Café Forth

Café Forth is a winner. Phenomenal cappuccino—one of the best I’ve ever had. Rich and full bodied, delicious with vanilla and cinnamon, plus they serve it in lovely mugs. I love that they make their own syrups and the beans are locally roasted at Tenfold. Barista was very friendly, helpful, and skilled. Beautiful, inviting, and spacious interior with vaulted ceilings, excellent natural lighting from the floor to ceiling windows/doors, lots of seating with plenty of options for standing while you work, industrial modern vibes with wood accents and house plants, plus it’s inside a cute boutique called Forth & Nomad. Great place to go for working or hanging out. Nice location. Free parking in the lot. I highly recommend Café Forth!

Although this place is quiet and a perfect place to study, I ordered their matcha latte and all the powder sank to the bottom due to a lack of sifting. I paid a hefty price and I expected the matcha to at least not clump together at the bottom. It tasted really milky and bland. The worker was really cold too. I won’t recommend.

Friendly and bright coffeeshop in the Forth and Nomad store. Variety of seating, drinks are solid (but pricier), there's plenty of natural light and a few charge ports. 2/23/25: Updated to remove incorrect reference to the Tenfold coffe store

loved everything on my first visit great vibe, coffee and goat cheese croissant They have breakfast tacos too but they get sold out very fast. idk abt the other reviews on the matcha maybe they upgraded but the matcha i tried today from my first time here was very good! i got almond milk with lavender honey , im really picky with my matcha and their matcha latte impressed me so i recommend giving it a try !

I had high hopes for this place, but my experience was disappointing from start to finish. The barista didn’t greet me or smile—just looked visibly annoyed when I asked if the 7 dollar matcha was ceremonial grade. I brushed it off, thinking maybe she was just having a long day. When I tried to pay in cash, she replied in a condescending tone, “We don’t take cash here.” Not a huge deal, but the attitude was unnecessary. The matcha itself was the worst part. There were visible clumps at the bottom like it hadn’t been sifted properly, and the taste was incredibly off—more like whole milk with a dash of matcha powder. No sweetener at all, and when I asked about it, I was told, “Ceremonial matcha can’t be sweetened.” Sadly, I won’t be coming back.

The interior is cute with lots of small plants and bohemian feel. Their Teddy Graham and Not a Macchiato are my favorite drinks. The Not a Macchiato is a latte with vanilla and caramel syrup and is balanced and not too sweet. The Teddy Graham has cinnamon and honey. The staff was friendly, and the drinks were made quick. There are also some breakfast tacos in the morning. Overall, Cafe Forth has great coffee that you can grab while you browse around the shops inside.

It always makes my day coming here. Staff is always friendly, I love the pastries/food they offer, and the coffee is some of my favorite in town. Get the iced teddy graham and thank me later!!! 😊

I was on the hunt for a pick me up. Saw this pop up on my Waze and stopped in. I don't know if they have food because I have looking for espresso. But the service was great! Ambiance seemed chill and a place quiet enough to get work done if needed. I didn't stay to check out the shop but it's on my radar! I got the "not a macchiato" with pistachio milk so good! I'm glad the barista subtly talked me into it. New fave unlocked! Check them out!

The ambiance is nice. There's a cute patio area for your pets. You can order inside or online. There's also a store inside. It's a nice place to bring someone to have a nice chat and hangout. There was a little boutique, sitting area, permanent jewelry inside among coffee. I think the drinks were reasonable priced. I would go again!

Cafe Forth is such a cozy and yummy spot! I tried their matcha and it was absolutely delicious--smooth, creamy, and just the right balance of flavor. The service there is so sweet as well! What makes this place even better is that it's connected to small local shops inside, so it's perfect for hanging out, exploring, and just taking your time. Great vibes all around & will definitely come back soon!

First time trying this coffee shop at Forth & Nomad. I ordered the iced Teddy Graham drink. It was delicious :) flavor is cinnamon and mildly sweet. There were some cute dogs hanging out inside and the ambiance is chill. The full 4th & Nomad shop attached is very cute. Baristas are friendly, service was quick, my coffee was ready in a few minutes even though it was busy. Great spot for a coffee on this beautiful spring day!

I've been to forth and nomad a handful of times to get last minute gifts and I've always wanted to try their coffee. I had the chance to stop by this weekend and was met with a full parking lot. I ended up parking a few streets away and then standing in a twelve person line. I ordered the teddy graham latte and waited about another 15+ min for my coffee. After waiting more than 30 min I was disappointed to see a cup that was only filled 3/4 of the way because they were already running out of ice before noon. The iced latte also left a lot to be desired. The drink wasn't too sweet at least but just tasted like milk with a hint of coffee. Overall, there are much better coffee shops in the area with better parking and shorter wait times that I'd definitely recommend over this spot.

Cute place for coffee with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We both had cappuccinos this morning and they were good. We would come back to try their other drinks. Recommended!

Love this coffee shop. The staff was great with greeting and taking orders and very accommodating and social. It made me feel right at home when coming to relax on the couch and just have a vibe for a few hours. Basically everyone in the coffee shop was connected to Wi-Fi and working on something. They also have clothing in the back if you get the itch to do a little shopping while sipping on your coffee. The space is large so there is plenty of room to spread out your work and get things done on your laptop. The ambiance is also quiet, it's not allowed or busy coffee shop. It was very relaxing. The only downside is the parking, the parking lot is very small and all of the parking around the place is labeled for other businesses and they are park & tow service so be careful where you park.

The Coffee Bar/Cafe Forth is an enjoyable coffee shop within a boutique shop called Forth and Nomad. The coffee is excellent and they have many different brew styles. When we went, the beans were sourced from a Dallas roaster that we really enjoy. There isn't a ton of seating in there but that is because there is a lot of area for shopping for clothes, candles, etc. It is a nice addition to the Heights Market area.

Absolutely love cafe forth!! This is probably my new favorite cafe. Everytime I grab a coffee from here, it is absolutely delicious and exactly what I need. The baristas are also super friendly. The vibe is more modern and aesthetic with lots of cute decor and plants. It's great to just sit down and enjoy the coffee or even shop around at the forth and nomad shop. It's a great place to do work as there's many plug outlets too. Sometimes it can get a bit busy in the mornings but the baristas usually work fast. The parking next to the building can get a little full during the day but there is always nearby street parking as usual in the heights area.

The barista was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and has a nice aesthetic. It was a nice surprise that there was a shop connected to it for shopping as well as permanent jewelry. I got a Teddy Graham latte that was very tasty.

What a cute cafe! I came here on a Sunday afternoon and was able to find a parking spot right outside of the entrance. They have a handful of spots which is pretty convenient. When you walk inside, it feels pretty relaxing because of the greenery and nice warm colors. I had the mocha latte which was good but definitely have to go back to try their Teddy Graham coffee which sounds simply amazing. The service was good and quick. What I really liked about this place was the different vendors that are set up in the back, market style. Nothing better than sipping coffee and shopping!

Cafe Forth is located in Forth and Nomad, a Women's clothing store in the Heights. As far as parking is considered, it's what you would expect in the Heights (and Houston in general nowadays) - limited spots in the smallest area possible. Parking is rough and you may have to go back and FORTH to find a space. Upon entry, this coffee shop/clothing store is very pleasing to the eye. They use a combination of natural wood color with warm lighting to create a "homey" feel. I ordered the "Not so macchiato latte" which is their vanilla and caramel iced latte. This beverage is very sweet (which I prefer). Additionally, they serve breakfast burritos until 1 PM, which I plan to try next time. Overall, the store (which has things outside of Women's clothing) is a major feature and plus to this cafe.

This is my new favorite coffee shop (well, it doesn't hurt that it's right next to my house). Everything I've gotten here is really good. My go to is iced chai latte with almond milk. They have breakfast tacos which are really good and also some pastries. They have mini croissants but I do wish they had more options. It's located in Fourth & Nomad, a clothing shop so it's nice to browse around while having coffee.

This Chai latte has me in a chokehold!!! It's very quiet and a great space to get work done with comfortable seating. The service is really great nice and informative. And they have this cute store with different vendors in the back to shop!

We came in on a busy Sunday. Space inside is minimalist with a small boutique in the back. Plenty of seating inside and outside to work and get stuff done. I got the Teddy Graham drink with cinnamon. Coffee was good but not sure if I would come back. Location is in the heights so we had to walk a bit to the cafe due to parking on the street.

Yay! I got to try the matcha latte that was out of stock during my last visit. I added a shot of simple syrup for the sweetener, and it was so lovely. The place was bustling for a Friday morning, but I didn't mind waiting a little. They sold out of breakfast tacos pretty early, so I assume they must be quite good. The barista, (I think I heard his name was Jonathan) was so friendly and personable with each customer. The atmosphere is wonderful for work and I like how the long tables have easy access to outlets hanging down from above. I also appreciate that the music is not too loud, and most of all, that the establishment is dog friendly!

Vibe- This cozy coffee shop is inside of a women's clothing store and it's a vibe! There's seating outside and a nice amount of seating inside. Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got a pumpkin spice chai with oatmilk and a matcha latte with oatmilk and lavender honey; they were both good BUT of course the matcha was my favorite. Parking- There's a good amount of spots in the lot next to the building.

Cozy little coffee shop inside of Forth & Nomad, a women's clothing store in the Heights. Not a lot of seating indoors but they do have patio space outside. Also hard to find parking because their parking lot is really small so you may have to park a little farther and walk. Good tea and coffee selection to choose from. Baristas were really nice.

Had an amazing Friday thanks to Angela who was so friendly and helpful,the atmosphere is immaculate and to top it off enjoyed my matcha.

Loved the coffee here, the atmosphere and aesthetic is a plus, but the staff are so friendly! The barista Angela was helpful and recommended that I try the Teddy Graham and it was so good. 10/10 would recommend

The coffee itself was not bad but it wasn't the best I ever had. It would probably be a 4 if it wasn't 7.45 for a cup. I would go back if friends wanted to go but it isn't a place I would frequent.

Cumulative 20 minute wait time to be told there was no ice and i had the choice of a refund or under-filled, lukewarm tea. I'm no stranger to over-priced tea and coffee, which i won't complain about on its surface, but this service is disappointing.

This used to be my go to place for a hot chai but things have changed. It used be smooth with a bit of spice but now it just tastes like warm milk. I went two different times with a couple months between to give them the benefit of the doubt but they were unsatisfactory both times. I have no complaints about the lovely service and ambiance but the chai was my only reason for coming here and I will not be returning.

I came here to do some work on a Thursday morning. Inside seating isn't huge but they had places to sit since it wasn't too crowded. I orders an iced match and added lavender honey syrup. It was good but I couldn't taste the lavender honey. It's attached to a store which was super cute. They had some other drinks on the menu that sounded unique. Definitely a good spot to get a drink and get some work done!

We wanted to try the Mamaka Acai Bowls and parked near Forth & Nomad. Parking is limited for sure, but we got lucky with someone leaving. We went to Forth & Nomad and they have beautiful clothes, great cook books, an area to get a bracelet made and candles. Super cute spot. They have the Coffee Bar inside and I got an iced latte with lavendar honey. Not as good as Ola Cafe.. to be honest. My husband got the espresso tonic with lemonade and really loved it. Definitely a cute spot, great workers and nice indoor/outdoor seating! Definitely check it out!

I'm not a big coffee drinker but the barista Angela behind the counter was so helpful and kind. She made my whole experience and day better with her great personality and recommendation. I ended up getting the teddy graham and I really loved it. Angela was very talkative and warm and really helped steer me in the right direction. She was also super cute and I may ask her for her number next time! I can't recommend cafe forth highly enough especially when Angela is working behind the counter

I stopped by for the first time ever and I was pleasantly surprised by the richness of the coffee here. I was helped by Angela Molina who was so helpful in helping me choose the right coffee for me. She went above and beyond to help me and then prepared the best tasting coffee, thank you Angela and Cade Forth! Will be coming for my daily coffee runs.

Angela is the best barista I've ever met! She's so sweet and helpful and is always happy to see you when you walk through the door. Great place to visit and even better service!

Too much trouble for a cup of coffee on a Sunday. The parking is meh. Small lot and way too many people. It's inside of a clothing boutique. There are a few tables and chairs inside as well as outdoor seating. There was 1 worker on a Sunday working the inside and the window for the outside. The worker was nice but it was too busy for 1 person. We ordered inside but asked if we sat outside, would she be able to let us know when the drinks were ready. She said yes. We waited and waited. And finally went inside and saw that our drinks were patiently waiting on the counter. Eek. Had better cappuccinos but it served it's purpose. If I lived close by and could walk, it might have been a better experience. But after stalking people just to park then waiting, it just wasn't worth the trouble.

Very cute aesthetic. Set in a great area to get some coffee and walk around. Walkable and inside a shop. Would recommend.

Pretty decor inside. Any place that sells a straw hat for $70 better be pretty. I didn't even check the candle prices but they're probably not below $38 each. Do people who shop at places like this feel good about themselves or don't care at all because they have too much money to burn - literally? $6.50 for an iced matcha latte with fruity pebbles and honey with oat milk, but it was delicious. I would get it again.

Had an iced coffee from here last weekend while visiting friends in Houston. Was surprised to see that this coffee spot is part of a larger building that includes several spots for purchasing boutique items like clothing, books, jewelry and trinkets. My coffee was flavorful with just the right amount of ice. There were several other offerings available including lattes, teas and some seasonal drinks. The employees were friendly and helpful!

I love this spot for delicious coffee and beautiful sunshine pouring in through the windows during late morning. So cozy!

service was amazing thanks to Angela! it was my first time in Houston and she was such a fresh face to see and so welcoming and knowledgeable about the drinks and Houston in general. i got the matcha latte and it was made with so much care. i will definitely stop by again when I'm back!

The Coffee Bar is a cute spot with lightning-fast service, but when it comes to the coffee, it's pretty standard. We barely had time to blink, and we were in-and-out within minutes. Within quite literally 20 seconds of completing our payment, we had our iced vanilla latte in hand. The barista had already begun the order as we were saying out aloud. That said, the espresso's strength left a little something to be desired. The to-go window and checkout was not in service. Parking is a little difficult and we had to come from across the street.

A solid spot. I went on a weekday after a Dr. Appt. I took my book, and grabbed a coffee. It's a very chill place. As you can see from the photos, it looks like it's straight out of a magazine. Neutral vibes all about. The staff are friendly, the coffee is good, and the breakfast tacos are hot. Personally, I like the outdoors. When I went, the front patio was all sun, so I posted up like a gargoyle on the side patio, and enjoyed a few chapters.

I LOVED that it was set up as a coffee shop, but also had so many fun little shops and an outside patio as well. The food was a bit expensive but very yummy. It wasn't the best for intense focus/studying, but I had a blast taking lots of breaks to shop around.

This place used be good when they had legit baristas. In the past several trips here, we would place our order and wait 15-20min and only to realize the baristas have forgotten our order. All this was happening when they were not even busy. Please train up your people to be more professional!

Hidden gem of a coffee place. They have a few tables and outlets for doing work. Coffee selection is great and definitely has a bougie vibe. Be mindful that it's literally inside of a store. They have free WiFi and bathrooms though so I'm def a fan of doing work here.

Beautiful coffee and local artisan shop selling cute jewelry, clothing, artwork, and home decor. I did some shopping while waiting for my chai, I ended up buying an art print which I've already hung up in my home. :) Their chai is also yummy, one of my favorites in the area. Gorgeous space, would recommend checking out!

Went for the first time yesterday but I used the walk up window instead of walking into Forth & Nomad. Great selection of pasties from Koffeteria in Eado so you if love them then look no further! I got a caramel latte and it had a nice buttery flavor to it that wasn't too sweet. I appreciate the walk up window during covid. The coffee bar open at 7 am Monday through Friday and 8 am Saturday and Sunday.

A great neighborhood spot! You can order ahead with the RDY app and they have your drink waiting for you. Also, they have yummy breakfast tacos and pastries. You can bring your dog inside or they have a big patio out front with tables to chill at. I usually get the chai which is nice and spicy.

Delicious cold brew and best decaf oat milk cappuccino. Their crepes are also amazing. This is a great place to hangout. They even have sandwiches!!! I have yet to try them but I will soon!

Super cute location and adorable store inside. I made a purchase in the store and sat outside under an umbrella eating a bowl I purchased from little house next door. An employee came out and asked me to move telling me umbrellas were for coffee purchases only, even though I I just made a purchase inside. Disappointed that they asked me to move and tables were open :(
