Yelp
Located in The Famingo plaza, along with other eateries such as another Filipino restaurant (Pampanga) and an AYCE sushi place, and other businesses.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon, for lunch with my family. My dad was in town visiting and wanted good authentic Filipino food, so hubby looked this place up online. Upon entering, we were Immediately warmly greeted and seated by Jean. It was our first time there so of course I had to check the reviews on Yelp, since hubby didn't tell me where we were going and only looked this place up online. ;) There weren't many reviews on Yelp and some weren't good, so I wasn't impressed.
The place was not crowded at all, and some workers were busy setting up for an event held later in the day. I was a little skeptical given the Yelp reviews and because we were the only party dining in, but the phone kept ringing with people ordering for take out.
We ended up ordering dinuguan, bangus belly sinigang, longsilog, hot dogs, and a side of rice with Kikiam and fish balls for appetizers. For drinks we had calamansi juice and coconut juice, along with water all around. Everything tasted awesome! The sinigang soup was very flavorful with the sweet and sour taste- just the way I like it. My dad agreed and he's really picky when it comes to soup.
Customer service from Jean was great! She was really attentive and chatty with us from the time we stepped in, until we left. She was also patient with us when we were trying to figure out what to order and recommended a few dishes, as well as answered questions, as the menu prices increased a little, and some appetizers were unclear as to how many pieces came with the order. Will definitely be back and recommend this place to friends and family.
