London’s New Restaurant Openings - London - The Infatuation

"You can now follow up your visit to the Saatchi Gallery by popping next door to all-day cafe and bakery, Cafe Linea. We’re especially excited about the peach and bourbon hand pie at breakfast, the choux everything bagel at weekends, and the chicken and bacon caesar salad at dinner." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Cafe Linea - Review - Chelsea - London - The Infatuation

"Cafe Linea is an all-day cafe and bakery next door to the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea. There's peach and bourbon hand pie on the breakfast menu, a choux everything bagel at weekends, and chicken and bacon caesar salad at dinner. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Sinéad Cranna

From the moment we stepped in, the experience was flawless. The ambiance was refined yet warm — the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The attention to detail in both the décor and service was truly impressive. We were welcomed with genuine hospitality, and the staff remained attentive without being intrusive. The menu was beautifully curated, offering a selection of refined and well-balanced dishes that highlight quality ingredients and elegant presentation. Every plate was a visual and culinary delight — perfectly cooked, thoughtfully portioned, and served at the ideal temperature. The slow-cooked lamb and grilled chicken were both exceptional: tender, flavorful, and satisfying without being heavy. A thoughtful complementary item was offered at the end of our meal, and it was a truly delightful touch — unexpected, elegant, and deeply appreciated. This is more than just a meal — it’s an experience worth remembering. Highly recommended for those who appreciate fine dining, calm ambiance, and exceptional service.

Absolutely loved our first visit to Cafe Linea! The atmosphere is beautiful, the desserts and wine pairings were spot-on, and the service was truly exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful without ever feeling overbearing. Also a big plus: they’re dog-friendly! We felt completely welcome from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back and try the breakfast next time. Highly recommended!

EDITED: the person who replied to me clearly does not read their own menu of the restaurant they work at/ own because the avocado on toast, on the menu it explicitly says fried rice. and i am referring to THE RICE GARNISHED ON TOP. i know how to use a knife and fork so do my friends but my friends and i found cutting the sourdough a whole exercise. like we kept sawing for minutes for every piece, at least IF the food tasted good i would’ve been more grateful and cherished every bite i worked for sawing the sourdough. the meal was just bad and the fried rice looked like maggots. the mocha was terrible too. furthermore it took more than 15 minutes for the bill to come when we asked for it.

Wonderful experience. The place is gorgeous and very well designed. Lots of attention into detail with art works on the walls. The menu is great! We tried the Fregola ( veggie option ) and it was delicious. Overall great flavours and textures. The service was very good, friendly staff. I highly recommend the desserts and sweet options! The fig gelato !

Lovely place to enjoy your coffee & cake . We were 4 adults ordered coffees plus 1 strawberry pastry, 1 coconut cake , 1 cinnamon pastry & 1 gluten free coffee biscuit as well as fries and juice for my niece Cakes were amazingly delicious , freshly baked & full of flavours . The staff are friendly and welcoming and the place is new & bright The only downside is the toilets , like a maze you go upstairs and too many doors so you get confused no signs or directions where to go 🫤 you need 5 minutes to find the toilet !!

WOW. This site is absolutely stunning. Everything was a delight. The service was impeccable, food was delicious and beautifully presented and really reasonably priced for the area. The wine and cocktail menus are well thought out and executed beautifully. A great new addition to the neighbourhood.

Such a gorgeous spot - I came for dinner, all the food was fab but a special shout out to the lobster eclair which was truly delish, unmissable! I am already planning my next visits: coffee & pastry in the morning, and a summery afternoon sipping cocktails on the terrace. This place has it all!

Linea is definitely a new hot spot to try - there is a bakery, restaurant and cafe so something for everyone. Also they have an extensive wine list and offer cocktails and spritzes. We tried the lobster eclair and gorgonzola peach walnut puffs - delicious bites!! Then we had the burrata, peach, tomato salad as well as the mackerel and the chicken liver parfait millefeuille which was to die for! Another stand out dish for me was the roasted hake with curried brown crab sauce - stunning. We then finished off with these delicious mini desserts including creme brulee choux, homemade strawberry ice cream and mini tarts - divine. Can’t wait to go back!!
