"Cheesesteaks are at the top of most Philly food bucket lists and at Cafe Lift they’ve conjured up a morning rendition of this iconic dish with its egg cheesesteak featuring fried eggs, succulent shaved ribeye, caramelized onions, and American cheese sandwiched between a pretzel roll (another Philly favorite)." - George Banks-Weston

Start your meal off with a cup of this seafood classic or enjoy it as part of the soup, grilled cheese sandwich, and side salad combo for the ultimate brunch dish." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

"Cafe Lift has been a Philly brunch favorite since 2003 when owners Michael and Jeniphur Pasquarello first opened their doors in the Callowhill neighborhood. In 2022, the couple opened up a second location in Haddonfield, another instant hit. The egg cheesesteak puts a Philly icon on a pretzel bun, while the Jersey Madame centers a triple stack of pancakes with alternating layers of pork roll topped by a sunny side up egg and a creamy maple bechamel. Need more sweets? How about cannoli French toast, lemon ricotta pancakes, and Nutty Monkey Crespelle filled with chocolate hazelnut spread and banana?" - Kae Lani Palmisano

Our waitress Natasha was amazing! I couldn't make up my mind want I wanted to eat (everything on the menu sounded delicious). I told her to just surprise me with something! I do that alot lol, so far, I've never been disappointed. She picked the squash frittata and it was fantastic! All the food was wonderful. The only downside was that the inside was so noisy! Everything was echoing off the walls. They may want to look into sound absorbing wall art. You can find them on Amazon. We sat outside for that reason.

We had a great breakfast here! Coffee is bold and tasty. We had the lemon ricotta pancakes and the crepe. The crepe wasn't my favorite but still good. The pancakes were amazing! Our server, Rachel, was excellent. The decor is very cute and simple which I love. Street/parallel parking. I'd def come here again!

We stopped in for breakfast while on a road trip. Honestly I would give this place 10 stars if I could. It's a lovely little place with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and efficient. Both the coffee and food are simply outstanding. The latte I had was fresh and flavorful. The Eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked (Bonus: The hollandaise sauce is made with butter but no cream which is rare, so it's an option if cream gives you a hard time). The pancake I had was light and fluffy. In short, the whole thing was a fantastic experience! I can't wait to return.

Drinks: **Pistachio Latte** - Slide 3 (Left) - Subtle pistachio flavor that wasn’t overpowering. - Loved the actual pistachio bits in the coffee. - Delicious with the ideal milk-to-coffee ratio. - Definitely recommend ordering it hot! **Lavender Fog** - Slide 3 (Right) - A cozy, warm lavender-infused drink. - Could have used a bit more lavender syrup to enhance the sweetness. - Perfect milk-to-tea balance. - The presentation was adorable. I visited Cafe Lift for a late brunch with my friend, Sammy, and it was our first time here. We will definitely be back! The place is charming, though our table was a bit small. The food was excellent, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. While they don’t accept reservations, the wait wasn’t too long. Highly recommend giving this spot a try! Date Visited: 8/17/2024

Food was delicious and interesting. I got the breakfast burrito and the potatoes were super crisp and on the saltier side. My mom got the eggplant panini. The tomato slices in the panini were comically thick, too much for a sandwich. The wait was 5 minutes on a busy Saturday so it wasn’t too bad. However the worst part of the experience was having to yell to make conversation. The music was SO loud which made everyone talk loud so it was difficult to hear one another. If you come for conversation sit outside or else you can’t hear each other.

We don’t live in the area otherwise I would be here every single day to enjoy all the delicious foods and coffees/drinks. So happy we picked this place. Highly recommend the “Golden Hour” with turmeric, cardamom…. So yummy!

Came with a larger group and was sat immediately. The staff is very nice and the restaurant was very clean! Great service and attentiveness- one of the managers even returned a forgotten purse when we were in the store next door. Coffee and food tasted great. A little on the pricier side but the presentation and portion sizes were very good.

So good. The service was great. The food was delicious. I had the huevos rancheros and it was 5/5, very good. There’s plenty of seating. It’s best to get here early on a Sunday because it starts getting really busy the closer it gets to noon. We got there around 10:30 and only had to wait about 15 minutes which wasn’t bad. But it is well worth the quick wait.
