"Cafe Grumpy in Chelsea has two big things going for it. The first is that there’s no wifi here, so you won’t be surrounded by 23-year-olds who are “thinking about thinking about applying law school.” The second thing is their plant-filled back garden. Sit here when it’s nice out, and drink something cold. Or hot, if you’re unfamiliar with how body temperatures work." - hannah albertine
"A convenient Rockefeller Center café where the author grabbed a small Tahitian vanilla latte that evoked a childhood scent memory; the single-shot tres leches latte choice underscored the shop’s approachable coffee offerings and its role as a quick, comforting stop between errands." - Rima Parikh, Sarah Kilcoyne
Delicious coffee, we had hot vanilla lattes on a super cold day and it was perfect. A little on the pricey end but worth it nonetheless.
It’s a walk in shop and very small, but you can walk down the hall to a seating area to enjoy your drink. Nice spot in Rockefeller Center.

Simple place. Good Chai latte. A seat would be nice but it's pretty cramped in there even without it. Great place for grab and go. Clean. Prices are fair. Great service. Very nice barista took care of us. If you're under the rock, stop in.

Small but fast service. Not a place to sit and talk with friends but great for on the go vibes. Simple menu and great service. I had their seasonal candy cane mocha and it’s my favourite.

Wanted coffee before we sat through a taping of the Kelly Clarkson show so we went downstairs and found this great coffee shop. I got the iced peppermint mocha and it was topped with little pieces of peppermint. Hands down the mintiest most fresh peppermint mocha I've had this season!!! The staff were so nice. Really friendly and service was quick. Very impressed with the barista skills of creating a design on top of my sisters latte as well!! Thrilled to find a coffee shop that just does coffee!!! Make sure you check this place out if you're looking for caffeine jolt while in New York City.

Very welcoming vibes, even early in the morning! Loved to see them using premium alternative milk options and the barista was great at giving recommendations. Good cappuccinos!

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Latte is made with care and worth the expensive price if you care about high quality. Seasonal flavors are awesome and I hope they do more of those to keep me coming back.

Google
The go-to spot in Midtown for consistently good coffee with fast and friendly service. Recommend their flat white!

Yelp
Loved the cold brew here. It was nice and smooth, not acidic. Came after the lunch rush, and there was no line, so drinks came out right away.

Yelp
Never grumpy after going to this place (ha ha). But for real, even though it's pricey I love the taste of their drinks. Lattes have the bold taste I look for, as someone who drinks their coffee black, without it mimicking a "burnt" flavor. The Tahitian vanilla is a tasty touch too if you don't mind spending extra. I appreciate that their matcha lattes aren't super sweet either! I do need to add sugar but it makes me feel like I'm getting the benefit of matcha versus a sugar bomb. I try to balance myself because I'm a major sweet tooth. Moral of the story, there are plenty of great options for coffee and tea drinkers here!

Yelp
Coffee spot in Rockefeller Center indoor promenade with friendly service. $12 for vanilla latte and americano. Medium line at 3p, which I found comforting. Drinks ready in under 3 min. Perfect pick me up for midday. No sweets to enjoy but hey, it's NYC - many more places to explore.

Yelp
Great coffee spot for a quick cozy warm me up. My coffee was cutely crafted and flavorful.

Yelp
Enjoyed my ice cold Hibiscus Fruit Punch, until my daughter stole it from me to wash down her chocolate chip cookie from Chip City down the hall. Teenagers Coffee was also good, but it can be quite busy as alot of people are getting coffee to wait in line to go to the Top of the Rock. This is a grab and go place - no seats and waiting area can be cramped depending on how big a line there is. At the time we went (Sunday morning), there was only one person taking orders and making coffee - but he was working hard and efficiently. Gotta be patient, not his fault if you're running late to your call time at the Rockefeller (looking at you tourists!)
Cute logo- wish I had gotten a tote bag!

Yelp
Coffee was mid, but I'm a sweet ice coffee kind of person. I would go to another coffee place, don't go out of your way. Service was decent.

Yelp
On a wet rainy day this seemed like the appropriately named place for me. It was nice and clean and dry inside, and the service was quick and efficient. It's rare I get a good cup of black coffee lately, but this one was great. I'll come back, even on a nice day when I'm not in a bad mood.

Yelp
The coffee was pretty good but you pretty much make the coffee yourself unless u get one of the specialty drinks

Yelp
Coffee is good, but unfortunately there are no places to sit to enjoy. Great for grabbing a cup, but we wound up around the corner at The Tipsy Baker, where you can enjoy a fresh baked scone, chocolate croissant, a latte/cappuccino or bread pudding.

Yelp
A little challenging to find in the underground food court at Rockefeller Center. It is a tiny space with no seating space. They offer a mix of coffee, lattes, and teas. Got the white peony tea, which comes in a mesh tea bag (approx $4). Staff could be a little friendlier. Lol I guess it is grumpy cafe.

Yelp
I love coming here for a latte on my lunch break. The baristas are so kind, and my drink is always perfection!

Yelp
This place is great! Really cozy. The latte I got was great. The barista was really helpful.
