First time in New York and this was the first place I hit to get some breakfast! The service, the food, and the atmosphere is phenomenal!! Renee was our server and treated us with the best hospitality. Also had the opportunity to meet the owner who is extremely hospitable with a very welcoming smile! Loved everything about this experience and WILL be back next time I am visiting New York!

Google
What a lovely dining experience! From the moment we walked in, everything—from the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful service—was spot on. My friend and I made the trip from NYC just to try the burger (which totally lived up to the hype!), and we were so excited to find incredible gluten-free desserts and Caffe Panna ice cream on the menu. Other highlights included the pesto pasta dish & truffle pasta. Such a gem—can’t wait to come back!

Google
Ducked for a quick drink and dessert. Jorge crafted two impeccable cocktails. He hand muddled the raspberries for my Crimson and Clover. Gin Summer of Saints was perfectly balanced. Vanilla cheesecake with Luxardo cherries was luxurious. Great lace for a quick drink or extended meal. Roll out the door to the Harrison Metro North Station. Highly recommended.

Google
Really don’t get the hype. Went for a bday brunch and everything was overpriced and lackluster. Got steak & eggs and 3 burgers medium rare and everything came out well done. They remade the steak and it came out cold and nearly raw. The steak tasted gamey and low quality (it also was riddled with the taste of burnt oil) , and had no sear; which, for 46$ it is a complete scam. Everything was under-seasoned and lacked flavor, even the drinks. Service was alright and the dessert was great.

Google
Good food, good cozy place. We really enjoyed it the first time we visited. Second time we tried to go they didn’t let us in with a service dog, it was very unfortunate since we wanted to have breakfast to begin the Mother’s Day celebration. They do have a sign that accept service animals but the manager mention they had some kind of issue with health department. We ended up going to other restaurant where they respected the service animal policy.

Google
Really amazing brunch spot, one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had! We stopped by last minute for a brunch with the family and they were able to accommodate a party of 4 on a Sunday. Service was super attentive but the star of the show had to be the coffee and omelette we had. Would absolutely return to try other items on the menu!

Google
this place is really one of a kind. best food, best coffee, best service and definitely best atmosphere. also let me just mention: emily is the best barista around!! phenomenal service and her coffee skills are supreme. pleaseee visit this place if you haven't already, you won't regret it!!

Google
Cafe Deux is my go to for brunch with my friends on the weekend. The oat milk iced lattes are a perfect start and the quiche Lorraine might be the most perfect egg dish ever. Having celiac disease and being gluten free, Cafe Deux has plenty of options (including a DEDICATED FRYER for their amazing fries). Recently, I catered a friend's 50th birthday brunch from them and everyone couldn't stop talking about the food. They also have an on sight bakery, and the gluten free raspberry and lemon cake was the perfect sweet treat to end the party!

Yelp
I just enjoyed the best French toast I've ever had! A must at Cafe Deux!!Their coffee is amazing too!

Yelp
Not what I was expecting at all but very quaint and cute spot in Westchester! The food was really good and there was a lot of unique options. They also had tons of GF and veggie options. They also serve cafe panna The service felt a little lazy, granted it was a random Tuesday morning but we had to flag them down a few times. The restaurant itself is very small. I would recommend for a brunch or lunch, but also curious to try their dinner

Yelp
The French sisters who opened Café Deux on Halstead Ave. in Harrison give their layback space French flair and elegance. The mini white dog bone basketweave floor tiles, add to the charm. But best of all, is the lighting that's both warm and hugs you in. I'd read about Deux in my Westchester Magazine about a year ago- so I waited for the right time to sit and lounge for breakfast. The quality did not disappoint. Instantly, their 'Soft Scrambled Eggs' with Gruyère, Tarragon and Chives from their menu called me. What I received was an omelette. Not complaining. Their omelette is golden yellow, buttery, soft, almost custardy throughout. I mean- the thing was just luxurious. Their hot cocoa is subtle and was a nice addition to my breakfast. I also ordered their Farmer's Vegetarian Quiche with Mushrooms(fresh by the way), Spinach and Gruyère to go which I ate the following afternoon. Fantastic. Except, the lines of communication crossed between my server and the kitchen and what they understood was that I wanted all my items to go. Why would I sit and get comfortable? Somehow, my server mentioned that if someone is dining in and order a to-go item, everything is packaged in to-go containers. What the ....? Unheard of. So right then and there as I sat in this delightful café, I emptied my omelette from the container and place it on my plate. Do take note though. I really don't mind returning because both my items were richly made. Plus, their version of chocolate truffles had wonderful pops of ooze in the middle. I'd gotten a coconut+lime, salted caramel and raspberry that were silky smooth and dark chocolatey.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go for brunch! I am somewhat of an eggs Benedict connoisseur so I have yet to find my favorite eggs Benedict around here but it's not bad by any means, just not yet the perfect hollandaise for me. My favorite thing to get is the scrambled eggs and sourdough because the eggs are made absolutely perfectly. The dutch baby is also a great thing to share! I will say that there is limited seating as it's a small place but it is very cute.

Yelp
The ambiance of this restaurant is lovely - love the vibe, love the decor, love the feel. Staff is very friendly. Their water filtration system is out of this world. We have never tasted such delicious dispensed sparkling water before - so delicious in fact, that we looked up the brand to see if we could have it at home! The food is very good. We've been a number of times for brunch/lunch and only recently went for dinner. It's on the expensive side, so it isn't a normal stop for us, unfortunately. We are big fans of Cafe Deux and would love to eat there more often, but it's a bit cost prohibitive when you order Tuna Nicoise and Steak Frites (and nothing else) and dinner is over $100.

Yelp
Absolutely divine. The truffle tagliatelle was genuinely life changing, luxuriously creamy but not too rich with phenomenal truffle flavor. The tuna shashimi noodles were another WOW! Perfect balance of salty, umami, acid, and creaminess. Definitely a dish I havent seen on a menu anywhere else. I'm not a huge ice cream fan but tried a bite of my friend's vanilla ice cream from her fondant au chocolate. It tasted like a gooey marshmallow with some awesome authentic vanilla notes and paired nicely with the chocolate cake. It totally changed my opinion on ice cream!! The apple crumble is also AMAZING! A lovely brown sugar flavor shines through and compliments the apple really nicely. I could not get enough of its gooey and also crunchy texture! Overall, the intention and thoughtfulness behind every recipe all made from high quality ingredients was so apparent. I adored the elegant ambiance and chic style of this restaurant. I went for dinner so it was low lighting and SEXY. Service was also very friendly and personable! I cannot recommend this place enough for a date night or a cutesy spot to catch up with friends. Def a spot to hit every time im on my way to NYC.

Yelp
Have continuously heard about this place through a foodie Facebook group & I was not disappointed! The atmosphere is super nice & good for a date night or just enjoying good food by yourself or with friends. The staff is super attentive and do their jobs well- drinks were great & had a sort of craft/artisan feel to them. The food was phenomenal- not a single complaint or critique to give. Loved that the menu was clearly labeled gf/v & that they were accommodating. On the way out I noticed the gf mini cupcakes and couldn't resist- I was pleasantly surprised to see them & they were delicious as well

Yelp
The cutest cafe around! The food was great and everyone was super friendly here! I got the Norwegian eggs Benedict which was awesome! My friend had the salmon bowl which he said was delicious, and my fiancée had the regular eggs Benedict which was great as well! Not a single bad bite in this place!

Yelp
What a surprising delight! We dined at Cafe Deux for their brunch service and it did not disappoint. Everything was tasty and well-presented. The service can be on the slower side but sometimes there's no need to be in a rush. We're definitely excited to try their dinner service next.

Yelp
A brand new French style cafe in Harrison. Café Deux is an all-day café serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and an inviting environment are key to restaurant service. This stylish French-American restaurant, bar, and chocolaterie, is located on the main street in Harrison, NY, close to the Metro North Train station. Tying together classic French decor details with a modern industrial flare, one can experience an intimate dining experience with vibrant local and seasonal menu items, a thoughtful wine list, and modern craft cocktails. The menu is inspired by traditional French and reimagined American comfort food. And the chocolates are made onsite?

Yelp
I have only been here for drinks twice, but I am dying to go back because the food looks soooo good. This is definitely a very fun and different spot when you are looking for a fun/casual night out. I posted a picture of a punk in martini which to good and strong. Definitely excited to come here for dinner one night soon!

Yelp
I had brunch here the other day and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They have delicious pastries and their food is next level delicious. The vibe is relaxed and just a great place to stop for food and coffee. Our server was very kind and informed us of some of their delicious pastries that we ended up bringing home a box full of. 10/10

Yelp
I love French food but I also love Caffe Panna, so when I found out this place was serving both, naturally had to try! Since it was our first time here, we had to try the escargot and the cocktails. For our main entrees we got the Deux burger and tuna Niçoise salad. The side of fries hit so good! Of course when it came to dessert I needed a scoop of Caffe Panna's cookies and cream. Will definitely be back again, but for brunch!

Yelp
Such a great place to grab a beautifully prepared French bistro food. Everything is perfect, from the complimentary sparkling water, to the temperature the food arrives at your table. Especially if you have celiac disease or are gluten free- so safe, so many options, easy to make adaptations, and the staff are awesome!

Yelp
Three of us came here for dinner last week and loved the ambience. The food was great, but the service really tarnished what could have been a great experience...and, it was just our server - everyone else in there was lovely! We had the salmon, the burger, and the mushroom tagliatelle and were all happy with our choices. Unfortunately, I asked for a fresh bun as they slathered my burger in aioli when I had for it plain. Not a big deal but the server whips out her order pad, seeming to find out who made the mistake. She never came to check in how everything was, we had to ask for more water, didn't ask about a second glass of wine, etc. She was just totally aloof. I'd go back and give it another shot - I feel like this could be a hidden gem! Service has the power to make or break a meal...I'd love to see them get this wrinkle ironed out.

Yelp
The place has a lot of style and they try very hard to please. The brunch food was unique and well prepared. The prices are on the high side because they are using better ingredients. The French toast was delicious and the braised bacon meaty and thick, not pork belly, bacon. The eggs Benedict well presented and very tasty. The bloody mary was perfect. We will return to try other things. An onion soup would be a nice addition to the menu.

Yelp
Great local spot with a nice menu and fantastic drinks. Our bartender, Peter, was amazing...very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and makes a killer espresso martini Will be back, thanks to Peter

Yelp
Other than the fact that the food and coffee are phenomenal, my favorite thing about this place is that we can have a beautiful breakfast and bring our 2 year old along without feeling like it's an issue. We have been there now three times and they have been so accommodating and kind. It is super appreciated.

Abie l.

Yelp
The place is cute in terms that reminds me of a diner and a French bistro. It's a little too new for the French vibe and a little too nice for the diner feel. We tried the escargot which isn't your traditional escargot. It had a lemony/pesto sauce instead of the garlic butter parsley sauce that I was expecting. The baguette was also told not to be made on premise which wasn't appetizing. We had the mussels which were $34! Good. Not great and definitely hard to justify at such a high price point. The burger was decent. Fries were okay, a bit overdone. Ketchup wasn't ketchup. It's a mix of ketchup and cocktail sauce. Hard to describe. I would say it's okay. It's not great and it's not terrible. It is pricey though. I also would say that it is not classic French. I would say it's more French inspired.

Michael B.

Yelp
It was pretty great. Only giving it four cause all the other customers were rude and weird. People cutting in line and still getting served while my gf and I stood by waiting to be seated.

Joanne R.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant - love tuna sashimi noodles and the salmon, finished off with the black and white soufflé - Delicious!!!! Wonderful and creative food, great service. Highly Recommended - should be a Michelin star restaurant. A must visit if in the Westchester area. Don't forget the gluten free chocolate cup cake!!! Most recent lunch I had the tomato soup and affogato sundae. Really excellent.

Yelp
I want to give a better score but I was disappointed. Maybe the hype prior to coming was too high. Maybe it was the prices for the entrees that got me. I ordered the black see bass for an entree after it was one of the dishes recommended by our waiter. But for $38 one would expect more than a small, very thin and mostly skin filet. This wasn't an anomaly as I saw a few coming out the same way. The presentation was beautiful but I was very surprised at the size. Where was the meat?? Other than I think 2 dishes every entree was mid 30's and over. Sorry a French cafe doesn't need to gauge customers like this but hey if you can get it why not? Affogato desert was good and apps were ok. Not crazy about thick dressing on the beet salad.

Yelp
We came for dinner this past weekend, butternut soup was the perfect winter starter. Cocktails were delicious, the grapefruit spritz (can't remember the exact name) was so good and my husband's spicy margarita had the exact right amount of heat. The rigatoni maison was fresh and delicious and my husband said he is still thinking about the burger 2 days later. The inside was warm and cozy and the service lovely.
google avatar

Calvin B.

Yelp
This is a women-owned business. Guess what? I don't care. Ordered their wagyu burger. It was good, but on the small side and not worth the outrageous price. Fries that came with the burger were mid. Would I come here again? Probably not. It's just too expensive for what you get.
google avatar

Zach D.

Yelp
Probably the best restaurant in Harrison from the service to ambiance to food. My wife and I went in there for brunch and the place was hopping! We enjoyed the experience and food so much, we want the next day for dinner!

Corey Q.

Yelp
I cannot recommend Cafe Deux enough. I started off with the tuna sashimi noodles and then ordered the rigatoni maison which was 11/10, and I also tried the truffle tagliatelle and cauliflower roti masala. I would order any of the items again and was blown away in particular by the tuna sashimi noodles. Be sure to start your night off with it when visiting. The restaurant itself had a hip, yet comforting vibe with low lighting and music that filled the room without causing distraction. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and everyone I interacted with was super nice. To end the night, I had the sundae which was amazing and had me googling afterwards options to have it shipped to me out of state. I look forward to my next visit to the restaurant and do not miss out on such a fantastic spot.
google avatar

Susan G.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday here recently. Ordered Rigatoni in a light, red sauce, which was very tasty. The cocktail menu was extensive with thoughtfully crafted drinks. I enjoyed the pink lady, which is made with mezcal tequila. Excited to try this drink as many bars do not carry mezcal tequila. Delicious but pricey=$21 in a low ball glass. No happy hour. For dessert, we enjoyed petit cups of varying chocolate combinations. All delicious. Check the menu ahead of arrival as I believe menu changes. Beautiful intimate space that I hope to visit again. Some street parking in front and large metro north pay lot across the street.

Charles M.

Yelp
The coffee was delicious, the eggs Benedict was delicious, and the service was fabulous. 5 Stars all around!
google avatar

Yelp
Cafe Deux was an amazing experience in both the environment and the food. Walking in, I was originally surprised at how fancy the little establishment felt, and almost seemed under-dressed. Despite this, the hostess and waiters had no judgment and served us like any other guest. The staff as a whole is absolutely what is expected from any restaurant, with our waiter checking up on us just the right amount of times without being intrusive. I ordered the Wagyu burger to be cooked medium, though a couple spots came back more on the rare side, though this was minimal. The fries were absolutely perfect for me, though my friend said that they were extra salty, but I like that. His Rigatoni was delicious with a generous amount of cheese on top. Overall, I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to others, as long as you know it's a fancier, and therefore slightly pricer meal.
google avatar

Lawrence L.

Yelp
First time today. Small but nice place. Brunch style menu was small but the quality was very good. Wagyu cheeseburger with fries and a fluffy egg and bacon quiche were solid performers, polar opposites but equally good. A martini and a Sauvignon blanc were quite nice. Higher priced but the good service helped.

S S.

Yelp
Elegant ambience (sophisticated yet cozy), but the food is just shy of excellent. Case in point: fries are meticulously golden brown but not seasoned. Croutons in lardon salad are handmade, but the lardons were oversalted, while the egg had no salt at all. The croissant was flaky on the outside but doughy on the inside (not cooked all the way through). Chocolate was unbalanced: very bitter matcha filling with generic white chocolate coating. So close yet so far from being a great place.
google avatar

Jorge M.

Yelp
Food is worse, mediocre, service very unpleasant, chef walk arround with out of great presentation.
google avatar

Courtney T.

Yelp
Cafe Deux definitely does not disappoint! I got an oat milk coffee to go and it was so delicious! The interior of the Cafe Deux is so beautiful and clean and the staff is very friendly! I will definitely be coming back for a meal and to try some of their chocolates!

Marcus H.

Yelp
We ate here today for the first time with some friends. The food was absolutely delicious! Tuna salad Nicoise was large and perfect, quiche was awesome and the avocado toast was spot on. The warm baguette with butter and jam was as good as any I've had. There were a couple issues which prevents me from giving 5 stars. First, I ordered a Bombay Sapphire martini, and had to wait close to 10 minutes for it. When it arrived I took a sip and immediately knew it wasn't Bombay Sapphire. I sent it back and it was replaced, and I'm not certain the second was correct either. Secondly, the pace of service was glacial. At the end of the meal I ordered an espresso and it took so long I told the waitress to cancel it. I had already eaten dessert (a chocolate croissant that was decadent!) and paid the bill, and the waitress brought it over, saying it had just been made and it was on the house. During the meal our waitress didn't come by the table a single time, and it did take quite a while for our food to arrive. Overall, the food was delicious but the service was something that will not make us rush back.

Lucia G.

Yelp
I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable. This is my go-to place when I want a burger! - the best in town. Their staff is not only friendly but also highly skilled and the owners are very knowledgeable and always happy to explain the menu.
google avatar

Elizabeht G.

Yelp
the food and service is delicious. I love the French toast and the chocolate oh my God.
google avatar

Dana S.

Yelp
Cute spot and yummy food! Amanda the host was very sweet...my husband and I enjoyed talking to her!

Nella F.

Yelp
The very RUDEST NASTIEST people I have ever met as a customer. The employees are mean and purposely slow moving and the even manager did not know how to fix a situation gone wrong! She as sarcastic and mean, even worse. No good food or pastries. I wish I could give zero stars. One sugary GF cupcake and some teeny chocolates u could buy elsewhere for 10% the price. AVOID!!!

Lee M.

Yelp
An absolute gem of a restaurant! My husband and I tried it for brunch for the first time this weekend and enjoyed it so much we came back for dinner days later! The food is exceptional (both brunch and dinner!), the ambiance is terrific - very warm vibes, and everyone who works there was so nice! Highly recommend trying!

Allison D.

Yelp
First time to Cafe Deux, and it hit all the marks. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and the first dish and side I tried were a home run. The Crustless Quiche Lorraine was soft and fluffy (absolutely delicious) ; the fries were epic. The soft French music playing in the background made me want to sit there all day. Looking forward to going back and trying each dish over all the menus as this will become my go-to in Westchester.

Sallie D.

Yelp
We were greeted with a warm welcome from all staff beginning with Chelsea for an amazing lunch. The restaurant itself was delightful, and the house-made chocolates in the display case and the pastries spoke to the authenticity of this gem in Harrison. We were seated promptly and the very attentive staff answered our questions. My lunch meal was superb. Never have I eaten quiche where the eggs were the perfect fluffiness contained within a smooth custard and lightly browned to perfection. Served in a delightful personal-size quiche dish with a small serving of mixed greens, this quiche did not disappoint. My lunch companion had heard many rave reviews about the house-cut fries so she ordered one for the table. As soon as I saw them, I knew this was no ordinary fry. After one bite, I was grateful for the wisdom of my lunch companion. I cannot wait to return to try each item on this well-thought-out menu. What a gift to the greater Harrison, Rye, and White Plains area. This restaurant is perfect for date night, anniversary, girls' luncheon, or no occasion at all.

Kristen D.

Yelp
Cute little gem in Harrison. First time we went it was just for cocktails and their homemade chocolate which were all delicious, you seriously can't go wrong. The second time we visited we had dinner and everything was beautifully presented and food was delicious. Service is also very efficient and friendly. Will definitely be going back, great addition to the town!

Ashley R.

Yelp
restaurant is beautiful and drinks are good but food was underwhelming and over priced. $48 for a pasta and $33 for a dozen mussels is a lot even considering the current market. $16 for 6 slices of apples and beets..?! unfortunately even the chocolate croissant dessert lacked flavor. it too bad, we had high hopes for this place but if we go again, we'll just be having drinks.

Casey M.

Yelp
It's okay. They took about 15 minutes to get my to go order ready. And the sandwich came out cold and not as good as the first time I got this a couple weeks ago. I am disappointed, maybe it was just this specific day

JA N.

Yelp
What an amazing addition to Harrison! Restaurant is beautiful and every bite of food was delicious, try the burger, try everything!
