My girlfriend took me here after a while of saying I should try it, and I was not disappointed! Started with the Mezza Platter, which comes with hummus, baba ganoush (with tahini and tomato salsa in it), labneh, torshi (pickled veggies), and tzatziki. All were solid but I wasn't blown away. The pita this comes with was freshly made, soft, and a perfect vehicle for the dips. For entrees we went with the halloumi shakshuka and the sinia kebab. The shakshuka itself was flavorful and the eggs were poached perfectly. However, it only came with 4 tiny pieces of (pan?)-friend halloumi, which was quite disappointing. Comes with your choice of bread, so I went with the zaa'tar pita, which I was very happy with. Fried to be crispy and the zaa'tar I think is an in-house recipe. The sinia kebab entree was more impressive. The beef/lamb kebabs were flavorful and tender, the plate is loaded with grilled veggies (eggplant, peppers, onion), and the sauces add a nice extra dimension (the dish would still be great without it). I will note, the bread underneath is not "focaccia" which is the way it's advertised in the menu, but honestly, focaccia would have been an odd choice for this style of food anyway.
Service was super friendly. Parking is a little tough in this area. Basically impossible on Beacon St, so you'll likely have to check some back roads and either way you'll have to pay the meter.
