Philly’s Best Breakfast Sandwiches

"Cheesesteaks are at the top of most Philly food bucket lists and at Cafe Lift they’ve conjured up a morning rendition of this iconic dish with its egg cheesesteak featuring fried eggs, succulent shaved ribeye, caramelized onions, and American cheese sandwiched between a pretzel roll (another Philly favorite)." - George Banks-Weston

Best Restaurants in Haddonfield, New Jersey, a Dry Town Near Philly | Eater Philly

"Cafe Lift has been a Philly brunch favorite since 2003 when owners Michael and Jeniphur Pasquarello first opened their doors in the Callowhill neighborhood. In 2022, the couple opened up a second location in Haddonfield, another instant hit. The egg cheesesteak puts a Philly icon on a pretzel bun, while the Jersey Madame centers a triple stack of pancakes with alternating layers of pork roll topped by a sunny side up egg and a creamy maple bechamel. Need more sweets? How about cannoli French toast, lemon ricotta pancakes, and Nutty Monkey Crespelle filled with chocolate hazelnut spread and banana?" - Kae Lani Palmisano

I’ve been here twice now. Easiest parking is in the rear off of Centre or Chestnut. Great place to meet up with friends or even go by yourself and sit at their coffee bar. There is also outdoor seating. The first time I went there I had a special and it is no longer offered - but it was fantastic. This recent time that I went, I shared Jen’s Crespelle and the Lemon Ricotta pancake and a side of potatoes with my mom. We were full and it was delicious. My mom raved about their balsamic dressing on the salad. Overall very pleased. It’s pricey but worth it - if it’s just a treat. We also had two cappuccinos which were perfect. Ooo also - it is a byo, in case you want to have a little morning mimosa. Hope this helps - please give me a like if it does!

Busy even weekdays for a reason, bc the food and drinks are that good here! The lavender London fog….so unique and delicious! Nice and light! My eggs puttanesca…eggs perfectly poached! Lively environment and a great space!

Wonderful food and the Dubai Chocolate Latte (half sweet) was so fun. We had the Mushroom Toast great flavors on fresh sourdough- delicious!!

Google
Tasty brunch offerings and lattes! We tried the Cubano, mushroom toast, poutine, steak eggs frites accompanied by waffle fries. They have outdoor/patio seating. A little bit of a wait on a Saturday, as expected for a popular area. Dogs are allowed outside.

Google
Great place with good food and nice atmosphere. Perfect for family and dates. We found this place based on reviews as well. Breakfast never cease to disappoint. We went three times within a week and each time we try out something new. Their advocado toast and egg Benedict are just right to the taste. I can’t remember some of the names of the food we ordered but I wouldn’t mind trying everything on their list. The coffee and drinks are pretty tasty too. Every day we go there, even on the weekdays they’re pretty full. I can’t imagine what’s it’s like on the weekends. But it’s a must try.

Follow me on Instagram for more reviews! @hopeless_ramen_tic 📍 Cafe Lift - Haddonfield, NJ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: **Mushroom Toast** - Slide 1 - A truly unique dish. - The truffle oil added an amazing touch. - The mushrooms were packed with flavor. - Eggs were cooked to perfection. - The sourdough was fantastic. **Lemon Ricotta Pancake** - Slide 2 - Light and fluffy, not too lemony. - Delicious but with a flavor that was maybe too subtle. - Strawberries and powdered sugar were a perfect match. **Vegan Pita** - Slide 4 - The red lentil falafel was a standout. - Super crispy falafel. - The pita was warm and fresh. - Would have appreciated a detailed spice list; one of the spices (possibly curry) was too strong for our taste. - The house-made tzatziki was a winner. **Turkey Bacon** - Slide 5 - Decent, but I’ve had better. - The texture was nice and crisp. Drinks: **Pistachio Latte** - Slide 3 (Left) - Subtle pistachio flavor that wasn’t overpowering. - Loved the actual pistachio bits in the coffee. - Delicious with the ideal milk-to-coffee ratio. - Definitely recommend ordering it hot! **Lavender Fog** - Slide 3 (Right) - A cozy, warm lavender-infused drink. - Could have used a bit more lavender syrup to enhance the sweetness. - Perfect milk-to-tea balance. - The presentation was adorable. I visited Cafe Lift for a late brunch with my friend, Sammy, and it was our first time here. We will definitely be back! The place is charming, though our table was a bit small. The food was excellent, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. While they don’t accept reservations, the wait wasn’t too long. Highly recommend giving this spot a try! Date Visited: 8/17/2024

Google
Café Lift in Haddonfield has officially become my new go-to breakfast and lunch spot! Everything on the menu looks amazing, and it was so hard to choose. We ended up having lunch, and it was beyond great. I tried the chicken cutlet sandwich on their homemade focaccia bread, and it was absolute perfection—so fresh and flavorful. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. Just a heads-up: make sure to arrive early because there’s always a wait—but it’s totally worth it!

Google
We had a great breakfast here! Coffee is bold and tasty. We had the lemon ricotta pancakes and the crepe. The crepe wasn't my favorite but still good. The pancakes were amazing! Our server, Rachel, was excellent. The decor is very cute and simple which I love. Street/parallel parking. I'd def come here again!

Yelp
Brunch Date Bliss at Café Lift NJ After a midwife appointment, my husband and I treated ourselves to brunch at Café Lift in New Jersey, and it was such a memorable and delicious stop during our day. I been here before celebrating a friend's birthday, and then another time I had brunch with a friend too, so I definitely wanted my husband to experience this since we are big breakfast/brunch folk. I had the Street Corn Frittata, and it was everything I didn't know I needed -- fluffy egg whites layered with roasted corn, cotija cheese, avocado, and a smoky chipotle drizzle, served with warm tortillas and crispy home fries. It was bursting with flavor and felt hearty yet light -- like a comforting hug with a kick. My husband ordered the Breakfast Poutine, and it was indulgent in the best way -- a bowl of crispy waffle fries smothered in cheese sauce, topped with a fried egg and sliced red chilies for a little heat. Perfectly savory and satisfying. We shared the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and WOW. They were soft, tangy, just slightly sweet, and topped with powdered sugar and strawberries. A perfect ending to balance out the savory dishes. The vibe was relaxed, the service was quick and kind, and it made for the perfect post-appointment brunch date. Highly recommend Café Lift NJ for anyone looking for a spot that delivers bold flavors with a cozy, modern twist.

Yelp
Busy even on a Wednesday at 11:15 am in the summer, Cafe Lift is going strong in Haddonfield! We have been to the Philly, Narberth and now this location and it's still one of the best for a breakfast burrito (come hungry), yogurt bowl (one of the few gluten free options), and Chicken Caesar salad with corn tortilla (GF but cross-contamination with fryer). The modern, clean, fun feel of this location is inviting, loud and family friendly. Sit at the bar if you don't want to wait!

Yelp
We stopped by on a Sunday in the spring. This area of Haddonfield only offers on-street parking. The place had a 20 minute wait. There is a little space in the front to wait for your table with two small benches. Offering outdoor seating on the sidewalk as well as a mixture of tables with booth back chairs. After about 25 minutes of waiting, and noticing there were a few tables that were bussed and reset and unoccupied. my wife approached the host stand and asked about our table, they were kid of like "oh yeah!" and brought us over to a table. The menu has lots of options, we made our selections and soon our beverages came. The regular house brewed coffee was great - reminiscent of one of our La Colombe favorites. I got a cafe mocha which was fine but not memorable, and our daughter ordered the rose lemonade which had rose water syrup and dried rose petals garnished on team. Kid. Of unique and she was happy with it. All of our various breakfast dishes were delicious and we were pleased with our choices overall. A good spot to try if you are in Haddonfield and looking for a nice brunch spot. They are open until 3pm. We especially enjoyed the sleek modern look of the indoor seating area and appreciated the giant glass windows overlooking downtown Haddonfield. Prices were high. I think it was over $150 with tip for four people. What do you expect from a hot spot in Haddonfield?

Yelp
4.5** Such a cute brunch spot!! Only came in for the coffee to go but the inside of the spot is absolutely stunning. I loved all the subtle nods to baseball, it was the cherry on top. Super nice service too! I ended up getting the iced honeysuckle latte and it was really yummy. Definitely would love to come back to try their food!

Yelp
One of my favorite brunch spots in the area, but be ready for a wait & to walk around until a table opens up! They have a super large menu with lots of breakfast or lunch options, plus sweets. The chicken cutlet sandwich was incredible with house made focaccia, fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe, and roasted red peppers. The candied dried orange mocha coffee is also one of the best specialty coffees I have tried!

Yelp
Mother's Day and no reservations can be made- the wait was close to two hours. We received a text message and had 10 mins to arrive back to the restaurant. Haddonfield is super cute and walkable so we walked around, enjoyed the weather, and took a seat on one of the many benches. I ordered the huevos rancheros with eggs on the side and a latte. Everything was delicious. My expectations were high because I enjoyed cafe lift in Philadelphia and the Haddonfield location did not disappoint!

Yelp
Visited Cafe Lift, in Haddonfield, N.J. today. We were meeting friends from Pennsylvania, so this was a midway point to meet. The place is trendy & family friendly. The menu had a lot to offer! There were 5 in our party. Each one enjoyed their breakfast. Afterwards walking around this quaint charming town was a treat & a great way to digest our hearty meals, before heading home & a long drive! Would definitely return & recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Stopped in for a weekday brunch on a Tuesday and it was packed in here--First sign that it was amazing. Julian provided excellent service. Cafe Lift is cute and has a wonderful open modern ambiance. The Food was not only tasty but also beautifully presented. The falafel was so delicious, the green goddess and crab bisque were also winners. I really enjoyed my lavender London fog with oat milk- it was really good. Portions are huge as well. Will definitely be back. Street parking is available or parking in the back.

Yelp
The food here was incredible. We did have to wait for a table. There's no reservations and weekends are busy. We opted to sit at the counter to save time. I tried their lemon ricotta pancakes and highly recommend them. My friend ordered butterscotch apple French toast. We split the potatoes. Everything was delicious. I did order a coffee beverage and asked them to go light on the cinnamon, that request was not granted. They are a bit pricy, so this would not be a regular brunch spot for me and parking is not easy to find in this area of Haddonfield. Next time I'll try table service and report back. The ambiance is a tad upscale, but that's expected in a lovely town like Haddonfield.

Yelp
Not only is the food in the top 3 of breakfast spots in south jersey but the location and service are unmatched! Not pictured but the iced chai is my favorite in all NJ it's very good! Our server Jordan was quick and very friendly went out of her way to help us out and made sure we always had water and condiments in the table! We brought our dog and she brought out a dog bowl for him as well! will return again always!

Yelp
What a gem!!! My daughter told me about Cafe Lift and we decided to go for breakfast. Food & service was absolutely amazing! Since it was so cold out, the first thing I wanted was coffee. I chose the Maple Brown Sugar Latte and it hit the spot. For my meal, I ordered the Jersey Madame. All I can say is wow, Wow, WOW!! I hit all the tastebuds...salty, sweet, and savory. I would have never thought to pair pancakes with Swiss cheese, pork roll, chives, and a sunny side up egg, but guess what...?? It was delicious! Already planning to return once the weather breaks so I can enjoy all Cafe Lift has to offer, including the outdoor seating.

Yelp
I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich with a salad and it was very tasty, but a bit pricey. Staff were super friendly and attentive to our needs. The inside was quaint, although a little cramped.

Yelp
Service was excellent here and ambiance is cute. We came here for breakfast, we got coffee, Chai tea, espresso, matcha, French toast, crepe and street tacos, it was good but not great. The blueberry French toast was way too sweet the blueberries were not what I expected, too much sugar, same with the crepe, globs of Nutella from the jar and blueberries from a jar, gross. The coffee is too strong and not enjoyable for us. We were given free pancakes since the order was messed up, those too had a weird lemony after taste which was not expected or pleasant. Way too expensive for the size, especially $20 small plate of street tacos. $120 for 4 people for breakfast, ouch.

Yelp
This is a great brunch spot in Haddonfield! The lift burger is one of our favorites, and the strawberry pancakes were amazing. The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance and we look forward to eating here again!

Yelp
I visited Cafe Lift on a rainy Saturday morning for brunch at 10 AM, prosecco in hand. They don't take reservations, so I got there a little earlier than the rest of my party of 7 and asked to reserve a table. Despite the torrential rain, there was a steady stream of people in and out of the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me they would have my table ready shortly. My friends arrived shortly after, but the two of us who arrived first were escorted to the table, and the very sweet man at the front told us there was no rush. Our server, Julian, was at our table in no time and was extremely attentive throughout our entire time there. I ordered a black coffee, which was delicious but not as hot as I would have liked and some grapefruit juice for my prosecco. Once everyone arrived, Julian was willing to answer any menu questions and offer suggestions. I settled on the Lemon Ricotta pancakes and a spicy fennel sausage. These may have been the best pancakes I have EVER had. I'm definitely more of a waffle person, and these pancakes could convert me. They were perfectly cooked, incredibly flavored, and just perfection. The spicy fennel sausage was also delicious. It's definitely spicy but not at all overpowering the flavor. We were there for my friend's 40th, so before our food actually came out, they brought us French toast with a candle in it! It was really good and, again, I'm a waffle person, so color me surprised. I really liked Cafe Lift. I'd love to go back. I went with 6 other women, and I think it's the perfect place for a girl's brunch. I don't know that I'd take my kids. The ambiance was bright, and the decor was simple but very warm and inviting.

Yelp
It was my second time visiting. I returned because the first time the food was so delicious. The first time there for lunch both me and my mom decided to get the tuna Niçoise salad. It was fantastic!! The second time I met a friend for brunch and went with the smoked salmon Benny. It was equally delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Coffee was brewed perfectly. This place is a gem.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch today (my office is five minutes away). Seated right away. Server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and my friend got two eggs with sausage. My sandwich was so good!! The bread! The chicken salad! I will definitely order that again!! I forgot my phone at the office so no pictures from this visit. We also both agreed at how nice, open and bright the restaurant was!

Lisa G.

Yelp
Great brunch place! Excellent menu and awesome service! The cappuccino is tasteful and the avocado toast is to the top. Never had such a great avocado toast!! If you are looking for a brunch place please look no further. You won't be disappointed

Yelp
To start, the cafe is super cute and cozy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The coffee was so good, I didn't even add cream or sugar. Definitely begin your meal with the mushroom toast, it's absolutely fantastic! The grilled cheese was nice and crunchy, dipped in the crab bisque was perfection! Side salad was refreshing and light. For sure looking forward to going back to try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
A friend and I really enjoyed our meal here when visiting Haddonfield. There was paid parking in back of the restaurant. The restaurant is casual and fairly large. There were som interesting choice on the menu but the pancakes were calling to me especially since they were lemon and ricotta. They came with some strawberries sliced on top and the taste was really good. My friend had the cannoli French toast-another great choice. Service was good and we enjoyed our meal
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
We went on a weekend morning and seats fill up fast so I suggest going as early as possible. We got the Eggs Benedict (Smoked Salmon) and Jersey Blueberry Pie French Toast. The Eggs Benedict was average and there was not enough potatoes. The french toast was better but overall, these are small plates that I'm not sure are worth it. Service was friendly, they have some outside seating, and is located in Downtown Haddonfield so there is metered parking. 3/5.

Yelp
I like Cafe Lift. They have one in Philly and you cannot go wrong going for brunch. The menu is pretty versatile and everything in the menu is worth getting. Outdoor sitting available if you have any pets.

Yelp
Great time with great food! The cannoli French toast was so good! The warm toast and gooey cannoli mixture was such a comfy cozy treat on a chill winter day! The London Fog was flavorful and good!

Yelp
Updated Review: I have now been to Cafe Lift two times since my initial review and I have to say... FANTASTIC! Both times, there was a significant wait to be seated (first time was 60 min for a party of 4 and the second was 45 min for a party of 2) but they take your phone number and text you when the table is ready which allows you to walk around and check out all of the fun little shops in Haddonfield. But the biggest reason for my updated and 5 STAR review is the food! The Cubano absolutely blew me away. First, the sandwich is made from what takes and feels like fresh, soft inside, crispy and flavorful outside focaccia bread. Ham, pulled pork, pickle and brown mustard all served with the perfect balance of each to create a masterfully delicious sandwich that is hard to put down but served in such a large portion (with a nice side salad) that you'll usually have plenty to take home and reheat! Not kidding when I say this is the best Cubano I've ever had (and I've had several from Miami). In addition to the Cubano we've also ordered French toast, raspberry blintz (seasonal), and the prime rib sandwich. I could use another large paragraph summarizing each, but the bottom line is, they were all GREAT! Great portion sizes, amazing flavor combinations, fantastic and friendly service, and a menu big enough to try something new but also good enough to stick with the hits if you wanted! Since the early opening when I was a little disappointed and gave this a 4 star, the past two visits have proven they are worthy of a 5 star upgrade! DO NOT miss this spot if you're visiting Haddonfield! Note on decor: I won't let it impact my review, but they still have minor decor issues. The first time there was an ugly hole in the ceiling and this time there was some very unseemly (and dangerous) raising of the vinyl flooring under some of the table seating. This place is literally only a year old and there should not be this significant of signs of aging. To management: love your food, seriously it's damn good! But you're in Haddonfield, packed every day and charging Haddonfield prices $17 for a sandwich). Stop going cheap with vinyl flooring. Spend the money on flooring that will hold up to your level of traffic.

Yelp
I wasn't much of a fan of the Jen's Crespelle I ordered but everyone else's food looked amazing! Crespelle was executed fine, just personal preference, would have enjoyed something more interesting in flavor, composition. All my friends enjoyed their meal. Potatoes were excellent. Friendly service and reasonably fast too considering how packed it was. Interior is so nice and the windows brighten it all up. 100% would return and try the other dishes.

Yelp
I love their chicken cutlet sandwich. I always have to take half home, because the portion is so big. It also comes with a nice side portion of green salad. Their cider drink is to die for. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly atmosphere.
google avatar

Greg T.

Yelp
Popped in for a quick brunch on a weekday. The service was friendly, but a tad slow. No big deal, we weren't really in a rush. We had the Cubano and an order of pancakes. Pancakes were very good as was the Cubano. I probably wouldn't get the Cubano again as it wasn't a "traditional" style, but was still solid. Love the space and the atmosphere.

Yelp
If you love Brunchin... this is the place to go! Located on the Main Street of Haddonfield on Kings Hwy... such a cute little place with such good food! It always seems busy but the wait has never been too long! Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. Lots of options as far as breakfast and lunch items. Lots of different coffee, teas, and juices. One menu item that you have to definitely try is the fennel sausage!! Omg.. so good with just a little spice. I've been here a few times and get it every time! Their potato's are a super crispy too which I LOVE! Everything has been on point and freshly made! Haven't had a bad dish yet!! Potions are generous... i always want to get way more than my belly can handle. Will just have to continue to come back! Definitely get one of their French toast or pancake dishes for the table to share :-)

Yelp
Truly the best breakfast ive had since moving to Philly. I had the huevos rancheros, and every detail was perfect down to the salsa macha which's v. picante. Even being a hater of raw onions, I cannot deduct a star even though I scrape them off every time/ forget to order the dish without. Don't forget to check out their specialty drinks and Ube tea, too!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great. Great service, we've been twice so far and the food is consistent which is a big thing for us. The frittata was good and both were diff but equally good. The spicy fennel sausage is delicious. Their potatoes are seasoned well with herbs as well. Lemon Ricotta pancakes is pure delight and we could prob eat a stack of them. It comes with a side of honey. It's good solo, with honey or syrup! My partner loves the hot chocolate. It's also a BYOB, no reservations This will be in our rotation for sure.

Yelp
Still love it here. Brought a friend once who loved it. My husband loved it too today. Service is great, the s'mores latte was good as well as their mushroom toast. My husband really loved his dish esp the lemon ricotta pancake.

Yelp
I have to go somewhere around Jersey and I decided to find a brunch spot. I'm glad that I stopped by here. A cute & beautiful place with friendly & helpful staff, unique & delicious foods and awesome coffee. . I ordered their Speciality Beverage, Ube Hazelnut Latte and I loved it. The Mushroom Toast, Jersey Madame & Nutty Monkey Crepelle were all delicious and I love all them. . Definitely I will come back next time. If you are looking for a good brunch restaurant, you should try Cafe Lift Haddonfield.

Yelp
Never been to this location, been to the Philly one a few times. Place was pretty busy for a Tuesday afternoon, service was friendly and attentive. Eggs Benny was tasty, crispy potatoes and perfectly poached eggs. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Came here the other day for a quick bite for lunch alone and had a nice time! I ordered the lyonnaise salad and their mushroom soup Loveeeeed the mushroom soup - it reminds me of the one at White Dog which is a favorite of mine. Will def get it again if they have it (should definitely be on their permanent menu) The lyonnaise salad was OK - way more greens than protein. And for the price I def should have gotten more ingredients than just the frisée and kale. But the focaccia was baked perfectly and same with the bacon lard Overall it was a decent meal but for a salad and soup the price was a little steep but I think the soup was worth the price but idk about the salad but will def come to try their other dishes!

Mignon D.

Yelp
Mushroom Toast, Poutine, side of lemon ricotta pancake was a hit! Busy but very clean. Friendly service. Street Parking but public parking lot, train station parking nearby. Recommend. Will go again.

Yelp
Planned on taking a friend out for a birthday brunch/lunch. Wanted to a try something new (to us) and found Cafe Lift in Haddonfield. I am glad we decided to try this place out. The wait wasn't too long and it's on a busy street with other shops that you can go to while you wait. Decor is really cute and there are enough tables to fit many people. We both ate the EGG CHEESESTEAK: shaved ribeye, caramelized onions, American cheese, a fried egg, on a pretzel bun. This was delicious and perfect portion. I had mine with a side of fries. Prior to leaving, we also ordered a DIRTY CHAI LATTE to go. This was our first time trying it and we loved it. Can't wait to go back and have some more.

Kc N.

Yelp
Everything about this place is 10/10 as long as you expect a wait time and loud noise. Food is incredible, service is always on point, and I always say "that was the best meal I've ever had."

Yelp
After hearing so many amazing reviews I had to try cafe lift. I was not as happy as I thought I would have been. The hot chocolate tasted like warm milk. And as pictured looked only slightly darker then milk. The ran out of breakfast poutine which was a big disappointment as it was 12noon when we sat down. And despite asking for no cilantro in the chicken Cesar salad I had at least three mouthfuls of it. On the positive side I did enjoy the French toast. It was crispy on the outside edges and full of flavor all the way thru the bread. The chicken Cesar salad has a slightly Mexican theme. The chicken was nicely cooked and had a great flavor. I will try again.

Yelp
My girlfriend came here on a Saturday for brunch with a friend and loved it so much that she went back the very next day, this time with me. Arrived at 10am to a packed restaurant. They quoted us 30 - 45 minutes for a table. After a nice stroll around town, exactly 30 minutes after putting in our names, they texted us letting us know the table was ready. It was crowded and noisy but this only added to the atmosphere rather than detracting from it. Our waitress, Rachel, was perfect. Professional, friendly and efficient. I ordered the breakfast poutine which was pretty good. My only complaint was that the waffle fries were over-cooked to the point that most were beyond crispy and were downright crunchy. My girlfriend got the eggs florentine and let me try some - now this was a phenomenal dish. We'll definitely be back. There are so many things on the menu that I'd love to try.

Yelp
I absolutely love love love cafe lift. The food is delicious and we have not been disappointed by any dish thus far. The only bad experience was when we sat outside and hornets or bees were flying around our table so we didn't get a chance to enjoy our brunch. We've bee coming since the summer time and we leave very full and happy.

Yelp
My second time here and both have exceeded my expectations with the taste of my food. I got the mushroom toast that had truffle and an aioli on top of a sourdough bread and two poached eggs with French onions. It came with a dressed side salad. My friend had the Jens Crespel and she said it was delicious. The server was attentive and checked up on us. I highly recommend!!

Yelp
I had breakfast here last week for the second time. I can't believe I didn't leave a review after my first visit. Let me say this, I was a little scared to try this location bc I'm so used to the Cafe Lift in Philly. However, the Haddonfield location rocked my tastebuds, so I plan to revisit this location too. I ordered the apple crisp french toast. I believe it was a special as it is in season with a side of breakfast sausage. I usually go with the cannoli french toast, but I was in an apple mood. I'm sooo glad I made the switch. The apple crisp French toast had fried apples, granola, caramel and the most amazing homemade whipped cream. The whipped cream had a consistency of ice cream that never melted. It was simply divine. My sausage was good, but clearly the french toast stole the show for me. I tried to eat as much as I could, but I never finish bc their portions are huge. I did manage to finish my matcha oat milk latte. Thank you Cafe Lift of Haddonfield for a great breakfast experience. I will be sure to return soon.

Yelp
Wow. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS. There are so many places to eat in haddonfield but I would come back to the same place to get the same thing just so I can experience it again. The mushroom toast was amazing. I'm a big fan of mushrooms and eggs benedict, and it was the perfect healthy combo. The side salad was insane. Even my boyfriend who doesn't like my salads thought it was the best salad ever. He had the egg cheesesteak sandwich because the pretzel bun called his name. He said it was delicious.

Yelp
Probably best mushroom toast I've ever had! I was skeptical of this place because it is on the pricier side, but the portions were sizable and we had a great experience sitting outside. Our waitress recommended the mushroom toast cause there were a lot of things I was interested in, and I'm glad she did! Also got a side pancake and fennel sausage to try (both really tasty as well). Will be back next time I'm in haddonfield and would love to try their Philly location!

Yelp
Brunch only every day? Yes please. Cafe lift is a great idea that is also very well executed. The menu has a nice variety of food options and some speciality seasonal coffees. We started with some drip coffee (very good) and a pumpkin spiced latte, which was pretty much liquid pumpkin pie. Then we split the Brussel toast and huevos rancheros. Both were tasty but the star was definitely the huevos rancheros. That is not a go to brunch item for us, but this was perfection. Super fresh avocado with eggs and cheese balanced well with savory chorizo and a surprisingly spicy salsa. I would get this again every time! The place was not huge and I could see it getting crowded in the weekends, but we went on a Friday morning and tables were open. Overall great service and food!

Yelp
Fir and foremost, it was hot as hell in this restaurant. The hostess were standing and fanning themselves with menus. I asked if the air conditioning was broken and they told me that it was always like this. The service wasn't that much better. First the bottle of warm water. Then when I ordered the salad with chicken salad (like it was printed on the menu) I received just the salad. When I asked about the chicken salad, they seemed confused. So much so that he brought over the menu and I had to show him. Totally unimpressed.

Yelp
Came here for a quick coffee and glad it was just that! The inside looked like it would've been a long wait to even be seated, and it was a cold snowy Saturday. I ordered a lavender latte since it looked like the most unique item on the menu, and it did not disappoint. It did take longer than expected but most likely because they were busy which was understandable. Not sure if they take reservations, but if they do, highly recommend for a popping place on the weekend. Also a great place to pop in for a quick coffee, given you have a couple of minutes to wait as well :)

Yelp
Went on a Friday morning. It was busy but we were able to get seated right away. Seems like they were able to hire more staff to meet demand which is good to see. Coffee is really good. We ordered shakshuka and jersey madam. I would probably go back and try different things next time. Both dishes were not bad but I feel like it's just not a good fit for my personal palate. The quality of the food was great and the presentation was nice so I feel that this could be a place where you just have to look for what you like best because it's always going to be solid. Bit on the pricier side but the serving size is very generous.
