another 8-10 minutes she still hadn't come to take out order. One of my friends grew really impatient and told her she needed to come take our order. I asked that we just leave and go somewhere else. My friend insisted on staying because she was hungry and didn't feel like leaving. So we stayed. The waitress finally came over to take our order. She immediately stated that it was only her third day on the job which made us feel a little less agitated about the wait and lack of service. There was also someone smoking inside the building. When I asked why it smelled like someone was smoking she said that it was the "cotton candy machine" . They don't sell cotton candy y'all ! So I asked that she please go check on the "cotton candy machine" since it must be burning. She shuffled behind the bar to the backside of the restaurant. A few minutes after her return the smell seemed to calm down miraculously. I guess she put the fire out. I ordered the pictured dish! This dish was extremely delicious! Scrape the plate and press the crumbs with my finger! It saved them from a one star honestly. Although the food was undeniably good and I love supporting minority owned businesses , I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone or revisit without suggesting somewhere else to go. They really need to focus on making sure they train their staff before throwing them out on the floor. Definitely one of the worst service experiences I've ever had!

Yelp
What an amazing experience! I visited Cafe Dauphine NYE weekend for my bday. The ambiance was beautiful. It had a chic jazz feel to it. For appetizers we order the lizardi rolls. The were sooooo good! They were stuffed with crawfish, crabmeat, shrimp and lettuce I believe. For dinner I had the creole gumbo. It was okay. They were a little stingy with the seasoning. My cousin had the creole Alfredo. That was extremely good, highly recommended. The best part of my experience was our waiter. He was very tentative and the restaurant was pretty busy that evening. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I was on FACEBOOK and I saw a review about this BLACK OWNED BUSINESS in the Lower 9th ward. I am VERY HAPPY and SATISFIED that I went there and I have continued to patronize this business because they take PRIDE in the preparation of their dishes. The dining area is quaint but yet has a nice ambiance which allows you to watch the food being prepared. The server's are attentive to you and your requests making the dining experience pleasurable. That's why I've given them a high score and have taken the time to recommend this restaurant to you and anyone visiting New Orleans. The prices are in the median range for Blackened Red Fish in New Orleans.

Yelp
It's on the corner in a humble neighborhood, But step inside--with the crisp tablecloths and colorful decorations--you know you're in a good place, Very friendly service. Jon enjoyed his shrimp and grits, Nina's burger was huge and cooked the way she liked it. My fried shrimp were fresh & fried right, but my favorite thing was the house salad, a variety of greens and little bits of cheese.

Yelp
I just ate here yesterday for lunch. I had the stuffed bell pepper, red beans and rice and a nice salad. It was rolling y'all. my waitress Ry took care of me and it felt very comfortable in there. That stuffed bell pepper was so good it's still on my mind. It had some nice bits of crab in it. And I ate the whole pepper like you're supposed to ha..
google avatar

Maleka W.

Yelp
Definitely a hidden gem in the lower ninth ward. I highly recommend the Lizardi egg rolls. They are filled with shrimp and crawfish and come with a side of sweet chili sauce. We also tried the red fish with white wine cream sauce and the original bell pepper with a side of red beans and rice. All of the flavors were right on point reminded me of something I would get from my grandmothers kitchen, which is what I look for when I go to "New Orleans style" restaurants. My only gripe is for the red beans and rice. I ended up with a bowl full of rice and no red beans. Otherwise everything was great.
google avatar

J Penelope S.

Yelp
Every thing was delicious. The portions were so big we all had to have to go boxes. Louisiana is not stingy with the portions. Our waitress Katrina (ironic right!) was so attentive and friendly and gave us some other good places to try. This is definitely off the beaten path. I am so glad we visited the 9th Ward living museum. They featured this restaurant in a documentary. It is the only restaurant in the 9th Ward.... imagine that. This place should be included in tourism information, not just because the food is great, but to stimulate the economy in the area that is still struggling to recover 10 years post-Katrina.

Yelp
One of the few local restaurants I could find that serves their Réveillon Dinner after Christmas Day. We went on December 26th and had an amazing time! Even though there was only one waitress, she did a superb job of handling the customers. The food was so, so good and we loved the intimate feel; it was really a neighborhood restaurant! Lovely ambiance, delicious food, and A++ service. Will definitely return!
google avatar

Tricia R.

Yelp
There is plenty of street parking in the area. Nice, spacious location. Friendly service, fantastic food. Owner was very personable and nice. I would definitely suggest this place when visiting Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans, LA. We stopped by Friday afternoon for lunch. Our order included fried shrimp and brocolli, fried shrimp and spinach, stuffed shrimp & garlic mashed potatoes, grilled fish & spinach.
google avatar

Yelp
What a wonderful little hidden gem. The service was perfect and the food was spectacular! Hidden in the middle of a neighborhood, this place is something I would have never found just driving around. I had the fried stuffed peppers with gumbo and red beans, Ahhhmazing! Who's great idea was it to stuff a pepper with crab meat and shrimp and the deep fry it?! Genius I tell you! The portion was perfect, just enough for me to have lunch for tomorrow. I finished it off with their bread pudding (to go because I was so stuffed) which didn't let me down. Very reasonably priced but it's a good thing I don't live too close to here, I'd be broke and huge in no time! Must try if your in the area!!

Yelp
My family and I had brunch there on Saturday at 11a. We were a large party. We needed split checks, some of our party arrived late. The server, Rye (sp?), handled it without issue. The food was expedited timely and there were no issues with incorrect orders or under/prepared food. The crawfish chowder and lizardi rolls were great! They need a liquor license! Lol we did bring in bottles of champagne and they provided us with OJ and cranberry juice for mimosas and poinsettias without issue (or charge). Thank you for making my mom's day!

Yelp
Food was pretty good !! Service was GREAT!! No wait time we were seated when we walked through the door !! Definitely a Hidden Gem!!

Yelp
While visiting the birthplace of my grandparents my cousins brought me here to eat. The food and the service was great! I started off with the crab cakes and they were delicious and huge. They do have some filler but they were still tasty. I ordered the fried shrimp with red beans and rice and broccoli. The broccoli cook have been cooked longer but those shrimp were so fresh and the breading was fabulous! Red Beans & Rice were a great consistency but lacked any flavor, they were bland. Overall I recommend this spot and will return on my next visit. Met one of the owners and he was very welcoming and hospitable!

This is the best kept secret. The food is amazing! I would recommend this place to any one on earth. Family owned

Yelp
We found this place while out cycling and taking a tour of historical places celebrating Dr Martin Luther King. I must admit, that we were totally prepared for (and okay with) it being a dive. Well, it wasn't!! This place was super clean, classy, tasteful, almost too nice for all of us who had been cycling all day! We called ahead and there was a table of 9 waiting for us upon our arrival. Our server was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable, had some great recommendations, was friendly, efficient, and kept a smile the entire time! We all wanted separate checks and that was no problem! Probably the quickest split check situation is ever encountered! Food more tan exceeded my expectations! I split the Lizzardi Rolls with a fellow rider. They were fresh, fried to perfection, and served with a sauce that was equal parts sweet, tangy, and spicy! For an entree, I had the stuffed baked bell pepper - stuffed with shrimp, crab and ground beef. The entree came with a choice of two sides. I opted for red beans and rice and steamed broccoli. Everything was cooked just perfectly! Two in our party ordered fried catfish plates. I was lucky enough to snag a bite and, I have to say, that's what I will be getting next time! Light, flaky, tasty, just the right amount of batter. The entire staff was so delightful and accommodating! And insure wish I'd gotten our server's name. This is a place worth going out of your way for!
google avatar

Temisha Y.

Yelp
Wow.. this place is impressive! It's a true neighborhood restaurant. The food was delicious and service was top notch. You must try the stuffed bell pepper. This place has been added to one of my favorite places to dine in New Orleans.
google avatar

Jada E.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans! The atmosphere is romantic with jazz music playing and white tablecloths. My favorite entrée is the Red Fish Florentine. The fish is cooked to perfection, and the crawfish-spinach sauce they drizzle over the top is finger lickin good! I usually get the mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli as my sides. My fiancé usually gets the Shrimp Creole, and it never disappoints either! The shrimp are large and fresh, and the sauce is so good you'll sop it up with the garlic bread that comes with the dish. And dessert! Oh, the desserts! The bread pudding is heavenly, and the banana's foster cheesecake is so good you'll just want to give someone a high five after every bite! As you can see, I love this place. My fiancé brought me here before proposing to me in New Orleans. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is authentic, down-home, New Orleans Creole cuisine. Cafe Dauphine is definitely a must stop for anyone in New Orleans, locals and tourists a like!

Yelp
I recently stopped by Cafe Dauphine for lunch with co-workers. We ordered the shrimp po' boys and bacon cheeseburgers, respectively. Everything was piping hot and very freshly prepared. Portions were very healthy sized - nearly all of us took leftovers with us. Service was super friendly and accommodating. The space is freshly renovated and well lit, with lots of seating. We will definitely be back! Also, they have free wifi, which makes it a nice spot for casual business meetings.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was great and the service was fantastic. Melvin was so polite and attentive!

Yelp
Had the fried pepper roll and the oyster dinner, exquisite! Excellent service and ambience. Can't rave enough about this place. A must in NOLA
google avatar

Yelp
Great food. The cat fish was the freshest I've ever had. The creole shrimp wasn't bad either. But the bread pudding with the rum sauce, OMG!

Yelp

Yelp
This is easily one of the best restaurants in the City. I'm kind of bad at myself for not trying it sooner.

Yelp
I am ashamed to say I always use yelp and read the reviews but never have joined until now due to cafe dauphine !! One of the owners (Keisha ) was so welcoming and such a great host- she really took care of us! The food, service, and TLC makes this place highly recommended! Plus it is good to get out of the touristy areas and see and meet local ppl from different neighborhoods !
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant was a sweet surprise, from the outside I wasn't expecting much, but I 'm excited to say it turned out to be a treat. The service was impeccable and we wanted for nothing, our waitress was a beaitiful young lady with a short red afro and a smile that lit the room. The owners were wonderful as well, even taking the time to refer other eateries for us to visit and get a true taste NOLA culture. The food was great, we had the crab cakes with grilled fish and shrimp which we thoroughly enjoyed, so if you have the chance drop by and enjoy.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
Whenever we are in town, Cafe Dauphine will remain high on my list of places to eat. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu but I am especially fond of the stuffed peppers and the Redfish Florentine!
google avatar

Yolande P.

Yelp
This right here is heavenly! The crab stuffed fried fish was amazing!! Goodness in every bit.. so filling. We ordered the Lizardi rolls first and could be believe the freshness of the seafood. This little gem tucked in this neighborhood was a pleasure to find. Our waitress was Nika was outstanding! Ask for her
google avatar

Yelp
The look of this restaurant from the street is deceiving. These seating is very nice with white tablecloths and colorful walls. Wait staff was friendly and very attentive. We had the buffalo wings for s starter and the portion was great for a share and the tangy heat was delicious. For entrees we had the Redfish Florentine and the Fried Seafood Stuffed BellPepper. We both chose the house salad and loaded baked potatoes as our sides. The salad was beautiful and even included chopped boiled egg. The Redfish was delicious either crawfish included in the florentine cream sauce (super tasty). The bell pepper was good but I personally would not have chosen them fried but my husband made that choice just because we had never heard of a fried stuffed bell pepper (I think the batter masked some of the flavor. We ended our meal with the Bread Pudding. Even though we were full we took our time and finished the whole thing. We will be back.

Yelp
A local restaurant that gave great service and the incredible food. We live in bywater and some friends took us here. We will definitely be back. My wife got the steak that was perfectly cooked. Our friends got the catfish, and there niece got the grilled chicken. I orders the original stuffed bell pepper. Each entree was delicious. The catfish I tasted was one of the best I have had. Although this a little off the normal restauarant row near the French Quarter. I have found the hidden secrets are the best food in New Orleans. They are in the process of getting liquor license so call ahead we were able to bring our own wine. Great atmosphere, family owned and run restaurant, they know how to do New Orleans food right and the prices are about half of what you would pay in the quarter. They deliver to the Bywater, and surrounding areas up to around 5 miles. Just over the St. Claude bridge in holy cross neighborhood. The bread pudding was amazing as well. Local, Fresh and delicious. I dare you to try it. Support the local community and taste the amazing food, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
Was doing some work with LowerNine.Org and found this place on Yelp! Ended up bringing a friend with me for an early dinner. There weren't too many folks in at the time which was nice, also made service faster. The decor is clean and simple. Lots of dark wood! As for the food, everything we ordered was amazing... One of the girls in the LowerNine house recommended the Stuffed Bell Pepper (pleasantly surprised by the nontraditional flavors) and the Lizardi rolls, they were both great. For the main I had the stuffed shrimp and my friend had the grilled chicken pasta. We shared, and I fell deeper in love with this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent spot in the Lower 9th. I saw lots of take out boxed, all the times I was there, but we dine in. The red fish is always fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
Ate at Cafe Dauphine today and I found the best crab cake. The outer coating is crisply and no oil is allowed to seep inside to mess up the lump crab meat. This is one of my best fried crab cakes ever. The service is very good too. It really made our day....

Yelp
This place is a hidden treasure! My family enjoyed everything we ordered; grilled shrimp salad, grilled shrimp pasta, bell peppers, loaded, potatoes, red beans(very creamy), chicken wings and French fries. My husband and children was very satisfied, as well. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. We will definitely be back again
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent food and great service. We were staying in Arabi for the holidays and were pleased to fine such a great place close by. Kids were happy with their meals too. FYI - it's BYOB so if you want wine with your meal bring some along. The Lizardi rolls were amazing. Stuffed shrimp was delectable. Pepper Shrimp was perfectly spiced. My husband had the fried stuffed pepper and loved it!
google avatar

Darla N.

Yelp
Our waitress was 5 star! She made great recommendations and thanks to yelpers I knew she was spot on. The food was delicious and while most was traditional southern like fried fish, shrimp, étouffée others had a different spin-of course, the fried stuffed bell peppers and lazardi rolls. We were curious about the spicy shrimp sauce so our waitress was kind enough to let us sample. This is definitely on our "to do again" list. The atmosphere was casual and cozy with tons of architecture details. It's definitely off the beaten path of the touristy places but it's worth the effort.
google avatar

Jenn O.

Yelp
This is the best fish I have had since I've moved to New Orleans. I live in Arabi so it's in a super convenient spot on my way home in Holy Cross. I got a catfish poboy and it was about 12 in long, so great for sharing. It came with French fries and was only $15! You have got to try this place.

Brenten J.

Yelp
Such great food and friendly service. I would recommend the Cajun egg rolls and the fried stuffed peppers!

Yelp
I visited Cafe Dauphine, after church, for Sunday Brunch. We sat at the bar, while waiting on a table and noticed how dirty/dusty the glasses were. Although the coffee was watery, the food was tasty; however, the service left a lot to be desired. Our server brought out our food, one plate at a time. It was only two people at out table and nothing was special order or too difficult to cook. Then while the 2nd person was finishing, instead of coming to the table to offer desserts, they offered the check. Additionally, the place was exceptionally loud with a group of ladies. It was a distraction, but I imagine it was something that the staff couldn't control.

Yelp
Pretty good! Great atmosphere, nice decor. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and the service was quick and friendly. The food was pretty good but the Lizardi Rolls were fantastic!

Yelp
I'm giving them Five Stars due to the fact that they made us felt like neighbors. Yet, if your not accustomed to a different kind demeanor first encounter then you could be put off but we like to give every place a second chance. On our second visit, it was like a 180 turn with the attention and adoration. I guess they thought we were just visitors and that the won't ever see us again. Now, we are just like really good friends. We go there at least once a week. Especially for Lent. Please continue what your doing because we love to come dine with y'all.

Yelp
Cafe Dauphine is definitely a hidden gem! If you're ever in the 9th Ward, please check them out. The stuffed shrimp is incredible and the customer service is even better!

Yelp
Ok the food was excellent. I had shrimp creole and a half shrimp and half fish Po Boy sandwich. Why the 4 stars? The service was beyond slow. And they forgot my sandwich. Was there for almost an hour with 40 of those minutes looking around for my server.

Yelp
Rub my belly and tuck me in. Simple yet satisfying. I had the wings for an appetizer. I heard the sizzle from the kitchen and my mouth starting watering. The wings were perfectly coated and flavorful. For my entree I had the catfish poboy dressed. The fish was well seasoned and fried to perfection. The sweet tea with lemon was strong and sweet. The service from entering to exciting was impeccable. It's BYOB so I will be dining here again with my own dranks.
