"Cafe Jaffa (48 Gloucester St., Back Bay, Boston), which has been serving Middle Eastern food in the heart of Back Bay for nearly three decades, is for sale (but don’t worry — it’s still open.) The $350,000 price tag includes a beer and wine license, kitchen equipment (including gyro machines), and more." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Cafe Jaffa is an amazing establishment. The prices are affordable, if you know what to order. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice and the customer service is incredible. I ordered pickup on their website, and it was seamless from order to pickup. The portion was perfect for lunch. This seems like a great date spot in the evenings, especially with the ambient lighting and the “for two” options. I highly recommend their baba ganoush— it was smoky, smooth, and flavorful. The food left me feeling energized, and not at all sluggish. It is hard for me to find Mediterranean food in Boston that doesn’t leave me feeling heavy and tired; Cafe Jaffa is a rare exception.

Was here for a conference near Hynes convention centre and this place was only 5 min walking distance. Didn’t have any expectations and walked in for lunch. Got the mixed meat platter, the meat quality didn’t seem fresh. The rice was really bland and the salad seemed like it was pre made and frozen. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Visited during business trip to Boston. I got the Chicken Sharma with a bowl of salad, I was satisfied with the result (portion, taste)! Server was nice and quick.

The Turkish coffee tasted very mild. And the pita sandwich is somewhat cold and too salty for my taste.

Cafe Jaffa is an AMAZING place to eat! The service is exceptional. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating for our food allergies. The service was very quick! The food was excellent - its my favorite place to get middle eastern food in Boston. We ordered the chicken schwarma, falafel plate, rice pilaf and the humus plate. It was all delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone! It is the perfect place for a casual date or lunch break. They also do takeout orders, which is incredibly convenient if you are in a rush!

Cafe Jaffa is incredible. I come here every time I visit this beautiful Boston neighborhood. I've tried just about every item on the menu and the place never disappoints. The staff is friendly and their service is outstanding. If you live in Boston and haven't tried it, drop what you're doing and go right away. If you're just visiting, Cafe Jaffa is the perfect spot for lunch.

Great little restaurant in the Back Bay area. The food was absolutely delicious (especially the hummus!). The staff is very professional as well. I accidentally ordered the wrong item, and the waitress took it back and corrected it without any issue and a smile on her face! I was very impressed. If you're looking for a place for the family or a date night, this is a great option. Terrific casual atmosphere for any occasion. If you want middle eastern food, this is the best place in the citi!

Loved it! The kabob salad is terrific. It was a little cool with the a/c running that high because the grill is hot - and so is the food when it comes - the service was very good - just enough to keep things moving without feeling like they were hovering over. This is a gem of a place tucked in a short street - we parked on Newbury and walked over. I will look forward to getting back there really soon.
