Restaurants to Try This Weekend in Las Vegas — May 16 | Eater Vegas

"A bright, airy outpost of a Berlin-born coffee-roasting brand that pairs excellent coffee with casual Mediterranean fare in a relaxed Boca Park setting, making it a good spot for coworking or a slow weekend morning. Highlights include an indulgent Belgian waffle platter with thick waffles, Nutella, whipped cream, and fresh fruit; a mezze platter with four soft pita pockets and spreadable dips like earthy hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, tangy matbucha, and labneh sprinkled with za'atar; icy mint lemonades for warm days; and trend-driven chocolate-dipped croissants filled with pistachio cream and feuilletine shards." - Janna Karel

The Biggest New Las Vegas Restaurant Openings, May 2025 | Eater Vegas

"With roots as a 1919 coffee roaster in Berlin, this bright, roomy spot occupies the former Chinglish space in Boca Park and offers nearly 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor seating that blends quick service with comforting Mediterranean fare. Mornings are built around cappuccinos, mint lemonade, and platters of French toast and sliced fruit, while mezze boards arrive with thick, fluffy pitas for dunking into smooth hummus, smoky babaganoush, and creamy labneh. The broader menu ranges from shakshuka and falafel pitas to schnitzel challah sandwiches and lamb kebab skewers with tahini, making it a versatile neighborhood destination for breakfast through dinner." - Janna Karel

Aldi and H-Mart Open Their First Las Vegas Stores on the Same Day | Eater Vegas

"Founded as a Berlin coffee roaster in 1919 and expanded to Tel Aviv in 1933 where it grew to some 80 locations, this café—still fairly new to North America—opened April 3 at 8704 West Charleston Boulevard, Suite 101 in the Boca Park shopping center. In addition to coffee, the menu features breakfast and lunch items such as shakshuka, schnitzel and hummus plates, flaky rolled rosalach pastries, as well as teas, fresh juices, wine and cocktails." - Janna Karel

Google
Beautiful spot, no denying that. Their customer service is wonderful and each staff member I encountered was friendly, warm, and helpful. Menu selection was vast. A great selection of Mediterranean food and not your typical brunch stuff. I ordered the shashuka and a latte. Flavor was good and presentation nice, but taking off a star as the challah bread wasn’t warmed all the way through and cold inside and the latte was steamed too long so milk burnt. Still think this is a good spot and I’d give this place another try.

Google
Great menu selections and happy hour specials. Cocktails are good. The food was mostly excellent. The special fall tortellini was so-so. The cauliflower was excellent. They were out of mozzarella so one of our entree choices was not available. Also the bread pudding on the menu is not longer served. Service was good and they were very interested in knowing we enjoyed the meal and experience. Live music was good but a little loud.

The atmosphere was very chill and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and came out surprisingly fast. Overall, the experience was smooth, enjoyable, and definitely worth coming back for.

Everything was perfect. Best crispy potatoes we’ve ever had. The Nutella hot chocolate was unbelievable. The famous breakfast was so much fun. The breads are all made in house daily. Everything had so much flavor. Our server (don’t know his name- he’s from Greece) was superb.

Came here on 09/23/25 around 11:30am. The food, the service, the atmosphere were all amazing! I wish i'd gotten our servers name but he was incredible and attentive! The food was perfectly seasoned (imo) and the serving size was quite big. The terrace was gorgeous so we opted to sit out, inside was charming as well though. We are definitely coming back!

Google
Not sure other shops around the country, but this one was fun and enjoyable. Our server was friendly, provided some really good info. landwers special breakfast, farmers breakfast were special and full of flavor. Now that we had a good brunch, time to bring sister and mom.

The restaurant itself is clean and pleasant looking. We were promptly sat down and taken care of . Menu had lots of great sounding options however neither me or my friend were completely satisfied with the food - portion was on the smaller side and it was missing flavor. The fruit juices were great though.

Google
Outstanding food, excellent staff, and a great atmosphere! I recently hosted an event at Cafe Landwer, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. The team made the planning process so easy and accommodating, and every guest raved about the food and the space. Thank you to the entire staff for making it such a seamless and enjoyable event. We’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
Wow!!! Such a great place! So tasty and fresh, most adorable and kind waiters. A looooot of options to choose from the menu, overall AMAZING place. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back again. Thank you!

Yelp
Beautiful place with cool vibe . The shnitzel challa sandwich is really good and the panini cheese toast is great

Yelp
Whoa!! What a great find that is literally across the street from where we live! We finally decided to venture out of our comfort zone from our favorite restaurants for lunch. We hit the jackpot on this place. Hubby and I ordered the seasonal pumpkin soup, lentil soup, falafel pita sandwich and the smoked salmon sandwich on a challah bun. Oh my, 100% fantastic. Everything was fresh and delicious. There were so many other items that I wanted to order, but . . . next time. The restaurant is located in Boca Park at Charleston where the former Chinglish restaurant used to be. It has beautiful natural light, is clean and open. Outside dining is available. The service was excellent. We are so convinced that we will return that we signed up for their loyalty program. A short walk across the street for a bottle of wine and some great appetizers sounds like a lovely evening in the near future. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Great food, the food was really excellent and the service was great. I really like the atmosphere and however, indoors is too loud for me. The patio is amazing at this time of year October November. I have nothing negative to say except indoors was so loud I couldn't hold a conversation with my buddies. This place is definitely worth trying out.

Yelp
The environment is so nice and well put together and very clean! The decorations and setting are very inviting and aesthetic. The food is absolutely amazing! Very tasty and nicely plated. Their drink menu is fire and honestly had such a good time tasting a couple. Their pretzel and croissants are to die for. I took a star off because of the issues we had with our service. We never got a plate we ordered. We asked our server for the plate, he admitted he never put the order in. And then he brought another item out that we did not order but said it was on the house. But that item was good. It was just a bit frustrating. But the food was great.

Yelp
Cafe Landwer is a cute cafe located across the street from Bonefish Grill in Downtown Summerlin. My friend and I stopped in for a hot beverage as we did some work/planning. While looking over the menu we noticed they had desserts. We ordered the Nutella Rosalach which was so good! It reminded me of the chocolate dumplings at Din Tai Fung. I believe the food here would be considered either Mediterranean, Arabic or Jewish fusion cuisine. Many of the dish names were (what I believe to be) Arabic. I'll definitely need to stop back in for lunch. Service was great but I will point out one issue my friend and I experienced which was quickly resolved. The waitress brought us our drinks but served us each the wrong drink. My friend asked 3x if the drink given to her was indeed what she'd ordered to which our server confirmed. We found out shortly afterwards that it wasn't. Upon realizing we were drinking one another's beverages we flagged our server down to advise. She began to switch the cups by giving my friend the drank I'd sipped and vice versa. When she saw the confused look on our faces she asked "would you like me to bring you another?" To which we both exclaimed "yes!" We were very satisfied after receiving our correct drinks. Again, it was resolved but felt I should note. I would definitely be back.

Yelp
Cafe Landwer is located in Boca Park. Walked in and we were greeted and seated right away. The inside is very spacious and they also have a big outside patio area. They have a big menu ranging from breakfast to lunch to dinner. We ordered from the breakfast items and got the Breakfast Parfait, Landwer's Shakshuka and a side of Crushed Potatoes. For drinks we got the Landwer's Famous Iced Tea and an Iced Matcha Latte. Our server Jenny was great. She recommended some menu items and she checked on us often. Our drinks and food came out pretty fast and the presentation is on point. The challah bread was so soft. The tahini was so good and added the perfect touch to the stew. The yogurt was good, Fruit was fresh. The iced tea was refreshing and the matcha latte was good as well. It got very busy while we were there and they do take reservations.

Yelp
Cafe Landwer is such a wonderful addition to this area, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots. I've visited a couple of times now, and each experience has been consistently great. The ambiance is so charming. Iy feels like stepping into a cozy café in Berlin. They also have outdoor seating if you enjoy the sun. On my first visit, I ordered the Quinoa Lebanese Salad with an egg, Landwer's Famous Breakfast, Landwer's Breakfast, Hummus, and even Mac and Cheese. Everything was delicious! The salad was refreshing and light, the breakfast dishes had a lot of variety (the eggplant was my favorite bite), and the hummus came in a generous portion. My only wish was that it came with a little more pita to scoop it up. On my second visit, I tried the Mediterranean Shakshuka, and it was bursting with flavor. It was comforting and hearty without being too heavy. For dessert, we shared the affogato and the malabi. Both were the perfect finish to the meal, but the malabi especially stood out with its crisp exterior and soft, delicate inside. Service has also been wonderful both times. Our server, Daron, was so kind, attentive, and patient in answering all our questions. Overall, I really love this place. The food, the atmosphere, and the service is great. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and can't wait to try more items on the menu!

Yelp
Cafe Landwer -- Founded in 1912. Jewish, Israeli, Mediterranean food? It doesn't matter what type of food it is, I'm sold after trying the Shakshuka! Ambiance (5/5): Don't let the name Cafe fool you. The interior is modern, hip, and well designed. Spacious, with plenty of tables inside, plus a patio outside. Service (4/5): The first time we went, it was counter service, and I'm so glad they have switched to table service. My second experience was so much better with table service. Food (4/5): * Shakshuka (5/5): I've tried their Mediterranean Shakshuka twice. So good with challah bread. * Chicken Shawarma (3/5): Not the shawarma I was looking for. I will try the skewers next time. * Falafel with Hummus (3/5): The hummus was watery and bland. * Sweet Potato Fries (1/5): A soggy, burned mess. * Nutella Rosaluch (5/5): Warm, soft bread with Nutella. What's not to love? * Creamy Mushroom Pasta (4/5): Surprisingly good for a non Italian place. This is my go-to spot in town for Shakshuka. Highly recommended to come try this dish!

Yelp
I've been to Café Landwer twice now and both visits left me with mixed feelings. The first time, I went with a smaller group and the setup felt more like a fast-casual spot where you order at the counter and take a number to your table. It reminded me of Leone's. There wasn't a big overhead menu, so we had to flip through their very large printed menu. Prices were definitely on the higher side. Most breakfast dishes start at $16, and extras like eggs or turkey bacon add a few more dollars. That said, the pancakes were delicious. They were thick, moist, and had a really cute presentation. My mom ordered the Signature Landwer Breakfast and was surprised when it came out. It wasn't what she expected, and it was way too much for her to finish. One friend ordered a matcha latte that honestly tasted terrible. Another got the Oreo milkshake which was good, but it was $9. The second time, we went with a large group on a Tuesday afternoon. They were very accommodating and sat us all together. This time, the dining model had changed to full service, which we appreciated considering the prices. I went with the pancakes again as a safe choice, and so did half the table. The menu isn't very friendly for picky eaters, with a lot of bold flavors and unique combinations. I ordered a Nutella latte that tasted great, but the Nutella was heavily smeared around the rim of the glass. It looked nice, but it made a total mess. I felt like a disaster trying to drink it in front of my friends. Our server was super sweet and really helpful, which made the experience better overall. Café Landwer has a trendy vibe and some standout dishes, but it's pricey and not for everyone. It's worth trying once, especially for the pancakes, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to return.

Yelp
We visited on Saturday with 3 adults and 2 small children for lunch and it was a very nice experience. We had reservations and were seated right away in a booth near the door to the patio. That was our only mistake, it was basically like eating outside in the 95 deg heat every time the door opened. Their margaritas are quite nice. The waitress stopped by and took our orders. We started with the Mezze Platter and Halloumi Sticks. A good variety of spreads on the platter. From there we went with entrees; Schnitzel, Carne Shakshuka, Beef & Lamb Kebab Skewers, kids Mac & Cheese and kids sliders. All the meals were well prepared with very large portions. Dessert was Affagato and Chocolate Rosalach, both were very tasty. The waitress was pretty new to the business, but she did great. Stayed on top of orders, plate removals and refills. Overall, an excellent spot for Mediterranean fare.

Yelp
Very nice cafe in Boca Park! They have a pretty extensive menu with all sorts of different items! The place wasn't too busy on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, as the food came out very quickly! I ordered the Landwer Iced tea which came with some fresh fruit mixed in, as well as the chicken shawarma hummus plate. The Chicken was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor, the hummus was good but seemed to have a different after taste. Still, a great dish! Service was quick and the food came out within 10 mins of ordering. All of the pastries looked great as well! My group had 2 sandwiches and 1 hummus plate, and only 2 Iced teas, which totaled over $80. So, not necessarily a place to come everyday for lunch as the prices are a little high for a quick cafe lunch. But overall this place is great!

Yelp
This is a great Israeli cafe located in Boca Park! They have kosher-style food. No pork options (which I love) and a great vegetarian menu. For the most part, everything tastes great. I will admit that the shakshuka and Moroccan fish were quite bland, but their non-tomato sauce based dishes are very flavorful. The cafe is really cute! Love the ambience, but the only thing I don't love is how slow the service is. I think they have been getting better with it the more I go there. I think they're just new and they're trying to get in the swing of things. Just be patient with them and I promise you'll love the food!

Yelp
Cafe Landwer is awesome! The inside is modern and chic, and they have covered outdoor seating. Parking is plentiful right outside the restaurant. My husband and I came here on a Saturday evening for their dinner menu. We ordered the Carne Shakshuka and the Mediterranean Calzone (with chicken added on). The Carne Shakshuka came with challah bread, a plate of salad, and shakshuka with beef short rib and 1/2 an avocado covered in sesame seeds. Everything was delicious! The beef fell off the bone, though the short rib itself was 50% fat. I do wish I got more meat. However, the shakshuka tasted great with the bread and salad. Also, the Mediterranean Calzone was massive and full of chicken! It had a lot of vegetables and olives as well, and the crust was warm and toasted but very filling. We give both dishes a 5 out of 5. We also ordered the Lotus Rosalach (vegan cookie butter spread) for dessert, which they said took about 20-25 minutes to bake. We ordered the half size which came in 6 pieces. It was covered in a think layer of powdered sugar and was quite hot on delivery, but it tasted absolutely delicious that way! The cookie butter spread was definitely on the sweeter side and tasted like caramel and peanut butter. We give this a 4.5 out of 5. Service was great and the food was fabulous. We will definitely be back for brunch!

Yelp
The patio is awesome! Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner! I recommend the chicken thigh skewers - yum Paula our server was fun & friendly too - Thank you & I'll be back

Yelp
Well that was delicious! My first experience here was great. The menu is intriguing with many items I've never heard of nor tried before. I had a cappuccino, Mediterranean Shakshuka with added sinia and halumi, and took home a Dubai chocolate pistachio croissant. I added halumi and sinia to the Mediterranean Shakshuka and was very glad I did. Delicious. The challah bread that came with it had a density similar to that of pretzel. Not a bad thing. Still good, but more dense than I'm used to versus a traditional challah. I don't eat challah often, but I'm used to a lighter density. Later at home I ate the Dubai croissant. I loved everything about it except I don't know what ingredient(s) is used to create the green layer in the dough. I forgot to ask. I still ate it. The chocolate on the exterior provides sweetness, while the pistachio filling is creamy and crunchy. Yum! Customer service was very good. The ambiance bright, open and inviting. There is a very nice patio seating area too. I plan on returning to try more interesting menu items.

Yelp
This was a first for me. However I was looking for comfort yet healthier food options for dinner. cafe Landwer did just that. Upon walk up there was great customer service and we were greeted immediately. The ambiance gave a vibe that I wasn't in Las Vegas , I was in a different city for a couple of hours. From the style, with wooden chairs, a green trim and an open bar. They had a beautiful outdoor seating that was covered. Which is needed here in Las Vegas. Now the portions are huge but that is not a complaint! It's actually refreshing just like how the food was. My grandmother and I had so much food to take home. She did like the Hibiscus Berry tea, just wanted it sweeter because I am assuming that the tea comes unsweetened. I think the ice tea mixed w/ honey would do just that. Their short rib is sooooo tender, it was breaking into shreds with my fork. Do I wish it was more short rib? Yes of course. who wouldn't. The egg in the dish was a new for me, I should've read the description better. If the egg was a bit more runny I think I would like it with the tomato sauce. However, our servers, were so nice, polite and very helpful.

Yelp
Would not recommend going here with a group, the service is frankly horrible and they'll still charge you the 20% gratuity. Some of the food was delicious, other food was not great. Given the service and the prices, I will not be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
After some initial difficulty finding a parking spot, we were happy to see no wait to order upon entry. There are menus by the door and you order at the end of the counter closest to the entrance. After being given an order number we elected to sit in the shade outside. There are plenty of seating options both inside and out. It took over 30 minutes for us to receive our food which consisted of a waffle and shakshuka dish. Luckily, we were in no hurry but this could get rough during more busy periods. There is self serve water outside as well. The waffle came with maple syrup, whipped cream, and a small assorted fruit dish, all served on the side. I added eggs and 2 strips of turkey bacon for an additional $6. I would probably skip this add on in the future. My wife enjoyed her dish and commented on the fresh taste. It came with a small loaf of challah bread, an Israeli salad, and side of hummus. The Americano I got was as expected. Considering it is an order at the counter type establishment, I found the 15/20/25% tipping options on the ipad at checkout interesting.

Yelp
Super cute inside ! Love the floors and the designs of the interior. Really great place. Very clean, the bathrooms are really nice too. You can choose your own seat after ordering at the register and they were really quick bringing the food out! I had the vegan shwarma and oh my goodness it was delicious ! Super flavorful and fluffy. The matcha latte was ok. It seems to be consistently busy throughout the day and it does get a bit noisy but other than that I love this place very much !

Yelp
10/10. My second time here and I brought my sis. She had the Mediterranean Shakshuka plus Halumi cheese and I had the Chicken Shawarma Hummus plate. Both were delicious! Her Shakshuka was delicious with a warm piece of bread with sesame seeds on it. It also came with a cucumber salad with a hint of mint leaves in it. Perfect balance of warm and hearty Shakshuka and the light and crispy cucumber salad! My Shawarma Hummus plate was amazing! I would get this dish again and again! Came with a warm, freshly baked pita bread. The Hummus was super creamy and had some chickpeas on top. The chicken shawarma was delicious! Loved all the flavors together! The service was super nice and all very attentive as well. 10/10 would recommend to others and I would come back often and order the same things!

Yelp
We went on Sunday for brunch. They were busy and had us seated quickly. The service was great! Thank you! We all enjoyed the delicious food.

Yelp
I went in for an early dinner and I pleasantly surprised by the light open atmosphere. Staff was attentive. We ordered a few items to share, starting with the roasted eggplant. It appears to be one large eggplant in a cast iron topped with tahini, oil, and a baked tomato. It was simple but in a good way, still very filling. Next came the fattoush salad, which was not favorite but the chicken on top was some of the best I've had in a while. In fact, we ordered their chicken schnitzel as well, and something about the chicken here made this restaurant stand out. Very good quality. They have a fun cocktail menu and offer several wines and soft drinks. They also had a coffee bar! We will need to come back and try some of the breakfast items recommended by our waiter.

Yelp
I had to write this review because it is impossible to remain indifferent. This place is incredible, I came with my family to try it out and everything was delicious, meat, cheese, literally everything. The service is great and I highly recommend anyone to come visit and enjoy this place.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I don't know how we haven't heard of this place before! The service was top notch and vibes were incredible. The food was delicious and the coffee was perfect. Huge shoutout to the owner for building such an incredible restaurant and a huge shoutout to the staff for making sure we had a great experience and the place was clean and delivering the best experience possible! Cheers! Keep up what you are doing!

Yelp
Is this the third or fourth time I have come here and not eaten? Well good news they now seat you and you can order from a menu... if you can ever get seated. There were only 2 other people ahead of us... but 20 min later and we are still unseated. The lady at the front 1) doesn't tell you to hang on and she will be with us... instead she ignored us for 4-5 min doing other stuff... the so slowly she sat other people like 5-7 min per seating ... being distracted ... and there were several open tables. We just left ... again. No more chances Landwer - your hosting is the worst!

Yelp
nice place great atmosphere we sit outside and it was perfect Will definitely come back

Yelp
I went there with a friend today and we sat outside-before the heat but after the rain, so it was perfect! At first its very confusing because when you walk in, you pick up a menu and walk up to the bar/counter-no seat yourself type thing-until after you order. So we had to step aside while we made up our minds, then got back in line to order. We were so confused! The food was fantastic! I ordered pancakes, which comes woth some fruit, their housemade whipped cream, Nutella and I opted for the eggs and turkey bacon and a Nutella iced coffee (sensing a theme here?). Those were the most mammothly huge pancakes I've ever seen! Everything was very tasty! The lady who took our order was the nicest you'll ever meet! All the help there were tops! Some of the menu items are Mediterranean style (luckily my friend knew what that were!). But the main lady (with glasses), maybe one of the owners? was the absolute BEST! Definitely yummy food! Would go again for sure and this time I won't be so confused how it works!

Yelp
Line out the door on a weekend with only one man taking orders. You order and then seat yourself concept. Hopefully they hire another person to assist on busier days because that's how the experience started. The space is very nice and seats are comfortable. One small note, our table had a trim on it making it impossible to brush crumbs off. Weird design for a restaurant. The food was disappointing and very expensive for small amounts. The schnitzel was very dry and came on challah that was so toasted it pretty much crumbled apart making a big mess. The shawarma chicken pita came with a very small amount of chicken just on top and the rest of the pita was filled with veggies once you ate the top part. The Rueben didn't taste like any Rueben I've had before. A very thin player of meat, cheese, and some kind of sauce. It was mostly bread. Very expensive lunch and nothing was great. Chicken shawarma would have been great if it wasn't mostly veggies.

Yelp
This place was recommended. Server wasn't 100% familiar with menu. So I kept it simple. * Food Menu looks like a good selection, I ordered the Shawarma plate. Shawarma was dry and just barely warm. Rice was clumpy. Didn't seem fresh. * Server left before checking on us. I saw her take her apron off and walk out; never looked at us to say "I'm leaving, "_______ will keep serving you"... I had to look to see who to flag since the mgr was 'unavailable'. The new server tried to excuse the server that left but it was not acceptable. I saw her walk out and not once acknowledging her table. There was only one table seated then a few minute a third table was seated. Therefore no valid excuse but that watching the clock to leave was most important. Great place, need improvement on Customer Service.

Yelp
We came in here for dessert a couple days ago. We had the affogato- it was yummy and the coffee was delicious! We also had the kunafe - it was the best we have had, perfect consistency of crunchiness, sweet cheese and syrup. I could eat it everyday! We will def come again to try the dinner menu and also the cheesecake as it looked amazing when they brought it to the table next to ours.

Yelp
I love Landwer! I've been waiting for this place to open! And I'm so glad it's very close to where I live. The place is gorgeous. Modern decor but still true to the Landwer vibe. I love the outdoor seating too. I ordered the Landwer shakshuka and rugelach. Both were very delicious! I'm biased and nothing beats my mother in law's shakshuka, but this one is delish! Worth paying for again, as the flavors were authentic. And I love the little challah! And I guess their rugelach is their own special version called rosalach and I am obsessed. The workers were kind. The manager (possibly?) kept going around asking how everyone was, so I found that really nice of him. I will be going back! Love it here!

Yelp
This has been one of our new go-to spots! I love the vegan brunch as it's massive and full of variety! I also really liked the vegan shawarma! The vegan Lotus Rosalach with the Biscoff cookie butter is also a nice treat! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly! I can't wait to try more dishes and really appreciate the presentation and the consideration of vegan options having a legit protein source such as chickpeas, soy strips, burger, meatballs, etc. This place gets pretty busy after 10am and then it gets a bit quiet after 2pm. Ask me how I know! We brought friends here and were chatting for hours - literally, almost 5 hours! We were never once asked to leave, but rather, the nice server (Nick Jonas doppelganger) took our picture when we were FINALLY leaving! This place also makes great coffee and other beverages! Also, look at my pictures! If you see the same meal and it looks as good as the first - that's called consistency!

Yelp
Wow wow wow!! This cafe has the most delicious Mediterranean food and coffees. While the place was pretty busy, there were still plenty of places to sit and the service was so quick. The inside is very aesthetically pleasing and everyone seems to be having a great time. They definitely deserve all the attention they're getting after just opening!

Yelp
We had an incredible experience at Cafe Landwer! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel like I was dining somewhere along the coast of Greece or Italy . The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, specially with my dogs and the food WAS AMAZING, you must try the Chicken Shawarma! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I'd been wanting to eat here since they opened and had high hopes. No, no, and no. Unfortunately, it was a poor experience in all respects - service was nonexistent, food was meh, and the owner's apology by taking 50 percent off the bill and a $25 credit on a return visit was insulting. After placing our order, we waited 20 minutes and realized no beverage had been brought out. Once I inquired, it came out quickly but with some curdled cream looking thing on the top for one and a watery latte for the other. Waiting another 20 minutes for food, and after my AGAIN inquiring where it was, they brought out the wrong order - a meal with bacon did not please the vegetarian who had ordered a different dish. Again waiting for the corrected order, which should have been made a priority in the kitchen, I had to ask for its whereabouts. We had a timeline and did not intend to be there an hour just waiting for food to arrive, which was mediocre at best. Oh, I can't overlook mentioning the well-meaning hostess took my plate away before I finished eating and put it in a pile of used dishes. I guess I was done. They were apologetic and had a myriad of excuses why this happened (server was moved and thought they'd assigned someone else our table but didn't, the tablet with the orders for our table didn't go through, understaffed, etc.), but the end result is we will not be returning. That's how you lose potential customers. That's how you lose a business, period.

Yelp
First time there, we were sat close to a bridal party, so it was a bit loud, but we settled in and the waiter who was from (Israel) was fantastic! We order different things, we ordered the meza plater the airies spelled wrong and a challah, our friends had the kosher steak and the chicken and rice and then for desert we had the Oreo and cream rochella! This is our new place will be in our go to for now! The food was just amazing! The biggest highlight was the taziki sauce which I never eat, until we went to Greece and this place brought me back to the street cafe we ate at in Greece! The food was just so dam good!!!!

Yelp
This is definitely a hidden gem! I had never seen it and I know it's fairly new. This place was very busy when I arrived. Staff were very friendly and helpful when ordering off the menu. Seemed like a lot of people now the owner or manger when coming in. A customer did get upset because his food took awhile and the manger took care of it with grace and compassion. My food also took awhile but I wasn't really worried about because I know new restaurants are trying to work some issues. I like all the natural lighting and I was able to eat and work. Outside patio was super cute but I needed an outlet so stayed inside. I will definitely be coming here and trying all the menu items. The food was amazing! The matcha was good but if you prefer a sweet matcha maybe not for you.

Yelp
Located across the street from Bonefish Grill. There is a small parking lot behind Cafe Landwer which seems to fill up quickly as it shared with neighboring businesses. However, you can park across the driveway in the Office Depot parking lot, which is literally a short walk to the restaurant. Upon entering you're immediately greeted and asked if you prefer indoor or outdoor seating. On Wednesdays they have live singing entertainment. Service was impeccable everyone is so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and truly make it an overall experience. Tried the seared salmon and their mint cucumber lemonade, for dessert I tried the mango perfume with seasonal berries. Everything was delicious. I really enjoyed each bite of each dish and would return here for more.

Yelp
Came here on 09/23/25 around 11:30am. The food, the service, the atmosphere were all amazing! I wish i'd gotten our servers name but he was incredible and attentive! The food was perfectly seasoned (imo) and the serving size was quite big. The outside seating was gorgeous so we opted to sit out, inside was charming as well!. Definitely would come back!

Yelp
Delicious food, very nice and helpful staff. Cafe Landwer is such an inviting and relaxing space! After being seated, Ordering is done at the front register. We ordered salad, salmon sandwich, paninis and chicken shawarma, 2 of the desserts. Everything was so good! We were seated at one of the booth tables for 4 ( could be seated up to 6). Lots of seating & tables available inside the cafe. Excited to come back and try out the rest of the menu which had lots of options and healthy options as well.

Yelp
Great food, friendly staff. Little café in A European style. Great coffee selections along with pastries and bread. The Mediterranean style menu is full of wonderful options. He had the schnitzel and shakshuka, both were tasty and decent portions. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I thought it's traditional American breakfast. I had to google few of foods name since I'm not familiar with it. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. We picked at other tables food as well, it look all delicious so me and my friends decided to come back again. Portions are huge. 4 people order 3 entries and order dessert. Regular drip coffee was better than latte. Definitely going back to try different dishes.

Yelp
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the food is always fresh, and the coffee is amazing. Every visit feels special thanks to the friendly service -- especially Doron, who always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. You can really tell he cares about the customers and the vibe of the place. Highly recommend stopping by whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee break.
