Café Il Cortile

I came here to celebrate my close friend and loved the service. Our waiter, James, was the sweetest person ever. He made our entire experience even better. He took pictures of us and brought us a cake to celebrate my friend. The food was amazing and at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be coming back!!

Like an evening in an Italian piazza, the food is authentic Italian, the service is excellent, a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Montreal. Enjoyed an evening doing outdoors, the ambiance, decor and music transports you to Europe. Highly Recommended!!

Literally a hidden gem! A fantastic Italian restaurant in downtown Montreal. Most of the tables in an alleyway and decorated with lots of flower. The food are very authentic.

Il Cortile is the real deal. The food is always excellent, the service is sharp, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay all night. Dino runs a tight ship and his staff know how to treat people right—you feel welcome without any of the fake stuff you get at other places. It’s consistent, it’s classy, and it’s the kind of spot you can count on every time. I definitely recommend it.
