"Cafe Krans provides a calm escape with a laid-back vibe in Stockholm’s old town, Gamla Stan. Though the coffee is straightforward, its tranquil setting makes it a great choice for a restorative pause while exploring." - Coolstuff Team

We bought 2 cinnamon buns. The advertisement in front of the store said that 2 buns would be discounted, 59 instead of 70, but we were charged 70, without the discount. False advertisement!! I ignored that, but later when we started to eat we noticed, that the cinnamon buns were super dry and plain. Later we bought some in Coop supermarket, and they were much better and more fresh.

It is such a nice cafe: we had coffee, tea, hot chocolate and the traditional buns. The ambience was in clear Swedish style. The service was great as well!

Very cute coffeeshop to try if you get tired of the busy streets and the tourist crowds. Cozy ambiance, fresh pastries and good coffee.

We stopped by here in passing to try Swedish fika. When we talk to each other with my friend in our own language, the man in the counter showed some racism against us and we felt a bit uncomfortable. Apart from that the atmosphere of the place was cozy and the food was okay, but coffee was not hot. The prices were also okay.

An excellent cosy spot for coffee and fika! Their noteworthy cinnamon buns, served warm, have a delicious flavour and texture ideal for the cold. Quick, friendly service too. Note: no bathroom here.

Gamla Stan's usp is the fact that it is quaint and cute. And this cafe doesn't disappoint. It is tucked in the street very comfortably and had such an autumnal October feel. When we visited it was raining outside, so the warmth emanating out of the cafes door just calls you in! The decor in the display window, with the buns and autumn leaves is beautiful. Must visit in the evening, when the yellow and orange lights are most prominent. I had the hot chocolate with cream. Quite tasty, though I was expecting a more 'thick' drink. But this one was more on the milky consistency side. The amount of sugar is just perfect, not too much like the usual hot chocolate! The drinks could have been warmer, like I was expecting a scalding hot drink but instead got a warm one which I didn't need to blow over to drink.

Not the best coffee if you are picky with beans quality as I am, but location is great if you want to grab a decent kanelbunn in Gamle Stan. They have some lunch options we did not try but seemed tempting!
