Café Jedermann is hands down my favorite spot in Budapest. we went a few times, sometimes just for a beer, other times for a bite, and every visit was a great experience. the atmosphere is effortlessly cool and cozy, with music that always matched our taste.
The soups are seriously good and incredibly cheap...a perfect match for the low beer prices. and if you’re into Jazz, this place is a must. we were lucky enough to catch a concert by the amazing Bálint Gyémánt Trio, and it was unforgettable.
*If you want to see one of their two weekend shows, definitely book at least a week in advance - tickets go fast*
Even when the place was full, the staff was super nice and really attentive. there were usually only two waitresses and one bartender, but they always managed to keep things running smoothly, never making us wait too long. Really, really good staff.
Even if you can’t get a spot for a concert, it’s worth coming here on any other night just to soak in the vibe. I know I’ll be back, and if you’re in Budapest, I can’t recommend it enough...
