Cafe in the Woods does not exist - go to Coffee at Dawn for new info

This is absolutely my favorite south Whidbey coffee roaster and cafe. The Muk absolutely has my favorite coffee- HAPPY HIPPIE🎉. Whether you bike, walk or fly in you must definitely get coffee and the Huevos Rancheros 💞

Cute cute cute! Cozy shop with everything mismatched but it all goes together! The cups, chairs, and decor are a sweet mix of styles and make you feel at home. Food was all very tasty, especially the house made blueberry lemon muffin. Great spot!

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Biscuit eggs Benny. Bought some delicious Mukilteo coffee, met the roaster who is a delight! Service was pretty good since the we're packed!

One of my favorite cafés on the planet. Beautiful art and sculptures (big ones!) created by a local artist. Gorgeous dog-friendly back room and wooded back porch with heaters and a fire pit. Always great food and currently serving from outdoor stand on back porch.

Beautiful place for coffee and food. I highly recommend stopping by when you’re on Whidbey.

Friendly staff and clean .good portions. Espresso was on the bitter side. Could use some cutlery when breakfast came out.

Love the location of this cafe down some beautiful wooded roads. There is a big open patio are in the back and really nice wooden tables and decor inside. Can be a little confusing on your first visit, but you order and pay at the counter, then get a number before taking a seat and waiting. If it's busy you may want to make sure there's a place to sit before getting your food ordered, but once you're in its actually a great model because you can clean up your table and leave as soon as you are ready- no waiting around for your check. Will definitely be back!

Great coffee, plus huge selection of beans for home if you want! Everyone had a great attitude, atmosphere was warm and energetic. Food was excellent, it totally exceeded expectations. My only disappointment was that I wasn't in town long enough to try more of their menu.

If I lived on Whidbey Island, I would come here every day. I got a vanilla latte, and it tasted like roasted marshmallows! I especially love the ambiance of this place. You would never expect it from the outside, but it feels like stepping through a portal into another world. The outdoor seating is lovely too, with little areas tucked away between the bushes. The person who rang me up must have been new because I was a little confused by the menu. It showed cheesy waffles (gluten free) and regular waffles. I asked if the gluten free ones were only the cheesy version, and she said no. I was happy since I didn't want cheesy waffles, so I ordered the gluten free ones. When they arrived, I added syrup and took a bite, only to be surprised by a strong cheddar flavor. I am not a fan of sharp cheese with sweet syrup, so it was disappointing and I threw it away. If I had known they were the cheesy kind, I would have skipped the syrup and enjoyed them as savory waffles instead. I mentioned it to another employee afterwards. She apologized and told me that the gluten free waffle only comes in the cheesy option but she didn't offer to replace them. I met Dawn when I first arrived too. She was very nice and I enjoyed chatting with her. I also got a slice of gluten free cake to go. I don't remember what kind it was, but I ate it later that night as we caught a late ferry home, and it was absolutely delicious. I wish I had known how good it was because I would have bought more to bring home. This is definitely one of the many reasons I will return to the Island, and I am already excited for my next visit.

Warm and inviting while situated in the forest of Whidbey. Excellent coffee as well as delicious foods make this a super choice when looking to escape from the more 'busy' Langley.

This place just makes me happy. Coffee at Dawn is a cozy, woodsy haven with perfect coffee, amazing pastries, savory food, and the best pancakes I've ever had. Dawn and Julie have created something special. The warm cabin atmosphere and friendly staff make it a true Langley gem. I highly recommend.

The perfect place for a Mother's Day brunch for three generations of us. The food was mouthwatering (don't leave without a cheddar biscuit or the mini cheesecake!) and the hostess was charmingly perfect. Thank you for creating such a beautiful place on Whidbey! Can't wait to come back

Absolutely love this place! The artwork, the paint on the walls, the delicious food, amazing coffee, and the friendly baristas... fantastic! We needed a new breakfast spot on the South End and Dawn delivers.

What a find! Went here with relatives who live on Whidbey Island. Fantastic food, excellent coffee and beverage menu. Wonderful space, very charming and elevated gastronomic experience, Even took some pastries home to go. everyone there was extremely friendly! I would highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch.

Very good food and coffee/teas/cold drinks in the woods. On Crawford Road on Whidbey Island just about 10 minutes from the Clinton ferry dock. Lots of tables inside and outside in the forest garden. Lovely.

I had the Biscuit Hollandaise, my friend had the grilled cheese sandwich. I can't recommend either. The Hollandaise was really tasteless. The side of chicken sausage was good, though. The grilled cheese was just OK. For a lot less $, drive to Greenbank Deli for a fantastic sandwich.​
