I spent my 27th birthday at Cafe Ginori, and I had the most intimate and wonderful experience. First, what a treat it is to walk through Bergdorf Goodman before sitting down to dine. This is the most gorgeous spot, perfect for lovers of Italian food, beauty, and luxury gazing. Our food was incredible, and our server Jillian made us feel welcomed and very special. She even went so far as to bring me a birthday treat on their earlier in the day china, since she knew I was hoping to experience them. It was a very kind gesture, and I’m sure it must have added to clean-up time and prep for the next day behind the scenes, and I so appreciated that generosity by everyone on the staff. Best birthday dinner ever- thank you Cafe Ginori, and I can’t wait to return!

Can't believe I've never been here before!!!! Our fine jewelry rep, Marylu, asked if we wanted dessert and took us down to Ginori. Very nicely decorated with plates, vases, and other items that you can buy on the 7th floor. Flowers by Venus de Fleur provided on every table. Very nice atmosphere. Tea service was amazing and if you like a tiramisu that has a stronger coffee flavor, than this is for you. Server was polite, funny, and attentive. Can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved it here! The vibe was amazing, and everything from the tableware to the presentation was on point. The food didn’t disappoint either—especially the tiramisu and the pistachio tart, both were so good. It was a bit of a challenge with the kids, but overall, we had a great experience. We were there for dinner, but next time we’re definitely coming back to try the sand coffee. By the way, their tea was amazing—highly recommend it

The space is undeniably charming — beautifully decorated, cozy, and visually appealing. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The food was completely average, with nothing particularly memorable in terms of taste or quality. And not even the coffee was good. But the most concerning part was the service. The staff was cold, distant, and not at all warm. At no point did we feel welcomed. For a café that clearly presents itself as elegant, well-curated, and priced at a premium, one would expect professional, attentive service — on par with the treatment you receive at places like Bergdorf Goodman. Unfortunately, that level of hospitality was not present. The experience felt awkward and disconnected, which clashed with the otherwise polished aesthetic of the space. For the same price, there are countless cafes in New York offering truly delicious food, excellent coffee, and — most importantly — a team that knows how to make guests feel genuinely welcome from the start. I wouldn’t return, and I can’t recommend it.

The atmosphere was beautiful, but the food was just average for the price. I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this café. When I politely asked if we could split the bill, the cashier responded with a cold and rude attitude. Her tone seemed to imply that my English wasn’t good enough. She made no effort to assist, which left me feeling unwelcome. When she set our table, she carelessly placed the utensils down with a loud noise and didn’t arrange them properly. It felt disrespectful and unprofessional. At checkout, despite the poor service, she told us, “Tip is not included,” in a tone that felt more like a demand than a reminder. I’ve lived in New York for a while and fully understand tipping culture. I always tip when the service is normal. Even though the service was disappointing, I still left a tip. Overall, the staff’s attitude made us feel uncomfortable and undervalued as customers. It’s truly disappointing to have had this kind of experience in New York City — a place known for its diversity and openness. I hope the management takes this seriously and trains their staff to treat all guests with respect and professionalism. I will never return.

Best deserts in town in a charming and warming environment! My first time trying the new Ginori Cafe in BG and I can't wait to go back. The new Ginori Deco is vibrant and luxurious, with classic Ginori colors everywhere! The Tiramisu was devine, made to order and finished at our table by our friendly server. The Pistachio and Raspberries tart was my fav; so fresh and lavishly delicious. A classy and scrumptious afternoon treat in a truly beautiful setting !! *****

Although the setting is elegant and sophisticated, the food is truly disappointing. Prices are outrageous for what feels like a “fake Italian” experience, with portions so small it’s almost laughable. I was embarrassed when my parmigiana arrived: three thin slices of baked eggplant covered in a mix of pesto, tomato, and cream sauce—for $28. The waiter didn’t understand much and even gave us incorrect information. For these prices, the menu and portion sizes need serious improvement.

It’s small, beautiful & quaint cafe highlighting the infamous Ginori brand from Italy. Tucked away by the cosmetics section of Bergdorf Goodman in NYC. The windows were decorated to celebrate the grand opening which was mid July. You can have a cafe, cappuccino with dessert or a lovely salad with meal. A nice reprieve from the busy city!
