Discovered a gem on Fleury Street during the MTLàTable event. Booked a table for brunch to get a feel for the restaurant prior making a dinner reservation. The decor was both charming and inviting, instantly reminding me of a café in Paris.
The place was fully packed as I stepped into the restaurant, I came face to face with a waitress who was busily running food, carrying plates in both hands and she managed to nod and smile at me, adding a personal touch to the welcoming atmosphere. A powerful positive greeting that many restaurateurs tend to omit nowadays.
Despite the rush, the hostess/waitress/owner took the time to explain the event menu to us, even sharing a few laughs. The food was nothing short of delightful. However, I expected a bit more from the Americano coffee, it was decent but lacked the richness I was hoping for. Overall, it combined excellent food with a friendly atmosphere. It was the perfect start to what promises to be many future visits.
