The space is undeniably charming — beautifully decorated, cozy, and visually appealing. However, the overall experience was disappointing.
The food was completely average, with nothing particularly memorable in terms of taste or quality. And not even the coffee was good.
But the most concerning part was the service. The staff was cold, distant, and not at all warm. At no point did we feel welcomed. For a café that clearly presents itself as elegant, well-curated, and priced at a premium, one would expect professional, attentive service — on par with the treatment you receive at places like Bergdorf Goodman.
Unfortunately, that level of hospitality was not present. The experience felt awkward and disconnected, which clashed with the otherwise polished aesthetic of the space. For the same price, there are countless cafes in New York offering truly delicious food, excellent coffee, and — most importantly — a team that knows how to make guests feel genuinely welcome from the start.
I wouldn’t return, and I can’t recommend it.
