LA Coffee Shops That Serve Great Food - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This spot just off Cahuenga is one of the most criminally overlooked grab-and-go coffee options in the city, but it’s Caffe Etc.’s food that keeps us coming back. Their breakfast menu is served all day, there’s a rotating daily empanada flavor, and the service will get you in and out and on your way to your next commercial audition." - jess basser sanders, brant cox

Very beautiful and tasty breakfasts here. There are no any similar place because it’s Asian area But I prefer European or American breakfast Thank you very much

Google
The best garlic noodles I've ever had was from here! It's a new item on their menu & i hope it stays forever! This place is a gem and also the staffs are so kind and radiates positivity!

Google
First time trying Cafe Et Cetera and it did not disappoint! I ordered the California omelette that has bacon, ham, cheese, and avocado. Omelette is also served with a salad and tater tots. Food was delicious and good portions. The lady that served me was very friendly. She even went out of her way to look for me in the seating area to give me the salsa that came with my food. I wish I took a picture of the food but I was too hungry. I will definitely go back!

Google
I am not a huge fan of burgers, but let me say the ETC burger was great! Second time going to Blossom Hall Market, and decided to bring my boyfriend to show him how cute this place is. And we both loved the burger, and the side salad is a wonderful touch. If I have a craving for a burger 🍔 I am coming to Cafe Et Cetera, oh also the Bacon 🥓 was amazing!! And that egg is perfection 🥰 💞 Give them a try, you won't be disappointed 😉

Google
Holy Moly this place is great! They have a spicy crispy chicken sandwich called the Holy Moly that is really good. It was hot, crispy and spicy with a layer cool coleslaw on a soft flavorful brioche bun. This is a hard working crew who is serving up tasty food.

Gina Gugli

Google
The hot chicken sandwich was fresh and so flavorful, tangy slaw, soft brioche bun. The creps fresh and light, stuffed with fruit.

Google
Great little restaurant in the blossom market Hall. I got the BAE sandwich and loved it! The tots were really good which is amazing cause usually I'm more of a fry guy. I'd go definitely visit again!

Google
This place is super clean super friendly staff and the crepes are beautifully made and fresh and delicious!!! They also have bugers and a breakfast burrito served all day long for you late bloomers like me! Im here literally every weekend for my sons sweet tooth. Come check them out you wont regret it!

Yelp
I've only ordered the breakfast burrito here and I never changed my order since then. The burrito is ridiculously good. Exactly what I want in a breakfast burrito. The sauce carries hard, but the texture and flavor work great. The salsa adds another dimension. The service is great, it's only 1 or 2 people working though, so call in early! Be patient with them. Overall: Honestly one of the best breakfast burritos in I've had in my life.

Yelp
Ordered a breakfast burrito and a crepe here and it was so good. The burrito was savory, with good cheese and crispy bacon. It also had tater tots inside and it was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also got the strawberry Nutella crepe. The crepe was perfectly chewy and sweet. I got ice cream on the side and it made for a perfect combo. The workers were very nice. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
A cafe with a bunch of different options. I got the spicy chicken sandwich. It was good. Service was great and the place itself is a vibe. A lot of seating as well but weekends can get full.

Yelp

Yelp
Easy ordering experience, though it's counter service it's still nice. This is inside the fun Blossom Market, an enjoyable casual modern vibe, and I had the popcorn chicken, its marinaded with their in-house marinade. Recommended by many other Yelpers!
google avatar

Yelp
Tried the chicken sandwich while on a lunch break. Lunch was delicious and fries were crispy! Wait time could be better.

Arifah L.

Yelp
I cannot compliment this sandwich and the service enough! This is the BEST, most flavorful, most crispy chicken sandwich ever--and I don't even like chicken sandwiches! My wife bought one and forced me to try it and now I--I!--am the one who's going back for the sando. The fries and tater tots are perfectly seasoned and fried--crisp, light--and the service is friendly and attentive. Go get the sandwich!

Yelp
The food here is excellent! I would eat here every day especially for their breakfast burrito! We have tried everything on the menu and all their ingredients are of great quality. And the staff is so friendly. I highly recommend this business.

Yelp
It was my first time here and I was impressed by the strawberry classic crepes that were not that sweet. I absolutely love it, and the Passion Fruit Lemonade was a bit sweet for me. The service was fine, the lady was helpful. It's located inside the Blossom Market Hall it's very cozy with a great art roof very colorful... Perfect for a group gathering or couple casual date. Recommended it..

Yelp
I recently enjoyed the "BAE Sandwich" at Cafe Et Cetera located within the great, Blossom Market Hall and it was a delightful experience. This tasty sandwich features crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and fluffy eggs on a lightly toasted bun. The true key to my experience, was the top-notch service. There was only one person working when I came in and I could tell I ordered during some of her crucial prep... but she held down my orders and others, all by herself, with big smile! Shoutout to her!
google avatar

Christina F.

Yelp
I adore their strawberry cheesecake crepe! It's delicious and so unique. I'm a sucker for cream cheese. Love coming here, it's always been good. The cashier was friendly, and it wasn't crowded when I came on a Friday afternoon. If possible, weekdays are the best time to visit to avoid crowds.

Yelp
Very friendly staff that helped us with our order since it was our first time. We ordered Funky Monkey, wings ( sauces on the side) a green tea. Food was great. We came back later and ordered the garlic noodles. It was very tasty as well.

Cassandra N.

Yelp
I came across Cafe Et Cetera at the Blossom Market Hall and ordered the garlic noodles & popcorn chicken to share with a friend. The portions are generous here & the food here did not disappoint! The service is amazing & the ladies working here are so sweet and friendly. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place(:

Yelp
Awesome breakfast burrito -- with fresh salsa on the side -- served piping hot. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
CAFE ET CETERA is located inside BLOSSOM MARKET HALL. The line to order was short. The wait to get our food wasn't too long, The HOLY MOLY CHICKEN SANDWICH with TATER TOTS was perfectly cooked, well-seasoned and was surrounded by a fluffy bun. There are plenty of tables in the indoor eating area.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Jessica, the owner of the shop was very friendly and fast with our order. We ordered the strawberry Nutella crepe. It came out fast and the strawberries were really fresh and sweet. Blossom Market Hall is really spacious and clean with ample parking. We will come again.
google avatar

Franklin M.

Yelp
We were participating in the cicLAvia bicycle event and the Blossom Market was swamped with hungry bikers and locals. We wanted breakfast so we ordered a breakfast burrito with no meat and their spiciest salsa. The burrito was a good size and we shared it. It included scrambled eggs, cheese, tater tots, but no onions were available to add on. It was cheesy and flavorful once we added the salsa.

Yelp
This was one of the last few restaurants open near closing time at blossom market so I gave it a try. Staff were super friendly and helped explain our order. I tried out these items. Jianbing - Think this maybe a limited item that might be taken off the menu in the future. It's the only savory crepe that they had and it was quite tasty. I got it extra spicy and it definitely had a kick. Had a soft outside with a crunchy interior from the fried wontons. Overall it was interesting and I liked it. (4.5/5) Funky Monkey - This crepe was a perfect balance of texture and flavors. It had a good amount of bananas and chocolate. Was interesting to see corn flakes on top but it added a nice crunch. Funny name as well. (5/5) Tater Tots - Super basic tots with ketchup but it came hot and crispy. Nothing special but they hit if you enjoy basic tots. (4/5) Overall I enjoyed the crepes that they had here. I wish they had more savory crepes than just the one but the sweet crepes all looked good. Price seemed reasonable at about $10-$12 dollars per crepe. I'd try out some of the other crepes forsure!

Marlene Q.

Yelp
They sell really delicious crepes but for the last two times I've been there, they said they are closed even though they are still open. They still have about 30 minutes or an hour before closing time but cant take my order so its disappointing.
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
Out of all the vendors in Blossom Market Hall, I decided to try this one. I did not have the crepes, so my review is only for the sandwich/burger. Prices increased again, so it is quite pricey now... It was about $20 just for one burger combo. ETC Burger: Beef patty was flavorful, sunny side up egg was cooked perfectly, and brioche bun was warm. The lettuce was a nice addition. This was yummy, although not amazing. BAE Sandwich: Stands for bacon, avocado, cheese. Scrambled eggs were good, cheese was plentiful, and avocado was fresh, but bacon was overcooked in my opinion. I would prefer the bacon to be not so burnt. Tater tots were nice and crispy. The salad was just a basic salad, not bad.
google avatar

Cynthia M.

Yelp
Honestly some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. My Fiance and I had the BAE sandwich and the Spicy chicken sandwich (medium spice) and it was so good. The chicken sandwich was a dry rub which you can see the seasoning clearly and it's so good. And their tater tots are delicious. Please stop by if you can

Yelp
I've been a fan of their burgers, egg sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches! Tried their breakfast burrito, and it did not disappoint! I love the smokey bacon and the salsa that comes with it. The salsa is such a good addition, and is very refreshing.

Yelp
Cafe Et Cetera is located inside Blossom Market Hall, between tensevenrolls and Baking With Ish. So far, I've tried the Holy Moly Chicken Sandwich, chicken salad, tater tots, and banana crepe. Everything was delicious. Sometimes I order tater tots to-go, and they were always nice and crispy. Their tea is also refreshing. I enjoyed the passionfruit green tea, and it went well with the sandwich and tots. Shout out to Jessica and Alice for their excellent service! They always have a smile on their face, and they're so kind.

Yelp
Cafe is located inside Blossom market. Not busy on a Sunday morning, only 1 worker so there was a bit of a wait for our food since we were a party of 6. Food was a 9/10 only docked a point because I like my food burning hot and it was just warm. I ordered the egg lover sandwich, my son ordered the Holy moly chicken sandwich and strawberry crepe. If you are in the area make sure to stop by. To note there is plenty of seating as this is a food hall and a big parking lot

Yelp
Review update: The owner reached out via private message and clarified the situation; I appreciate owners who take the time to reach out and clarify and promise better services for their customers. Given the circumstance that Jian Bin will be retired from the menu (given the limited number of chefs able to prepare it) and the owner's promise to raise customer service, I revised my review slightly to reflect the owner's commitment to making this place offer good food and great customer service at the same time. The review is also revised to reflect the more appropriate specialties at this place as recommended by the owner: Holy Moly chicken sandwich, BAE sandwich, or Deluxe crepe for other customers' references. I will update my rating when I have a chance to try out these as well. Cafe Et Cetera is located in a small food square right in the Mission District of San Gabriel. The food square features many small shops with a variety of menus and cuisines, this being one of them. I decided to try this shop mainly due to its featured attraction of "Jian Bin", a Chinese-style breakfast that features crispy innards with egg, chives, and hotdog/sausage wrapped in a crepe. To be frank, perhaps I had high hopes for this due to all the YouTube videos I have watched with mukbangers enjoying this dish, I found the Jian Bin to be quite underwhelming. The taste is OK; it is just not that delicious or even flavorful. Added on top, the front desk waiter is honestly not very friendly and could use a bit of a service upgrade. Technically, this place features other French-style crepes as well, but I did not get a chance to try.

Yelp
Crepe was meh. Had better. I had the deluxe crepe. Popcorn chicken was decent. Tots were just tots. Nothing really special about this place. I could have skipped it and move to the next restaurant
google avatar

Juan F.

Yelp
This is probably the only stand at the Blossom Market Hall that I have not tried so I gave it a shot. I got the BAE (Bacon, Avocado, Egg) Burger with a side of fries and popcorn chicken. Honestly, the BAE reminded me of Eggslut so that tells you it was really good. Fries and the salad that it came with were meh. But the popcorn chicken was a hit with the kids. Overall, a really good spot that exceeded my expectations!
google avatar

Sean P.

Yelp
Came here for a quick dessert and was not disappointed. Our crepe came out fairly quickly. We ordered a strawberry banana crepe. The crepe batter was fluffy. The crepe was full of filling but not overpacked. The flavor was delicious. Almond was a nice touch. Tip: if you can't find a table. Check up stairs. The stairs are located in the front of the restroom. The upstairs has a nice and quiet seating area if you're looking for a peaceful dining experience.

Yelp
~~~SAVE THE JIAN BING!~~~ WATCH THE EPISODE: FIELD DAY² BLOSSOM MARKET HALL (YT:@BULGOGIBOMBER) The owner was super nice and recommended to try the Jian Bing since I could not decide on what to get. And boy, I'm so glad I ordered it. The Jian Bing is more of a savory, egg based crepe with that soft texture but gets a nice crunch with fried wontons. Hurry and come try this as it may be taken off the menu in the near future!
google avatar
Claudia S.
Yelp
Had a very filling and very delicious breakfast burrito. It wasn't on their menu but was advertised as a daily special. I'm sure the rest of their dishes are just as yummy. Located inside the Blossom Market. Great atmosphere and there is also a second floor where you can plug in your laptop. There are several other vendors inside but this will definitely be my go to spot for a breakfast burrito. Server was pleasant and helpful.
Yelp
Located inside 'Blossom Market Hall,' in the City of San Gabriel, I stumbled across this Cafe was because they offered Crepes on their menu. They are easy to find as they are a corner cafe from the stage side. Customer Service was fast and efficient. I was in and outta here within thirty minutes. They hand you your receipt and a beeper so you can walk around the market hall while waiting for your order to explore the vicinity. They provide tall stools to dine in inside on top of Blossom Market Hall's outdoor seating. Their Sweet Crepe turned out delish: the banana pieces were plentiful and fresh. I got the Banana Crepe to go. Will be back to try another dessert next time I'm back in San Gabriel.
google avatar
Janice Z.
Yelp
Not a busy day at all yet waited for 30 mins right in front of the cashier's desk for a chicken sandwich, turned out they missed my order. Not to mention I obviously have their pager in my hand, there's no signs of trying to apologize or wutsoever. Food is good, but definitely not the service.
google avatar
May L.
Yelp
They did an amazing job. I have always loved this dish and it's been hard to find in my area. The event was catered and they were extremely professional, served up great food, and had customizations. I highly recommend it. This meal soothed my soul. Truly comfort food.
google avatar
Yelp
The BEST Chinese pan cake ever! I've tried all the Chinese pan cakes in LA and I've finally found the best one. Fresh made after order, crispy and soft crepe( salted, not the sweet one) one bite, it brings me back to China and all the memories. Located inside blossoms market in San gabriel. I can't wait to come back for another one or two! lol
google avatar
Yelp
This is my second time eating here. And I have to say, it's worth coming to this food court just for this place. The food comes fast. The service is excellent. And the taste is soooo good. Well worth the cost. Prior to this trip I got a fried chicken sandwich which was excellent. This time the burger was very nostalgic with a perfect sunny side up egg. Cheddar cheese and real bacon. The popcorn chicken is in the style you'd find at an authentic boba place. It's a delightful Crispy outside and warm juicy inside. All and all the only critique I could muster is they don't have pickles. Which in the grand scheme of things isn't that big a deal. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes chicken and burgers. :)
Omar G.
Yelp
Love getting passion fruit ice tea from here. The large portion is a lot and super yummy. Obsessed with it! The service is great and always clean and friendly. Please support this local business and entrepreneurs.
google avatar
Christyl J.
Yelp
Finally checked out the Blossom Market and this place seemed the most interesting. Got the spicy chicken sandwich and the regular chicken sandwich with tots and both we super flavorful, chicken was juicy and the tots were nicely salted and crunchy on the outside. We got a mango green tea and a passion fruit lemonade, both were great. Also got the strawberry cheesecake crepe and they was amazing. Not super sweet, a lot of sliced strawberries. Highly recommend!
google avatar
Yelp
Nothing can be better than having a Breakfast sandwich as supper. ;) What can I say I crave for an all day breakfast meal. Café Et Cetera is a small crêpe and sandwich shop and one of the food vendors at Blossom Market Hall. They have good selection of drinks, breakfast sandwiches and crepes albeit limited. Staff was friendly, competent and followed health protocol. Service was moderately fast. Prices were reasonable. I ordered a Lemonade and and Egg Lover Sandwich (with salad and tater tots). The egg sandwich served over a sweet bun was delicious; egg was creamy good as well as its special sauce dressing. Tater tots and salad taste good and fresh. Moreover, I like their lemonade. It's refreshing! Overall, I enjoyed my food and convenient service. I highly recommend them and will come back again.
google avatar
Gloria L.
Yelp
Got to try the dessert crepe and it was decent. I ordered their deluxe crepe and opted for no chocolate sauce. It came with a generous amount of strawberries and bananas wrapped in a large crepe made fresh to order. The crepe was large and tasted alright, but it was definitely on the pricey side of ~$14 with tax. I think the fruit options are really limited and the deluxe crepe basically has all the toppings they have to offer. Overall it's nice to have a crepe spot nearby and I'm glad I tried it out. They also offer burgers, sandwiches, and other snacks as well.
Jacquline W.
Yelp
This is my go-to chicken sandwich place! Every time I get their chicken sandwiches, it is perfectly seasoned and it comes with the best tater tots. Jessica, who has always taken my order, is very sweet and always has such a wonderful attitude whenever I see her! Definitely will be returning in the future and recommending to others!!
google avatar
Bonnie Y.
Yelp
the BAE sandwich was really yummy! the fluffy eggs, bacon and avocado compliments very well with the brioche bread. the tater tots were disappointing though, it wasn't crispy or flavorful... I'll probably try the fries next time. salad is basic - but completes the meal well. I'd come back and try the crepe or the chicken sandwiches! good service! they forgot the avocado when we picked up the sandwich and they were able to locate us and apologize before we even took our first bite.
google avatar
Maddie V.
Yelp
Amazing love the variety of options. Friendly service. And lots of seating available. I highly recommend the egg and bacon sandwich which comes with a side salad and tater tot's
Yelp
tl;dr: decent chicken sandwich, barely okay tater tots. High price~meh value. Dude, we all know American-influenced breakfast has been the hype for how long now. Everyone wants an aesthetically pleasing photo of their 'breakfast' to add to their highlights and I think this place is just trying to cash in on that. I got the chicken sandwich which comes with the tater tots. Why doesn't this come with salad like the other sandwiches/burgers? I want a salad too :( Coleslaw in the sandwich is a condiment, not a substitute for a salad imo. If their prices were lower, I would've gotten more to try in one sitting. $15 after-tax, I was okay full but wasn't fully satisfied. The experience felt lacking. Chicken breast itself was hot and tender; seasoned quite lightly with a buttermilk-taste marinade and crispy on the outside. A few thick chunks of batter stayed crispy even though it was already in a sandwich, not bad. The batter was nothing too special but was crispy and had a nice crunch in the first initial bites. The chicken size was barely okay for $15; it was like 3/8" thick (Popeyes is thicker). There were no special flavors that would incite me to try it again; my taste buds didn't get excited much. The spicy mayo is not that alluring (tastes like their own less flavorful In-n-Out spread with a light hint of spicy sauce), and I would not call it spicy (milder than black pepper lmao). It's like they were trying to skip the pickles, threw relish into the mix (hence similar to In-n-Out spread) and added some sriracha/spicy sauce just for the color. Brioche bread was the right choice and toasted nicely, I will give them that. The coleslaw was not bad honestly, but I'd like it outside the sandwich for the next reason I will get to. It's a good sandwich, ruined by the price and how watery the slaw and spicy mayo spread becomes. In the end, my sandwich was sweating out so much juice even the sandwich wrap couldn't save it that I needed two napkins to hold the sandwich together. The fact that it became watery made the chicken lose its crispiness within 5 minutes or so. This sandwich would be subpar if gotten delivered or to-go. The chicken seems like the type that would lose flavor after getting cold since there wasn't much to start with. They need a thicker mayonnaise (both coleslaw and spicy mayo use it obviously), so I think that fucked it up. Sandwiches aren't supposed to drip that much juice (look at pics) unless you got a triple bacon cheeseburger oozing with saturated cow lipidy goodness. This wasn't chicken juice drippings, this was water from the sauces. It tasted like a good & simple homemade chicken sandwich. I feel like I was nitpicking. For the price tho....I had better chicken sandwiches; I would definitely pick up 3 Popeyes chicken sandwiches than this honestly. Tater tots were fried at the wrong temperature (gotta be 325 F+ for defrosted or 350 F+ for frozen) because they were not that crispy and had a glistening amount of oil left between the crevices of potatoes. The serving temperature was cold too as well. This place needs to understand that you fry the chicken first then the tots so their serving temperature would match, not at the same time for that the tots chill while the chicken is still saunaing in the deep fryer. I had a hot chicken sandwich with barely warm taters :/ If you're serving run-of-the-mill taters, fry them correctly, please. Regular ketchup with regular tots. This doesn't feel like it belongs in a $15 meal. I won't give this place lower than 4 stars because they just started. They need to work on providing a better experience for the money spent. I know it's a food court (are we supposed to expect lower food prices for the shared space or hype-expensive trendy eats like food festivals? idk, someone pls tell me), but this place tastes like someone just had money to open their first food place and trying to be crafty with the show but not flavors. It didn't seem like a chef opened this place based on the tastes and offerings. I will try their other stuff on the menu later so the 4 stars stay for now. More like 3.5 stars tbh
google avatar
Mike C.
Yelp
Their strawberry cheesecake crepe was pretty good! A little bit too sweet. But the main reason for the 3 star review is that they charge $15 for this crepe. Yes, the crepe was good but not AMAZING to a point where I think it's worth $15. It's also pretty small. Probably will not be coming back personally.
Yelp
Cafe Et Cetera is my go-to crepe spot to date. My order is always the same: Deluxe. I swear I've gone here at least 3 times a week at some point because I'm obsessed with the crepes. Something about the deluxe just hits the spot. Their fruit is always good quality and the ratios of everything are spot on. The flavor and texture of the crepe is as it should be. The employees here are very kind and they make orders quickly! This location is located inside Blossom Market Hall FYI.
google avatar
Natalia M.
Yelp
Wow wow wow! Such a tasty and delicious place! Been going here for 3 years now and the food quality has continued to please each and every customer! Love the crepes too! Highly recommend #9! I hope this place continues to stay in Blossom Market!
google avatar
Victor M.
Yelp
Blossom Market Hall is a nice food hall in San Gabriel and with many choices, Cafe Et Cetera is one food stall that you should not pass up on. The food here is fresh and tasty. They offer all sorts of breakfast items, burgers, sandwiches and dessert crepes. I thoroughly enjoyed for lunch their buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with cole slaw and a delicious spicy mayo on a soft brioche bun. The sandwich also comes with nice and crispy tater tots! I can't wait for my next visit to try their Jianbin which I hear is one of the best in town.
google avatar
Thomas L.
Yelp
Located in the San Gabriel blossom Hall, this cafe features sandwiches, burgers, and my favorite, crapes! Lots of the entrees are breakfast focused and lots of their menu utilizes egg, the most godly ingredient! I got an Etc burger. It's a pretty big burger with crispy tots that come with the meal. The burger tastes great but nothing crazy unique about it. The price is decent for location and what you get, but I will update my review next time I come with room for crapes!
Yelp
It's a breakfast/dessert spot within blossom market hall which has plenty of free parking in the back. The service is quick and kind. We asked for the crepe to be extra crispy and they did it great. So good! I always come here for crepes and I think it's the best spot within San Gabriel/TC/Arcadia. The pricing is similar to other crepe spots. I like here bc it's quick, not too loud, and plenty of seating. The market hall itself has other options like boba, coffee, viet, tacos, dumplings, sushi, Mediterranean, Caribbean and a small bar.
