The Best French Restaurants in Portland, Oregon | Eater Portland

"Cafe du Berry meets the never-ending demand for Portland brunch options, having served the Southwest Macadam neighborhood since the ’80s. Locals flood the patio on weekends to partake in the morning ritual of mimosas alongside creamy Benedicts, spinach omelets, and the house specialty French toast. The lunch and dinner menus, on the other hand, provide straightforward French dishes with a seasonal Pacific Northwest flair, like escargot dressed with butter, salad Nicoise, and racks of lamb in a casual environment. Come here to experience a true French onion soup, which comes in a classic earthenware crock doused with gooey Gruyère cheese." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

The Best Soups in Portland, Oregon | Eater Portland

"As soon as the slightest chill creeps into the air, it’s hard to not hear the siren call of Cafe Du Berry’s French onion soup. The beloved bistro adds a thick blanket of melted cheese on top of its soup, ensuring an impressive cheese pull with every bite. First opened in 1984, Cafe Du Berry has become a favorite in the Rose City for its laidback French comfort offerings." - Rebecca Roland

Where To Eat and Drink in South Waterfront | Eater Portland

"In an ever-changing neighborhood, Cafe du Berry has been holding it down in the South Waterfront since 1984. Steps away from Willamette Park, this comfortable bistro has been a popular breakfast destination for Portlanders from all parts of town. Billing itself as a “French country restaurant,” a kitchen offering dishes like spaghetti and hamburgers isn’t particularly Gallic — escargot and French onion soup excepting — but why nit-pick when you can pause a leisurely stroll along the South Waterfront Greenway with a steak sandwich and fresh salad in Cafe du Berry’s verdant back patio? Check out its Instagram for semi-regular free wine tastings." - Rebecca Roland

Where to Find the Best French Onion Soup in Portland | Eater Portland

"Cafe du Berry has been serving fans of French-inspired fare with Pacific Northwest touches at its unassuming South Portland location since 1984. Despite using local ingredients, there’s nothing particularly nouvelle about Cafe du Berry’s menu, which means Portlanders will classics like escargot drenched in butter, and of course, the deeply savory French onion soup, which arrives in an earthenware crock, with picture-perfect rivulets of melted cheese dripping down the sides. It’s available for lunch and dinner as a cup or a bowl."

Best steak and eggs in Portland. Also, best French toast and hash browns. Love the atmosphere, chill year round patio and super friendly family staff.

Google
My favorite breakfast in Portland, a true gem! Feels like you’re eating at a friends home, the patio is lovely, the food is all so good. I’m not a French toast person but I can’t stop thinking about this custardy delicious French toast. The scallop mushroom omelette is also a favorite - creamy rich yet light sauce and fresh mushrooms and scallops.

Google
I wanted to keep this gem to myself but that would not be doing anyone justice because this is a run, don't walk, situation Cafe Du Berry in Portland has the best breakfast in town. We had the eggs benedict, pepper steak and French toast and I would order the same thing again. All dishes were flavorful and large portions! Not only is the food unforgettable but the service and staff are quick, friendly and attentive. The restaurant has three different seating areas with all different ambiance vibes but all are amazing!

Google
A Portland classic! This is a small family business and you feel all the love that is required to make an eatery work across multiple generations. Everything is excellent. The best French toast anywhere. If you disagree, I'll fight you :-) another favorite the scallop and mushroom French style omelette. Merci!

Google
The food and the service were outstanding. Don't be put off by the atmosphere. It's an old run down house, but it's very clean. The menu has a lot of unusual options. I had the lemon French Toast. SO good. I'd definitely go back.

My buddy took my wife and I here for brunch after we finish our hike. He been here before and recommended it for lunch because he said their French toast is amazing. This is a mom and pop type of breakfast place so it's not well known. When we arrived, he parked on the street and they seated us in their tent dining area. My friend went with their French toast, my wife got the scallops and mushroom omelet and I went with their French waffles. The size of my waffle was pretty big but I don't think it was worth the price of the food. The syrup I think they give with it is sugar free because it wasn't sweet to me and the French waffle had a plain taste. My wife and my friend enjoyed their dish. Our dish also come with the side of fruits but it was only like 2 pieces of orange and 1 strawberry. The service we received here was amazing, our waiter was attentive to our table. If you dine inside the restrauant, the second floor dining room will remind me of eating back in the old days. They only have 1 bathroom here so be aware of that.

Google
We came here for the first time on Memorial Day for brunch and loved it. We ordered the Vegetable Benedict and a Vegetable Scramble. This spot is known for its French toast, so we ordered one a la cart to share-totally worth it. Probably the best French toast I've ever had, and everything else was top notch too. Would recommend getting a reservation because it's pretty popular. Luckily, we thought ahead and were seated pretty quickly. Definitely a place to bring out of town friends.

Google
Excellent food, friendly service. I can’t believe I haven’t been here before, I will definitely go back. Best dish of 2024 is morel mushrooms on toast, a must for anyone that love French food! they will be serving it until July. Generous portions of scallops which were delicious.

Yelp
I've driven by this place for years and this is the first time going. Their signature dish is the lemon curd French toast and it is absolutely incredible. I think this is my favorite French toast in the whole wide world. Next time I come, I want to try the pepper steak, which they say is their second most popular dish. This is classic old style very old Portland. Super nice staff and people. Only three people working. So it was slow and relaxed and nice when chatting with friends. Would not recommend if you're in a rush. Did I mention how good the French toast is? I can't believe how amazing it was. I can't wait to eat here again. No photos, kids eat before my camera and me

Yelp
Walking inside it just looks...tired? It's no frills, plain and simple. The food tasted nice but the omelette looked more like a scrambled. The cheese was a surprisingly good tasting cheddar. The hashbrowns were more like mashed potatoes with crispy outer bits. The best part of it was the incredibly fast service.

Yelp
Service was wonderful. Food not so much! Their lemon ricotta French toast was ok. No lemon flavor whatsoever, sadly. The hash browns were a big disappointment. Just a blob of starch. No taste. Ham and cheese omelette was generous on ham. Still, I've had better at cheaper places. Was underwhelmed at the ambiance.Maybe it was just a bad day there? Food wise?

Yelp
French toast was delicious, especially since it was served hot! Steak and eggs were also good. Coffee was not bitter and was very pleasant. Service was slow... overall worth four stars.

Yelp
I can't believe I've driven past this spot so many times and never been! The steak and eggs here were absolutely incredible, buttery soft steak and incredibly well rounded gravy. But I really could not get enough of the lemon curd French toast- definitely order one for the table. The only downsides on this specific day was they were only taking cash and we had to visit an ATM down the street. This was advertised before putting our name in. But upon sitting down our waiter informed us they were not serving alcohol. Normally this isn't a big deal but given we were out for a Sunday brunch, I wish this was also advertised. Overall, I will absolutely come back, and I will hope cash and booze are sorted out by then!

Yelp
We had an amazingly delicious dinner here a couple of weeks ago. The neighborhood French restaurant could not be cuter, the owners are so friendly and committed to locally sourced, seasonally fresh and delicious food and spirits, and the whole dinner and service could not have been better. I so wish we lived closer. This is a gem and I cannot wait to return!

Yelp
My boyfriend just moved into a new place only a few blocks away and we were excited to find a spot to grab brunch around the area and stumbled upon Cafe Du Berry! Upon being seated around 1:30, we immediately felt guilty as we thought they stopped serving brunch at 3, and misunderstood that was the time for just lunch, and they stop serving brunch at 2. With both of us being in the service industry, we knew how much of annoyance that can be for staff. We were willing to just order off the lunch menu to not be such a hassle but the staff reassured that it was okay and we were happily served brunch as if it were no problem! Unfortunately, I didn't seem to hear any music playing so it felt a bit awkward chatting without everyone hearing our conversation, but thankfully one of the cooks was humming along to whatever song he had in his head while he was making our meal so we still had some sort of background music. That in particular made me smile and it felt extremely endearing. I'm a young Asian American girl who grew up with an up-and coming family restaurant, and I got the same vibes from Cafe Du Berry. It was both casual, cozy, and charming in the way that there was French inspired murals and decorations, but still a bit of a homey Asian American flair around as well. After we received our order, the cook personally came and checked on how we were doing, and handed us their signature French toast on the house for us to try! It was so sweet and so delicious, as was everything else that we ordered! He got the NY Pepper Steak and Eggs, I got the weekend special Crab Benedict, and we shared a French Waffle! We immediately knew this was going to be our favorite new brunch spot, and are thankful it's so close by. I felt right at home here!(:

Yelp
I made a list to try out restaurants, that I might be bringing my luncheon group for a luncheon gathering, all through the year. Cafe Du Berry was #1 on my list for 2024 to try out. The seating was outside, with the heat & fan scattered about. We didn't plan on doing that, but luckily we're prepared wearing the correct attire, when we went there, since we've not been there before. We discovered a large formal dining area on the second floor (restroom area) that was not used at the time we were there. It would have been cozier, if we ate upstairs, I avoided sitting near a heat/fan, since my hot flashes goes up or down any moment's time. But I did fine, outside! Hubby, on the other hand, wore his thick winter coat, all during our meal. We ordered Crab Benedict, and Spanish Omelette. Both are huge! They came with hash brown potatoes, several types of fruit. The Spanish Omelette was wonderful, according to hubby 'like the Spanish Omelette I remember when I was a kid!' Also, we got a side of bacon, that was very, very tasty! The Crab Benedict was what I was craving for! We have the right amount of fruit. The OJ was also the right amount size for me. I think, my leftovers was even better the next day! The service was good, friendly. The only negative, that I found, was there were cobwebs on the light fixtures in the restroom.

Yelp
Came here with some friends for brunch and it was phenomenal! The cafe is on the corner of a busy street and has been here for nearly 40 years, making it a local favorite. Their is both inside and outside (covered) seating and both are great options. I went inside with my friends and it felt like family dining--very cozy and intimate, with an open kitchen. My friends and I were all in the mood for benedicts, so we all (except one) tried them. Their portioning is so generous and all of the food tastes amazing, from the sauce to the freshness. We also got their french toast, which is a must try (what they're famous for). It's definitely different than the average french toast (more custardy), but very worth it. Service here is also so sweet. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Wonderful food! We liked the extensive menu for brunch. One order was dropped for our large group, but it came late and we were comped for the error. We had plenty of space upstairs for our talkative group, which was appreciated.

Yelp
This used to be a family favorite spot for us - but we hadn't been here for a few years since we moved. The waffles were terrible, as indicated by so many instances of other diners leaving behind 75% of the waffles. And out of maple syrup! The French toast was overdone and the French press coffee was cold... Our server was new at the job. He was trying hard but forgot our asks a couple of times. The ambiance was incredible. Best part of the restaurant and the one thing that is still as good as it always was. Highly recommend sitting downstairs outside.

Yelp
The food here is exceptional! Especially weekend brunch. They are known for their Crab Benedic, which I've had and it is loaded with crab and absolutely delicious. Their French Toast, with a bit of lemon curd, is also super popular. On my most recent visit, I opted for the Pepper Steak & Eggs and I have a feeling this will be my go-to when I visit again. The strip steak was cooked perfectly medium and melted in my mouth. The pepper sauce that covered it added to the flavor profile without overpowering. It comes with two eggs ( I chose scrambled with asiago cheese added) and perfectly crisp hash browns, toast or English muffin, and a little bit of fruit. Everything was so tasty and satisfying! I made quite a dent but took half the steak and the English muffin home for dinner. You can drive right by this restaurant and not even know it's there. It's basically in an old house. Inside there are not that many tables. On the first floor, there are maybe three for 2 people with the rest being up a narrow and rickety staircase. They seated us outside which has a roof and makeshift walls with overhead heaters. Originally our table of six was seated in an area with a very small heater and a major wind drift. It was so cold we asked to be moved once another table freed up. It was in an area with three overhead heaters so finally, we were warm. In the spring and summer, this area is fine, but for a 35 degree day in the winter it was challenging. Prices were very reasonable. My steak and eggs was $23; the crab Benedict was $21; and the omelets and waffles in the $11-17 range. The only thing that threw me off was the $5 for coffee. Not an espresso drink, just a basic cup of drip coffee which should have been $2-3 max. Service was great. The young man waiting on us handled all the requests, got everyone's drink and brunch orders right, brought us coffee refills constantly, and kept the water glasses filled. He was attentive but not intrusive. I complimented and thanked him for his great service. Cafe Du Berry is definitely a great brunch spot. You can enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices, and no lines! They also do a big take-out business, a left over from Covid days. When I arrived, there were at least four people picking up to-go orders. Parking is on the street in the neighborhood and was not a problem.

Yelp
This place used to be delicious. Not anymore. The hashbrowns were burnt on the outside and undercooked inside, the tasteless, overcooked veggies were drowned in a overpowering lemony "hollandaise" sauce. The bread underneath wasn't even toasted properly. My dates dish of a basic eggs and fruit was awful as well. How you can F that up, is amazing. I did tell our server that the food was not good. Her response was "well that's just how they make things here, we get a lot of complaints." WTF!? We would have been better off going to Denny's. Seriously.

Janessa C.

Yelp
The service was very slow. There were only 2 servers on at 10am on a Sunday, and the place was very busy. Staff were nice though. We were seated on the patio which was clean. I had the veggie frittata and it was really tasty, but I wasn't wild about the hash browns. They were very thick so the inside was basically potato mush. My friend had the shirred eggs which were overcooked. Might give it another chance in the future.

Yelp
I love this place so much, it's been a couple of years since I've eaten here because I live out of state now. And the only thing I go here for is the French toast. More like a pudding than French toast, it's the only way I will eat French toast. The bread is soaked in an egg-cream and baked. It's lovely. So much so that I can't bring myself to order anything else. The service is good, servers are friendly and the ambiance is that of a lovely old home. I'm so grateful they don't change the menu and method of preparation much, it feels like home when I come here.

Yelp
amazing french toast that is like dipped in custard. dont worry the "lemmon" aspect did not overwhelm! Small little cafe been meaning to try forever. Crab benedict also fab. Cute lil place in Johns Landing off the 43. Expect to wait on a Sat or Sun for a table, fyi

Yelp
Eggs Benedict was great, really like the lemon flavor in the hollandaise sauce and plentiful ham. Wife had the French toast which is a specialty item that did not disappoint.

Yelp
This little place has been here for ever! They serve very well prepared French food at reasonable prices. Been here a half a dozen times or so. Not a single visit was disappointing. They have some of the best Sunday Brunches you can find. Dinners are excellent. As you can expect from a small restaurant - you'll want to make reservations or be prepared to wait. The pandemic era sidewalk seating (enclosed w. heat) was a welcome expansion as otherwise you could hardly find an open table inside. The place was closed because the owner/chef was attacked and injured when hunting for mushrooms. He's since recovered and the place opened up a few months ago and I've been there twice since.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, very friendly staff, we didn't have a reservation but got a small table near the front. I got the French toast. It was so good, I really enjoyed the lemon flavor. Wish I could've gotten a second plate but I was stuffed. My husband got the cream spinach omelette and cleaned his plate. Service was fast and great atmosphere

Veronica N.

Yelp
I was visiting Portland and my daughter took me here for breakfast. The ambiance was wonderful. We sat in the patio. Food was great. Not hip on the hash browns. The french toast was delicious. Cute little place. Will come back when I visit again.

Yelp
Cafe du Berry has the absolute best French toast in town! Their French Toast is soaked in a vanilla custard, then browned on a grill, making it crisp on the outside and soft and luscious on the inside. It's hard to get past the French Toast because it is so orgasmic. If you are ready to try an omelette, I recommend the Scallops with Shiitake mushroom omelette. Again, it's cooked to perfection, so that the omelette itself is al dente, holding up, yet silky moist egg, that somehow is almost ready to drip, but doesn't. The hash browns, some people like, and some don't. I recommend trying them and deciding for yourself. If you order toast, I recommend their house made jam. This week it tasted like Marionberry jam. It came in a small bowl, which I didn't think we would finish, but by the end of the meal, it was gone! The Eggs Benedict is so good, that it sells out sometimes. I prefer the Crab Benedict which is only available on weekends. They have indoor dining upstairs and a few tables downstairs. Their covered patio is heated, and fenced in for privacy from the street. The ambiance on the patio is wonderful, as it wraps around the trees, giving it a warmth and woody feeling. Street parking is relatively good. We usually park anywhere from almost out in front to one block away.

Yelp
This restaurant is tiny but very cute. It is two stories although I only got to see the first floor. They also have outdoor seating. I came on a Sunday morning and did not have to wait to be seated as they weren't super busy. All staff members were really nice but service was a little bit slow. They did not check on us often and we had to get their attention whenever we needed anything. I will say that the food is pretty good. But as previously mentioned in other reviews, the wait time for food is very long. We ordered the peppered steak and eggs, crab omelette, and the French toast. The peppered steak and eggs was the best tasting entree we had. It was seasoned well, and the sauce they put on top is delicious. We asked for extra sauce which they were not able to provide since the sauce is made when the steak is made. So I would recommend to ask for extra sauce when you order. The crab omelette is only offered on the weekends. The omelette was very fluffy and topped with a sauce made with real crab meat. I see a lot of good reviews for the French toast, however, I was not a fan of it. The texture was jello-y and reminded me of pudding. When I think of French toast, I think of crunchy exterior and fluffy interior (my personal preference). And this just did not do it for me. My brother, on the other hand, loved it. The portion sizes were decent and price point was good.

Yelp
Made reservations to come here at 11 AM on a sunny Sunday morning. There was ample street parking close by. We only had to wait a few minutes for our table. It wasn't very busy. The decor/ambiance is casual and rustic - no need to dress up. I got the spinach omelette - which was delicious and my husband got the crab Benedict, which as also very good (only offered on the weekends). The hash browns were meh - seems like they are mass oven baked, but definitely lacked flavor. My toast was also cold. Would've preferred some breakfast potatoes or the option for some greens. The French toast was wonderful, though! Definitely the highlight - crispy outside and almost custard like on the inside. Service was alright - no one checked on us after we got our food, but I imagine that was due to short staff/training new people. Would I return? Probably not, but it was fun to try once.

Yelp
Lovely patio seating with cozy/romantic feel. Street parking available. Spanish omelette and creamy spinach omelette were delicious! Close walk to Waterfront park for nice stroll by water after breakfast :)

Yelp
Real Benedict! I could taste the lemon and butter and it was definitely not made from a mix or powder! The vegetables were cooked just right and the fruit side was delightful - WOW! I Can't wait to get back for dinner but it will be a hard choice between duck and scallops! Very cozy little place with outstanding, personable servers, authentic food! and a wonderful feeling of pride and cooperation. I've driven by for decades and always wanted to check it out - I'm so sorry that I waited! Just don't tell everybody so it gets over crowded!

Yelp
house special french toast traditional eggs Benedict WOW! we usually order the same breakfast foods but the french toast here is amazing! the texture is hard to explain but it is very fluffy and soft. to die for! if you come here you must try the french toast to see you yourself!

Yelp
As others said: French toast was quite good. Everything else (Spanish omelette, shirred eggs, coffee) was mediocre to unpleasant. Worst hash browns I've had in a long time.

Yelp
Food fresh farm to table. Service with a smile. Family owned and operated and operated.

Yelp
So terribly disappointed to find that this long time favorite place has changed hands! The historic ambience is still intact but the food is nothing like it has been. Their Benedict sauce was always made with cracked real eggs and fresh lemons but today when I ordered a scallop omelette it was served with a salty gravy that overwhelmed the scallop flavor. It was certainly not a Benedict. The hash browns were a patty of glop nicely browned on both sides but totally gummy starch inside. I think the eggs were premixed and poured from a carton - none of the variety of yellow and white and texture from freshly cracked eggs. One could always count on perfectly pan seared large scallops here but today since they were only serving breakfast I was served sea scallops with interesting but under cooked mushrooms. There was a lovely serving of perfect fresh fruit on the plate and the toast was made with tasty whole grain bread which was appreciated. The service was enthusiastic from a person I recognized from previous visits. It was good to see him! I' will probably go back once they get their liquor license and start serving dinner again. The website is not updated which lead to my surprise at the drastic changes.

Yelp
Best food and service in Portland. Love it. I highly recommend it, the pepper steak is amazing

Yelp
The perfect polynamourious flavor. Lightly crisp outer pillow of custard in blend of lemon, vanilla, butter and sugar. Timeless. It dances in your mouth, it sings a sonnet, it tap dances on the brain. You have to try the house French Toast at once in your lifetime.

Gregory T.

Yelp
Have driven past Cafe du Berry for years and have heard great things about it. Finally stopped in this morning and the experience was disappointing to say the least. The food was good but overpriced for what it was. The French toast was good but not amazing. My wife enjoyed her waffle in spite of it arriving cold. The service was terrible. Tried to order a salad off the lunch menu (after lunch hours had started) and got snapped at that they weren't staffed to support lunch. Never once checked back to see how the food was or if we needed anything else. With so many other breakfast options out there we definitely will not be going back to this place.

Yelp
I currently live in the area of Café Duberry and couldn't be happier to be back in the neighborhood as I lived in this neighborhood, just two blocks away, an incredibly quick walk, 10 years ago for many years. Being back is amazing to be so close again to some of the best breakfast in the city! One thing to note, this is a dining experience, not a quick brunch spot. Everything is scratch made and it is family run, so come prepared to enjoy yourselves with good conversation with good company or a good book to read while you wait for your food to be made because it is not coming out fast. If you are expecting things to be timely, you will be disappointed. If you can appreciate a leisurely dining experience, you're in the right place. This family owned French brunch neighborhood spot is worth the trip from wherever you are located in the Portland area. They do classic French made omelettes. If you've never had a French omelette, and you come here expecting a regular "American" omelette, you might be disappointed. The French omelettes here are traditional and perfectly made with moist eggs and no fillings. Your omelette style will come with ingredients on top, not on the inside. And Café Duberry is doing it proper! They are cooked absolutely perfect every single time. This style of omelette takes a high level of precision, care, and patience to make. And the consistency of which Café Duberry is creating these is remarkable! This being said, the spinach omelette is spectacularly phenomenal! It is hands-down my favorite item on the menu. I've gotten it at least 10-12 times over the years. The spinach cream sauce is thick and flavorful and perfect. It's otherworldly, let me tell you. Also, the brioche French toast is amazing and everyone must get one order for the table to share. Lastly, their mimosas are delicious with their variety of fresh squeezed / homemade juices. I have brought groups of friends for birthday celebrations, family from out of town and out of state, and dates here before. It is a place for everyone!

Yelp
Cafe Du Berry is a solid brunch spot on Macadam. It's unassuming from the outside, so I've been by it probably 10,000 times... But it came highly recommended, so I popped in. Let me tell you, this is a hidden gem. It has a nice, homey ambience with fast and friendly service... And most importantly, tasty yums. I went with the veggie benedict, and was thoroughly impressed. I am a self-professed benedict connoisseur, so trust me, this is a solid pick. This being said, nearly everything looked bomb.com. Stop by and treat yourself.

Yelp
What a great neighborhood restaurant! Not much to look at from the street but once seated and greeted by Peyton and Tom we knew we were in for a nice cozy evening. The patio's a comfortable place and we had plenty of space for the family. The menu was simple enough and the reasonable prices allowed us to enjoy a bit of everything and if course we did! The French Onion soup was excellent as well as the butter lettuce salad. The Morel toast was also delicious. While I enjoyed the scallops others enjoyed the lamb rack and veal tagliatelle. The wine list is very reasonable and featured numerous local wines. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert so we will have to return another time. And so we will!

Yelp
came to this place at dinner time with high hopes because of all the great reviews! we didn't have to wait long for a table of 7. it seems to be a lovely family owned restaurant and the service is outstanding (5/5 for service!). the 3/5 overall review is based only on the food. i ordered the pork belly pasta: the pork was tender and the pasta was al dente. the sauce on the pasta was also very nice and herby with the capers. although this dish isn't bad at all, i find that the food doesn't match the high ratings and the prices unfortunately. my cousin ordered the scallops dish for around $27 i believe, the dish was presented beautifully but the scallops were flavorless and soaked in oil, and the rice the cake with it also tasted oily. however, the figs + cheese + apricot appetizer was quite delicious if you're here wanting to try out a meal from du berry. i would just recommend passing on the scallops. overall final recommendations and comments: get the lamb racks, pasta, or the halibut as main courses and the fig appetizer! skip on the scallops. service is amazing and the servers are so kind. if you're looking for a quaint place to try out some french cuisine, this is the place for you!

Yelp
We made reservations here on a bustling Sunday morning. We were sat in a corner on the patio, which I was thankful for. The patio had a lot of charm, but the inside was rather dated. I really enjoyed my scallop omelete. The scallops were really fresh, and I enjoyed the creamy sauce it was topped with. The service was rather tiring at times. i asked for a coffee which i never got, which I just let slide. I know many restaurants are still struggling finding workers, so I am will not fault them to much for this, and would be willing to go there again on a weekday.

Yelp
Cute little brunch spot. They weren't seating anybody upstairs so it was about a 15 minute wait on a Sunday morning which still wasn't bad at all. We ordered the scallop and mushroom omelette. The scallops were very well cooked but I wish it was a bit more mushroom forward in the omelette. Hash browns were more like thick mashed potatoes. The French toast was good but the texture was extremely unexpected. It was very wet; almost custard like. Also ordered the spinach sauce on the side to try and I was not a fan. It was cold and chunky pudding consistency. Honestly I think it was firmer than the French toast. My friend liked it however but I also just felt it was a bit bland.

Yelp
1) really nice aesthetic out in the patio!! 2) i made a reservation but i still had to wait ~20-25 mins before i was able to get seated 3) the service staff tells you what is not available after you've made your choice 4) food and value was eh. I did get full from the 19 dollar mushroom scallop omelet but there wasn't a ton of flavor - maybe i needed to ask for some condiments. the 14 dollar french toast definitely wasn't that worth it... forgot to take pics of the food ):

Yelp
I loved the casual vibe and total bonus that the patio is dog friendly! I took my pup for a snack and can't wait to go back and actually have a full meal. The snack, bacon, was amazing!

Yelp
I want to post a review since they have a couple reviews that aren't the best. - One review is complaining the eggs aren't seasoned, well that's because it's a farm to table restaurant which means it's the freshest and healthiest you can get. Every time you order eggs anywhere else, it will seasoned, oiled, buttered, whatever. That's not how we should be eating every day anyway. Their outdoor area is unique and everything you eat there is amazing. Yes it is differently done compared to other restaurants and that's because it's real, feel- good food. :)

Yelp
After driving past this cozy, vine covered place for years, we finally went there on this rainy, windy day. We sat in the covered patio and there were plenty of heaters to keep everyone warm. It took about twenty minutes for our food to come but we were in no hurry. The food was AMAZING. A perfect breakfast. My husband got the pepper steak and it was perfection. That SAUCE. And I had the creamed spinach omelette. I don't think I have ever had such a silky, perfectly made omelette until today. It's the kind of omelette you try to make at home after watching YouTube videos. But just come here instead. We can't wait to go back to try more of their food and enjoy sitting next to those vines when they turn green!
