Where to find the best Filipino food in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Cafe de Manila is a friendly Filipino spot that offers weekday lunch specials, all-day karaoke, and, occasionally, local artist performances in a bright, cozy atmosphere. Located in Flamingo Village Plaza, the shop offers venue services for any occasion, whether it be a graduation party or corporate event. It also offers a generous selection of catering services. Take advantage of Cafe de Manila’s all-day breakfasts to feast day or night on their hearty longsilog—a marriage of sweet longaniza, eggs, and garlic rice." - Bryan A'Hearn

Cafe de Manila Now Serving Filipino Favorites From ‘Back Home’ - Eater Vegas

"Cafe de Manila hopes its new menu of Filipino favorites will revive customer memories of dining 'back home.' The casual restaurant replaces the shuttered, former home of KoMex Fusion in Spring Valley, located next door to Off The Hook Fish & Chips and close to the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Flamingo Road. Beginning with its all-day, $8.99 breakfast menu, the value-priced menu includes $8.99 portions of tapsilog, longsilog, and spamsilog for breakfast, and lunch specials arrive with rice, soup, and a choice of two items, such as chicken adobo, beef kaldereta, and veggie eggrolls. Street food snacks of pork isaw, fishball, and kwek-kwek join a collection of heartier entrees featuring seafood, pork, chicken, beef, noodles, and vegetables, including 'chop suey with quail eggs,' adobong pusit, and a large portion of crispy pata pork leg. The cafe is also scheduling live musical entertainment on select evenings. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and closing at 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday." - Bradley Martin

Different Filipino restaurants make their chicken adobo a little different, but this type is our favorite. It's got the thicker sauce, and the very powerful flavors that are good enough to pour all over your rice. 🔥 And bruh, that halo-halo has ice, but I'm telling y'all, it's fire. 😁🔥🔥🔥

Google
Gave them another try, and service was ok. They were occupied with a meeting with a group. We had the lechon kawali and pork adobo. The pork adobo was horrible. We didn't even eat it. It tasted like soy sauce but at the same time no other flavor. No acidity or bay leaf. The lechon was actually perfect. We ordered it extra crispy. We asked for vinegar, too, and it was yummy. Overall, I'd return again but need to taste other dishes.

First timers here. I was greeted by Rockie who was very attentive and friendly. Each dish was presented with a good portion, well plated and the flavor was spot on. Sooooo SO delicious!! Dhey was also one of our servers. Rockie and Dhey made this experience a wonderful one. My family and I will come back again forsure!

2023Jun22,Thu: If you’re craving for some delicious home cooked authentic tic Filipino dishes - look no further and head on straight to “Cafe De Manila”. They have a wide array of dishes to choose from and the one’s we ordered were all delicious, flavorful and freshly cooked to order. The place is very clean, beautifully decorated for a “sit down” restaurant. We were immediately given a warm greeting and welcome from “Ate Jean”. She is a very gracious hostess with a customer service that exceeds expectations. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely return and try other dishes.

Google
I never leave bad reviews, but me and my girlfriend were really looking forward to trying the tinolang manok at Café de Manila. When we walked in, nobody greeted us or even acknowledged we were there. I stood there waiting for a while, but still nothing — not even eye contact from the woman working the front. It felt like we weren’t welcome, so we just left. Disappointing experience, especially since we came in excited to support a Filipino spot. Hope the customer service improves.

Google
The best Filipino food I have ever had in Las Vegas. It's really good! And the people serving us were very friendly.

Google
We spend $122.00 None of the food is good unlike before they just open up. The sinigang na Bangus was cook with the whole tail and scales not cleaned, sisig no flavor no liver, it says on menu sisig kapampangan, i am kapampangan that is not how kapampangan cook sisig, dinuguan no taste of vinegar no flavor doesn’t taste like pork doesn’t look like pork was cut into very tiny pieces, we went to their store next door, we bought fried dried pusit it was too hard and taste rutten taste very bitter just throw it, i am not going back there ever again, I’ve been there few times, but totally different now, People please don’t go there it’s a waste of money.

We are totally amazed by the Filipino Cuisine. Sinigang na Pampano,Beef and Sisig . Chicharong Bulaklak and the dessert my ... they are really good. JEAN welcome us me and my wife and she did a real excellent job.

Yelp
After a good hike, we were hungry and excited to try a new Filipino restaurant. The staff were nice and quickly sat us. We stated with lumpia. It came with two dips that were good but the lumpia was too crispy hard and seemed almost burnt. Joel loves kare kare but the meat was tough and lacked flavor without much peanut butter sauce. I ordered a breakfast plate with garlic rice, longanisa, and eggs. The rice was really sticky and hard but had good flavor. The longanisa was tough and seemed recooked and old. We didn't finish our halo halo desert. There was stale rice crispys or cereal on top. The was zero flavor outside of the taro ice cream on top. The best thing I can say is that it looked pretty with an umbrella topper. There was a party later that day they were setting up for so we wondered if the food we had was leftovers or had sat out before being served. Maybe on a day with no parties the food would be fresher.

Yelp
Ms. Jean was very warm and accommodating with her Filipino hospitality. She entertained us as we devour our sumptuous lunch. A truly unforgettable experience!

Yelp
If you are looking for a place to party and have amazing food, Jean and Cafe de Manila is the place to go! Being from Missouri, Jean made planning my dad's surprise birthday party in Vegas so easy! She is very communicative and knowledgeable but more than anything, she knows how to keep the party rockin! She did dances with our guests and did a great job encouraging people to participate in games and getting out on the dance floor. Last but not least, the food is so good! Very authentic Filipino food. We had an all you can eat buffet. Our Filipino guests we very impressed and very satisfied. Thank you Cafe de Manila for making our party a memorable one!

Yelp
Service was very slow, BUT the food was yummy and the service was very friendly! When our party arrived, we seated ourselves and waited a few minutes before someone greeted us, albeit they were very friendly. It took at least 20 minutes to close out the check and get boxes for our leftovers.

Yelp
Super nice restaurant! I'm literally laughing at the two "negative" reviews below. When I walked in, you can tell that the workers take pride in the restaurant. It was clean, organized, welcoming and best of all, the service was on point. I had several of their silog breakfast items and they didn't disappoint. The sisg was also very good. It was chopped just right and you can taste all of the flavors. What I also like about this place is the location. There's plenty of parking and it's in the nice part of town. I can't wait to go back now. Thank you!

Kate B.

Yelp
Delicious Filipino food, clean&bright atmosphere inside. I loved their HaloHalo in umbrella, nilagang baka, tokwa at baboy, lumipat Shanghai. Etc.

Yelp
Food looked like it was sitting for a bit. Not many choices. It was about 1pm. Maybe the lunch crowd ate it all. Also, the map brings you to the wrong building...

Yelp
Super yummy food! It was so good I didn't get to take a picture of everything we ordered. The crunchy pusit, dinuguan, and pancit was GREAT! I especially enjoyed the bistek kapampangan. Cooked true to the region. Service was also good. Price point is a bit high for the food portion, but all worth it.

Yelp
On December 9th, 2023, my twin brother and I patronized Cafe De Manila, located at Flamingo Village Plaza on Buffalo Drive, to indulge in authentic Filipino cuisine. However, our experience was unsatisfactory as we encountered unsanitary and unpleasant conditions. While we were dining, we observed multiple cockroaches scurrying under our table. Initially, we assumed it was an isolated incident, but we found more cockroaches on the walls and the washroom after a closer inspection. This caused disgust and went against the health and safety regulations earmarked for customers. The presence of cockroaches in a restaurant indicates an infestation, which implies that the management is not undertaking adequate measures to control pests and scrutinize the premises. This is a gross sanitary code violation and poses a significant health risk to customers. Cockroaches harbor several pathogens and diseases that can effortlessly transmit to humans. This situation violates the health department regulations of Nevada State. It is imperative to address this issue immediately, and the restaurant should undertake a comprehensive pest control regimen and inspections to prevent a recurrence. Based on our experience, we would not recommend others to patronize this establishment due to the presence of cockroaches in the dining area and washrooms. Consuming food in such an environment can lead to contamination, making it unsafe. The restaurant's management should take prompt and effective measures to rectify this issue in the interest of public health and safety. Engaging professional pest control services to eliminate the infestation and taking necessary steps to prevent future infestations is recommended. The restaurant should also conduct regular inspections to ensure the premises remain clean and hygienic. In conclusion, the presence of cockroaches in Cafe De Manila poses a severe health hazard, and the management should take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of their customers. Addressing this issue is crucial to avoid jeopardizing the lives of customers.

Yelp
Jean was our server and was great. Very personable and was very pleasant. First time eating in a Filipino restaurant and the food was delicious. Make sure to get the garlic rice.

Yelp
Thank you Ate Jean for an amazing breakfast! Fast service & great food! Not only were we served almost immediately, we definitely got some entertainment as well! Definitely will need to come back for lunch or dinner to try their other specialties. Even though we had breakfast, we still had their halo halo and you won't regret it! If you're craving Filipino, this is the place to go!

Yelp
Located in The Famingo plaza, along with other eateries such as another Filipino restaurant (Pampanga) and an AYCE sushi place, and other businesses. Came here on a Saturday afternoon, for lunch with my family. My dad was in town visiting and wanted good authentic Filipino food, so hubby looked this place up online. Upon entering, we were Immediately warmly greeted and seated by Jean. It was our first time there so of course I had to check the reviews on Yelp, since hubby didn't tell me where we were going and only looked this place up online. ;) There weren't many reviews on Yelp and some weren't good, so I wasn't impressed. The place was not crowded at all, and some workers were busy setting up for an event held later in the day. I was a little skeptical given the Yelp reviews and because we were the only party dining in, but the phone kept ringing with people ordering for take out. We ended up ordering dinuguan, bangus belly sinigang, longsilog, hot dogs, and a side of rice with Kikiam and fish balls for appetizers. For drinks we had calamansi juice and coconut juice, along with water all around. Everything tasted awesome! The sinigang soup was very flavorful with the sweet and sour taste- just the way I like it. My dad agreed and he's really picky when it comes to soup. Customer service from Jean was great! She was really attentive and chatty with us from the time we stepped in, until we left. She was also patient with us when we were trying to figure out what to order and recommended a few dishes, as well as answered questions, as the menu prices increased a little, and some appetizers were unclear as to how many pieces came with the order. Will definitely be back and recommend this place to friends and family.

Yelp
Hi, Im writing a review for my family who came down with a stomach bug. The place was very unsanitary, I saw a cockaroach climed on one of my baby sisters car seats. The service took very long, and the employees were not approachable, and when my food arrived most of the food was cold. This place only had one server which made the wait up to 20-30 minutes. I recommend hiring more staff to help your customers. Also, the halo halo looked nothing like it did on the pictures. It was missing alot of ingredients. When I looked at our pictures the owner had took I saw the kitchen, it had multiple trash bags that were piled up, when we went to the bathroom to wash our hands, it was very unsanitary and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Please don't waste your car gas and go to some place else, this place will upset your stomach like it did to my family.

Yelp
1st time having Filipino food and it was very tasty'! Everything was super tasty and vibrant with veggies and color. Staff was friendly and helped us with the menu. The shrimp was one of my favorites and the beef with the big pieces of onions. The adobo beef was great too!

Yelp
Very welcoming atmosphere. Feels like home. Food is great. Try their Halo-halo. It is very delicious! be back here for sure soon!

Yelp
The place is not clean and may contain parasites. As soon as the door opens, the smell of roaches and flaky dirt will hit your sensors right after the entrance. A clear sign of disrespect to people who wants to justify our true and best food in the planet. Please close your place if it is dirty, period!!

Yelp
The foods we selected from the menu for our private birthday party yesterday, March 26 was pre-ordered 2 days before. All our visitors complimented positively to all the foods eaten as very delicious, flavored well, not salty and not sweet especially the specially ordered birthday cake. There is a special person we would like to be grateful and thankful for all her dedicated service from the time our group assembled. She was multi tasking person who started getting our drinks with a choice for happiness or longevity. Then, she started her emcee job with introduction of where our guest came from different parts of USA. She introduced our member who did the invocation prayers. Then, our specially ordered foods were served on time enough for all of us. After our luncheon, she started our group karaoke and shortly later our lane dancing as a group. And besides leading to social dancing, she then took the hat of a photographer. What a multi tasking individual this JEAN is. Cheers from all members of our group that made our party very memorable, joyful and full of fun. Thank you, thank you, Jean. From Dr & Mrs Gerry Guzman Gigi and Gerry Guzman FEU-LVF 2023

Yelp
Great Filipino food and ambiance. Price is slightly lower than most and service is great!

Yelp
The food and service here is amazing. My family threw a party here and it turned out great.

Yelp
Celebrated my wife's birthday here and we had a lot of fun. Jean was very hospitable and entertaining. Food was great and has a very reasonable price. We will come back here for sure.

Yelp
just had lunch for the first time with our group of 20, delicious Filipino food, love their pancit, kare-kare, boneless fried bangus, pinakbet, caldereta and for dessert we have turon. The server, Jean was very friendly, entertaining and funny. Highly recommended if you are graving for authentic Filipino food.

Yelp
My Mom wanted some Filipino food while visiting Las Vegas. I found this place just 10 minutes away from Palms Casino and Resort where we stayed at. Jean greeted us with great hospitality and told us about their specialties. We ordered a couple of street foods and traditional Filipino dishes. Street Food: Hotdog on a stick: Typical grilled hotdog in a stick served with ketchup as dipping sauce. If you were raised in the Philippines. This kind of street food will bring up a lot of childhood memories as for this is normally one of the staples in any childrens party you attend. Pork Isaw: As someone who grew up in the Philippines. My standard with street food/delicacy is very high. This place did not disappoint! I loved how they seasoned their pork intestines. Definitely a must when visiting this establishment. Makati Pusilog: This is new to me as for I am only familiar with the 3 silogs. Tapa, Tocino and Longanisa. Their Makati pusilog consists of dried squid and egg served with steamed rice. I can't express enough my love for dried squid. Especially dipping it with spiced vinegar. Caldereta: This restaurants version captured that exact Filipino style/flavor. Overall, this is a great place to go to if you are craving authentic Flipino food. You will definitetly get that very welcoming Filipino hospitality ambiance as soon as you go in. Highly recommend if you are ever is Las Vegas!

Yelp
Cafe De Manila is top tier! If I could give them 10 starts I would!!! We ate the following & I recommend all!!! Pancit canton/bihon guisado Adobo fried rice Garlic rice Pork adobo Pinakbet Lumpiang shanghai Halohalo As we waited for our takeout, we were encouraged to sing karaoke! It was so much fun. The customer service is spectacular & the ambiance is great. Huge thank you to Aunty Jean for being so welcoming & kind. And for recommending the Halohalo!!! We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Absolutely stellar service. Jean was an amazing hostess and MC, helping to guide our dish choices when we were indecisive and keeping us entertained while the food was being prepared. The restaurant was clean and decorated enough to keep every glance fresh with new distractions. The food was absolutely lovely. The kare-kare, chop suey and crispy pata were excellent and I would absolutely order them again. These previous dishes were outshone by the absolutely delicious Sinigang Baboy. I'd come back for this soup alone. Tart, clean and crisp. Lastly the Halo-Halo was a special treat. My guests were overcome with nostalgia at the inclusion of pinipig in this dish, which they hadn't seen used in Halo-halo since their days in the Philippines. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into this restaurant.
google avatar

Jett M.

Yelp
The food is just amazing. The crispy pata is a killer with the 2 sauces. The pork sinigang is so savory. Overall, there's no words I can describe this place except it's home. The staff is super friendly which makes this place extraordinary. You just have to try it and you'll see. Just don't forget to thank me later.

Yelp
Meh, unfortunately the food was not good. We wanted filipino food and this restaurant was the closest to us. Looks like they have karaoke nights. We were told that their menu was limited due to Covid. Perfectly fine so we looked at what we thought we'd like. Tupac ordered the Kare Kare and I had the Tokwa't Baboy. The tofu and meat was extremely hard and lacked flavor. I was hoping it had vinegar mixed in it. The kare kare was also just alright. My BF usually loves kare kare but in this case he said it was just OK. Overall, I'd return again and order something else. It was probably just an off day/dish. Hoping to stop by when they have Karaoke.
google avatar

CJ J.

Yelp
Ordered combo chicken adobo & lechon kawali. Lechon was very hard to chew and over cooked, the look of it, it was refried. The chicken adobo was very bland & oily, all I could taste was the oil. The kare kare was ok.

Christopher B.

Yelp
Food is great. Friendly and Happy staff. I cook but this restaurant serves authentic Filipino cuisine. Great job !!! Our balae treat us here and she really is right. I highly recommend it. I hope that they will not change. Maintain the quality and taste. Just wow !!! Miss Jean really gave us exceptional service from the beginning. She accommodates us and explained everything. She makes sure we are ok for the rest of our stay in the restaurant. She makes us feel at home. Great job Jean !! And to the cook credits to all of you !!! Mabuhay !!!

Yelp
Food was good, but service was atrociously slow. 34min for corned beef & rice, and lumpia Shanghai.

Yelp
We had our 50th UST High School reunion here on May 13,2022. The venue was great, reasonably priced, and was able to accommodate over 60 people. We had a DJ which they recommended, played a nice selection of music for us The manager, Jean, was very attentive to our needs. She had a lot of initiative, led a few of our line dances and was a terrific dancer. On top of that, she took a ton of pictures, which I was unable to capture since I was super busy co-emceeing the get together. Then in the end, she even gave us the leftovers in to go containers. What a terrific night. I highly recommend Cafe de Manila for its food, ambience, and wonderful staff. Would give them 5 stars out of 5. You can't go wrong.

Grace L.

Yelp
Great food! There's so many menu items I love here - the sisig is amazing and the bulalo soup is so tasty! I can keep going with my list.... Love this place!

Schan S.

Yelp
My friend and I visited for lunch for the first time. Overall, most of the food was tasty. Our hostess was very friendly and she was only one person who waited tables, handled check payment, and take out containers. Somehow it was busy enough on a Tuesday afternoon (1-2 pm) and we needed to leave for school pick up. I don't know if they were short on help, or this is how their lunch time hours typically operate. Just know that service will be slow and allow enough time for your meal. 1. lumpia shanghai: thinly wrapped, crispy, light, fried egg roll appetizer 2. crispy pata: fried pork leg, deliciously fatty and goes well with white rice & dipping sauce 3. daing na bangus: fried milkfish that has been marinated in vinegar and spices, it was delicious and I love bangus (a little sour, salty, crispy and goes well with calamansi/patis dipping sauce) 4. pancit palabok: this noodle dish was a complete miss. very bland, lacked flavor, and the sauce over the noodles was too watery. Ours was skimpy on all toppings (hardly any pork in the sauce, no green onions, no shrimps, and a few slices of egg). I'm a huge palabok fan and I would not order this again.

Yelp
Location: Westside- Buffalo and Flamingo Parking: Plenty of available spaces Food: Let's start with the most important part of Filipino food, rice. They charged $.99 per cup. I don't understand why Filipino restaurants always do so. Why can't it be included with an entree, do charge when ordering rice only, or charge once? And some parts of the rice served was undercooked. We've ordered initially Bulalo and Sisig. After so many minutes, the server informed us that they do not have the ingredients for Bulalo. Why didn't the chef or the server know this prior to opening time? Supposedly the taste of the items was outstanding since the chef came from a famous restaurant that closed down in Henderson. Unfortunately, there was nothing to rave upon. Service: It was adequate however I've noticed that servers paid extra attention to customers that the "owners" were familiar with.

Yelp
Customer service was good but we need food too. Ordered the LECHON PAKSIW togo and was so disappointed. It was all bones and however little meat attached to the bones were pretty tough unbelievable!!!! . I called and the server said they will make up for next time but they don't do refunds nor reorder to replace and told me ti just come back next time. Wow! So 'better luck next time???' I've been a regular customer for a while but the quality of the food and serving portion's getting below par... and yesterday was the last straw! Not coming back there again. Good luck serving bones!!!!

Yelp
Cafe De Manila is one of the few Authentic Filipino restaurants in Las Vegas area. Home cooking at its best, tagalog and ka pampangan recipes. Also, did I say excellent services.

Yelp
Great food & customer service. It felt like I was back home in Hawaii ! Big thanks to aunty Jean who was so welcoming once we came through the door. We will be back!

Yelp
1st time here. Jean greeted us with a friendly manner and her welcoming is quite warm. The food taste good, though it didn't taste as fresh. It tasted as it was just warmed up from previous days cooking. We had kare-kare and beef noddle mami.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Ambiance is pleasant and soothing. Well recommended. Music, lighting and overall cleanliness is outstanding.

Yelp
Was craving Filipino breakfast and ordered tocilog. The garlic in the garlic fried rice was barely noticeable, and my eggs were over cooked (waitress didn't ask how I wanted them)...I'm sorry to say that the service was poor. She never came back to check on us, I guess she got busy with her other table, a larger party of 8-10 people, so it took forever to get the check. Then when the check finally came, she hovered over the table while I was writing in the tip- not cool. Pretty disappointed with this experience as an out of town guest.. you're better off trying the other spots in the plaza.

Yelp
Food is superb, service is good and the place is clean. We portions are good enough, crispy pata was really crispy. This was the first time we ate and pretty impressive.

Yelp
This is the Best Filipino Restaurant I've ever tried in vegas! the food was really authentic! We had crispy pata and crispy binagoongan for lunch! The staff are very kind, friendly and accommodating especially to Miss jean, She made our day one we will never forget, Jean is truly a credit to this business. I really appreciate her effort- she's the Best!

Yelp
The owner took great care of me & my cousins when we came in to order our food to go. Food was delicious, we just didn't like how expensive the silogs were. But also, the portions were a bit small for the price we paid: lumpia Shanghai was $8 and literally cut into 1/3's, not worth it. The silogs only came with 2 slices of spam and two longonisas, which was disappointing. Halo halo was good though.

Paz K.

Yelp
Great food, friendly staff Highly recommended to my friends and family.Wish they had a branch in Northern Cal
