Cafe Linea has a nice atmosphere and clearly aims to be stylish, but unfortunately the food didn’t live up to expectations. The presentation felt underwhelming, portions were on the small side, and the dishes arrived lukewarm rather than properly hot. Given the pricing, it was disappointing, overall it didn’t feel like good value for money.
The coffee was another let-down. It seems they’ve jumped on the trend of serving coffee in very small glasses, which feels more about maximising profit than satisfying the customer. At that price point, you expect a hearty, properly sized cup, not something that’s gone in two sips.
There’s potential here, but with the current portion sizes, temperature issues, and pricing, it doesn’t quite justify the cost. Hopefully something they’ll refine, as the concept itself is promising.
