"Opened on 3 June at the corner of Broadwick and Poland Streets in Soho, this London flagship café from Aimé Leon Dore occupies an immaculately designed walnut-and-marble room that channels a Tuscan and Parisian café-chic aesthetic, complete with a Broadwick Street terrace overlooking a Veggie Pret. The offering is deliberately simple and Greek-inspired: a curated menu centered on Greek coffee culture (notably freddo espresso and freddo cappuccino) and pastries such as kourabiedes (almond), melomakarona (honey and walnut), kulourakia (butter), plus croissants and dry goods like honey, chocolate wafers and chamomile tea; coffee is supplied by Greek roaster Loumidis.
