I’d heard great things about this café and was looking forward to my visit. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, which I appreciated. However, my experience left a lot to be desired.
Several menu items included bacon, but it wasn’t available—and no substitutions were offered. I ordered their new special breakfast bun (I don’t remember the exact name), a sugarcane/lime/ginger juice, and a chicken avocado salad. I think my bun order was mixed up, but since I hadn’t paid yet, I didn’t have a receipt to clarify.
My salad never arrived, and when I asked about it, the server insisted I hadn’t ordered one. The exchange felt quite dismissive, with no apology rendered whatsoever. Eventually, I canceled the salad and paid only for what I had received.
This is however not a representation of the business as a whole, since a lot of people have had very good experiences. Maybe it was just a bad day for them.
