Yelp
Cafe La Fe took over the former Pinky's space. I love supporting small businesses in the neighborhood and initially popped in without much expectation but was pleasantly surprised by friendly family vibe and the delicious homemade food and now it's become a regular spot for me. The aqua frescas are all handmade, not commercially prepared, and the Piña Colada you can taste the actual pineapple and coconut, much of the sweetness coming from actual fruits not commercial mixes and not overloaded with sugar. "Limon" is both lemon and lime in Spanish, so the "Limonade" was made with limes, and the perfect sweetness. The empanadas are large and delicious with generous amount of filling, a far cry from the dry crumbly thing I used to think was an Empanada!! For me it's the perfect size for a lunch with a nice space to sit down with a friend and enjoy.
