It is a very cozy place with limited seating and limited options on the menu, but the food is delicious. They serve some original preparations, and we really enjoyed eating something different. The pastry was delicious, and the coffee was great.

A lovely, cozy place not so far from the center, 15 minutes by tram and you are there. I like such cafes, simple, where the most important thing is quality. Good filtered coffee. The breakfast of champions is large and tasty. Fantastic sausages! But the best was the banana bread. Excellent, I could eat it every day. Friendly and professional service. Cool, a must-visit place in Prague.

Beautiful place for an early breakfast. Very nice to discover they start to work at 7.30 AM. Quite booked at the beginning of the day, we took the last place to sit around 8 AM. The queue of people is always there for take-away orders. The dishes were well done and tasty. The coffee also was nice but the flat white was a bit stronger than usual since they serve it in a smaller cup. The size creates a bigger coffee/milk proportion and makes a taste a bit bitter. I recommend taking the sit in front of the window. The morning sun beams go directly there and the street covered with trees is beautiful. There is also a tiny bench outside the window where you can sit and drink coffee in the fresh air.

The service is friendly and the food/drinks are nice but the food is still missing something. The atmosphere is calm, but it’s a very small coffee so it doesn’t really invite you to stay. Anyways, the food and drinks have good quality so it’s worth trying.

Google
It’s an unassuming and cute place famous for their breakfasts and brunches. It feels welcoming, and there was a steady stream of people eating there or ordering takeaways. I arrived too late for the breakfasts they are famous for, and grilled sandwiches weren’t available, so I tried these instead: Hot lemonade: 8/10. Beef ham sandwich with pickles and cheese: 7/10. One of the better sandwiches I had in Prague.

In an era where mediocrity often reigns supreme, Cafe Jen shines as a beacon of excellence ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for a place that proves miracles can happen, look no further than Cafe Jen. Nestled below sidewalk level, this hidden gem has managed to transform a seemingly bland space into a vibrant and popular destination. With an atmosphere that oozes authenticity and industriousness from every corner, Cafe Jen is a testament to what can be achieved with vision and hard work. Hoping to find a spot for brunch, we were about to embark on a culinary adventure that would leave us thoroughly impressed. Despite the influx of customers, the staff effortlessly handled all requests with a genuine smile, ensuring a top-notch dining experience. One of the things that struck me about Cafe Jen was their seamless ability to cater to a bustling crowd without compromising on quality. The professionalism displayed by the staff was truly remarkable. From the moment we stepped inside, it was evident that this place was well-versed in handling a large number of patrons, all while maintaining exceptional service standards. Now, I could offer specific recommendations, but here's the thing—words wouldn't do justice to the awe-inspiring precision with which Cafe Jen operates. So, if you're seeking an unforgettable brunch adventure, make your way to Cafe Jen. Trust me, this is an experience you won't want to miss. Cafe Jen, you've earned my utmost respect and gratitude for reminding us all that passion and dedication can transform the ordinary into something truly extraordinary. Thank you for an unforgettable brunch!

There are 4 tables so cafe has limited capacity. Unfortunately there is no wifi in the cafe. I had americano and small cookie.

Yelp
Enjoyed the extra delicious Shashuka and I loved every second of it. My friend Jen (yes we came here because of that) had the avocado toast which has a great proportion of toast to avocado to mouth watering bacon. This cute cafe has a cozy atmosphere and great coffee! What more could you ask for?

Yelp
Very nice, cute and tiny coffee shop. The service is friendly and they have great sortiment. The only downside is the fact you have to pay in cash! But they have free wifi!

Yelp
This cafe was recommended to me by many people. Unfortunately, today when I have visited it for the first time I couldn't quite understand this. It's not very inviting, the staff was unfriendly, we waited over one hour for the food, although the cafe was not that full, and the food itself, as well as the drinks, was not that tasty. All in all it was really disappointing and I won't come back.

Yelp
Pretty good. The hot chocolate was delicious. It's the real classic European style, where the hot chocolate is like a real piece of chocolate melted in a cup. I remember the first time I tasted that, and experienced the thick texture, I was in love and now this is my preferred style of hot chocolate! The Apple pie here was also amazing. Extremely soft and tender top layer crust. The quiche was pretty good too. Small and extremely cozy cafe.

Yelp
This was one of my favorite cafes during my time in Prague. Luckily I moved to Vřsovice and it was a very short walk for a wholesome breakfast and excellent coffee. Everyone who works there is SUPER nice and the story of how two friends started this cafe together is very inspiring :) They always have fantastic desserts - best carrot cake of my life! I've also had the breakfast of champions and pancakes. Weekend mornings get really busy in the cozy space, but you can make a reservation :) In warmer seasons they have outdoor seating too! Highly recommend for a delicious and wholesome local experience :)

Yelp
I stopped in here because miska gave it 5 stars, had to see how good it really was. I will say besides its far out location that's almost a ten minute walk from the tram, I saw no real negatives here. It was a great place! Servers were friendly and casual, service was prompt, latte was delicious, I also had one of their homemade cakes, the mandarin one and it was quite good ( and I'm not a cake person). I liked the atmosphere here, it was small but cozy and filled with locals. I would go back here but from where I live it's more like an adventure getting all the way over there! Worth the trip though.

Yelp
Stopped by this cafe down the road from a friend's place. It's their local and they like it. It's a no-nonsense cafe with very good coffee and also some food, which I'm not sure what kind since I didn't have any. THe atmosphere was quite nice and the staff very friendly and English speaking. They also sold some coffee books.

Yelp
Visited for our Sunday Fun day, after a long train ride from Berlin. Scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh bread, and fresh momosas! Will return and come back every Sunday.

Yelp
Great little coffee shop that also serves full breakfast through the early afternoon. I technically ordered two breakfast dishes and a lemonade for about 270ck total ($12USD/11€).

Yelp
Great food. I ate Jen's oatmeal which was super healthy and delicious. Coffee and tea is great, ok service and great atmosphere. Has some traditional Czech food with sausages and etc. but there are great options for vegans too!

Yelp
Great breakfast. I was so happy to find it within walking distance from the apt where I am staying. Reminds me of an awesome chain of breakfast spots in Hong Kong: Classified. Local eggs, organic milk, world-class teas and exciting choices on the menu.

Yelp
A wonderful experience and breakfast! Delicious locally sourced and fresh foods, great portions, and attentive and polite staff. English speaker friendly. They also had a great local guidebook to Prague that helped us plan our next few days; the waitress dropped it off when she saw me looking through a Frommer's guide. This is your breakfast spot.

Yelp
Although I don't like to go with kids in such small cafes, but it was critical situations with very hungry 4 kids. Well done, girls. And Misa dessert was the best ever!!

Yelp
Hands down the best part of our trip to Prague. We love Cafe Jen! We discovered it our first morning, and then had breakfast at Jen's every day for the rest of our five day stay. We've tried the sausages, Czech porridge, sweet breakfast (bread with jam, honey and butter) and granola with fruit. Everything was delicious. Great coffee too, and everything was so inexpensive - we had a full breakfast with coffee or tea for about 125 crowns or less a person. They have a selection of quiches and cakes which look amazing as well. Nice ambience: there are cute pillows everywhere and music playing. They also sell cute tote bags!!! Jen and the other employees are incredibly sweet and all speak beautiful English. Cash only, but they do have restrooms, wifi, and tap water!!! Jen's is incredible and I recommend it to anyone going to Prague!!!

Yelp
Very good place with outside space, Wi-Fi and good sandwiches. The waiters are funny and it's not expensive. If you are around in Prague is a good option

Anesia R.

Yelp
Awesome Sunday breakfast menu! I had the scrambled eggs, cappuccino and iced coffee, which are all delicious. The location is perfect too, a little hidden from the throngs of tourists in Prague.

Yelp
It's great. Friendly staff. Small clear menu. Good coffee. Easy to relax. New pies or quiches daily. Quaint.

Yelp
Café Jen was absolutely one of our favorite parts of Prague. We discovered it on our first morning, and went every morning for the rest of our five day stay in Prague. The food is incredible: we tried the Sweet Breakfast (bread with butter, jam and honey), sausages, Czech porridge, granola with yogurt and fruit, and both tea and coffee drinks in our time in Prague. It's all fresh and flavorful and delicious, and they also have a selection of quiches and cakes that we didn't try, but look great! The ambience is great: there are pillows all around, art on the walls, and music playing every day. Jen herself is a sweetheart, and our meals were around 100 crowns each. No cards, but they do have tap water, free wifi and restrooms!!! Would be a great place to get work done, read a book, etc. I'd recommend Cafe Jen to anyone who's going to Prague.
